I have been a customer for 15 years and have used several different services that Naturescape provides. I have been very pleased. If for some reason I am not satisifed with the lawn treatment, they have been great about coming out and taking care of any problem, which has not been often. I have highly recommended to my friends and family.
We use Naturescape for fertilization and mowing services, and I feel the need to give kudos when they are due. Yesterday our service tech Jake came out to mow our lawn, and I must say he did a fantastic job. He was at our property for a good long time, and mowed, weedwacked all around, and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. He even got rid of the weeds between our cement skirt and asphalt. We've always had good service before but in my opinion this was exceptional. Sometimes in this day and age service can seem to be on the decline, but in this case Jake was totally on the ball. I just wanted to say thank you again Jake, it is very much appreciated!
***Naturescape does one hell of a great job! Matthew Hansmann one of the landscape specialists is very thorough and leaves detailed notes and a brochure of the application that was completed. They're very good with com municating and responding to calls and text messages. Lastly there pricing is half the price of True Green and Bio Lawn. Kudos to the St. Paul Naturescape office. I have had this lawn service for years and they keep getting worse. My lawn was destroyed last year and they keep making promises of what they are going to do to fix it and ........haven't heard a thing. Now we're heading into full blown summer and it will be too late. Do NOT recommend them at all
We have been using their mosquito spraying service for several years and it works well. We had a large event at our house which was the week before our normal spraying schedule. They were able to reschedule our spraying so it was complete right before our event.
I received a note in my door that a lawn service was performed at my home; however, the treatment was not for my property / not my address. I called to address this with Naturescape and the customer service rep told me to throw the piece of paper away and not worry about it. My dog would be fine to be in the grass in 24 hours. This was 6/8/22. Upon further reading of the pamphlet that was left in my door, the treatment that was performed on my lawn kills clover which I am actively planting in my yard. I DO NOT USE HERBICIDES PURPOSELY. I am very disappointed that this service was performed without my authorization. I called Naturescape again and the manager promised to address it in two weeks once we could see that all the clover was dead. Two weeks go by, and I call again to see how he will address this. He now promises to lay clover and take it to corporate. It is now 8/16/22 and no one has come to lay clover; I have not heard back from Naturescape; and I've had to look at a dead lawn for months. Terrible customer service. Good product for the wrong person.
I had Naturescapes come out to do Fall aeration. They came with a large riding aerator. I get they are efficient and fast, but they are heavy. They ended up ripping up 350 square feet of my lawn in the back yard, leaving large skid marks and track marks. The guy who did the aeration had thrown an extra handful of grass seed and that’s all. This has displaced my grass and now leaves the area vulnerable to top soil runoff resulting in my loosing lawn area to the hill that goes into the woods in my backyard. This happened Last year in a 2 square foot area which has now turned into a large area of erosion. I've sent an email with photos to the company, and called once a week and have not received any phone calls or contact about fixing this situation and it’s been three weeks. The woman on the phone sounds nice and voiced that she will bring this to a manager but there has been no follow through. Moreover, the woman told me a manager came out to survey the damage. I was not notified of him coming to my house to do this and have not heard from this manager. Don't work with them. They don't bring the right equipment for the job survey their own work.
I have used Naturescape for 7 years now and they have done a very nice job. I just signed up for another year. Updated. See below Terrible service. They committed to mowing my lawn begging July 1st. I called to check on the service on July3rd, they said they don’t mow in my area. Updated The owner called me and agreed this was not ok. He made arrangements for my lawn to be mowed as originally promised. I upgraded to include lawn treatment. They made it right.

Damaged the siding on my garage with their aerator and decided it was best to drop me as a customer instead of paying for the repairs. When I was their customer, we requested a notice so we could make sure the kid toys were picked up and the dog was not in the yard. With multiple requests, that never happened once.
I been using Naturescape at my old house , also when i moved to new house . to me they are the best company to hire , i have 3 services lawn care bugs and mosquitos spray and lawn mowing . they do there job perfect , specifically Jake , he is really good hard working employee . i strongly recommend

I could not believe what a fabulous job that was preformed by Christopher McMillan!! I was so impressed, I caught myself with my jaw opened! People call me too picky-ha! Worth every penny having my lawn cleaned up this fall.

We have used Naturescape services with three different houses and have always had great service. We do the 5 visit seasonal lawn service and have always been pleased with the outcome. Whenever we ve had issues (and not many over 13+ years) they are very responsive. The value for service is excellent!
Our yard has improved immensely this year despite the extremely dry and hot summer. The customer service team (Vivian) is amazing, so helpful and kind. This is our first time using a service and I wish we wouldnt have waited so long, worth it!
After the dry summer I had brown patches in my yard, then received a flyer from Naturescapes South St. Paul office about over-seeding. Ive used these guys for 20+ years for lawn fertilization and an occasional aeriation, but never over-seeding. About 50% of my lawn was brown so I asked them to double-up on the brown spots. They took my request, got the order in the queue and did the job in about a week. Even followed my instructions to a T. Now my lawn has a fighting chance to recover from this dry summer. Bought our house 3 years ago. We were THAT house with all the weeds. After the first year we contracted with Naturescape (2 neighbors use them). Within the first year, our weed problem was reasonably under control, and this year our lawn is beautiful!
We have had Naturescape for many years to fertilize, spray for pests and maintain our trees and shrubs. We have 2 ash trees on our property and have been treating for Emerald Ash Borer. Both of our trees were just diagnosed by an outside arborist with the disease as Naturescape only has technicians. Both need to be cut down. Their treatment does not work.
These people are the worst plow jobs and landscaping services I have ever seen I give them a negative five
NatureScape and their team did a phenomenal job doing a Spring Cleanup at my house. The yard looks great, they went out of their way and took extra time to make sure everything was cleaned up. Have had nature scape now for a number of years, quality has been declining last couple years. When they do the granules you are lucky if you can find any along side drive way or side walks look hard to find any in the yard. After the first application have many dandelions I have been spraying my self for over a week, called them they said put you on a ASAP list 9 days ago. Probably my last year with them.should have better service for almost 300.00 dollars.
We have used the South St Paul locations for many years. Our lawn has never looked this good since we started to use their complete service. Their service from the office to the field service staff is very friendly and very accommodating. We have also given good reviews tour neighbors and we have one that also uses the service now.
One of my favorite places to walk and spend time with my family. Clean and lots if parking! Fishing is great for the kids!
Great Work by the Techs! Acreage out here in the Country, and In Home Licensed Daycare, so we need alot done.....so wonderful to enjoy the Outdoors Without Mosquitoes! Very Satisfied with their work! They dont get all of your lawn, you never know when they are coming, and customer service is sub-par.
WARNING when you pay for Aeration with Over seeding. They only seed 1 pound per 1000 square feet - which is not the recommended over seeding, so I dont know how they can advertise that. All of the overseeing sources I can find suggest over seeding should be 2-5 pounds of seed/1000ft square (23-60 grams/ square meter) depending on the product you are using. I called and told them that I could not see the seed - I searched my lawn and could not find a discernible grass seed. I specifically requested and paid for extra seed along hills and around flower bed which they did not do from what I can see. They also missed patches of the yard when aerating. This could have been because they didnt knock when they came to the house and ask where the yard starts and stops. They just came and went unannounced before I could discuss the yard. After discussing this with them on the phone they said they will come back out to do the aeration on the missed yard, and look at the seed. We will see if its amended. If not I dont recommend their services.
They haven t performed any services after cashing our check a month ago. I had to call to make the first appt and no one showed up. I called a second time and no one came then either. I called a third time and was told we did not mark our underground sprinkler heads. They have been marked with wrought iron stakes and wooden stakes for two weeks now. We keep getting put off each time WE have to call! I highly recommend that you do not deal with this company !!!!!!!
Kate only does 1/3 of my yard, or skips mowing all together. The admin charges me full price for biweekly mowings that are not taking place properly. No one bothers reading my comments when I pay my bill on line. Mark doesnt care.
We switched to this company years ago- ?5 or so- after being with another service where our dandelions were still flourishing. They have been Amazing!!!! They give us notice to make sure our pets are inside, stay clear of our multiple flower beds, and the person applying truly wants to make sure we are satisfied. This spring we noticed a problem in our back yard- damage from winter. Consulted with the two main garden centers in our area- both said we should go ahead- no problem. Finally emailed customer service to be sure and we were given correct information- plus a plan on how to make our lawn repair project work! Timely responses- we could not be happier!

We have been long time customers of their 5 visit program. They take care of the timing and they do spot treatments on demand. Their prices are very reasonable. Try them for one year and discover for yourself.
I have been with them for several yrs. They said satisfaction guaranteed, however after I emailed them about my disappointment, I didnt receive a response. I informed them I had weeds and the service was poor, but didnt get a response. Do not use them....
Just finished talking to one of the kindest ladies you could meet. Known her for about two years. A now former customer of naturesape. This companies inability to respond to customer s simple request due to lack of organization is pretty sad. Did not fix the problem. As well as their inability to show concern for customer retention. 1 star. With ample time customer requested application not occur as her and her husband needed to take care of leaves. Application was made overtop of leaves, no explanation, no refund, no notes, just the expectation of payment. Request to managers at office and company went no where, other then the expectation of pay. This is a customer of 5+ years of prepaid service, lost to their negligence.
Abysmal service. We contracted this local branch of the company to provide lawn care services for our Highland Park home toward the end of the year, which included two applications. The first application was not complete, but passable. On the second application, however, my wife had witnessed that the technician had not even entered our back yard, let alone sprayed it. I canceled the service post-haste and will be going with another provider in the spring. EDIT: The second application was done immediately after a torrential downpour. As I amend my review, rain is falling again. Go figure.
We used Naturescape for our Snow Removal last year winter 2016-2017 Their service was of a very good. Always reliable and they even took care to hand sprinkle snow melt granules on my pathways which many service do not do.
We signed up for their service for the 2017 summer season which included the 5 Visit Lawn Program. We had not fertilized our lawn at all in 2016 and the lawn looked it. I was hoping a lawn service could green up our lawn, but sadly, no joy. Finally I purchase some natural fertilizer and applied it myself, which did the trick and greened the lawn right up. Maybe Nature Scape was just applying water to our lawn. Very disappointed in their results.
