Ray was able to execute a planting project for the front of my house on short notice, when other local companies could not even produce a quote or availability. Ray the owner of Heritage Design Group is incredible. I was blown away with his level of work and professionalism. He is a perfectionist and a true artist. Our house had a long curved driveway in disrepair and a mess of a front landscape. Heritage came highly recommended by the landscape architect that drew up the plans to reinvent the property. The scale of the project was daunting and I ultimately went with Ray and his team at Heritage because they offered a one stop shop to change the shape and surface of the driveway, replace walkways and reinvent the entire landscape. Ray was incredibly communicative and took a ton of pride in his work. He creatively repurposed a lot of existing plants that I didn t even know I had, saving me money and uplifting parts of the yard I hadn t even considered in scope. He coordinated with other contractors (like sprinkler company) and kept them on task until everything was perfect. His son Jonathan from White Oak Solutions came over the top with landscaping lighting that really made the whole thing pop! The team at Heritage is honest, they work very hard and treat your property as if it s their own. I would definitely use them again!

Ray Langella and his team are absolutely phenominal! We are soo pleased with our transformation of our yard-its everything we dreamed it could be-we get compliments constantly. Ray is extremely fair with his pricing and his work ethic is beyond-showing up on Sundays to check on plants and water them! We invited Ray and his family to my daughters graduation party-we consider them family now! I cant recommend them enough! You cant go wrong using Heritage Design Group! We had a three level wood deck that I built myself years ago. The time came to replace it. Ray from Heritage came up with some dynamite solutions. He supplied us with an incredible software rendition of what it could be. It still had our original concepts intact, but now it is much more beautiful and built from long lasting materials. Ray helped us sift through the over-abundance of stone to choose from, the options, advantages and now what we have now is perfect. Ray and his team transformed the outside of our home. We love hosting family and friends on our new back patio and cooking on our custom built BBQ. The front of our house is the talk of the neighborhood and includes all new plantings, a new front stoop and driveway. Ray was great to work with. You can t go wrong with Ray and his crew! These guys dramatically transformed our front yard. Our front yard was overgrown, rock gardens were out of place, and the deck was slowly falling apart. Ray and his crew did a marvelous job transferring first our backyard and then our front into an oasis. When it comes to landscaping Ray is certainly a pro. He can envision a space that will look beautiful all year long. Giving it dimension, texture and color. Something few landscaper can do. Stone work also amazing and artistic. Ray did a fantastic job updating my old worn out front landscaping. New bushes and plants were planted in a beautiful design he made. Ray is on the job every day and calls when he s on his way. His crew are very polite, neat and clean. He calls to remind you to water the new plantings. He has a great personality. You will not be disappointed.

Ray and his team designed and transformed my dated landscape to a real show stopper. I have had countless neighbors stop me and rave at how beautiful everything looks. His team coordinated all aspects of the job including masonry work, sprinklers, electricians, sod and large specimen landscape plants/trees. I very much appreciated how clean, punctual and professional his whole crew was. It was also very refreshing to have the owner there to oversee that the job was done as we discussed. Ray and his team are true artists. Dont second guess yourself, go with Heritage!. They put their heart, love, soul, and reputation into everything they do and it shows! Their rate$ are beyond fair and reasonable. If you calculate quality and craftsmanship into the equation, theyre too cheap!! (dont tell him I said that!) Now for the unabridged version. My wife and I thought we knew what we wanted. Ray listened and provided tidbits to consider while walking through the initial consultation. We listened, but stood our ground and asked that he quote what we were asking for, which he did. He also advised the price delta to add and change the items he was suggesting. The price was right in line with what we expected and we committed. They showed up when they said they would and stayed until it was finished. Ours was a large job and it started in the last quarter of 2021 and continued well into the 1st quarter of 2022. They worked through frigid temperatures, weekends, and holidays. they continued to work even when we werent home. Any questions, Ray would text or call, It was refreshing to see! Needless to say, we hit it off with Hertiage right out of the gate! they understood exactly what we were trying to achieve. As we approached work milestones in the project, my wife and I understood what Ray was suggesting initially and we started seeing what he was saw from the beginning. Ray let the ideas fly and wow, they are phenomenal! I wish we could have done them all, though we had to pick and choose what worked within our constraints. We are extremely happy we did, it looks great and Ray is a man of honor (impossible to find in 22) and worked with us on the price changes. Did not inflate anything in this period of ridiculous inflation. He honored what he suggested and initially quoted. For items that were out of his control, he encouraged and allowed us to purchase directly. Naturally, we went over budget, but that is on us and we are still extremely happy!! The compliments, drop-dropping expressions friends and family have when seeing the work and the sheer joy we have using our new backyard is priceless! If youre considering hiring them for a project, do it! Youll be extremely happy you did! I wished there were more contractors like Ray in the world!!

Between the 2 of us, we have planted numerous gardens, over 85 privacy trees, we redid their driveway, patio, walkway, front entrance, the landscaping in the front yard, the lighting, you name it. Ray and his son Jonathan completed a landscaping project in our front yard and we could not be happier. From the start, Ray was responsive and spent time with us to make sure we would love the outcome. He visited our home several times during planning, and even walked around our backyard to learn a bit about the look that we wanted to achieve. The project started right away and the results were stunning. You can tell Ray has a passion for design and truly loves what he does. He then spent time with us to make sure we knew how to properly care for each plant, from watering frequency to trimming and upkeep. Jonathan does all the uplighting and that came out incredibly as well. He even stopped by several nights to make the final adjustments and tweaks so that everything would be perfect. We will be happy to recommend Ray, Jonathan and the rest of the Heritage Design team to everyone we know as I trust they will treat every project with the same quality and care as ours.

I had my cement steps and asphalt walkway replaced with brick and bluestone. Also had Heritage replace about 12 bushes, which they designed beautifully. I had a large tree that had been removed and had to change the look of my home. Ray thought I should sod over the portion of the lawn where the tree was removed and they went the extra yards to grind out some of the tree roots on the property so the look would be cleaner and nicer. I was thrilled with the results. The curb appeal of my home looks 1000 times better. Ray and his crew were personable, professional, and very reliable. They did the work when they said they would, arrived promptly and were hard working and efficient. I highly recommend using them. They were easy to deal with and very fairly priced.

I dont generally write reviews, probably because I am not often very impressed by the quality of work most people do. But I feel compelled to write a review of the work done by Heritage Design Group. I could not have imagined how absolutely beautiful my landscaping could look. I had a budget and was concerned we wouldnt be able to work with in it. But Ray at Heritage respected the budget and created a total WOW effect landscape design. I am truly impressed with his creativity and the job he did! Im very particular about details (Im not a its good enough type) and Ray blew me away with his attention to every detail!! Prior to calling Heritage about the landscaping, I had installed new pavers and stairs as part of the total project. I only wish I had met Ray first since Heritage also does masonry design work. I can only imagine the amazing job he wouldve done. Thank you to Ray and Heritage Design Group!

It took a while but all good things are worth the wait. Raymond from Heritage design group and his team transformed the landscape of our home from rough dirt and old scattered shrubs into a magnificent, elegant garden straight out of a fairytale. They diligently work all day through rain, sleet and snow for weeks on end, with vision in mind and a well thought out plan and with such professional craftsmanship and WOW... the results are drop dead gorgeous. I have used Heritage Design for two projects. It has been a pleasure working with Ray the owner. When we first moved into our new home we met with several landscape designers and decided to hire Ray. He designed and installed new pavers for a walkway to our front door. He also designed and planted the trees and shrubs in the front of the house. We were so pleased with the work he has done in the past, that we are now hiring him to beautify our backyard.

Ray, his son and their team are fantastic! We feel like we found our partners for all our future landscaping and masonry projects and we couldnt be happier! We are thrilled at the way our backyard came out!Ray and his team replaced our old retaining wall, put up and framed our bamboo fence and it looks amazing. In addition,They were able to reset all the pavers around our pool and now they look brand new.I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you Heritage design group. The best contractor experience we have ever had! Ray is such a great guy and so talented when it comes to envisioning a total project. We purchased a home with a sinking patio and the most overgrown/outdated landscaping. We had a few patio companies come out and they each gave us the same sales pitch and not one of them had an original idea until we met Ray. I can honestly say I have never met anyone with such enthusiasm for their profession. Ray is truly an artist! I know that I m not always easy to work with, but Ray and his guys patiently and respectfully put up my changing ideas and a lot of questions. He managed to thoughtfully plan out and implement details that made the project feel completely custom to us...more than I could of ever imagined! I am truly grateful for the entire experience and amazing outcome! We honestly look forward to working with Ray and his guys again on the next phase of our design dreams!

The best part of working with Heritage Design Group was the communication ,integrity, and talent or the company .They did amazing work and had exquisite custom design ideas not only for my patio but on my stone fireplace as well . All of my landscape needs were addressed and was pleasantly surprised with all of Ray s selections . Ray from Heritage Design is probably the most knowledgeable and talented Landscape designer on Long Island! Ray is the owner and has a degree in landscape design. Our house had no landscaping at all for several years because our house is on a northeast exposure. Also, our backyard was a mess! We had uneven land and a waterfall that never worked properly and was falling apart. My wife and I were hesitant to call someone because we felt we needed an expert who could figure out what to plant and how to fix our backyard situation. We heard of Heritage Design from our neighbors and decided to take the risk and call. That was the best decision we have made! My wife and I are so thrilled with the work done by Ray and his crew that we hired them to do more landscaping and, before long, our house has been transformed and looks amazing! We recently had a graduation party for my daughter and everyone at this part kept raving about our landscaping!!! Ray is extremely meticulous and has an eye for landscaping. Heritage design group recently completed a job for me. It was a big job, consisting of new masonry, a new driveway, walkway and all new landscaping with a new sprinkler system throughout my front yard. Ray Langella and his team were extremely professional and meticulous. His guys worked around the clock through the hottest days of the Summer, without complaint or taking much of a break. His sprinkling and lighting guys worked with the same diligence and professionalism, catering to us at every turn. The job was perfectly completed in every way. Ray has a very good eye for landscaping, and he is very confident in his craft. The end result proved just that. My wife and I couldn t have been happier. There were a few times, even after the job was completed, that Ray would pass by the house just to make sure it was done correctly. For a very long time I thought customer service was dead....then I met Ray. I will be recommending he and his team to everyone.

I was driving to my parents home in Northport, and on my way I noticed this beautiful landscaping job. I turned around to talk to them and get their business card and that s when I met Ray. He came to my home that I just bought, we sat and spoke about what could be done to make this to property look better. I gave Ray all the control and he went above and beyond what I was expecting. His crew are very respectful and work endlessly, morning till dusk. We have used Ray and Heritage Design Group for a few different projects. We started with our backyard and to be perfectly honest after sitting with 5 other companies, Ray being the 6th, good things come to those who wait and do their due diligence! From the start We didnt feel as if we were sitting with a salesman. We felt as if we were sitting with an individual who was passionate about his work and wanted to share his vision, abilities and designs to the best of our budget! He included us in every step of the way and offered some great suggestions with unbelievable results. He was able to create a total transformation that exceeded our expectations.
