We (my family) have used TrueGreen for years and they ve been decent and even their customer service, but as of late their customer service has deteriorated so much that they aren t worth using. We had an issue with a bill and customer has been so rude in trying to help us solve this problem. Just trying to understand what is automatic billing vs what services you have to call to cancel has been a pain in the A** while you get rude customer service agents on the other side. Time to move on to another company ASAP and don t use if you guys want decent customer service.

I am very happy with the service done to my yard as it looks great and I have had comments from people about how nice my yard looks.

Very, Bad service I pay full amount just did two time service never on time and I cancel the service. They only refund half price for me. This is Very bad Service don t trust true green

Lawn looks great and the company associates /technicians are always happy to answer any questions you may have. They also keep in mind environmental aspects of their work and don t over spray their chemicals. Today s technician Nicolas was friendly and completed the service efficiently.

Very reliable. They give you reminders when they are coming. Doing a great job to approve my lawn.

We walked around all areas of my property and I pointed out the spots that were still bare even after the aeration and seeding. I was told a request will be made for more seeding to be done in the bare spots. Hopefully this will be soon as the leaves are starting to come down. I thought it would be today.

This is my first year using True Green. Results so far have been good. The Techicians always check with the homeowner to address specific concerns. The technician was on time, courteous, thorough and left the yard better than they found. Very happy so far. Only issue is I cant always get in touch with someone to schedule an appointment.

I had filled out a online form for more information. A rep from the South Plainfield office called me to discuss options. I didnt have the time, so I requested an email summary. He proceeded to explain that its too nuanced to send and email, and would rather talk on the phone at a later time. He asked when was a good time later tonight was to call. I wasnt interested in a phone conversation this evening, so I said no thanks, Im all set to which he responded idiot and hung up. So I guess Ill be looking for services elsewhere.

This is the most unethical service I have seen. They sell services at discount and start charging again bofre the full term is over. Prepaid for a year of service only to see charges for service within 9 months. Their call center executives just apologize and do nothing. Service sucks too have more barren patches on my lawn after they started.

Our tech Ouchenna was outstanding today. I was not home so am paraphrasing our experience from my wife. He let her know exactly what he was going to do and executed. We have a dog who is friendly but barks and howls anytime anyone is in front of house. Ouchenna howled back as he was finishing which my wife thought was hysterical. Being a former Trugreen employee of 17 years I feel it s really important to give a shout-out for awesome service. Great job Ouchenna! Stay away. They are great at selling, terrible at delivering. After a year with them with the complete plan our backyard looks terrible, full of weeds and moss. It was perfect before.

Isaiah even took the time to put my dogs toys on the patio because I unfortunately didnt get the email that he was coming until I had already left for work. I look forward to his follow up, we talked about getting a free Air-ration, since he does Airration, and I explained that the lawn has never been the same since TruGreen, burn my lawn years ago. He said he would put in for the request for later in the season, and check with his management for the free service, which would surely be justified. I did appreciate that offer. Great lawn care company!!!

At 10am 3/3/23, a TruGreen specialist arrived at my residence, which I became aware of through my Ring camera. I proceeded to observe the service being performed. One technician stepped out of the truck while the other remained inside. The technician performing the task walked halfway onto the property and then dropped the hose before heading towards the front door. He appeared to ring the doorbell, but I later found out he did not. I immediately called my wife, who was at home, and instructed her to go outside and stop them since they had not carried out any work. They were taken aback and got out of their vehicle. The other technician then emerged and informed us that the notes only indicated the size of the property. He was informed that the area he had sprayed was smaller than what was mentioned. The name of the technician in question was Reon. After informing Reon that we had been using TruGreen for the past three years, he seemed surprised and asked us if we had received service for both the front and back of the property. We confirmed that we did, and he then proceeded to apologize for the misunderstanding and promised to complete the job as per our agreement. After the technicians left, I contacted TruGreen and spoke with Joy, who tried her best to assist me and even consulted her supervisor for guidance. Unfortunately, they were unable to come up with a resolution at that time. However, Joy assured me that she would escalate the matter and ensure that the issue was resolved promptly. Joy read out the notes from the technician to me, and I noticed that they had worded it in a way that appeared to protect themselves.

They have turned my lawn from a dump into a yard again...

Was tired of trying to get weeds out of my grass as the amount of weeds kept increasing year after year. Anything I did or bought never worked so I contracted trugreen last season. So far this year the weed population has decreased quite a bit but the season hasn t started yet.

I complained that a month after the first service was completed we started seeing tons of clover and weeds popping up . I called and they sent someone out immediately 2 days later to retreat - I hope it does the job this time for good!

Kevin L. Spent the time to explain about the tree and the spray he does and process for which occurs on trees. Courteous, and explained the situation well. Appreciated his service under the circumstances the tree is going through and he applied the spray so we will see how it goes next from the treatment.

Wasted hundreds of money. Weeds are still lush. Then I pay attention. Last week Technician Mr. Jackson Ruiz showed up at my next door to spray from a hose connect to his truck. We sit at out sunroom watching, he left without do anything on my yard, and we got a invoice hung on door nob. I called the 800 number, the customer ordered a re-do yesterday. My wife said the same guy showed up said he already did the job, if he spay it again, the lawn will die. What a liar. What a company.

First service was spraying some general purpose weed killer without evaluating the situation of my lawn (the weed killer wasnt even the one my lawn needed). No one showed up for the second service. Called customer service, they said the service rep would call but no one did. Very unprofessional and not worth the money.

First time customer, my neighbor used them and I decided to give them a try. The first visit and application went great, the technician came to my door and explained what would be done and the cost at that moment. I chose the pay as you go, or per application option in advance when signing up. My last appointment was cancelled because I was not home, that was rescheduled. When the technician came he rang the doorbell and walked away. I came out and asked if he needed anything from me, he replied, No . The technician began to spray my front lawn and portion of my back yard. However, he completely missed an area in my back yard and in front of my house that is of decent size. Luckily I reviewed my cameras and saw the oversight. I wrote to the business through their chat capability within my account page and they re-scheduled another service to finish the process they did not do during this visit. During the service for the missed areas, the technician showed up, walked around the front of the house and never even sprayed. He was on his phone and just left, ended up marking the service as completed. They sprayed nothing, never even took the hoses out of the truck . I cannot recommend this company to anyone, the technicians do as they want and no repercussions. This was the same technician that missed areas the first time, clearly he does not like his job. Overall, completely dissatisfied with this company and their support, I cancelled my membership.

They have helped to restore my lawn from a weedy mess.

The representative Cordel took time to explain what was wrong with our lawn. He was mindful of our sprinklers and also suggested tree and shrub care. We learned a lot and will be staying with Tru Green.

I have a beautiful green lawn and Trugreen knows just what to put down to keep my grass looking good.

This is my first year experience with truegreen company, thats just terrible. I paid for the entire service in advance for 1 year. 7 visits of which 5 have already passed and nothing has changed with my lawn. the technician spends no more than 5 minutes on a visit. I will never recommend this company

Techs always on time and caring for my property. Professional workers and willing to answer questions and concerns when I have had them. Bird baths are scrubbed and cleaned daily with fresh water so there is no standing water.

Lawn aeration services from TruGreen are a must do for every homeowner. I did it myself (renting a machine from a local store) for years until I spoke with a specialist

I am a longtime customer and very happy with TG services. But recently , their call center is so bad that as seniors , we are tired . Someone cancelled our services without asking . We are very longtime customer. I want to talk to someone in NJ office but all calls are routed to call center . Hope NJ office see message and call me . Thanks for their response. I received a call from corporate office and they reactivated my services . Only issue is that I see insects and they told me that insecticide treatment is closed at this time . I lost 1-2 weeks because of the mess created by customer service representative who canceled my services instead of requesting re service for insecticide . Now my concern is how to get this done. May be hire someone else or do it myself after paying for treatments. I have trust in TG service and being a customer for a long time , hope local branch can help. Appreciate .

POOR SERVICE QUALITY - service person took < 2 min to treat 8000 SQ FT of land, I have reported it few times but there is absolute no improvement in their service and no one from Trugreen really cares. Unfortunately there is no way to upload CC TV footage of actual service done.

The job was done professionally but this work use have been done in early October at the latest according to all my research and professional websites

Customer service is very good. Just had aeration and seeding done and looking forward to the results.

I recently became a trugreen customer. They came to fertilize and were supposed to aerate and overseed. After 3 weeks, I noticed that there were a number of spots on my lawn that did not receive and seed. I called to let trugreen know and ask if someone can come for a few minutes to seed the areas of the lawn that they missed. They scheduled 4 times that they said they would come to fix their mistake and never showed up. The weather was sunny each day they were supposed to come. I would not recommend trugreen to anyone and I will be sure to get another service beginning in the spring. Disappointing.

My family has NEVER been so disrespected and disappointed by a company. I usually on leave positive reviews, but I am leaving this in hopes there is a change. FIRST, my fathers company uses this company for bug control, so he thought it would be beneficial to use them for our house to control the mosquitos. This was exciting because our family gets welts from those pesky bugs. The first application, the servicer did not show up and when we FINALLY got in touch with costumer service, we find out that he couldnt find out address, so he just did not come. When we finally got our first application, we had mosquitos still and asked them to reapply for free which is what they offered. They did. The next application was weeks later, many weeks later when they said it would be sooner. Again they did not show, stating they could not fit us in that day. That application did not happen until another week. At this point, summer was over. They then came out twice more within two weeks when we asked them NOT to and said we received all of our applications. The customer service online is impossible to speak to and you can almost never get through on the on the phone. The refused to give us our money because we paid in full in the beginning or back transfer our applications to next year. This was truly a terrible experience. You get what you pay for.... spend the couple extra dollars for a better service.

In my initial talks with the Trugreen salesman, he assured me that my lawn would be in much better shape by using their services. My lawn had many different types of weeds last fall. I aerated and over seeded at that time. Trugreen started in the Spring and it is now fall and my lawn lawn still has the same amount of weeds it had at the end of the weed growing season last year. Their service made absolutely no difference. I spent hundreds of dollars for nothing. They are terrible. Do not use this company.

Service this season has not been good. The technicians are not putting down the proper amount of product and they expect you to pay full price for less than the full amount of product that you should get.

Excellent service and mosquito control makes it possible to enjoy my yard in the evening.

After a drought and no sprinklers most of the lawn was brown. After rain and TruGreen treatment 80% came back. The remaining 20% needed serious attention. TruGreen gave ma a great price on aeration and seeding. After the application I was disappointed because so many spots were missed. I notified my rep and they came a second time no charge. This time they got everything and I am very happy. Thank you Alicia Lyons for making my Trugrreen experience 5 stars.
