David and his crew were fantastic. They did extremely high-quality work that is also beautiful. They took accountability for issues that arose and repaired them immediately and they were also really flexible as we added scope throughout the project. I would hire David and his team again anytime and would recommend inside out to anyone.

We had such a wonderful experience with David and his entire team for our backyard renovation. He created a vision for exactly what we wanted and was communicative and thorough throughout the entire process. The project was completed on time and within budget, and his crew is incredibly friendly and efficient. Our backyard is now an oasis we enjoy on a daily basis and we are super grateful to David and his team for all their hard work!

David and his entire team were absolutely fantastic to work with. I worked with him on two (2) large projects, one in San Francisco, one in Los Altos. Here are all the reasons why I'd highly recommend working with David and his team: - Very easy to communicate with: David was very responsive via email, text, and phone. He's a clear communicator and easy to brainstorm with to really capture your vision for your space. - Good design partner: David can fully design your space or he can also listen to elements you've thought about and incorporate those into the design so you may add your own personal touch. - High quality work: The work done on my projects was very high quality and the results were stunning and exactly what I wanted. - Stands by his work: After each project, David was super responsive to any final touches and/or fixes that needed to be made and he and his team ensured they all got done in a timely fashion. - His team is solid: I interacted with, and spoke to, David's team A LOT as we spent a lot of time together on these two projects. They were a joy to work with, very respectful and tidy, did great work, and even my little kids enjoyed practicing spanish with them and saying hello and goodbye each day :) I can't say enough about our lead, Eliel, who was an absolutely fantastic partner and worked very well with David and I. - No major issues: There were no major issues nor problems with either of the two projects David and his team completed for me. - Ongoing maintenance: In addition to installation, David and his team can handle your ongoing maintenance, which is wonderful given they know all the details of the plants, technology, materials, etc. that went into my/your project. - Very reasonable price: I looked around and got quotes and David and his team came in at a competitive price, which in combination with the high quality of their work, I'd go with them every time versus risking working with a contractor that could mess things up and create a painful experience (which I've experienced on past projects before I met David and began working with him and his team). Overall you are going to have a very nice experience with David and his team, you will get your money's worth and he will stand by his work, and the end result will be a very professional, polished, and beautiful space without any hassle or major issues. I'll be using David and his team from here on out for any project!!!

Inside out had an incredible vision and execution in turning a useless sloping tiny hillside of a backyard into a spectacularly constructed and planted usable yard space with attractive fence, benches, fire pit and room for people to congregate. It is gorgeous looking out at our plants every day as they helped us pick items that would flower throughout the course of the year. Additionally they maintain it very well through monthly visits.

David and his team stand out in terms of communication, attention to detail, and reliability. Working with them made our backyard project the most enjoyable construction process I’ve experienced. He and his team did consistently excellent work and were kind, responsive and thoughtful communicating with us throughout the project.

I asked Inside Out Landscaping to replace a fence for me. They did a splendid job, which led to a number of projects - building a Trex deck - repairing a crumbling retaining wall - leveling, adding soiling and planting - installing irrigation lines and lighting David and his crew are stellar! They communicated well, kept the worksite clean, prevented damage to existing property and executed on time. They dealt with parking and access problems with admirable patience, advised us on plants and maintenance, and worked through all weathers. Their work is doing extremely well now, the bees seem very happy! In the pictures, the deck was built by Inside Out, and the fence with the nice facing was built by Inside Out - the other fence was pre-existing. The gravelly bit in one of the pictures is on me - I haven't finished it yet!

We had an excellent experience with David and his team at Inside Out. He worked seamlessly with our landscape designers, giving us pricing for multiple options for our yard renovation and helping us figure out how to get the most out of our budget. David is a great communicator, very detail oriented and patient. The folks who did the work were courteous and thorough. Six months later, the plants are thriving and we are so happy with the outcome.

We worked with Inside Out on a complete (and fairly large) landscape remodel of our house. Despite intense rain and a multitude of challenging conditions, David and his crew worked tirelessly through it all to deliver an absolutely outstanding final product. Their attention to detail and pride in their work really shows, and they often went above and beyond where others would have cut corners. I highly recommend working with Inside Out, especially for anything slightly out of the ordinary.
