Custom Lawn Care in Snellville

I have know Thomas for over 25 yrs. I was once in the Turf Bussiness and only used Thomas for all my work and NEVER was late paying him! I had him treating my daughters lawn and had some miscummunication on a CC I had stolden and I owed him $83 dollars. Yes he called me several times and supposely left voice mails and I tried to return his calls. I have the text where I sent him all my new CC info and he read it. He files a lawsuit aginst me. No note on my daughters door no certified letter just, he thought I had skipped out on him. He spent $106 on a $83 claim. If Thomas owed me money (which he does not) I would have waited till we crossed paths one day and I know he would have paid me. Really over $83! I Will never recommend someone with these types of bussiness practices.......Over 25 yrs I have known him.

As of right now, I am very satisfied and happy with them. They are doing many of my properties. As a lawn service provider myself, I understand that one or two applications on a yard won't completely get rid of all the weeds. As I look at the lawns that they have done for me so far, the progress is awesome. I will continue to update and look forward to continued great work from this company. Thanks so much.

I had hired Custom Lawn Care because TruGreen's service was just abysmal. But after the last 3 applications from Custom Lawn Care I was unimpressed & cancelled service with them. I hired a new company who fertilized my lawn last week & to my horror John with Custom Lawn Care showed up today & fertilized my lawn again. I was out back watering my plants when I encountered him & stopped him & asked why was he here? I'm hoping that the fertilizer he spread today doesn't burn my Bermuda! As he left he said for me not to ever call them again. Uh, hello..I cancelled my service & had no intention of calling again. But I will if my Bermuda is destroyed due to their incompetence. Thankfully I gave a landscaper coming tomorrow & will explain it all to him & go from there. FYI John, I have the Ring doorbell video that has proof you were here today 5/18/22.

We used Custom Lawn Care for our landscaping when we moved into our house. Thomas worked with us on our preferences and advised us with his expert opinion. Our neighbors keep complimenting on how much better our yard looks! I would definitely recommend.

Normally, I don't write reviews, but, if I can save someone else the time and money I wasted, then it is worth the effort. First, let me start by saying my yard had not been cut in about four weeks. It was in bad shape I know. I asked for my grass to be cut; shrubs to be trimmed; weeds to be pulled; sidewalk to be edged and blown. All the grass clippings were left on the lawn, my shrubs were hacked, the yard was partially blown, and the weeds were never touched. I have to hire another company to fix the work Custom Lawn Care didn't do.

So far so good. I received a recommendation from my neighbor who has used them for 15+ years ( 2 different homes). The price was spot on for what I was willing to pay for whole yard service, front, back and both sides of my yard. I have been with them for a lil over 2 years, and so far they have come and sprayed or fertilized right on time as agreed, and have never raised the price. I did however have a small problem last summer with some weeds and green onions growing, and I called and was told the owner would call me back. He did about 30 min later. He promised that someone would come out with in a week and spray for the problems, which turned out to be true. The application took care of about 1/2 of the problem, but had to call again and get a 3rd treatment. During the 3rd retreatment, the worker gave me a bill? I explained to him that this was a retreatment, but he explained that he did nothing with billing, but to call the owner. I did call and the owner deleted the bill as for it was a mistake on their side. So far this year my yard is looking great, and I will continue to use them. A lot of my neighbors compliment me on my yard, and I have referred Custom Lawn care to them. Talking to the workers, they seem to be knowledgeable and friendly. Always will to chat for a few minutes and offer advice and suggestions.

I had custom lawn care for around 5 yrs with the year long applications. First year and a half excellent. My lawn was thick and beautiful. however over the last couple of years the quality has slacked off. I believe they have just been doing spots instead of treating the whole yard. I seem to be losing sod but i have plenty of crabgrass and weeds. Half of my side yard is now crabgrass. Also not treating one section of my yard. Three other people I know have to keep calling them back out to do the job they were supposed to do the first time. I have had to do it a few times also. I do not recommend, they are a little cheaper than some of the other companies, but you get what you pay for I guess. I just wish you could trust people to do a job that you pay them for.

We had Custom Lawn Care for 2 years with no problems. One of our neighbors used them. Last year our lawn turned brown after an application. We didn't panic and thought they would correct it when they came out the next time. But the next time they simply gave our brown yard another treatment. No acknowledgement our grass was brown. We called for support and where told we owned money for the last treatment. We said there was a problem with the grass...nothing. They didn't come out for the next scheduled treatment and I called and left a message...and another message...and another message with a live person. On my 3rd call I was told the owner didn't like to leave voicemails so he may have tried to call back and I wasn't aware of it. We literally had to replace 55% of our front yard with new sod. Never got the return call, but as the truck passes by our house today I thought not right...not good. So I'm writing the review. Mistakes happen...but working with a company that is willing to correct them is key.
