Ben and his team did great, thorough work, and was very responsive to necessary tweaks (due to building codes for solar) They got the work done quickly and cleanly. I plan on using them again for a backyard project.
It took me a while to get to this, but I felt it was important to leave a review especially if it helps. If you're looking for a transformation to your yard then look no further you found them. I was very pleased with all the work that was done. Even the neighbors have stopped to compliment the work of art. The crew was excellent to work with and they were very knowledgeable with the types of plants and flowers that would compliment the area. We were very appreciative that they kept us informed every step of the way. It was truly amazing to see an idea that I had in my head come to life and exceed my expectations. I will say the job was expensive, but they worked with me in regards to my budget by providing me with different quotes and options. I now have a beautiful pondless waterfall in my front yard! Yard Yogi performed magic in my previously dismal backyard. Ben and his team removed the old deck and cleared the area. Ben worked with us on the design adding his design expertise suggestions. The Yard Yogi team worked hard transforming our back yard to the entertaining area we wanted. Ben was open to details and minor changes we wanted. They were at our home everyday moving forward with the project, completing ahead of schedule. The team cleaned up upon completion. Ben and his team brought new life to our landings and walkway. Our original contractor dropped out unexpectedly and we had to find someone fast. Ben was able to fit us in his busy summer schedule. The work was done promptly and professionally. We are very happy with their work and would recommend Ben and his team. We will let the photos speak for themselves. The driveway will soon be paved by a different contractor.
Our retaining wall at the end of our driveway was damaged due to a vehicle accident. I contacted Yard Yogi which I found on line. The owner Ben got back to me right away and took the time to explain what he could do. Ben and his crew did a great job on our wall.
Ben and crew installed a large landscape bed and a small retaining wall for us in the Fall of 2021. They were extremely professional, provided quality craftsmanship and were very easy to work with. Throughout the project, Ben was responsive and answered all our questions in a timely and accurate manner. We were so impressed with the quality of work and had such a positive experience, that we decided to use Yard Yogi to design and install the landscape plantings this Spring! Yard Yogi did a great job on our patio within the scope of our budget. My husband and I are new homeowners and wanted to elevate our outdoor space since we’ve spent a lot of time outside entertaining last summer. I reached out to Ben from Yard Yogi and he was able to meet with us mid-spring to discuss the start of our project in May. Ben had many visions for our back and front yard and while we were hesitant with a few concepts, we trusted his expertise and overall we ended up being impressed! There were some communication issues in the beginning, but ended up resolving with due diligence by calling Yard Yogi for solutions/clarifications. There had also been a few last-minute changes that came up, such as the stones we picked were backordered and we also had to readjust a few design aspects along the way. But the crew at Yard Yogi were very responsive and acted quickly. The overall project took a few days past the proposed timeline, but the overall outcome was worth the wait. YARD YOGI did an amazing job redoing my front walkway, steps and landing. Unlike most contractors, they communicated promptly and showed up when they said they were going to show up. This is SO RARE with contractors! Initially, I had no idea what design I wanted, but the team was super patient, helpful and walked me through all the possibilities. I couldnt be happier with the outcome and entire experience with the YARD YOGI team! I would absolutely hire them again for future projects :)
We were in a pinch at our company to get the yard repaired after some extensive damage. We were already working with one company but had no response and Yard Yogi was so quick! That day we had a quote and the communication was fast for any revisions. They were able to repair I believe that week and it was really easy to work with them to go over the scopes of the work needed to repair our yard. Definitely recommend!

Had this giy over and he appeared knowledgeable. However, he seemed hellbent on convincing us to drastically increase the size and scope of what we wanted, and was not pleased when I mentioned we may do it in phases. When it became apparent he wasnt interested in our relatively small job, he just ghosted us and stopped returning calls.
We needed a lot of work done at our property, the gardens got away from us last summer. Ben and his team began the work this fall where they removed the rock landscaping stone on all the foundation plantings, it was a ton of work! They worked quickly and efficiently, they listened to our needs and left our yard looking fantastic. We look forward to round two this spring where they will continue to help us get the yard back to it s glory!

Yard Yogi is great. We are so happy with the work that Yard Yogi completed for us. I had my front landscaping redone. Ben took out our old bushes, small stumps, trimmed shrubs, and cleaned up the overgrown weeds. Then he planted some finishing touches that work very well with the rest of our home. Ben was very professional and worked with me from start to finish. He answered all my questions, took the time to explain the details and always made me feel comfortable. Ben is defiantly a hard worker, and he works quickly and thoroughly. I came home to a beautiful, landscaped home. I highly recommend Yard Yogi. I know we will be using Yard Yogi again for other projects around the house.
Yard Yogi did a fantastic job with our backyard landscape re-design. It was no small job but they brought our vision to life and it came out amazing. Ben and the team are hard workers , responsive, easy to work with and very knowledgeable. They are more than just a landscape company. They cleared out the area, graded and resloped, installed a retaining wall and stairs, installed a natural stone walkway and then completed the project with some plantings and landscape work. Total transformation and we couldnt be more pleased with how it turned out. They did such a great job that we asked Ben if they could do an additional project and plant shrubs for privacy along property line. We hired Yard Yogi for a large project to remove an inground pool and redesign the space to be more functional. In addition, we had them design and install a new paver walkway and platform to connect our driveway to the porch and garage. I have looked around for quite some time for a landscape designer with a portfolio that aligned with my style and visions and came across Yard Yogi online. Every image in their portfolio was beautiful, incorporating natural elements with an artistic flow. It is the artistry that sealed the deal for me. I am always quite particular with details and flow but I knew I needed help for the design. Ben did not disappoint. He is truly an artist, highly skilled in landscaping and hardscaping. The pool was on the side of the house between two sloping hillsides, surrounded by trees and fencing. Yard yogi, demo d the space (including all the stumps), regraded the land, installed two retaining walls (one, three-sided, built for a hot tub) and installed natural stone steps and boulders to accent the hills with functionality. The paver walkway led to a driveway, also on a slope. Ben didn t hesitate for a minute. The walkway was seamlessly built into the slope to avoid tripping hazards. I would highly recommend Yard Yogi for all your landscaping/ hardscaping/ design needs and hope to use them again in the future.
Ben and his Yard Yogi crew took on a very large project at our house, involved design, demolition, grading, retaining walls, drainage, and landscaping; it was a soup to nuts project. From start to finish YY was very professional and followed trough on their design thoughts. Even when tissues arose, and on a project our size they will, YY stayed in control and was quick with alternative thoughts to overcome. I would utilize and recommend their services at any time.

My experience with Yard Yogi has been consistently positive. Their work for me was very thorough and effective. Their staff was hard working, efficient and well trained. They were professional in the way they did their work . I would definitely hire them again. Yard Yogi did an excellent job cleaning up winter debris and removing autumn leaves. That was no easy task as my house is surrounded by mature Oak trees. I also had Garden Guru clean and restore my patio which had sections that had become overgrown with moss. When they had completed the work on the patio, it looked as though it was recently installed. Based on their work, I would definitely use Garden Guru again.
Ben transformed our cruddy garden into a beautiful frontage for our house in the course of a day. Worth every penny and a very professional and personable guy to boot. Would recommend to anyone needing lawn service of any kind.

Yard Yogi did an excellent job of cleaning up the extensive weeds and overgrowth, as well as trimming multiple shrubs. They were extremely responsive, professional and polite. A tad on the expensive side, but money well spent for all the work they did. Note--i have used Ben & his team before, but dont usually post any reviews. Posting a good one now because they earned it.

Alex and crew did a great job on my yard. I had a few medical issues and fell behind on the usual maintenance and care the yard needed. Yard yogi trimmed shrubs and trees, renewed mulch, weeded the landscaping, took care of flower beds, edged the driveway and sidewalk, and completed other yard work. They were punctual, did what they said they would do and completed the job in a timely fashion. I will definitely have them back soon when needed.
We had the opportunity to work with Ben and his team for the first time. Saw the Yard Yogi sign in our neighborhood and called for a price. This is a Vernon start-up company by two very nice, hard working young men. I hired them for a much-needed clearing and re-work of my perennial gardens, removing some bushes, overgrown plants, and then mulching the areas. I was very pleased with results.

Garden Guru has done work for us over the past two years. This include the removal of old and dated shrubs, talking over the design and suggestions for new plants, edging, and a completely new and and most pleasant look. This company did landscaping for the front of my yard. I cant give enough stars of how my curb appeal was popping. His assistant was so good at his job also and he put great effort to please. And i might add I was not an easy to please customer. Overall I would recommend them to everyone I know and I am very happy with the end results. A1+++++
