Thought out the process you opened and closed my gates, after you placed documents on my door handle, you exited the yard leaving the gate wide open. I have two dogs and they will exit through that back gate if given the opportunity, twice youve left the gate open when done, is this a trademark? Or plain tuckered out from opening and closing through out your process? Please correct this method, Ill be responsible as usual and check 1st, my next option is to lock the gate, then easy access wont be available to all.

Green grass free of weeds

This year has been the best with Tru Green. No more crabgrass and big lawn looks like a Green carpet. Technicians are consistently here on time with only 2 cancelations. Also consistently the same Technician.. Their new management has made a huge positive difference. Even their help desk people are really helpful and responsive.

My experience with TruGreen has been very positive. Allen P came out today, he was very nice and professional. I look forward to him getting my yard in neighbor envy shape.

Called to have my services cancelled after receiving a call that a technician was coming to treat my lawn. I was confused why they were coming because I only paid for a subscription for last year. Spoke with a representative to have services cancelled and thought everything was settled. Wrong. About a month later I received another call stating that a technician was scheduled to come treat my lawn. This time when I called the representative said they could see that my previous call was logged and they were unsure as to why my subscription wasnt cancelled then. They promised it would be cancelled this time but just to make sure nothing happens I have blocked trugreen from charging my credit card. I will not be using their services in the future if this is how they operate. Sneaky and unprofessional.

Dustin arrived today as planned. I called following a scheduled appointment the other day because I didn t think anyone serviced the yard. When he came back he said he ran out of stakes for the yard sign and the printer wasn t working for the invoice, two of may signature signs for service. He said he d be happy to treat it again just to be safe. I appreciated the gesture. Dustin sprayed for weed control and did a great job! I appreciate the service and attention to detail.

The new text that tells when trugreen is arriving helped me to connect with Glenn H. I told him my 2 trees were not doing well in the front. He spoke with the supervisor and they did another fertilization and told me to put a water hose on the roots of the trees because they needed water!! I was so pleased Glen responded to my concerns!!

Had our first service today. Customer service was unable to tell me what time my lawn was treated. Because of this i have to keep my pets and family off the lawn. The smell is horrible. Not sure if it is really worth it.

This is a re application of weed spray. I wont know the quality until it works. I will have to reseed a large portion of the yard where the weeds had taken over so I hope this application works this time.

My yard was too dry and hot for the pellets to penetrate. This should have been scheduled for a different day. I have lots of pellets sitting on top of my lawn. Very disappointed.

Great service and a rare sight to see someone that takes pride in their work and give you quality service. One month into the service and TruGreen has supported in every way possible.

my yard looks amazing

I wish zero stars were possible. I have had nothing but issues all summer and I stupidly gave them all Summer to make it right. Where to start... they say they showed up when they didnt. I have security cameras that prove otherwise. My lawn looks worse from their treatments than it did before. They charged me for aeration and seeding but there were barely any cores in my lawn after and never any new seed sprouts, even after following their directions for aftercare. They never do what they say they will, dont hold up to their green lawn guarantee, bad customer service, they lie, and they charge more than they said they would. I dont even think that covers it all. I mean Ive spent hours of my time dealing with them. They should be paying me.

So I wanted to sign up for a service i could just pay as I go and cancel when Im done. This was fully explained to the employee I spoke with whos name is Warren im told. He assured me that he could get me taken care up amd then proceeded to sign me up for a subscription that would cost me about 600 dollars to cancel early. They have been spraying since April and I still have weeds and ants all over. They refuse to even acknowledge what they did. I have ring cam footage of them pulling up and sitting in the truck then leaving. I cant warn people enough about trugreen. Zero satisfaction and the underhanded lying sales people. Ill be taking everything I have to small claims. Be very very careful dealing with these people. I would work with one of the locally owned lawn care businesses instead. Update. I just got a call telling me I needed to update my payment method and when I told them I wanted to make sure they didnt come out to my property anymore she told me I couldnt cancel right now I have to do it in the month window that my service ends or it would auto renew. I told her I def did not want this and she basicly told me too bad. This is underhanded and a ta tic to try and lock people into paying them for services they dont render half the time and destroy the lawn the half that they do. Its clear from other reviews that this is a joke of a company that believes it can take advantage of you.

I ended up having to spray the weeds myself as TruGreen just couldnt seem to kill them all.

Awful company and service. I used them for 2 years and although initially they did a decent job- after a few months they simply stopped showing up. They would send me notifications that my lawn service was done on a particular day - but no one ever showed up. This happened multiple times. We were home all day during times that the company would text us your lawn has just been serviced (or something to that effect). When In reality, nobody even came. (We have a very large lot and would not have missed seeing a person, walking around the back yard). I reported this to the office, and was promised a free service - but again they didn t show up, even after several more phone calls. This was 2 years ago, and I am still getting phone calls and mail requesting my business. I tell them every time to take me off their calling list. But they just keep calling. It is obvious that they have kept zero record of the issues I reported.

Cancelled all services with them last year and now magically they re back and I m once again being charged for services I ve already cancelled. Update: Still awaiting account cancellation after emailing both the email they gave me and their normal customercare email, also am still getting charged in the meantime for services I no longer have requested. Review has not changed and would highly not recommend starting with them for any service.

What started as a decent experience has ended very, very bad! Do not get involved with TruGreen! The final straw was being charged $200 for aeration and seeding when they did less than half of my yard! They didnt even attempt to do the back yard but had no trouble billing for a full job! The yard has never looked this bad! We will go back to doing it ourselves! Stay away from TruGreen!!!

It was going well till o got a new tech then i was home one day an actually watched what they do and was appalled at the sevice so im cancling this for sure the tech wasnt even looking at what he was doing it was like a no look pass application!! I can do better than that in my sleep

Depends on who you get.

DO NOT use TreGreen. I hired them to aerate, over-seed and fertilize my yard in the Spring. They never showed up to aerate and over-seed, but they came out monthly to fertilize. Yet, charged me for everything. I contacted them to complain, they agreed to aerate and over-seed in the Fall. They came out and aerated half of my yard and then never applied seed. So I contacted them again demanding my money back. They refused to give a me a full refund. So contacted my bank to dispute the charges, they agreed with my bank to refund me in full. They provided me the refund and now they are threatening me with collections for the money they refunded. Below you can see how good of a job they did seeding my yard.

I emailed March of 2021 for them to stop service because they didnt really help our lawn for the whole summer of 2020. The day after I emailed them, when I got home from work, I noticed one of their technicians had serviced our lawn. Because they still had my payment info, they charged us. I made a call the day after that and they said they never received my email and never offered to refund my money...

Terrible service!

We had another company for the year prior. We were not satisfied with the progress on the lawn, so since I used to work for True Green (back in 1990, lol so no favors there), I called them. We have been very impressed with the way our lawn has gotten better. It is more green, more lush, and many of the bald patches are being filled in. We are very happy with the service. Update: The technician is always prompt. They show up in a clean truck, with a nice clean company shirt. They look professional and answer questions if we have them. They let you know what they did, how much product they used, and then leave you care instructions to let you know how much to water the grass, when to mow.

I would not use this company at all. They were very unprofessional and did not complete the services I paid for. I was treated horribly by this company.

One of your drivers just tried to run me off the road on State Line Road. He then turned on Adams Road and then onto Hickory Road in Mishawaka, Indiana. When I called the company, I was put on hold for a 45 minute wait time. Is this how your company treats the community? Shameful!! I should have called the police instead!!

1) Although I let them know that I had an invisible fence for my dog and pointed out the area, they cut the wires while performing core aereation. Trugreen the took no responsibility and had me arrange and pay for repairs. 2) signed up and pre-paid in March for fertilization package. It s now June and I have yet to be serviced. Crabgrass has long germinated. What a waste 3) Cannot get in touch with local office and call center wait times are consistently 30 to 45 minutes. Once you get the call center, they just read the script and are totally worthless. I would rather treat my own lawn than deal with such an incompetent company

You put weed killer on but the weeds are looking very healthy yet!!! Please do it again...

I caught them on camera not doing my lawn when they said they were there. I have more weeds in my yard now then before I started using them. I don t recommend them to anybody. I take pride in my lawn and I m embarrassed this year. I don t want this to happen to anybody else so stay away.

Sprayed for mosquito control there is no difference what so ever. Tried to get a hold of them through phone and email and they are not responding!

High pressure sales tactics on older people, and they dont even do a good job from what I have seen

Awful customer service experience. They schedule services without your knowledge. You cannot get a hold of anyone from customer service even when you call the local number. They will answer your call only if inquire about a new service. I told them specifically to come on a certain day and they arrived three days early without any prior warning. Then they scheduled a seeding and aerator service without my consent. If you read this and still use their services then you get what you deserve.

This company does not care about its customers. I have been a customer since 2008, and their applications in 2020 and 2021 were inadequate and expensive. They do not stand by their commitments. Buyers beware - if you don not take their full complement of services, they will NOT follow up on poor quality

They killed my grass all over my yard! They did try to make it right but it was a pain coordinating it and it will be well over a year before it kinda goes away.

We chose not to heed the other bad reviews with this company; and yet we experienced the exact same problem as the other bad reviewers. Incomplete service. On the very first application only part of our yard was serviced. We have security cameras around the property and none of the cameras caught any motion on the front or side of the house. I got home from work and walked the property and only found evidence of chemicals on the backyard. The technician arrived at 2:19 and left 2:32 we have 25,000 square feet customer service said that they can do 1,000 square feet per minute so even by their own admission there s no way that the technician could have completed our entire yard in the time he was here and these times were from their own phone app. The total price that they quoted us was supposed to include grub control but after we pre-paid the information we were sent didn t include grub control. I tried reaching out to Jim the local manager and he failed to respond. So besides terrible service there isn t any local customer service. I would recommend listening to the bad reviews unlike us and go with a different company.

We called to have Trugreen come out to take a look at our yard because we had some concerns. They sent out a tech with less than a month experience, and was no help at all. The tech said his supervisor will get ahold of us, but never did. We will probably drop Trubrown.

I signed up for the 7 or 8 treatment plan and explained to the woman on the phone I had a crabgrass problem and would like that taken care of. She said she would have someone out in 4 days. I was then rescheduled 3 times. Come treatment day and I was sitting in the backyard all morning and got a text notification saying my TruGreen service was complete. On the front door was a service paper saying the entire backyard and front yard had been treated, which was impossible because I was sitting outside all morning and never saw anyone. I called obviously annoyed because had I not been there I would have been charged for a service they did not do and would not have known about it: So after sitting on hold for over 15 minutes I explained what happened and I wanted to cancel my service with them. The woman canceled and said my account would not be charged. A few days later my account was charged and someone came out for a free service. This time I went outside right away and asked what he was doing there since I had cancelled my service. he said he was there for my free service and would treat the yard for weeds. I told him I had a crabgrass issue and that s why I had called TruGreen. He then told me he didn t have his backpack so couldn t treat crabgrass. I ended up telling him to leave and. It touch my yard. I called TruGreen again about the charge on my account and the assured me the money would be put back in my account. Well, a week and some later Still no money in my account and I have to call again today. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER USED! I have talked to a few people about this and they told me they ve heard similar stories. I d give zero stars if I could

The technicians came on a early cold spring day, still took the time on first visit to explain what products they were using and what it would do for my problem areas.

While I know we are having record rain fall this year, but my lawn has never looked better because of TruGreen and the excellent care our tech has been giving our property. While the grass is green and lush, weeds are nowhere to be found. I have had many many comments on how nice my yard looks and they want to know how I am keeping it weed free!! I always tell them, call TruGreen and they will have your yard looking like mine very quickly!! Thanks to you TruGreen for taking the hassel out of making my lawn look its best!!

Disappointed to have to submit this review, but we paid upfront for 5 mosquito treatment services for the months of May, June, July, August, and September. They initially came out in mid-May as scheduled, but early in July I realized that they never came out in June at all, and it was like pulling teeth to get on their schedule for July. After missing the June treatment, I was finally able to get scheduled for mid July, only to have them no-show to the appointment without notifying me that they werent coming. Demanded a refund, which they eventually caved to. Terrible experience, will never use TruGreen for anything in the future.

Highly disappointed. Second time again I was on the schedule for mosquito defense and tech did not show. Lawn service has been good .. lawn looks great except for the rather large burn mark in front lawn which I was told they will reseed in fall. I understand things happen with scheduling but when your on the schedule from 7 am until noon and the reason he didn t show was because he ran out of spray ... sounds like a poor excuse. I am rethinking about having trugreen next year. Perhaps trugreen is so big they don t really care ... I m just one customer they have hundreds-thousands . Anyway... I gave 2 stars because lawn service is good... otherwise would be 1 or zero if I could. Hopefully mosquitos will not be bad this weekend! I have Off ready just in case.

I cannot share my experience with their lawn application because they never showed up. Their tech came to my house, parked in the driveway for 5 minutes and left. Called the corporate number and no one knew what was going on. Matthew M is the tech that ghosted me. They said he said he would call me within 30 minutes and nothing still. The manager called and appologized, but I guess they dont needmy business. Called Lush Lawns and they came out when they said.

Met with salesman Mike King on June 7, 2019. Signed up for service after being given a written quote of $241.08 which he said would cover the first 1 or 2 treatment in the spring because of the late sign up. Also was given a written quote for aeration and seeding of $194. But when I called to set that up in Sept. I was told it would be $500 and they would not honor the quote. I canceled my service and asked for a refund of unused monies. Had a manager call and said they would do it for $225 so I told him to send me a paper with that amount signed by him and if I still wanted it I would sign and return it. Instead I get a bill for $118 which is what I had left in my account. I call, explained to the girl she said see was sorry to not pay and she would send out the other paper. One day I get home the they had aerated and seeded my yard with out my authorization. Then I started receiving bills for the treatments that I had, according to my written quote, already paid for. I again canceled the service and sent them a check for $38.94 even though I do not feel I owed it just so I could be done with them. I have had damage to plants that the person that they sent out said was caused from the dry summer not the spraying even though no one else around me with the same plants had any problems. Companies like these should not be allow to operate. I feel what they do is criminal. Check with the BBB before using this company. I wish I had.

Sale person keep pushing me to give my credit card number. Also lied tht the call was going to drop or my screen will shut off so give me yr credit card number. Then after i gave my credit card number i asked her to go over the services 1 more time & she said we will mail it to you sir have a nice day. So just pushed me off the phone like that. I called customer service & told them about it n tht person who handed me so bad & unprofessional I was told from the customer service my sales person will call u back & also will discount me on yr services. Well tht never happened. I waited 3 weeks & never heard back. So please watch out for bad & lier sales person. Review & ask about the services before you give out your credit card number. I got my money back. But never going back to true green.

I hired Tru Green to treat my property for mosquitos for the entire season. We have a pool and large patio that we are unable to enjoy do to the mosquitos. We have used another company the past few years that was more expensive and but we did not have this issue. I have called customer service several times and have not gotten any resolve with them. I really wish the serviced worked but it did not.

I made a committment to go with TruGreen. What a mistake! TruGreen has already reschduled their first application three times and wanted to reschedule it a forth time? I canceled them and their TruGreen Eperience! I will go with someone else! Each time they canceled I was NEVER informed! Very bad experience would not recommend their service to anyone.

Trugreen Lawn Care is awesome. My lawn looks so full, rich and green after it has been serviced. No weeds, crabgrass or pesty mole activity. I would recommend it to all.

I was promised that I would have a green lawn under and around my large oak tree and if not they would repeat the service again next spring. Its spring and no grass. After several calls and getting the run around someone finally aerated the ground and supposedly seeded again. Was told if nothing happening in 3 weeks to call again. I called, left a message for a manager to call me. Almost a week and no one has called. Dont believe their hype about a satisfied customer. I am not !!!

Ive used Trugreen for 3 years and have no issue with the quality of their product. My problem is with Trugreens service. Our lawn has never looked worse than it looks this spring. We have an abundance of dandelions along with other various weeds that we didnt have last year. After our first application this year, the weeds persisted. I called Trugreen to come back and reapply. The tech arrived today to reapply weed killer, but didnt know that I was home. The tech only made one pass through my front yard, rolled up the hose, and left. He completely disregarded the remainder of the front yard and never went into the backyard. Based on this observation, I can only assume that this is the service Ive recently received. I called and cancelled my service. I was offered to have the tech come back, but theyve lost my trust and I refused. If considering having Trugreen provide lawn service in the South Bend, IN, or Southwest MI area, watch them closely!

Very poor communication and follow through with the local rep. Products were junk- my yard had tons of weeds and crab grass. Mosquito repellent should be renamed mosquito feed. Was quoted prices and charged more. My neighbor uses the weed killer yard feed product you buy at the store and hook to your garden hose and his yard looks 10x better than mine. Will never use Trugreen again

I had to apologize to my neighbors for the pathetic service done on my yard from TruGreen/Scotts lawncare. I urge Noone use them as they have slowly killed my yard, ghost serviced my yard putting the flag in the yard and bill on the door but never servicing the yard- camera footage proving this.i am in the midst of getting it looking lively again with another company and getting my REFUND! Negative reviews on any and evert site i can as well as my hundreds of dollars needing to be refunded. Lawyer in the works and complaint to Better Business Bureau.Have a good weekend all.
