I ordered and paid for 2 full cords of firewood over the phone. When the delivery driver showed up with 2 face cords, I was completely confused. I called while the delivery driver was still in the driveway and the person on the phone claimed that they sent 2 full face cords . They refused to rectify the situation and the person on the phone became very rude. They refused to give me a refund and became extremely unprofessional. I have been a customer here for over 16 years, but I will never deal with them again. Do not make the mistake of dealing with this company because they do nothing to fix their mistakes and they will take advantage of you.

I feel cheated. I ordered 5 yards of pea gravel from this company and they had one of the most expensive prices around for pea gravel but they were willing to deliver same day so I didnt mind. However, what they dropped off wasnt even enough to fill a 4-yard dumpster that I had and I paid for 5 yards of expensive pea gravel. I feel cheated and I dont have enough pea gravel to finish the job when I originally ordered more than necessary.

I purchased firewood from them in September 2020. It would hardly catch and when it would burn it was so smokey that the fire was unbearable. I just tried burning the wood again in April 2021, same problem. I called the store and the lady that answered assumed that I was doing something wrong. NO, bad firewood DONT buy from them. Now I am stuck with all this horrible wood.

Came in at 7am Sat and the item I was looking for had crossed out prices, verbally/ arbitrarily raised prices by 50%. The employee was rude and would explain when I asked why the price hike in less than a week. Im more disappointed with the rude service and unwillingness to communicate.

Weird price hikes. Rude owner. Saw them complaining they can t find people to hire. Lol so pay a living wage. What s not clicking?

They havevusually come through for me over the years. They had what I wanted and needed to put it in bags which they said they couldnt do. I went to another place to get what I needed. My bad for asking on the day of. Still, when you drive past what you want on your way to the counter, its disappointing to be told you cant have it.

We had a positive experience with this landscape company during a neighborhood clean-up day in the spring, which prompted our nonprofit to return with our community gardens soil needs. However, this time around, we did not receive the 2 yards of soil we paid for (in advance). We called to alert them of the short delivery and arrange a follow-up. After being on hold for 15 minutes, our call dropped. We called back, was placed on hold for another 10 minutes, and were routed to the manager. Although the delay is understandable (post-COVID, a lot of businesses are short-staffed), the blatant condescension and rudeness of the manager was not; I wish Id read reviews beforehand sharing other customers issues with this. We had ordered 2 yards of soil in the past, so we were aware of what we were supposed to receive, but we were unable to get the drivers attention at the time of delivery to let them know wed paid for 1 more yard. While on the phone with the manager, I sent a pic and timestamp of what was delivered according to scale. Rather than rectify the situation, the manager tried to take me through a math lesson. Unless they could come out and inspect with their own tape measures -- during a community event, already in full swing -- we were told that we were just out of luck and that they would be keeping the money because we cant prove youre honest. What?!?! Good customer service, respect, and LISTENING is low on the priority list for the manager we dealt with on 7/28/2021. (And given how small of an operation this is, he is likely the only manager on staff.) Proceed with caution -- and take a look at some of the reviews calling out the misogyny experienced in dealing with this company.

Picked up landscape silica rocks to put in my garden patio for decorative ambiancence. Each year, Ive previously used the white marble before. They have printed sheets with their priceless & have great prices.

They intentionally broke my window in a road rage. Instead of willing to work something out on fixing it, they thought it was a good idea to call the police. Of course, the cops charged them with destruction of personal property. I told them this could all go away simply if they just pay me for the damages they caused, but they refuse. Worst of all, this is the actions of the owner and his son! Definitely not the business I would trust, but make your own judgement. When you guys pay me for my damages, I ll remove the post

POOR TOP SOIL QUALITY Received two deliveries of top soil. The first load was okay. It had some sticks in it but it worked. The second load looked okay. I saw a few rocks and sticks but nothing major. After watering the lawn for a couple of days I noticed the top layer of the lawn was covered with pebbles, mulch-like sticks, and pieces of glass the following morning. When I called Eagle Landscaping about the issue they gave me lame excuses and they kept changing the subject. I won t be back. The bagged top soil from Home Depot and Lowe s is much better quality than what I received from this company.

I got 8 cubic yards their Econo mulch on sale at $15 per yard. Best price around that I could find. Unfortunately there was so much trash in the mulch that the sale price did not make up for the pain of picking out the trash. I would expect an average of 1 piece of trash per 3 cubic feet.

Delivery driver was very short, rude and completely not understanding. Treated me with no respect and did not value my time, money, or thoughts. The owner did not care for my encounter and did not act on it. I do not recommend this company for anything. The day of delivery I was told to dig 3-6 into the ground where I was having the sand placed, a 15x20 area. Three hours of work. When the truck driver arrived with the sand he wouldnt deliver it to the destination due to his concern over a small branch sticking out which he believed could have knocked off his mirror. The branch was no more than an inch thick. I showed him I had my ladder and a pair of branch clippers set aside and would have it taken care of in less than a minute. His response, come on man, I dont have time for this, I have other deliveries to make. I told him that one more minute of his time will save me four hours of hard hauling labor and was willing to pay extra. Again his response, I have people waiting on me, do you want this sand or not. Looking back I should have sent the order back and got it somewhere else as I now have a mound of sand in my yard where I am having my wedding at in less than a week. I sent pictures and complained, management chose to back the drivers judgement call and decided not to correct any wrongs. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone.

Cant say enough great things about these people. The family owners are great to work with. Once you walk through the door your greeted like royalty from the gals at the desk there, than you have a great variety of products to choose from. The products there are fantastic. If you didnt like the products, people or service your probably just to picky and you should get a condo.

They have bundles of straw!!!! A friend suggested going there and she was right!! I was paying almost twice what they charge but had to drive out towards Stoney Creek... Looks like I may have to check them out come Spring for my Landscaping needs...

One of their drivers was very inconsiderate last week while I was out walking my dog. I had to walk around their equipment into the street because they blocked the sidewalk. As I was walking around their equipment to get back on the sidewalk, one of their drivers came towards me with his large truck blocking off my path to the sidewalk and forcing me to walk in the middle of a semi busy road versus stopping and letting me head towards the sidewalk. As I was walking around his truck into the middle of the road trying to see if cars were coming, he continued to drive right next to me as if I wasnt even there. He never once stopped his truck from moving, not once. As a former bus driver I know an unsafe driver when I see one. This man did not care one bit that he put me in harms way. I called management to file a complaint and they never offered a follow up phone call. I found this experience to be unprofessional and felt it was worth sharing.

Came in for topsoil. Yard and a half in the truck in no time. Good quality soil at a good price.

Employee put the wrong type of dirt in my trailer. Not a problem. But when I was trying to unload the wrong dirt myself by hand I apparently got in the way. The Dozer driver came flying at my vehicle, slammed on the brakes coming to a screeching halt and then started screaming at me. When I went inside the office to complain both the woman behind the counter looked at me clueless and it became apparent that the guy who was screaming at me was the owner. I called back and left my phone number in case he wanted to apologize for such bad business ethic but I never got a call back.

I have been using Eagle for mulch, top soil and firewood for over 25 years. There prices are reasonable, service excellent and the firewood is always the best! I would highly recommend them.

After buying several 1/2 yard loads of garden soil (thats the limit that my truck will hold), I asked the manager if I could pay for a whole yard and make two trips, saving myself $8.00/yd. She informed me that in effect, there was too much going on at the yard, and it was against policy. Im disappointed that Eagle wont accommodate the little guy - me. I called Bordines in Rochester and spoke to Kevin and he said that there was no problem with me paying for a full yard and making 2 trips. I like the people at Eagle but Im making the switch to Bordines.
