The guys did a great job. Cleaned up everything and carted it all away. I am vert pleased and will be working with them again.

The guys were very professional and know what they are doing. There were a lot of obstacles (i.e. house, garage, well, shed, and power lines) to work around and nothing was touched. Great Job!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this service!

We used Barretts Tree Service to remove a few of our trees, including one that snapped and was hung up in the branches of other trees directly over our neighbors new garage. The team was amazing! It is very clear that safety, for not only the crew but also those around them, is important to this company! The crew we had was very polite, professional and efficient. They managed to move their large machines onto our yard and our neighbors yard without creating as much as a tread mark. They even cleaned up all of the debris (including pieces that had made it on to the street)! It was like they were never here! Fantastic experience, I would highly recommend this company, and will use them for any additional work needed in the future!

A big thank you to Leslie for fitting our project into the schedule on short notice. Joe the crane operator called before he left for our jobsite, he wanted to make sure that we were ready for him before he arrived. My company Complete Demolition Service LLC needed a crane to lift structural steel from a building we were selectively demolishing at Milton Caterpillar in Richmond, VT. Joe brought the necessary rigging we needed to get the project finished quickly and safely. He was helpful in showing us how to rig the beams prior to the lift. His skill with the crane was precise and made sure that the structure we were saving was not damaged with the materials being removed. He placed the steel beams right where we asked him to. We had one beam that wasnt releasing easily, he was able to coax it away from the building without damaging an adjacent block wall. A big thank you to the team at Barretts for making us look like rock stars on this important demolition project.

Barretts Tree Service has been great in the past, but recently has gone down hill. Terrible customer service and the person was extremely rude on the phone. Approximate wait time for stump removal was 6-8 weeks - happy to be patient and wait, but its been 12 weeks and still, the receptionist was extremely rude and just hung up the phone when I was trying to get a better date for stump removal. I would not recommend this company or use them again.

Signed a contract in mid- May for tree and stump removal. After some hounding the crane crew did a great job removing the trees in July. Still waiting for the stump removal to even be scheduled. The people are really nice but Barretts seems to have lost something when they were sold to Savatree.

Joe, Bryant, John and the rest of the crew have been nothing but incredible to work with. They cut huge oak and maple trees in my backyard, that were incredibly hard to get to. They provided very good value for the amount of work that they did, work that some companies didn t even want to quote for. The staff in the office were easy to work with, and I would definitely recommend them 10 out of 10 times.

They showed up within 8 hours of calling on the crazy December 23rd wind storm. Tree was leaning on the neighbors house and they took care of it quickly and safely. Awesome job!!

December 23rd, we were devastated with a hurricane force windstorm, downing a massive amount of huge pine trees. Barretts came the next morning as an emergency run to clear the driveway. They came back in early January with heavy equipment to take down trees that would cause a threat, chip the debris, and haul away the huge logs. The teams were very courteous, worked massively hard and did an excellent job.

We had a very extensive tree removal project that Barretts handled with ease. Within the first few minutes of the tree removal process, I could not help but wonder, do the workers have time to remove all of the trees we agreed upon before the day is through? I watched the workers methodically removing trees, with precision and efficiency, and realized that these guys are the platinum standard for tree removal service, not to mention my concerns of completion time being a non-factor. If you have plans to do a tree removal service, I highly recommend setting aside a portion of your day to grab the best seats in your house, and watch the entire process/show. It is therapeutic and cathartic for the soul. But in the grand scheme of things, their commitment to customer service begins from the moment you contact them for an estimate. I was pleasantly surprised to see Joe LaRock on my backyard the same day I contacted Barretts. He patiently listened to all of my tree removal ideas and concerns, and even sent over an estimate minutes after pulling out of my driveway. Both Danielle and Leslie were really pleasant to work with, and responded to all of my questions in a timely manner. Without them, the tree service magic they perform would not be possible. Barretts provides exemplary customer service. Every person on their team exudes professionalism. I even had the pleasure of meeting BJ Barrett, a real down to earth guy willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the customer. I got a quote and schedule the work but they never showed up and never called to let me know why they didn t show up. When I followed up with them, they did a great job.

The only thing I that bothered me on the last job I had them do they removed wood that I wanted to have after they cut down the trees. They were in and out so fast I hadnt noticed some of the wood that was supposed to stay was removed.

Barret has been caring for my aging trees on Lake Champlain for some years. Most recently they removed an ancient, dying row of cedars and replanted with an arbor vitae hedge. The planting posed real challenges, but the crew took it all in stride. Great job, beautiful trees and a very pleasant crew!

Excellent service! I left for work with a dead willow tree in my yard and came home to find nothing but a neatly raked spot of bare dirt. Not only that, but they also took care of a pile of burdocks that I had cut down and piled in my driveway, while I figured out how to get rid of them. While it probably wasnt a lot of work to dispose of the burdocks, it was above and beyond expectations. I was also very happy with the overall price. Weve cut down trees on our property in the past and including hauling the tree away and griding the stump, its a huge amount of work. I was very happy to pay Barretts to do it, instead.
