Since we began using Lawn Doctor last year, our lawn in noticeably healthier and more attractive. This is our second season with the service and are very pleased with the results.

After many years of good service a month or so ago one of their techs came to apply flea and tick killer to our lawn. at the time we were out kayaking. When we returned I found that the paving stones to set my kayak trailers tongue on were missing. I phoned lawn doctor to inquire if the tech had moved or taken them but only got an answering machine. After walking around the yard for a while we finally found the paving stones in a far part of the backyard where the tech had used them to get his machine unstuck. At this point, most people would have returned the stones to the place where they were removed, not this guy, he simply left them where they lay. I called lawn doctor to lodge my complaint and to terminate my service. Lo and behold, yesterday, the same tech showed up on my property. When I discovered this I told him to get off my property and he and anyone else from his company to never show up in my yard again. His reply was dont have a heart attack and I wont repeat what else he hoped for me. Ill let you form your own opinion about lawn doctor. In a reply to this review the owner states that I am avoiding speaking with him. The fact is I m avoiding doing any further business with his company. It s no wonder that many people in my area have switched to different lawn care businesses.

When I purchase my home the lawn was thin and mostly dirt. I hired them and now my lawn is thick and green. I also have them treat for ticks. Since they started we haven t had any incidents with ticks. I will continue to have them take care of my lawn. I highly recommend them.

Lawn doctor has been servicing my lawn for 7 years. Prior to lawn doctor caring for my lawn, it was a mess. Grass was sparse and dull. Shortly after Lawn Doctor replaced my efforts on lawn care the lawn / grass is an attraction to the curb appeal of my house.

Excellent service all around

While year one was a decent improvement I felt all of that went away in year two Crab grass continued and at one point a quarter or more of the front lawn was burned and dead about 2-3 days later. They suggested it was from a fungus or mold and suggested some other treatment for several hundred dollars. The mosquito spraying was very effective however even when bundled to their lawn services it was still more expensive than most competitors. They wont be getting my money on year three Although I chose stars its really closer to 2.5 stars.

Lawn Doctor of Bridgewater has been excellent to work with. Their technicians are quick, leave a note detailing what was done to the yard and the office staff are responsive to any questions and concerns. In terms of effectiveness, my lawn was in pretty bad dis-repair (dead spots, tons of weeds) from older previous owners and its now extremely healthy. Highly recommend them.

I have been using Lawn Doctor for over 30 years but 2 years ago I decided to try a different service thinking my lawn was getting tired looking. BIG MISTAKE! I didnt realize how good the Lawn Doctor service was until that change. Last year back to Lawn Doctor and although my lawn took a beating this summer (as most did) from the extended dry periods the lawn is now back flourishing and looking good again. Techs are professional, helpful and always pleasant.. In the 30 years I have always been hard pressed to find a single weed in my lawn. I would highly recommend their service.

We have been using the Lawn Doctor of Bridgewater for at least seven years to service our property and are very satisfied. Even through the intense NJ summers, our property looks great. We were trying to maintain our own property, but it just wasnt working out to our liking. Their customized approach with expertise did the trick! Also, tips on mowing the lawn (keeping mower blade height at appropriate level & blade sharpened) were provided. They take the time to explain and answer questions. If you have a concern and contact the company, you will get a prompt response. Our contact with them has been a pleasure.

Last Halloween they came to put down grass seed & Aire rate lawn. It was too late in the season to do that task. It was like throwing $$ out the window. My regular feeding & fertilizer man does a good job.

For the first time in my life my grass has never been more greener, thicker, and full of life. I was always buying the scotts seasonal fertilizer and weed killers and etc, and my grass was still terrible. A lot of clovers, crabgrass and dandelions all over. My neighbors were always using lawn doctor and there grass was amazing. So me and my wife decided to take a chance and the chance we took with lawn doctor is by far the best choice we did. We have used Lawn Doctor for decades and our lawn is always being complimented for being the nicest in the neighborhood. We are very satisfied with their services, their responsiveness (had an unusual fungus issue one year and they were right there to make sure it was treated promptly) and the great attitude of their personnel.

After 1.5 year of service I still have patches and holes in lawn. I could just DIY fertilizing my lawn on my own.

I had lawn doctor for the fall last year and had a great experience with them. They were openly communicative and gave me a schedule of when my services would occur. I automatically renewed for the year and haveNOT received any schedule of services, i have no idea when lawndoctor comes to my house and i dont know what they do. Its june and im not even sure what has been done to my lawn, I have been trying to cancel my services but noone will answer the phone and it has been extremely frustrating and a complete 180 from my experience last fall

We have been using Lawn Doctor of Somerville for almost 5 years. They are real professionals and do a great job of being proactive with scheduling and billing. Oh yeah and the lawn! When we moved into our home in Branchburg, the grass needed a lot of work. I am not good at doing things like this myself, but honestly, if I could it could not possibly look better than it does today. I would challenge you to find a single weed! We ve been told several times how beautiful our lawn is!

If I have a complaint about the application not working on the weeds they return and see what the problem is. I would highly recommend them. After hiring another competitor for 2 years, I hired Lawn Doctor. They were thorough and brought my lawn back to thick and lush while getting rid of the weeds that the other could not.

I had my lawn reseeded in October. Nothing grew so I called Chris at Lawn Doctor. He came by and said the the seed was coming up. I saw almost nothing. He also wanted me to sign up for more treatments. I told him I would do the treatment and did it in November and again in March. He said that it would come up it the spring.Nothing came up and the person in the office said it was not warm enough. I waited a few weeks and still nothing. I called Lawn doctor back. Chris got back to me and said that I should have had the other treatments. He also said that the seed only has a 50% success rate. He and I have a totally different recollection of the conversion. He never said that. I would not have spent $750 for a 50% success rate. Save your money and do it yourself.

I recently received an estimate. I was ready to select items on the estimate. When I spoke with the owner, he stated items on the Additional Recommended Services (which I did not want) were mandatory. It was a take-it-or-leave-it proposition. Strictly speaking, it was a Bait & Switch tactic. When I complained to the national corporate office, I was told there was nothing they could do to change this owner s policy. I also learned this owner has a territorial monopoly with Lawn Doctor, in that I cannot use another Lawn Doctor franchise. My rating: Zero Stars. Within an hour, the owner contacted me to discuss this issue. It was apparent that he was concerned and sought to rectify the problem. He created a new template for the evaluation form, which is the estimate for services provided to potential customers. The new template makes clear (although in fine print) that the recommended services may be necessary, depending on the job site. For this my star rating jumps to 4.

So far so good. Professional, on time. If it wasnt for the sign out front, I wouldnt have even known they were there. Very happy.

I was skeptical these guys could turn my lawn around. After having my empty house on the market for sale for months, the lawn had been neglected and damaged with bald spots all over and dry patches. After one season, my lawn became the greenest on the block. So much so that my neighbors also became customers. The team was very attentive. They left a note after every visit describing the work and giving me tips. They even gave me a call ahead of time, at my request, in order for me to note any specific progress as a result of the treatment. I can t say enough good things about them and their professionalism. My house finally sold and I don t think it s a coincidence that it did so after I hired them. Well worth the investment.
