They were closed for the holiday, but came in to open the store when I called! Fun gifts and super kind people.

Kevins Tree and Landscaping is terrific and I highly recommend them! I called from their ad in the Michiana Magazine. They came out with an estimate (the price was good) and the work was done a few days later! I had more than a dozen stumps and a small tree removed along with some tree trimming. They were prompt, friendly, professional, and did a magnificent job! The cleanup was complete and the spaces with the stumps were graded with topsoil and seed. Within a week the grass was up and covered the bare spots. I am very happy with their work!

Seriously, theres no way I can adequately express this, but Kevins Tree and Landscaping has worked minor miracles at our house. Miracles, I tell you! A couple years ago, they transformed the jungle-like front of our home into a rather idyllic scene. And this last summer, they helped us clear out an overgrowth of poison ivy and such in the back, further civilizing our property. Kevin himself is great, as is his team, and Im grateful we stumbled across them when we needed them. Check em out! You wont be disappointed!

I had called three different companies to come and give me an estimate, they would show up and then I would never hear from them again. He gave me a good price and they cleaned every bit of mess from the little sticks and leafs to giant limbs. There was no trace that they were even there they were very skilled and quick with their job. They will definitely be getting another call from me for more trees to get trimmed!! Kevins Tree and Landscaping has been wonderful! We had them quote us for an extensive job and found their price to be very competitive. Then, when one of the trees we had originally asked to have taken down came down on our driveway prior to their scheduled work day, they came out that day and cleared the drive. We are looking forward to having them back to do the rest of the work soon and would definitely recommend them to others!

My experience with Kevin Tree Service has been phenomenal. First Kevin Removed a large tree between houses that was the source of a lot of anxiety, and that was beautifully done. I had a tree fall on a neighbors shedd a few weeks ago. I called Kevin and he and his team took care of it almost immediately. I was extremely impressed and I look forwarrd to working with Kevin in the future.

Stepped out of the truck, took a glance at what she THOUGHT they would be doing then walked up, pushed the doorbell as she was already turning to leave then declined the job in a message to my wife. Thats ok, San Mar did it the same week and appreciated our payment. Their worker appreciated the $50 cash tip as well. Maybe next time take a min to talk with the customer and get the whole story before you decline the job. We ended up having San Mar take care of some tree trimming that totaled little over a grand a few weeks after that with their bucket truck. Guess thats what happens when you send your wife out to bid your jobs U asked why so there u go

A job well done. Took indicative to come a day earlier and avoid rain. Crew was very attentive to tree removal and clearing site of branches.

They took out a hedge in 20 minutes and then cleaned everything up. I was amazed. It would have taken me all summer to get that job done if I had to do it myself! They left the area cleaner than they found it. Thanks again for another great job!

Such a professional company. They took care of the huge tree that I needed trimmed in our front yard. They were friendly and gave advice to future possibilities that we might need to address. They explained what type of trees that we had in our yard and what kind of care that they might need. We used their services to take out some bushes and an island of rocks and stumps. Our yard looks so much better because of their quick and on time service. We will definitely use their services in the future.

I recently had a big tree cut down close to house, deck, fence and electrical wires. Was impressed on the workers that cleaned up the yard and had put down protection to the yard. These guys worked without breaks and only took one day including trunk removal. They are a group of hard working guys and would recommend then highly!

We had the best experience with Kevin and his crew. Made an appointment for an estimate and booked a time for the work to be done. They were there on time and I cant say enough about his crew and cleanup - they shaped and cleaned out the dead limbs of our two large oak trees and a silver maple. They were respectful of our property. We are so happy with the results that we are hiring Kevin to do some stone and landscaping work this summer. I wish I could give more than 5 stars - more like 10 stars!

Such a good tree removal business to call professional and very kind. One of our front tree was starting to fall due to the rain and snow storm and started making breaking noise I told them it was a emergency since it was also above my front porch and living room where my children hangout. They got here right away before the tree fell. I really appreciate them taking our tree specially during their busy time.

We had a very large tree removed from our front yard that was quite close to our house. They were incredibly responsive with a quote and immediately had all utilities marked. We had a large, diseased tree in our backyard that needed to be removed and quite frankly I was dreading the entire process. I called a number of different tree service places, but most were either too expensive or couldnt schedule us for another six months so we kept putting it off (and praying that the tree wouldnt come down in a storm). I saw an ad for Kevins Tree service earlier this year and gave them a call. He came out a few days later, gave me a very reasonable quote, and said he could schedule us within a week or two. His staff was so professional and helped us through the entire process. We were so impressed with the quality of the work, and the care his entire team took to leave our yard in better condition than how they found it. I would highly recommend Kevins Tree and Landscaping, youll be so glad you hired his team!

Kevin and his crew took down five 90+ year pines and a smaller river birch for me. They were prompt and professional. They were very careful as two of the trees were very close to the house. They were great at cleaning up and were cautious with my lawn and landscaping.

Tree down in our yard 3 mile from their office. Thought I would keep it local. Called and got answering service said they would call back in 2-3 days. Said they were 3-4 weeks out. Heard nothing in 24 hours. Called another tree service. They will be there next morning. 16 hours after initial contact. They lost my business.

A very impressive service. They showed up on time (actually a little earlier which was fine). They were friendly and got right to work. They finished quickly and then cleaned my yard to the point that I think it looked better when they left than when they arrived. Definitely first class work. I would not hesitate to use them again. We are very pleased.

I called this company for service to have a tree trimmed and to get landscaping. I called twice for appointments no reply. A phone service answered who said I would receive a call back...nothing.

Scheduled early in March to have some stumps hauled off and some wood cleared so we could build a garage in that area. After multiple no shows I received an email that they are no longer able to move forward with my project. So after two months waiting for them to show up Im now stuck with that.

Call to schedule an appointment to get an estimate to remove and trim several trees, Kevin showed up to perform the Estimate but never heard back from anyone after several messages left.

We had Kevin s take out 5 trees and numerous bushes. I will never have anyone else do my landscaping again. It took 2 days to do it all and Kevin was here 90% of the time. They did a great job cleaning up too. I could not believe how careful they were. The crew was so friendly and acted like they truly cared about our yard. We had him grind the stumps too and you can t even tell where they were. I recommend using this company for all of your landscape needs! And don t forget to offer the workers something to drink they are there for you!

I was a little worried as the bid was substantially less than 2 other companies. They arrived early and worked through the rain. Finished everything except part of the stump grind and agreed to come back. I had to email to remind him but he was out the next Monday and completed it. No yard damage and no damage to well the head that was only 18 inches from the 30 foot river birch trunk that was removed. Would recommend.

I had Kevin and his guys take down 2 very large trees over the corner of our house and grind out the stumps. They did a great job and got everything done in one day. They were on time and on budget! I sent them an email about getting a quote and waited a few weeks never heard from them. I decided to give them a call I left a voicemail they called back several days later and set up an appointment to come out the very next day. I sat around they never showed so I gave them a call and got their after hours person they said they would call someone right away and get back to me, it has been a week still nothing.

Kevins Tree Service was great! I had 5 dead pine trees between me and my neighbor that were starting to fall apart and needed to be removed before one of them fell on one of our houses. It was a bit tricky because of a weeping cherry we wanted to save and because all of this was adjacent to a very large maple tree in my neighbors yard. The crawler platform Kevin used was awesome! It didnt leave any tracks in my yard, got right into that tight space and then the guy who cut these down even took the care to drop each piece of tree trunk into a stone landscaping area between the trees so he wouldnt gouge our yard. When they were done, the clean-up was so good my wife couldnt tell they had been here except for the missing trees. They definitely went the extra mile for me. Very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

Ive used Kevins Tree and Landscaping numerous times in the past and they always do a great job. Show up when they say theyre going to be there and do the job right!

We had a very large tree that was close to the house encroaching on the foundation and needed to be removed. I hired Kevins and Im very glad I did. Kevin and his crew showed up on time and took the tree out in around 4 hours. They were professional, efficient and friendly. We have a very tricked out field system and they made sure not to run any equipment over it. Speaking of equipment they have the most efficient gear for residential work. They have a state of the art bucket lift and their stump grinder is the right size that wont tear up your yard. They did a thorough clean up job afterward. All for a fantastic rate. Dont pay too much for tree removal in the Michiana area.Call Kevins. I cant recommend them enough.

I do not write many reviews but thought it most appropriate to acclaim the professionalism and outstanding work of this team. My neighbor and I had discussed taking several very large soft maple trees down and we asked Kevin for an estimate which he promptly offered. Less than a week later ( they were delayed one day because of high winds), I am grateful that the work has been completed and both our front yards were raked and cleaned several times for debris. I was amazed at how diligent , organized and responsible the team was. Diligence, precise work, and expertise is the name of the game for this company. I personally dont write reviews but I have to with my experience. Kevin came out and gave an estimate promptly on taking down some very large dead oak trees and we decided to go with the quote. The crew came out and were very professional and thorough. The clean up afterwards was awesome! Great bunch of guys! Would highly recommend this company.

Kevin scheduled and came out very quickly for the walk through of our property to gather the necessary things to prepare an estimate. This was on a Friday afternoon... he stated he would send an estimate on Monday. I called every day for almost 2 weeks until I finally received an estimate. The estimate did not include everything we had discussed. It was also significantly higher (double) than our comparative estimates. I would not recommend this business AT ALL.

Kevin came out on a Saturday and gave us a estimate and we agreed on it. He said he would call Sunday to set up a day and time to do the work. Still waiting on the call almost a week later. Hopefully he will call and we can get the job done. :)

Kevin was professional and early for the scheduled estimate. He was very quick to verbally quote me on my various tree trimming needs. He left with the promise of an email quote to follow up. Thats where the professionalism and promptness stopped. Kevin went two weeks without emailing me a quote. It was only after I called his secretary that he shot me a simple, unprofessional email that stated a price for only half of the work we discussed. It was as if he had forgotten coming out altogether. When I pointed out that some of the work was missing from the quote he stated that he would need to come back out to estimate the work again and get me another quote. That was over a month ago and I have received no call, email, or visit from Kevin. This whole experience has been extremely disappointing. Kevin seemed like a nice and honest guy to do business with. Too bad he is so disorganized and unprofessional. Prior to writing this negative review I did email Kevin and give him one last chance to rectify the situation but he failed to respond.

Kevins tree service was prompt in coming to give us an estimate. This is where the professionalism ended. I kept having to call them 8 times in a month just to try and send a message to Kevin to call me but never did. I was trying to get on the schedule to remove my tree. Finally after about a month the secretary called and scheduled my tree service. 2 days before the scheduled removal it was pouring rain. The secretary called and we worked out pushing the service to Saturday since I took the day off work for the service to be performed. No problem. Then, they never showed. I took my fence and phone lines down to help them out but never showed and no phone call letting me know what is going on. If this company was 24 hours then they should have answered and returned my calls that I left wondering where they were at. 14 days later, they still have not called.

This is the most professional tree service (or just business service in general) that Ive ever seen. They removed 5 trees very quickly, ground out the stumps and put fresh dirt in that area with grass seed to boot. Very impressive! And, they were very reasonable. The Thorntons
