Green Scene in South Elgin

We've worked with them for years now. They do our maintenance and helped with hardscape projects the last 2 seasons. Very happy and honorable folks to work with.

We are very pleased with the final results from Green Scene! From the moment we first spoke to Sergio to the completion of the project we could not be happier. He was extremely patient and very professional throughout the process. Since we weren't exactly sure of the direction to take, he offered his expertise to guide us along. Our front walkway replacement is such a beautiful entrance into our home. We are very pleased! Also, Pedro and Jorge did an excellent job as they installed each stone and paver with their personal care for perfection!

I have had Green Scene provide landscaping and hardscaping for me for two separate projects and I highly recommend them. Most recently I worked with Bob and Sergio and their crew. The project started with me asking for suggestions to give my home better curb appeal. Sergio measured the area and gave me excellent suggestions for plants and shrubs that would compliment the exterior of my home and thrive in the lighting and soil conditions. He listened to my likes and dislikes and drew up a plan that incorporated an interesting combination of plants and shrubs in colors and textures that look fantastic and bring a wide spectrum of color to my yard. At the last minute, on the day the plants and crew arrived for the install, I decided to have the steps to my front entry updated with pavers. Sergio and the crew adapted very quickly to this unexpected change in plans. Pavers were ordered, the old concrete was removed and the transformation had begun! The crew members are all friendly and polite. They kept the work area neat and tidy and worked diligently to get the job done to my total satisfaction. Green Scene has exceeded my expectations in terms of their responsiveness, the detail they included in providing a quote, their willingness to consider my preferences in the design, the professionalism they displayed from start to finish, and most importantly, the quality of their work. I would highly recommend Green Scene for any landscape or hardscape project.

Green Scene has been doing our lawn care for about four years and they do a fantastic job. They have brought our lawn back to life after the previous owners of our home let the yard go a little bit. This summer we finally got started on our patio. Green Scene did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier. They built a beautiful patio with a fire pit and amazing landscaping surrounding it. We definitely recommend to anyone looking for basic lawn care or a bigger job for their outdoor area.

I live in a 2 BR house with a small yard. In the past, I've hired someone to do a fall cleanup and it has always been around $200. I hired Green Scene last fall to do a fall clean-up (mostly raking). They sent six or seven guys. It seemed like one was training the others. Some stood around the whole time and did nothing. They did an OK job and billed me $400! I called their office and asked them how they came up with that amount and they said they "charge what the market will bear". I know I should have gotten a quote ahead of time. I just assumed it would be about the same as other years. Caveat Emptor!

I had a very large over 30 ft silver maple tree removed yesterday. The men that came to my door were efficient and did a fantastic job Their professionalism was outstanding. I would recommend Russel, Hosa, and Steven they were great the were courteous. The cleanup at the end of the day was impecible . They took thee time fill in any damage from the large branches falling. We were amazed the were like a fine tuned team each person knew exactly what to do without even speaking

Have used Green Scene in past years and they have done great work. I have tried to contact them twice this year and can't even get a call back. Guess they are not interested in repeat customers. 8/22/18 Update - This review is not a mistake. Green Scene did come out and give a quote for some work, but indicated that they would need to contact me back to get the full quote completed. After a full week, no contact from anyone at Green Scene on the updated quote. I have contacted them to let them know that I will not be doing business with them.

Just had a patio installed, they did a very nice job, quickly and professionally. And kudos to Sergio our sales manager, who was helpful on all of our questions, and who was always quick to respond with text messages. I’m sorry to hear some of the negative reviews, but our experience was great.
