Bento Snow Removal Service in Somerville

Great service! This was our first time using a snow removal service and they exceeded our expectations. This last storm was pretty challenging, they showed up promptly around 10 am to begin cleaning our driveway and our entrance and did a fabulous work. Then after the storm had subsided they stopped by and cleared it one more time and salted the area. They are also available if the city plow covers our driveway to come back and clean it.

Rafael is extremely pleasant! He and his crew are truly the best! This is my 4th season of trusting Bento Snow Removal Services to do the job, and they have never let me down! They are prompt, efficient, courteous, and RESPONSIVE. If you have an issue, just contact Rafael and the problem will be addresses and rectified, no hassles! Bento Snow Removal has shoveled a lot of snow for me and their professionalism was once again exemplified during the huge snow fall on December 18, 2020. He and his crew were at my property just when the storm was ending, They did a fantastic job clearing the snow to the point where our clean walk was noted as being the best in the neighborhood by my neighbors! Rafael's billing system is very easy to use and quite impressive! I would highly recommend this company to anybody seeking a reliable and professional snow removal contractor. Two thumbs up for Rafael and his crew!!

Rafael and crew are wonderful! They took care of us all this past winter, and cleared every single storm early and thoroughly. All the way to the curb and all the way to the pavement. We couldn't be happier and have recommended them to everyone we know. They've been very professional and responsive and we look forward to a long long relationship!

These guys are great! They don't skimp on service and hence aren't the cheapest out there. However, they are super reliable and thorough, which is what you need. They're flexible, accommodating, and extremely professional. Best snow guys our condo association has ever had!

Bento was extremely thorough when we signed up with them. Unfortunately, with the first storm of the season, they are completely MIA- phone unanswered, no replies to text or email, leaving us completely and unexpectedly stuck. Not sure if they're suddenly out of business or what, but definitely cannot recommend. Update- we finally received a response from the owners, who cited an emergency with one of the crews and stated that, while they were still trying to catch up from yesterday, today's conditions would prevent them from servicing us today and for "the rest of the season." To summarize- we signed a seasonal contract with them, they not only didn't show up but also didn't communicate anything about an emergency or change in plans that would allow us to make other arrangements, then canceled our service. Terrible customer experience.

Contracted with Bento last fall for this winter season. First storm of the year and they're a no-show. Their contract states they make all efforts to clear snow within 4-6 hours after the storm is over. It's been well beyond 6 hours and nothing. No answer at their offices (message says to send a text), no reply to texts sent to both the owner and main number provided. I get things happen but be proactive and let your customers know so they can make other arrangements. UPDATE: Just received this reply from the owner: We apologize for not servicing your property this storm. We understand and regret the inconvenience this has caused you. This is not how we do business and we are very sorry. There was an emergency with one of our crews in charge of this route and we are just catching up with the total impact. Unfortunately, with the temperature being so extremely low there is little we can do with the frozen snow to remedy this for you now. At this point, it does not appear that we will be in a position to service your property for the remainder of the season and unfortunately think you would be best served by choosing another company for your snow removal services. Bento does an excellent job...very thorough and responsive to particular needs of a property. We've had them do our snow removal for 2 winters, and think they are great. The only issue for us was a very steep price increase this past year.

I used the plowing services of Bento for the first time this past winter season. Simply stated...they were excellent. They cleared paths, sidewalks, stairs and a VERY large driveway that leads to four garages! They did an excellent job throughout a mighty snowy winter. They always showed-up on time so that folks could get to work. They were very clear about the billing rates and have an excellent accounting system. I am pleased to recommend them and their efficient services.
