WOW, these guys were quick and extremely efficient. In 2 hours of heavy snowfall, they took down 4 or 5 trees, gathered ALL the limbs and brush, shredded the excess and left small logs for the fireplace, neatly stacked. I highly recommend this team!

Well he was 4 hours late to do a quote without any updates until I called them then stated they wouldn t cut the tree a certain way that would cut out costs on my end (another company said yes to do it) and it s been a few days since they showed up to do a quote and I haven t heard from them on what the pricing even is I ve already been given a quote from somewhere else that I contacted after a and b left my home The guy told me well you pay for what you get and if this is the service I m paying for I d hope it s free.

On one of the hottest days in Michiana, Nikki came out to power wash (all by herself) our entire white, oxidised gutters and down spouts. After she was finished it was like the OxyClean Commercial. Above & Beyond put holiday lights on 3 big arborvitaes next to my house. I just turned them on over Thanksgiving and already have gotten multiple compliments--best ever looks great--from neighbors and family. So glad I didnt try to break my neck putting the lights up. Well worth it!

Weve now used Above & Beyond for three large projects and after our last experience, I can confidently say that they live up to their name. It was a tough job with some unique challenges. We had somewhat of a rocky start, due to a few miscommunications on both sides. It was a situation that, if it were handled poorly--perhaps in hands less dedicated to customer service and high-quality work--could have fallen apart miserably. From my initial call with Courtney, through the consult with Caleb and then the completion of the work at my home, the team at Above and Beyond was friendly, professional and thorough. Caleb listened to my requests and I m very happy with the results!

This is at least the 3rd time we ve used Above & Beyond. They arrived late the first day and said they didn t have the equipment. The crew said they d be back at 9am the next day. By 10am three trucks were here. There was a maple to cut down, a mulberry trunk to finish cutting and 4 stumps to grind. There were 5 guys on the crew and they worked together well. Caleb showed up to inspect. It was his suggestion to have some trees at the retention pond cut to open up the view to the water. As the crew and equipment was here I agreed. That s the best part of the job! The only reason I didn t give a 5 star rating was because there was a lot of debris left on the lawn. They used a blower and racked but chipping is a very messy process. I didn t want large chips to harm the mower so I went around and cleaned up. But I would use them again - next time for landscaping.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Monday night storms deposited a large limb on our roof entangled in power line connection. Caleb had just begun some valuable father daughter time when he got the call. He drove right up with an amazing Semi Tractor and crane lift attachment. Lightning continued to the south and rain poured intermittently. Caleb worked diligently and with the precision of a surgeon, removed the limb. Being ever so cautious not to disturb our neighbor s lawn. Caleb told us that the tree really needed to go. We feared this as previous storms loosened 2 smaller limbs that had punched holes in our year-old roof. The city had trees down everywhere. We asked Caleb to expedite complete removal. Tuesday, a very efficient team with outstanding equipment arrived and removed the tree. The cleanup of the yard was amazing! Invoicing was sent by email and we used Apple Pay. The Above and Beyond Tree Service team did a great job this spring between rain and storms, taking down two trees in my yard. They used hard mats on the grass to prevent their trucks from making ruts in the soft ground. They took away the trunk & branches, leveled the grindings from the stump into the hole, and left the place looking like nothing happened. A good hard-working crew; they were great to work with. I will use them again.

No show at 1st estimate date. After high $ estimate, made appt. for work, and gave $420 DEPOSIT. Told June 21st. 9 AM, its now July, No response, tree is still there. They say they overbooked. They wont even call back after a refund of our deposit was requested. We are going with Paynes. They were $300 cheaper anyway!

Not the same level of service that we have had in the past.

Had two trees cut down and stump grinding. Very professionally done. Had no problems.

One day I came home from work and the tree was down. The next day the stump was gone and the ground had been filled back in. I suspect it would have been done in one day had it not been for a sudden afternoon storm. Very professional service and they took care to cause as little disruption as possible to the rest of the yard.

Very professional shrub trimming and thorough cleanup. Be advised, they are a busy company, but well worth waiting for.

Loved the work that Above and Beyond did at my home. The technician was extremely thorough, and my home looked better than new. He power washed the entire house, soft washed the windows, and detailed cleaned the gutters. My house looks amazing, and Ive had so many neighbors ask about their service. My home even smelled cleaned outside when they were done. Will definitely use them again next year and even have recommended to my place of employment.

The operators were very polite and professional. The oak tree was about 110 feet tall leaning half way up at 30 degrees with a portion half way up where a huge limb had broken off. They methodically removed limbs and the trunk protecting my sewer. I m very impressed.

10-2023 - My neighbor had additional work done this year, as well. The company drove heavy machinery and trucks into my yard leaving large ruts, tire tracks, bald spots, and compacted soil and grass. A professional company would have verified the property line and spoke with the owner to where the boundaries of their property lay to make sure to avoid mishaps such as this. They would have also used Lawn protection mats or extra care while turning and driving on grass. I had to put up caution tape along the property line to prevent trucks from entering. Shame! I cannot believe I am dealing with this company in this way again. 2022 - My neighbor was having work done on her property. The crew trespassed onto my property, tied ropes around one of my trees to use to take down limbs in her yard trampling my plants in the process. They did not seek permission to enter my property, nor to use my tree for support. This is not the way you do business. Unacceptable behavior!

Our Christmas lighting is beautiful! My only complaint is the red bow on our wreath is a little off center. However, I m a little bit of a perfectionist. Does anyone know what to do to get them to call you back? I emailed them on Feb 27 and even selected which days I would be available for a person to come out a quote the job. One of the days was March 5 th today and I still have not heard from anyone. I have emailed twice. Is there a trick to get them to answer you? So far not too impressed with their customer service. I ll update if I get an answer or can figure this out.

Had two very large trees cut down during a bitter cold streak in February. A & B was very responsive to the situation as we had to have our power disconnected during the process. Office staff was great to work with during the entire process. The crew members were courteous and patient with my questions and responsive to my concerns. I felt like they really cared about doing a good, safe, and thorough job. Equipment was modern and I appreciated their use of ground pads for the heavy equipment. This was not the lowest bid but I think I received a very good value. Would definitely use them again.

The part that was lacking for me was communication, as many emails and calls went unanswered, and when I finally did speak with someone, they made it clear they had seen my emails and not responded for some reason. Overall satisfied, but it was a slight struggle to get there.

I would have loved to continue working with this company but I could never get anyone to contact me if there were scheduling conflicts. I totally understand that emergencies happen and they may not be able to get to my house right away but they told me they were coming on a Friday, never showed or called. I had to call them and they rescheduled to the following Monday. Monday rolls around, no one shows up or calls, so I called. They said they could possibly be there later in the day on Monday or possible Tuesday. I heard nothing after that and no one ends up showing up on Monday. Tuesday comes, no one shows up. I call and am told at 2:30pm that they will be at my house in 45 minutes. 2 and a half hours go by and I heard nothing. All 3 days I was told I was to expect them at 9am as I was supposedly the first appointment of the day so by midday, when no one showed up, I would call to check in. Not very professional

They definitely live up to their name! Caleb was friendly and easy to work with. He helped us stay within our budget and still got our needs met NEXT DAY. The crew was efficient, organized, and friendly as well. Highly recommend!

Crew did a great job!

I had them remove remove a fallen tree and a couple stumps 32 inches around. They were a little booked up, but they managed to make it out my way and get it taken care of. I would definitely recommend.

They do a wonderful job with holiday lighting on our home! And it s awesome they store he lights for you so you don t have to manage that part either. We ve also accidentally cut a cord with our snowblower before and they came out and fixed us up quickly!

We ordered a memorial tree and, without realizing it, had it delivered to our house, which meant that we wouldnt be able to hire the nursery to plant it. Not sure what to do with this new tree, we called Above and Beyond, where the wonderful Michelle pulled some strings to make sure our new tree was in the ground within the week, even though its a very busy season for them and usually they require more notice. Were extremely grateful that Above & Beyond was so accommodating and very happy with their work. The tree is doing great!

I had a tree emergency, a massive limb fell on my house and because of the power lines overhead, took out my neighbors power. I called and talked to a nice guy on the phone, explained the situation, and he said he have his project manager call me back. Here it is, 48 hours later, and still no call..... 2 days!!! Too busy to at least touch base with a customer that has a 3 ton tree limb laying on my house......... I thought they had good reviews?.... or they all fake?.... well, this one is real, i assure you. My wife called another tree service that was out to the house in 3 hours and started working right away...

Quote was quick. Was told they were out about three weeks on the schedule. A couple days away from a month later I reached out and finally got scheduled. Guys came out and started working right away. Even pulled a small tree from my neighbors yard that she came out and asked them to do. Communication to get scheduled needs some work, the customer shouldnt be reaching out to find out if/when they are going to be scheduled, but otherwise very happy with the results.

Used Above & Beyond s power washing service. Started with an e-mail inquiry and quickly received a call with a firm date for someone to come out to estimate the job cost. Luke reviewed the entire large building and the quote was very fair. The property is in a high traffic area with lots of dust and the last time it was power washed was back in 2018. Office called to setup an appointment date and they were on time and ready to go. Took two workers about three hours to complete the job and the work was steady and not hurried. Overall there was significant improvement in all but a few locations mainly in the front of the property near the peak but consideration must be given that this was the worse and oldest siding so I m not sure there could have been increased improvement. It was noted because of the dramatic change in other areas. The staff was kind and considerate and I would have no problem recommending them to anyone.

I also will not provide 100% on any review as I believe there is always room for improvement and all businesses should strive to continually improve. For the consumer: You will not be disappointed with the services and communication from Above & Beyond for their tree services including stump removal. Having a challenging placement and large tree to take down, all three men on the team payed attention to details and practiced care to not damage surrounding un-movable fences and flower beds. I will call upon Above $ Beyond again if needed For Above and Beyond: No complaints. Thank you. Potential areas for improvement: Ensure that the teams at the site have read ALL the instructions and/ or the quotation. The client should not have to stop the men and tell them what was agreed to in the contract. In my case, I wanted all sections of trees with Ø6 and larger retained. In my mind I thought Ø3, but the contract listed 6, and I am sure the trees had more than what was left. The tree stump removal team and clean up crew were exceptionally patient with me and moved sections of trunks and logs to my requested area. They took care in removing not just the stump, but the outlying root system that raised above the surrounding ground. Kudos to these two guys. I enjoyed their attention to customer satisfaction. Consider for future jobs and consumer highest satisfaction filling in the impacted areas created by heavy fallen large limbs. These large divots if you will can twist an ankle and make for difficult lawn maintenance.

I called to get an estimate to remove a large tree and its stump. They came out the next day and looked at the tree. They gave me an estimate and explained, how they do it, in detail and the 1st appointment available was about 5 weeks out. After thinking about it, I called made an appointment, 6 weeks out. They arrived about 9 am as they said they do, went right to work, it took about 4 hours to cut it down. The next morning another crew came and pick up the logs, and did a clean up. I wish everyone would work the same at these guys did. Great work ethic. If I had another tree and some money, I would use them again.

Above and Beyond Services, Inc. is very professional from the front office to the people in the field. Quote was timely, I was updated on the scheduling, tree removals were amazing, tree pruning was excellent, and stump grinding was performed as requested. I had two pines and one very large soft maple removed, which took an entire day. The next day, the crew was back to trim seven trees. They walked us around to discuss how each tree would be trimmed. Two days later, another crew was back to grind the stumps and remove the large wood. Everyone we talked with was professional. I highly recommend Above and Beyond.

Never even called me back

Overall I was happy with the services that AB provided. I have a couple critiques that I think could improve their business. The estimation process was great. (June 30) The estimator was on time and quickly gave me the information I needed. I was satisfied with the price. He estimated 3-4 weeks to get the tree cut down. After 6 weeks and not hearing anything, I gave them a call. (August 12) They were able to put me on the schedule for the following week. I wonder how long it would have taken had I not called them? The tree service itself was pretty good. (August 18) They had a good group of guys out there that worked well together and kept the property clean. My only gripe is that they dropped large branches and wood which dented my lawn 6-8 inches and will require filling and new grass seed. I would have preferred these logs be lowered down to prevent damage to the lawn. The group did a good job of cleaning up the brush. I asked them to leave the large logs so that I could burn them myself. They did that. I did find several cigarette butts on the property which is not a huge deal but its a pet peeve of mine when people litter in that way, The stump was ground out 6 days later. It was done well. Overall I would recommend AB to a friend but I would caution against the damage to their lawn that they may encounter.

From my first contact through final invoicing, Michelle, Courtney, Clint, and The Crews were a pleasure to work with. They were prompt, welcomed questions, explained the process or next steps, and followed through with promises made regarding phones calls and paperwork. The quote, deposit, invoice, and payment processes were quick and easy. I would recommend the Above and Beyond team without reservation. In fact, two neighbors asked about getting estimates while the crew was on site as they were impressed by what they were seeing. On site, the crew was respectful of property and worked quickly and efficiently, and the clean up crew made sure the site was returned to its initial state. They did not have much to do in terms of this though as the work crew cleaned up the area very well. I am extremely satisfied.

I asked your service to come out and clean up some big brush piles that I have when they came out they didnt have the right equipment A few days later they came back when they left they left all kinds of debris and the job was not complete plus also left water bottles on my property when I called and sent pictures to your person in the office she said that she would send somebody out the next day to clean up the rest of the mess that didnt happen I guess you had downed vehicles 2 down trucks as when I was being told this went on for almost 4 weeks another moits another month finally you came out to clean up the rest of the job Is it still not a 100% bottles are still laying on the ground and theres tour up grass where the machine was spun around in my yard too is to load the Chipper Am I satisfied with the job no Have sent 2 emails asking for a discount for the untimely manner that this job was handled and I have heard nothing But I recommend you to someone no not exactly at this point but if things were corrected corrected then I would say yes they were staying up company and they corrected their mistakes

They were nice and came out super quick...I felt overcharged though. 285 for a guy to jump on my roof and pull a branch off my tree? I could of done it myself if I had a ladder that could reach up to my roof to be honest.

Last year Above and Beyond did an amazing job removing the canopy of my locust trees. This year they did a wonderful job cleaning and brightening my gutters. They are my go to favorites.

I got an estimate from them back in November of last year to do some tree trimming work. I got the estimate, but still wanted to shop around for possible better deals for the job. When I was unsuccessful in finding another company, I called them back asking if the original estimate was still good, or if they needed to come back around to re-evaluate it. The estimate person emailed me saying that the quote was still good, so I signed the contract expecting to get the work done by around mid to late summer (It was beginning of May when I signed the contract). After hearing nothing from them up through July, I gave them a call, and they gave the questionable excuse of We were actually just about to call you later today, I dont know how much I can believe that, considering thats too convenient of an excuse. When the guys came out to do the work, I was happy as a lark, figuring our trees would finally be trimmed back and we could manage our yard a little more. How wrong I was... One of the guys came to my front door, stating that they couldnt do the job because of an overgrowth of Poison Ivy (It wasnt grown to that extent back when i signed the contract..) I was livid when we waited so long to get this work done, only to be told no because of something that grew naturally on the Dead wood we were trying to get removed from our yard! When I called to complain about the situation, I was told that the owner would have to come by and take a look at the growth to evaluate it for himself. They scheduled for the following Friday from when the work was initially scheduled. I cleared my schedule, sat at home ALL DAY LONG, and got absolutely nothing, not even a phone call, from the owner regarding his status in coming out to do the job. They talk about how they go Above and Beyond but I feel they can learn what it really means to go Above and Beyond, because having worked in the service industry, Ignoring clients/customers unless they call you is NOT going Above and Beyond. I had high hopes for this company, and they let me down.

After getting a quote and paying the deposit I was assured service would happen within 4 weeks. After 4 weeks I called the office on several attempts and left a voicemail each time to know when the tree removal was scheduled so I could accommodate. Never have they picked up their phone or returned my voicemail or email.

Several weeks ago Above & Beyond started tree removal on my neighbor Pats property (approx. 09/31/2021). This very large & diseased/dead oak tree sat almost on our property line and was constantly having large branches falling down during high winds or heavy wet snow causing damage to both of our homes & lawns (so glad this tree is now gone) thanks to the Crew that did a very professional job. Want to give special credit to the bucket operator on the scissor lift Mike. He calculated his every move with extreme precision and @ the end of the work being completed...there was slight cosmetic damage done to my fence & back of my house. However, here is where I also give special credit to Michelle for making sure repairs on my property were taken care of immediately after the job was done. Another special credit goes out to Grant who made those repairs and made it look like nothing ever happened. The ground on my neighbor Pats property suffered some damage from the weight of the machinery during this tree removal because of the ground being soft from excessive rainfall prior to the work being done...However, after all debris was cleaned up & removed...Above & Beyond also took care of the damage to the ground by having another crew come out and filling damaged areas with fresh dirt & grass seed. Although my neighbor Pat was the one who contracted this job with Above & Beyond and not myself...It still benefited me having this tree removed & I will be giving her a portion to help out with those expenses. In summary, this company is very professional & I strongly recommend them if you are in need of tree removal. I contracted with Above and Beyond to have Christmas Lights installed on my house. They were hard to reach and always had an excuse as to why they werent able to make 3 scheduled appointments. They were very unprofessional and after waiting till 3 days before Thanksgiving and still no lights, I asked for my money back. I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants something done in a timely and professional manner. Thanks but no thanks..

They came two weeks earlier than they had scheduled me. I had a rather large tree and it took some time to get it down. They had to come back and clean up a bit more but like I said it was a large tree.

We signed a contract in August 2021 for one days labor for tree trimming, no heavy equipment needed. it is December 2, 2021. The work has not been scheduled or completed. Initial company responses were that there were bigger jobs before us. No longer are calls and messages answered or responded to by the company. My deposit has not been returned. I would NOT recommend this company if you actually want your work completed.

They came out immediately when I called and let them know that I received my second notice from the city. I had difficulty with the service they use for financing and they helped me immensely with settling things on that front. When their crew came out, they not only completed the job I payed for, but helped me clear my steps of leaves and ground an extra stump!

In addition offered an estimate for another tree. The arrangements for service were completed and accommodated my schedule. On the day of service the crew arrived as scheduled. I tried calling other tree companies, but it was difficult finding tree service that would actually show up and even give me a quote, but Above and Beyond took initiative and reached out to me instead. While Above and Beyond did take down our tree, there were so issues that keeps me from giving more than 3 stars. First meeting with A&B was late September 2020. We were given an estimate that was $1,000 more than the other 2 companies from whom we got estimates. We chose to go with A&B because the salesman told us they would protect our lawn with wood boards to drive the machinery on everything would be cleaned up afterwords. We were given a date of mid-November. Just after mid-November we had not heard from them so we called. We were given a new date of December 1. When no one showed up on that date we called again and were given a date of December 17. We insisted that was far too long to wait. Later we received a call that they would be here in December 7. They came that day and got right to work. There were no boards put down to protect the lawn. We questioned that and were told it wasn t necessary, that the lawn would not be damaged. They worked quickly and were done by early afternoon. Unfortunately the lawn had huge divots and holes with the turf dug up and was a mess. They also damaged our neighbor s lawn. When we questioned the workman he said when cutting down limbs that big you will always have damage, just fill it with top soil and grass seed in the spring, it will be fine. We called the original salesman who offered to come out and repair the lawn. They came and fill the holes with soil and seed. It was still lumpy and messy looking. Bottom line: everyone we had contact with was courteous. The work was done. They did not do the work timely. They did not keep contact with us when dates changed. They did not protect our lawn as we agreed they would. Had we known this would be the result we would have gone with a less expensive tree service. They were more average than above and beyond.
