What work did you need done? This project started out as a repair/replacement of the coping around my pool. Gasspi did such an excellent job of replacing the coping that I decided to get an estimate for a complete replacement of my pool patio rather than repairing the patio I currently had. I worked with Greg, and he was very cooperative and professional. The price he quoted me was very competitive and by my spending a few more dollars I would end up with a new patio and a new look for my yard. How did it go? The crew who did the pool coping were very conscientious and paid very close attention to the small details to be sure the coping was installed to perfection. I thought the crew who did the patio was a little less so but that is after the first crew set such a high bar that my expectations were probably a bit higher. I still felt they did an excellent job. I always watch contractors I hire very closely to be sure the work is performed to my high standards. I always let them know this before we sign contracts so both parties know what to expect. I used to do all the projects around my home myself so I have a lot of experience and knowledge of how these projects are done. If I am hiring a contractor I expect them to do a better job than I could do myself because they should be the experts in their fields. Working with the Gappsi teams was very satisfying as they all showed they have the expertise to do their jobs professionally. They dont get upset if you question what is happening. If you want something done differently they are more than willing to cooperate or they will explain what and why they are doing it that way. This shows their professionalism and that they are just as concerned as you with having your projects meet your total satisfaction. The patio looks fantastic and watching them do it I know it was done correctly. I would and have highly recommended them to anyone looking for a patio installation.

We were tired of our salmon paver color so we contacted Gappsi and met with owner Giuseppe. Instead of spending a fortune to change them out he suggested staining them. We wanted to do a grey color with a charcoal black border. Giuseppe and his professional crew began to clean the old pavers. Once they were cleaned Giuseppe himself began to mix the stain and sealer and started to install with his crew. At the end of the first day he was not happy with the shade of the color. He was so concerned with getting color exactly as we wanted it that 7am the next morning he was at his shop mixing color and sealer until he felt it was right. He came right over and applied it to a section and as we expected it was perfect. His commitment to satisfying and perfecting what we wanted was amazing. This is the third time we used Gappsi for our projects and are always amazed and pleased with the finished product. True professional and talented company. Thank you Gappsi.

Dear Giuseppe, Once again, Gappsi has delivered a quality product with a professional service team. After you delivered a beautiful a new custom limestone patio and pool resurfacing, we leveraged your Clean, Seal & Restore service and we couldnt be more impressed with the outcome and the team who delivered the work. The team came and clear the patio and re-leveled stones where needed. They re-enforced boundries & replaced broken patio pavers. The team powerwashed the limestone patio and even vacuumed the pool to clean up any debris. The service included replacing the sand used for grout with a polymeric grout that matched our white limestone pavers, which when dried formed a hard area which would prevent weeds from growing. They then applied a hydrophobic sealant which created a layer of protection that even creates large water beads that can be squeegeed off. Amazing! The good thing is that even wet, the stone were not slippery, which was a concern we had before scheduling the service but Giuseppe assuaged our fears at the showroom display, which had the same sealant that would be applied on our patio. We are planning an outdoor kitchen, pizza oven and we will certainly be speaking with you soon. Thanks again!

Ordered/Installed Heart of Hearts Bubbler Fountain. The purchase was easy. They said 4 weeks for it to come it, it was four weeks. A crew came out to install it. VERY nice crew. Did a great job!! I originally used Gappsi back in 2013 to completely remove my concrete backyard pool decking and replace it with a larger paver stone deck, new pool liner and steps. 2018, pressure wash and seal. 2024 again, pressure wash and seal and repair a leak in my skimmer line. The Gappsi crew worked all day in hot weather and were very detailed in their work. If you want it done right the first time.....Gappsi.

Gappsi did a complete renovation of our backyard. They created a beautiful 3D design for our new yard. They installed two marble patios, put custom seating and steps in my pool, built new retaining walls, did lighting, installed sod and turf, and installed arborvitae. We are very happy with how everything came out. The yard looks beautiful. Everyone in the company was easy to get in touch with. We plan on using them again for future projects.

We needed our pavers to be brought back from a boring dull look to a color enhancing sheen. We had someone seal them, a real hack, somehow he made it look even worse. We then met Giuseppe. He was very honest, and took the time to explain to us in great detail what was wrong and how to fix them. They first powerwashed them with high heat, then they stripped them, and then powerwashed again. Once everything was dry they compacted the sand into all the joints, then began to seal them with a sealer that really brought out the colors. Giuseppe really has the process down to a science and his crew are on top of their game. We are very happy with our decision, thank you to all at Gappsi. Steve & Rose.

I highly recommend Gappsi I had a pool installed by a different company 3 years ago, I had the stone installed by the people the pool company recommended, I wanted to keep it all in house in case I had a problem (that didn t work out), I purchased all of my stone from Gappsi (Thank God) the people that the pool company recommended installed it.. The stone started cracking and we had to replace most of the patio. I reached out to the installer and he wanted to charge me to replace it (imagine wanting me to pay again for a patio that was just installed) I then reached out to Giuseppe the owner of Gappsi, he came by the next day to take a look I told him my daughter was getting married in three weeks and he replaced all of the stone within a week, (at no charge) an hour after his workers were done he was at my house to look at the work and he brought me fresh baked bread. I recently had my brick patio around my pool and front/side walkways powerwashed/cleaned and sealed due to ample amount of weeds and dirt growing in between my bricks. My patio looked horrible due to all the weeds growing. But once they cleaned and sealed my bricks and used a grout hardener to prevent the weeds from growing it looked like a brand new patio. We were so glad with the outcome! Would highly recommend them to anyone that we know.

Giuseppe and his team were a pleasure to work with from the estimate through completion of the job. They were able to remove 30 years of stains from our bluestone pool patio after we d all but given up. Then they repaired cracks in the joints and pool coping with polymeric sand and sealed the entire patio. It looks almost as good as new! Giuseppe is very hands-on and communicated with us directly throughout the entire process. We ve asked Gappsi to extend our brick walkway next and are confident they ll do another excellent job. We highly recommend Gappsi based on our experience.

Fantastic work on every level. A few years ago we had used Gappsi to power wash and seal our patio. They did a great job back then, so we decided to use them again. This time they did it, and it looked even better! Absolutely amazing work by everyone involved. There were six different people who came and did the actual work and even Giuseppe Gappsi himself came and did the estimate both while it was raining and even coming back when it was dry. When everything was finished, we had one minor issue that we brought to Giuseppe s attention. He responded immediately and his team was there the next day to rectify it absolutely perfectly. They even put back all the patio furniture, power-vacced the pool, saved four baby bunnies, and Giuseppe baked us two loads of fresh baked bread when he came over. I mean seriously? The term above and beyond doesn t even come close. I could not recommend them anymore if I tried. Super professional all the way around. We WILL be using them again for future projects and we suggest you do too.

We recently used Gappsi to remove our pool diving board and modify our pavers using a decorative pattern in the surrounding area. We also had them remove an original raised planter along the fence and extended the pavers. When that work was done, we had Gappsi Clean and Seal the whole existing area around the pool and new area. Our Family is very happy with the work done and very impressed by the work ethic and attention to detail that was shown by all the workers. The entire job took about a week. The look of our pavers is very Rich and bland new looking....and No, the pavers arent slippery with water on them. Gappsi, also removed and put back all the patio furniture and umbrellas as well as cleaning the pool. I would highly recommend Gappsi for pavers and or Sealing and Cleaning.

FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH When we were house shopping about 9 years ago one of our must haves was a resort-like look and feel. Well, we did check that box but the 18x36 liner pool was already 12 years old, and the Trex deck was improperly installed which caused drainage problems and trip hazards. We had several pool remodelers in for quotes and none of them said they could change the shape or give us stadium steps and an auto cover. They said it could not be done. Enter Gappsi, Inc. not only did they give us a beautiful and much larger pool, the stonework deck and in our new screen room is perfect in fit and finish and beyond fantastic. The mason crew and pool crew were all professional, timely and very hard working every day. They always kept us updated on progress and next steps. If you are considering a new pool or a remodel, do your self a favor and go to Gappsi first They gave us everything we wanted and more and are by far the best in the business. Gappsi, Inc. cleaned, sanded and sealed all 1800 square feet of pavers around my entire house in a professional and efficient manner. Guiseppe was very responsive to all my concerns and personally inspected the final product. Highly recommend.

Gaapsi, Inc. recently installed a new paver stone patio in our backyard where an old cement patio once stood. Including re-leveling the patio grade along the back of our house so that the water runoff was corrected. In order to do this they had to dig up part of our sidewalk along the garage to match the new grade of the new patio. They cleverly used the existing stone pavers from an ex tended part of the patio to use as a border around the new patio. Finally they powerwashed our existing 12 year old stone paver sidewalks and driveway, including the old paver stones they used as a border for our new back patio, and then installed new sand in our driveway and sidewalks and sealed that. Their crew was amazing, detail oriented and took many extra steps to make repairs in the pavers where needed as well as replacing old stained pavers. The end result was amazing and I highly recommend them. Beautiful and perfect craftsmanship. We are so happy. Thank you Giuseppe!

My first experience with Gappsi was in 2007. Giuseppe and his team redid my driveway, steps and patio. They did a fabulous job which is still evident over 16 years later. In 2021 we called Giuseppe again this time to clean and sealer the pavers. Again, they delivered on what they said and my pavers looked new again (this process is worth it). Which brings us to 2024. We recently had a new fence installed and the pavers by the gate were lifting up, preventing us from opening the gate. Rather than call the fence company I called Giuseppe. He came over (that day!) and explained the issue. The fence company did a poor job in putting the pavers back and now the freezing temperatures (water expands as it freezes) were lifting up the pavers. He said we would send some men over to fix the issue. They arrived the next day and removed the lifting pavers, re-formulated the sand underneath and it looks perfect again. Giuseppe said there was no charge! I doubt there are other companies who would stand by their work 16 years later (it wasnt even their fault). If you want the job done right, to last and to look beautiful you should call them. My highest recommendation.

I spoke with Giuseppe about a pizza oven he has on the website. Well, my inquiry turned into a pizza-making class, filled with his experiences with various oven types, and then went into his love for making pizza and bread for his family and friends - and how he is connected to the flame , starts it, fans it, feels it, and reads it to make great pizza. He is VERY passionate about it! We ended up talking for 45 minutes, and although I did not buy an oven from him (and he knew it), he coached me, and helped direct me to the right type of oven for me and my situation. Great experience - wonderful man!

I had a problem with water leaking through my glass block decorative wall/window. I emailed Giuseppe regarding this problem and he responded very quickly that he could address this. Within 3 days his guys came cleaned all the glass mortar and stucco and meticulously waterproofed the entire structure. All completed in one day! He fixed my problem. I give him and his team the highest review ! Quality and superb customer service!

Last spring had multiple projects done at my home. New pool liner, new pool salt chlorinator, new wifi enabled pool pump. In addition all new stone work around the pool. Also , a free standing water fall with wi-fi control of the led lightening and pump. Lastly I had the stone sealed to minimize slipping when wet. Gappsi Inc installed a large in ground pool with a bunch of features. The features included a gratto, slide, hot tub, bubblers, water sheer descents from gratto, and gas fire bowls with water accent. Pool came out amazing. Also installed a waterfall adjacent to the gratto and fire pit on the other side of the gratto. I front of the pool they installed a 20 foot by 20 foot pavilion with a full outdoor kitchen that cooks great. All the pool equipment is hidden away behind the pavilion where you can t see it and they also installed a huge sand box behind there as well. These guys do great work.They also planted shrubs, trees, and tropical plants around the whole area. It came out great. I would highly recommend them. I also use them every year for my Christmas lighting. Big thanks to everyone who works at Gappsi.

Giuseppe and his crew installed the most beautiful natural stone patio arounf my pool a few years back. It remains beautiful years later. I have had it power washed sveral times and the contractors all commented on the tightness of the fit of the stones and that this indicated the quality of the mason work. I recently dropped the custom made stone cover to the skimmer. I called Gappsi and Giuseppe got back to me right away. He said he has a crew in the area and would have them come by sometime that day and make me a new cover, which they did. he would not accept payment. This is unusal and outstanding customer service which I will never forget. Craftsmanship, integrity, and attention to the customer. A winning combination.

Gappsi did a complete makeover of our backyard which came out fantastic. Added a brand new backyard kitchen which included twin eagles gas grill, twin eagles outdoor bar, two sinks, summit outdoor fridge, and multiple outdoor storage cabinets. I recently contracted with Gappsi to renovate my backyard pool and patio. This was a large renovation on a pool that was poured in 1963 and renovated in 1980. Gappsi moved the skimmers, returns and replaced the main drain. LED lighting, a slide, an autofill n ew diving board and 2 sheer descends were also added. New coping and marble dust were also included in the renovation. Gappsi stone was used for the coping and the patio area. The patio area also includes a pavillion with outdoor kitchen and back wall/ Gappsi was terrific throughout the process. It was a fairly complex renovation which included landscaping. Giuseppe and his team were always professional and very interested in completing a project that we would be pleased with. They certainty accomplished that goal. I need to add that when any issues came up, Giuseppe and his team were there to make sure they were corrected. Gappsi originally paved my entire courtyard, driveway, rear patio, and pool area with all natural travertine stone more than 10 years ago. The color and finish faded over the years and I recently had Gappsi do the maintenance. They power washed, re-sanded, and sealed every paved surface on the property and it came out amazing. The prep work done by the crew was incredibly thorough and the materials and sealant that was used completely revived the beautiful color of the natural stone. All of the paved surfaces on the property truly looks just as great as it did 10 years ago, if not even better. I couldn t be more happy with the level of craftsmanship and professionalism. We wrapped up a several month project with Gappsi for a gunite pool and custom pavillion .... and all I can say is Wow! The workmanship is beautiful. Giuseppe Gappsi, the owner, had great ideas about how to layout the pool and Pavillion yet he was receptive to feedback to ensure the project delivered what I had envisioned. Giuseppe, I am writing to tell you how pleased we still are with our backyard thirteen years after you redesigned it. As you can see from the photos, all the plantings have fully matured and the combination of Green Giant Arborvitae, Leyland cypress and Cryptomeria provide more than enough privacy. The multi-level travertine patios are still in great shape and we love the fact that they don t get hot from the sun and burn the grandkids tender feet. The swimming pool, while not part of our original plan, has provided countless hours of fun and enjoyment for family and friends. We have two grandchildren in nearby Stony Brook who are here quite often to swim and play in the pool and two additional grandchildren in Virginia who enjoy visiting every summer to also enjoy the pool and yard. The built-in barbecue, refrigerator and outdoor sink are very convenient and enable us to entertain with ease. Even after 1 year, Giuseppe is as responsive as he was when I first was thinking about signing the contract with him. Since day 1, he was always eager and willing to answer any of my questions, listened to my concerns, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process never pressured or rushed. He is honest and wants to ensure you are happy with the final product. As the owner, Giuseppe, always checked in with me throughout the entire process and even 1 year after install. His many different crews are all great, hard workers, friendly, and did a fantastic job everyone is blown away at the quality and finished product. Gappsi completely renovated my existing pool with a new marble pool deck, new waterline tile, pool lighting , and new interior pool finish. They also redid all of the plumbing. These guys are the best. Professional, skilled, and no nonsense. The stone work around the pool, patio, and walkway needed cleaning and resealing. Gappsi did an excellent job when they installed it 10 years ago so we did not hesitate to call them when it came time to refresh it . Everything was meticulously power washed, stone was leveled, new special sand applied and then it was all sealed. This was a lot of stone and the crew are dedicated to a level of quality you dont find every day. They have been around a long time for a reason. I hired Gappsi 4 years ago to completely redo my Gunite pool. A few tiles were loose this summer and I texted some pictures to the owner Giuseppe and he called me back within the hour and came out to look at the problem a few days later. He scheduled the crew to go over the whole pool and make the repairs within a week. While he was there I asked about my twenty year old pavers not looking that great. He suggested sealing the patio and that if I did that all the colors would show up like new. I agreed to do the sealing. The crew did a great job. Cleaned the pavers added new sand and sealed the pavers. It looks great. The guys even vacuumed my pool. If you are looking for a great company and you deal directly with the owner I highly recommend Gappsi. He also makes great bread. He brought me some when he came to look at the pool tile issues. He stands behind his work.

I couldnt be happier with my pool and outdoor kitchen installation by Gappsi. The pool is not only stunning to look at but it is also highly functional with an auto pool cover, and intreated hot tub, heating system and LED lights. Ive called this place around 3 or 4 times to get an estimate on shrink wrapping my furniture. Originally I spoke to a Jeff who told me hed meet me at the house to quote me. That day came and went. After texting and calling again, I received no call back. I have since left 2 voicemails with the general number but still no call back. Very unprofessional. I couldnt imagine doing business with them. Waste of my time.

We first had our pool installed by Gappsi about 17 years ago. We recently received an email about refinishing pavers and adding sand to prevent weed growth. After all this time, it is something we definitely needed done. Again, we were so impressed! We had a few stones that needed to be fixed or replaced- to our surprise, they went through the entire patio replacing bricks as well as leveling areas that sunk over the years. Fantastic job! We will be staying with Giuseppe for many more years to come

We hired Gapsi 26 years ago. They completed paved driveway, walkway, stairs, and pool desk. Since then, they have widened our driveway and put in two decorative areas on the driveway. Gusieppe stands behind his work. Recently, they came and fixed a few loose steps from previous work. He is wonderful! I would recommend this company to everyone.

Gappsi constructed a stone porch in front of our house a few years ago. We had the porch power washed and the grout began to crack. and collapse We were past any warranty, but called Gappsi to get an estimate to repair it. They came, completely removed the old grout and re-grouted the entire porch at no cost. The people they sent to complete the repairs were courteous, professional and did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend gappsi inc. They are reliable, prompt and did a great job on my backyard patio. They stand by their work and repaired my patio which they had done years earlier. Roots from my trees started to push the granite pavers up. Although this was not their fault they responded immediately to my call and had a full crew at my house to fix the situation by removing the roots and reinstalling the granite. I was completely satisfied and pleased.

We worked with Gappsi in 2011 on a comprehensive redo of our hardscape and landscape including a new pool. We couldn t have been more pleased with the choice of materials and overall execution. Extremely happy with the end results. In the front of our house, Gappsi installed a 60-foot 2-tiered retaining wall with 13 wide steps up to to our front door. Work in the rear of the house included a curved stairway with retaining walls on both sides and a patio/walkway. On the side of the house work included a 100 foot driveway with belgum block edging and aprons at the foot of the driveway and garage. I had picked out wall materials but Gappsis suggestions for stair/patio/ledge pavers were a perfect complement to the walls. Before starting, a very professional set of conceptual drawings were provided. I am also very happy with support. Three years after completion, a stone came loose. I stopped by to ask the best way to rescue it. Giuseppe came, had his crew check all the pavers to assure no others were loose and repaired the loose stone.

My wife and I approached GAPPSI to design a major project at our home, which included the driveway, walkways, steps, planters and retaining walls. We had seen other GAPPSI projects in our community and were impressed with the design and quality of their work. They listened to our requests. The unique design presented to us was beyond our expectations. Friends and family have all complemented us on our hardscape . 2 weeks ago, I notified GAPPSI of an issue with one of the planter walls. Gappsi was recommended to us by friends. In June of 2000, we hired them to design our driveway and walkway using Nicolock Paving Stones. Choosing Giuseppi and Gappsi to perform the work was one of the best investments we have ever made. The design and stone work was beautiful and absolutely flawless. People have actually stopped their cars and asked us who did our work. Over the past 20 years, some of the pavers have settled causing some areas to slightly dip. I called the office to set up an appointment for Giuseppi (the owner of the company) to stop by and assess the situation. He arrived and looked everything over and said he would take care of it and drove off to his next appointment. One week later a team arrived and removed and replaced hundreds of paver stones. The driveway and walkway look brand new again, 20 years later! The quality of material and workmanship is outstanding. The team arrived on time, worked hard all day, left the work area as they found it and restored our beautiful driveway and walkway paving stones back to their original splendor. I had an appointment At 12 PM with Jeff yesterday, at 9 AM he called to say he could not make it. He said there was a mixup in his office and he was going further out east. I was not happy that three hours before he supposed to be at my house he canceled. But I understand things happened. He asked me to send him pictures of my backyard which I did right away and then we spoke afterwards. I Explained the measurements and what I wanted done and he said he ll get back to me by the end of the day with the price. I did not hear back from him so I texted him last night asking for a price. I did not hear back from him so I text him again this morning asking for a price. I did not hear back from him and now it s 730 at night and I said to myself forget them. I see by other reviews that they are not good in following through and getting back to people and now I am one of them . Very disappointing

Gappsi Inc. assisted me and my wife in designing a beautiful Inground pool to fit into our Nassau County backyard ... with very limited space. WOW! Job Well Done!! They really helped us get the most out of our yard. We still cant believe that we were able to fit a 16 by 20 Inground pool plus a 7 Sun deck for water-chair lounging. They also helped us design a beautiful 12 flowerbox feature along 1-side of the Pool with stone pedastals on either end to support our magnificent Pentair lighted-glass water bowls ... with a 4 sheer descent waterfall inbetween! They also saved us precious back yard space by installing all of our Pool Equipment in the back of our garage adjacent to our Pool. We saw many POOL designers before making our choice, but Gappsi was the only company that ONLY uses natural stone in their work... and at a very fair price, by comparison to the all-to-common cement pavers. Surrounding our uber-modern spa-like pool is creamy-white natural Marble Stone throughout the entire yard with a white sparkling accent stone around the waterfall & water bowls. They rebuilt our 2 sets of outdoor steps, re-laid the cement floor in our 2-car garage, put in a dry-well for proper drainage and back-washing, laid beautiful natural black limestone down our entire 80 foot driveway as well as in front our our Garage and BBQ area. Our driveway was edged with beautiful Belgian Block to give it all a crisp-clean finished look. Finally, they surrounded 2 sides of our pool with beautiful 6 tall Arbourvides to complete the serine Spa-like feel. This gorgeous Pool and our entire backyard blow our friends away every time they see it. And, with the LED Color Lighing in and around the Pool & house and our amazing outdoor sound-system... we always feel like we are at a luxurious vaction resort!! Gappsi installed an asphalt driveway and used Nicolock Granite City blend pavers for the apron, wings and walkway. It looks great. I am looking forward to working with them to finish my basement at the earliest, and I will be using them to seal the pavers next season.

Gappsi has created many beautiful patios, pools and landscape designs as seen on their Website. The workers are creative and very skilled at the various phases of construction. They are careful and considerate of ones property. My project was a small covered patio of 400 sq. ft. and beautiful steps done in a gray limestone. This turned out excellent in just 3 days. I would strongly recommend them for other projects.

I wanted to write about how happy I was with the work performed by Gappsi, Inc on my residential property (specifically modifying my retaining wall and installing a new Jacuzzi). For those of you who don t want to read the details, what sets Gappsi apart from a customer experience: - The experience from start to finish feels like your working with a partner, not a seller. I never felt pressured into any decision and Gappsi was always looking for cost effective alternatives to keep cost down. - A white glove experience from start to finish. Every single employee was extremely respectful, professional and amazing to interact with - Tremendous quality of work - A company that truly balances form and function. My work was both beautiful to look at and suited my needs to a T. So to start off, this project took 3 years from start to finish. The timing was completely based on my needs changing and obviously covid. When I was ready to execute, Gappsi completed the project in less than a month. The reason the project took 3 years from my needs changing was that originally my scope of work was based around an inground heated pool. Being in a corner property with a non-level yard presented numerous challenges. I visited Gappsis showroom several times where Giuseppe (owner) walked me through options and prices, constantly looking to deliver the most value for the smallest investment. Their showroom is amazing, modern and welcoming. It really inspires a lot of ideas. One of the ideas was this amazing jacuzzi in the middle of the show room floor. Giuseppe suggested how we could save a ton of money on the project (and on energy and maintenance going forward) if we decided to instead go the jacuzzi route. We would also avoid needing things like permits from the town. Giuseppe took the time to understand my situation (married, but not planning on having kids) and explained how for myself and my wife a jacuzzi would provide year round use. It was a LIFE CHANGING suggestion. Fast forward to today, we have had the jacuzzi a little more than a month and use it daily at all hours of the day and evening. I could not be happier with the work, the price and the service. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to any and all.

It looked terrible and i was worried that no one would come to fix such a small issue! Although they did the work many years ago, they came almost instantly to do the repair and they didn t even charge for it! They are amazing! Thank you!!!! Highly recommend!

We had Gappsi clean and seal our walkway and patio and it looks like it was just Installed. The guys that came were awesome. I think what impressed me the most was there professionalism. I hired Gappsi several years ago to do a patio around my pool as well as a raised patio in front of my cabana with a bbq and firepit. One patio is constructed of a limestone that has seashells suspended within it. The other patio is made of a blue limestone that doesnt get hot in the sun and looks very similar to bluestone. The bbq and firepit are made from laminates of the limestone with the seashells. It all came out amazing. I get lots of compliments from friends and neighbors. We are very happy with both patios, the bbq and the firepit. Living in the northeast with all the freezing and thawing wreaks havoc on your the stonework but anytime something has come loose or we have had an issue, Gappsi has stood behind their work and repaired it for me at no charge. They are extremely busy so sometimes it takes a bit of time but they always get here. Satisfied customer.

Gappsi has completed three separate paver projects for me. The work is outstanding and the timeline is accurate. All three paving jobs were big jobs and they did not disappoint. I should have written this five years ago when the work on my newly installed natural stone walkway and steps were installed. I was extremely happy with the results then and especially now after dealing with Giuseppe Abbrancanti and the Gappsi team about a minor repair on the work they completed because they are a company that stands behind their work. Gappsi was an absolute pleasure to work with. We had an issue with our inground pool/hot tub where the water wasnt flowing correctly from hot tub into pool - we had 4-5 others look at it (pool companies and masons) and no one could figure out how to fix it and/or no interest in helping us. Giuseppe stopped by just a day or two after I reached out and and within 2 min knew exactly how to fix it without removing the bluestones or doing any damage to the existing stone work.. They showed up just a few days later and worked until they fixed it perfectly! They noticed that we had some stones sticking up in front of our house and they offered to fix those as well - spent a lot of time digging out a tree root and fixed the steps perfectly! They even followed up to make sure that that everything was working and that we were happy. I am a registered nurse and I work at the Northport VA in an outpatient clinic. We were observing Overdose Awareness Day at our clinic and we were planning on planting a Garden of Hope for the veterans in observance for all the veterans who have lost their life through overdosing. I reached out via email to Gapssi to find out what the cost of a bench would be for the garden. Mr. Abbrancati called me back promptly and I explained to him about our plan to plant the garden and wanted to know what the cost of the bench would be. His response was Its for the veterans, there is no cost. He directed us to go to the showroom and pick out whatever bench we wanted and that it would be a gift to the veterans from him. Installing a new pool and patio is a huge undertaking and will make a significant difference in your yard for many years to come, and when it came time to select a company to transform our yard, we chose Gappsi. And we re glad we did. We chose Gappsi because of their experience and dedication to quality. I waited a couple of years to write this review because a pool and its adjoining patio are subjected to extremes here in the northeast and over the past couple of years, whenever we have a question or concern about our pool or patio Giuseppe always responded promptly. Our new porcelain patio will turn 3 this spring and it looks a good as the day it was finished. Our patio has created an outdoor room where we live in Spring-Summer and Fall. A few years back, I walked into Gappsi pools on a whim and ended up spending several hours with Giuseppe the owner, as he explained their process for installing pools as well how he designed the built in electric cover. The cover is neatly integrated into the pavers so that it s pretty much invisible. A few weeks later Gappsi turned my back yard into a paradise. They installed the pool and all the pavers and travertine surrounding it. Now eight years later some of the pavers and travertine had settled and shifted a little. I called Giuseppe and a few days later he had his team in my yard adjusting the settled stones and making the patio look like new again. You can t find that kind of customer service anymore. We hired Gappsi to do a complete renovation of our backyard after a few visits to their showroom in Smithtown. We loved the quality of their stone and their ability to provide graphic layouts of the final backyard design. Every aspect of our backyard was getting a makeover from removing the original clay brick patio, grading the property with a new creative design, installing a new marble patio with an outdoor fireplace, refurbishing the gunite pool including new filter and piping and the final touch of two beautiful LED fountain water bowls, the professionals at Gappsi went above and beyond during each phase. Gappsi has given me the resort staycation backyard that I ve always wanted. I ve lived in my house for 25 years and had a complete renovation of my backyard space done by Gappsi last summer. The outdoor space is multileveled and had a ton (no exaggeration) of bricks that needed to be removed before work began. The Gappsi crew was professional and courteous from day one. It is challenging to find a contractor to do it all but Gappsi provided excavation, electrical, lighting, pool repiping, new pool liner, installation of travertine stone pavers, retainer walls with veneers, outdoor cameras for security, turf, an eight person hot tub, and a beautiful fountain. The landscaping will be completed next year along with the cleaning and sealing of all the stone on my property. Giuseppe, the owner, is incredibly honorable. I am a business owner who has maintained two 10,000 square foot buildings for 15 years so I ve worked with several contractors over the years but Giuseppe is exceptional! He is very hands on from beginning to finish. I have his contact information and he responds to all requests immediately and there s no penny pinching for extras. I highly recommend Gappsi. The cost was not cheap but very fair for what I had done. If you re like me and expect quality and personalized service, then you are willing to pay for it. There are supervisors for every step of the renovation so all you have to do is sit back and watch your property be transformed. We now have the backyard that I ve dreamt about for years. I respect a company that stands by its work! I had my front and side steps built by Gappsi in 2017 and after this particularly rough winter I had some stones loose. The owner came to my house right away to inspect and had his crew fix within 48 hours! They have stayed in constant touch with me the whole time to make sure I am satisfied and I can say, so far I am! I get lots of compliments on these steps and the stones stay cool in the summer..

Gappsi designed and built our dream backyard years ago and it still looks as beautiful as when it was first done. In 1993, Guiseppe installed the pool patio around the new pool we had put in. That was 28 years ago! The pool deck is still in perfect condition and there has been no settling at all. The reason, I believe is that Guiseppe took the extra effort to use rebar in a real cement bed and attached those bars to the pool itself. He took no short cuts. His English wasn t the best back then. In 1999, we completely rebuilt our home. The contractor we used then installed the patio by our house. Unfortunately, that patio didn t hold up as well as Guiseppe s work did. The waves on this patio made it really hard to have a level table to sit at. Not sure what to do, I looked up Mr. Abrancati to see if he was still in business. To my surprise, I found his number and phoned. His sister answered and took a message. Sure enough he phoned me back and knew exactly who I was. Could you imagine? Soon after he came over and I showed him the areas where the other guys work had failed. Joe looked at it a few minutes and said okay. Okay what I thought? He walked away and said he d be in touch. A couple of weeks later his guys show up and fix the waves in the patio within a few hours. We asked the workers what do we owe you ? They replied Giuseppe got your back , there s no bill today. That my friends is all you really need to know about him. He s a stand-up kind of guy that you can count on. He made me feel like family. In my world, we refer to people like him as Salt of the Earth . His work is rock solid, just like him. If you need a reference, please feel free to instant message me. As far as I m concerned, if he can fit you into his schedule, use him. I can t be more direct.

Gappsi installed my patio and pool deck about 15 years ago and it still looks as good as the day it was installed. Twice I needed Gappsi to repair my ladder anchors that deteriorated and a broken brick. The owner Giuseppe Giuseppe was quick to return my call and sent the crew right over to do the repair. Giuseppe is professional and trustworthy and his team does quality work at a fair price I have recommended Gappsi many times.

Gappsi put in our pool patio, bar and pre-built pavilion last year. Greg was great and extremely helpful from the planning through the oversight of the work and Danny and his team did an awesome job putting it all in. Throughout the whole process everyone was attentive and always available to answer questions and of course everything came out beautiful.

My wife and I were very interested in a wood fired pizza oven and did our research. We had decided on the Alfa Oven 4 Pizze model and we were glad to see that Gapssi was a retailer. Their salesman was quite helpful and went over the many other pizza oven options they offered in addition to the Alfa Brand. At the time of the sale, they were quite thorough in confirming the exact site for delivery which was reassuring since we live on a hard to find private road. They were very accommodating when it came time to schedule delivery. Overall we give them high marks!!

We just recently had our driveway and landing repaired by Gappsi. Back in 2002, they did our driveway and front steps with Nicolock pavers. It came out beautiful! Put a deposit down for some stone work on my fireplace and was told the job would be done in March. Followed up many times and was told the job would be done next month, then next week, and now it s June and they won t even return my calls. Look elsewhere if you are looking for someone to keep their word and actually do the work.

I have had a very unpleasant experience working with Gappsi to date. Started work in our yard with them over a year ago, work is still complete and has been damaged now due to being left incomplete over winter. Concrete was sprayed on the side of my house, I was promised this would be fixed, but then they winterized their vehicles and have refused to return calls/texts or emails since. I gave the benefit of the doubt and waited until spring, but now its summer. The portion of my yard left incomplete is now a 30ftx10ft space i cant use and will be expensive to fix using another company. More than $10k in services and nothing to show for it but a loss of yard space.

Gappsi installed a beautiful travertine patio in our backyard about 5 or 6 years ago. Recently a couple of the tiles came loose and presented a hazard. We called Gappsi and they responded immediately, replacing the loose tiles at no additional cost to us. Their clean up was a bit sloppy and we couldnt get some of the stuck cement off by ourselves. So they returned and power washed the entire patio and put in new sand, again at no additional cost to us. The patio looks good as new. However, the travertine scratches very easily, something that we were not aware of when we made the purchase. Had we known this we would have gone with a different material.

Gappsi has provided great service and has taken care of any issues that developed over the years. The workers are very professional, I would recommend them to anyone requiring their services.

We hired Gappsi a few years ago to fix our pavers around our inground pool the were caving in, Fill paver joints with Polymeric sand, the empty spaces found between each papers where I would spend hours pulling out weeds all the time then seal the pavers. I highly recommend Gappsi, Inc for any of your future home design work. I have never had the pleasure of working with highly skilled professionals. I have used them for over 20 years, from 110ft retaining walls, to in ground swimming pools, the stone work around the pool to totally renovating and transforming my home in Country Woods to Stucco and Stacking stone. My father also used them to do a 110 ft driveway and walkway in pavers as well as all around his inground pool. He recently installed a chair lift into the cement that can lift my handicapped mom in and out of the pool. Gappsi installed a very large driveway with natural granite pavers several years ago we were very happy with the install and the granite pavers; they have not changed in colors or texture. We needed some minor repairs done recently and they did a beautiful job - I do not hesitate to recommend them.

About sixteen years ago I had the people at Gappsi come in and to a complete exterior upgrade with new siding and a roof. As part of the work they had to remove and reinstall the clamps that holes my electric line in place. Now sixteen years later I noticed that the plastic on the clamps had broken and the electric line was no longer secured. With just one call to Gappsi, Giuseppe Abbrancati came over the next day and noted the problem. Within a few days a crew member came out and fixed the problem with new clamps. That is what I call customer service!

Gappsi did our entire backyard our pool, our patio and our outdoor kitchen area. 4 years later and I continue to think they are the best in the business. They are extremely reliable and excel in customer service. The work product is top of the line friends and family have expressed the same and a few have already reached out to Gappsi for work in their years. All of the different workers who have come over the years have been very friendly, diligent and they consistently pay attention to the little details to ensure their service exceeds expectations. Gappsi did our pavers in our backyard in 2010. The ground settled and the back part of the pavers started buckling. We called Gappsi and Giuseppe (the owner) came and looked at it and said that they would fix it. The crew came and pulled out the pavers, filled in and flattened the part that settled and repaved that section of the patio for us AND he did not charge us. We were very grateful for the customer service they gave us and they also fixed some pavers on our front walkway that were loose as well. I highly recommend as they stand by their work and their product.

I am writing this review for my family. Years ago my parents had a driveway with pavers installed at their home. Several years later Gappsi is still standing by their work. There were recently some minor fixes that needed to be corrected after all these years. We only had to ask Gappsi once, and they were here a few days later address what needed to be done. We are very pleased with our experience using Gappsi and would highly recommend them.

Recently we needed the Gappsi Group services for automobile accident damage on work they did for us a number of years ago. They had done work that included demo and installation of a large Nicolock porch front entrance along with a driveway paver apron and light piers. That work was transformational to the front of our home and still looks like new. Upon contacting the Gappsi Group for the accident damage they responded quickly with a crew to access the damage and make it safe. A short time after they returned to fix the damage and also do some additional work that we requested. In short, the Gappsi Group is responsive, professional, and does quality work and we highly recommend them.

I recently had a 2nd great experience with this company. Gappsi installed a driveway and a new stoop about 6 years ago which I was very happy with. The workmanship and customer service was great. One of the blocks on my stoop cracked I contacted the company to ask if I could get a replacement block so I could do it it myself. The owner Guisseppe stopped by my house to check it out and told me a crew would be there to take care of it. In less than a week a crew showed up replaced the block and also replaced a few cracked border pavers around the driveway. Guisseppe was in contact the whole to make sure i was satisfied. The customer service is 2nd to none. Look no further if you need any type of this work done and make sure to check out the showroom for their unbelievable display of pizza ovens you might be lucky enough to get a fresh baked loaf of bread.

What a team! Everything looks phenomenal . Guiseppe promised me the end result would be something I love and he was right . The stone we went with looks incredible and the turf we added has been perfect for the kids and our parties . His team was professional and on point . 2 years ago Gappsi built and installed a beautiful new patio and outdoor kitchen and fireplace. I noticed the front part of chimney showed signs of cracking probably due to excessive heat from burning wood. I made one phone call to Guiseppe and he had his guys come over within 2 days and fixed the cracked bricks! They do quality work and more important they stand by there work! I will always recommend them to my family and friends. Thank you again for standing by your work!

Turned an uneven cemented backyard with an old pool liner and slide into a Backyard oasis. We love it so much that we already opened the pool for the season. I have had work done by GAPPSI for about 19 years. Ive had my driveway and entrance to my house done about 18 years ago.It came out beautiful. Ive had my backyard patio done with paving stones about 7 years ago.Recently I had a problem with the pavers in the back. I called and a crew was sent and completely addressed my concerns making it to look new. The workers were terrific and did a super job (top notch). All I can say is GAPPSI is a class outfit that stands behind their work. If you choose to use them you wont be disappointed. I would rate them 5Star Plus.

I have spent many years attempting to keep my pavers and driveway looking good. Polymeric sand and other online purchases of sealers ALL washed out and faded away after a few months. The ants, weeds and faded stones always returned. I found Gappsis Sealer Division while doing an online search. Jeff and his crew came in and removed all the old polymeric sand, weeds and ants by power washing with hot water provided by their on truck heaters, and returned the next day to spray their sealant. The first time they performed this, it lasted for 3 years. While still looking OK, we recently added some new pavers and concrete so we had them return to do it again. The stone and concrete now has a deep color and sheen, and the joints are very hard, no weeds or ants can get through. Jeff is a great guy to work with and his crew is very receptive and professional. I highly recommend them.

Gappsi installed my pool 7 years ago and recently just followed up with power washing, and sealing my travertine pavers. From start to finish they do an excellent job and definitely would use them again.

Gappsi transformed our backyard into a resort! We were living in our house for 12 years when we decided to create an entertaining backyard. We met with Giuseppe to design a backyard paradise. We discussed many ideas and looked at different layouts. Working together we designed a plan that gave us what we were looking for at a budget we could afford. Gappsi put ideas to paper and gave us a computer printout of what our project was going to look like. Our project began with a top quality pool. Then came our masonry work, you will not find better masons then Gappsi. The most important part of the project for my wife and I was the pool house. Gappsi built a very functional pool house, where we eat dinner all summer long. Thanks Giuseppe , we love it! The project included a hot tub and fire pit to keep our backyard fun going all year long. Our wish list also included a half court basketball court (actually my kids wish list) which they use all the time. Gappsi is a very professional company that listens to its customers and truly tries to make each and everyone of them feel special and part of the family. We all have stories of less then professional contractors that we have dealt with; Gappsi is NOT one of them. Our experience with Gappsi was a pleasure. Had bathroom renovation done back in Dec 2019. Father/son and assistant team renovated my bathroom. There were times where they made there own unilateral decisions on the tiling/window part of the job. They should be listening to the customer and not be so controlling on how they wish to work. Company should only focus on pools not home remodeling.

Gappsi has me now living in Nirvana!!! My backyard was a new builders mess, a nightmare and had a significant slope downward. They installed a beautiful multi level resort in my backyard. The built in gunite pool has a spill over spa and an auto-cover that keeps it warm, clean and well protected from things and little ones from falling in. Its a great safety feature. I can keep it closed and not worries at all. It opens in 30 seconds. The Travertine patio is large and expansive. The lower tier has a water feature and fire pit that and a nice touch at evening. Giuseppe and his entire team have always been professional and respectful. He has always answered the call to come back without hesitation to fix anything and everything. 4 years later, the backyard has filled in and is now a showstopper!!! I highly recommenced the Gappsi team!

From the get go we felt like we were in great hands with Giuseppe and he assured us the project would go great which it did. Tosh, the owner of the pool company was very genuine and even in the Covid environment his team managed to finish our pool in time to use it in 1 month and 3 weeks despite the pool supply shortages due to COVID. His guys worked really hard through the heat waves (97+ degrees) to ensure everything was done to perfection. We trusted Tosh to help us pick a liner and it came out amazing! He even came on install day to help his team to ensure a perfect fit. On the final day, his worker forgot a part for the pool, and came back to our house at 7:30 pm to install it just because they promised it would be done the same day! Just unbelievable customer service- Ali is a gem! We really appreciated Giuseppe and Toshs patience with us as it was our 1st time building a pool! They are both class acts and were always available to answer any questions we had. We couldn t be happier to have had them install our pool. I had my pool built by Gappsi six years ago, they did a great job on the original build. Recently one of the large coping stones covering the automatic cover split in half. I contacted Gappsi hoping that I could buy a replacement stone and hoping that I wouldnt have to buy a whole pallet. The office person gave the information to Giuseppe and within a week his guys came and not only gave me a replacement stone, but Giuseppe didnt even charge me for it.

When I first met Giuseppe, he explained the importance of a good 12 base for my driveway. I had cheaper quotes from my neighbors vendor. Sure it was tempting to go with something cheaper that looked just as good. I could always use that extra cash for something else. I stuck with my gut feeling and went with Gappsi. Now over a decade later my neighbors driveways have ripples and weeds. I had my driveway sealed over that period and it almost looks new. We all heard it before..You get what you pay for.

Gappsi even after 7 years, they still handled a minor problem the very next day and at no charge. Their customer service is great and quality is even better.

About eleven years ago my family and I decided to invest in an outdoor property of which we call a mini Caribbean vacation resort in our home. Gappsi is a real professional company And stand behind their work. They are a design build firm. Before a job is started, a complete set of drawings in 3-D are done and approved by customer. gappsi installed a 3000 sq.ft driveway with a designed layout of different style pavers. My backyard also came out amazing. They installed a beautiful pool with 3000sq.ft. of pavers around it. They also installed a built in barbecue with bar combo all done in cultured stone to match house on 800 sq.ft.. of natural stone. In addition, they built a 400sq.ft. Deck off patio that is a hot tub oasis. The landscape design is amazing as well. You will not find a better company to deal with.

I contacted Gappsi to clean and regrout my patio because they are located in close proximity to my home and they had great reviews. The problem is the salesman was quick to come to my house to give a free estimate 3 months ago and said he would be back to do work 2-3 weeks and I am still waiting. They are not very reliable and my guess is that they work on commission and only opt to do the more expensive jobs!

I contracted Gapsi to build an in-ground pool with a patio fireplace and landscaping (the whole works!) It was definitely a lengthy project but I had no doubts on the quality and customer expertise that Gapssi delivered upon once engaged. The entire process was seamless from choosing materials , 3 D rendering and execution . It could have not turned out any better. My backyard looks stunningly beautiful. Quality indeed comes at a price. Mr. Abbrancati delivered on all his promises but most importantly he reassured me the work was going to be done on a timely and efficient manner.

I have had work done by GAPPSI several times including patio around my in ground pool, my patio next to my house, and my front walkway and steps. In fact, my basement wall had a crack in it, so they removed my previous patio, dug down and repaired the basement wall, and then installed a new patio with 2 sets of stairs. This year part of the patio around my pool was becoming uneven near the diving board. Even though that was 16 years old, Giuseppe, the owner, came in person and said he would repair it. In addition the water wasn t draining at one end of the patio during heavy rains. Again, Giuseppe sent his workers to fix it by installing a drain. I was not charged a dime for all these repairs. That is unbelievable customer service! I will definitely have future work done by GAPPSI! - A very satisfied customer!!!

We decided to use Gappsi to install our pool coping and artificial grass in our backyard. What a pleasant experience! From start to finish Jeff was such a pleasure to work with. This August 2020 I called Gappsi to install synthetic turf in my back yard alongside my patio because i knew they would go a great job as they did with the travertine patio. I was Right! The turf they install looks amazingly natural and feels soft. Jeff and his crew were dedicated and professional from beginning to end. Jeff patiently explained everything to me, answered call my questions, and made sure i was satisfied with the job. Their customer service is impeccable!!! Gappsi uses quality products and does Quality work. I highly recommend them. Not to mention my pup loves the turf also Back in 2015, Gappsi had also done an amazing job installing the Travertine stone we chose called Fiorito that Gappsi himself imports. It s truly a beautiful stone and unlike anything else we has seen on the island. The crew operated very professionally. They always showed up when they were supposed to, worked hard all day, and cleaned up at the end of the job. Ask to speak with Giuseppe the owner. I hired Gappsi in 2017 to renovate an existing vinyl liner chlorine pool and old wooden deck. They transformed it into a beauitful salt water vinyl pool with auto cover and travertine stone patio with fire pit and stone bench and put together a sun gazebo, and replaced the old winter cover to a loop loc cover. In the beginning there were many complications throughout this project and took longer than expected to complete, in the end it was a success. Although the auto cover was complicated to install and set up, it has been the best investment. It saves time on cleaning the pool as well as chemicals . Everyone admires the stone work and pool. It has provided and will continue to provide many years of satisfaction and enjoyment for the entire family. Gappsi recently came back in 2020 to install a porcelain tile floor in the pool house, as well as renovated the landscaping in the backyard. After the landscaping was done, some of the work needed to be fixed, Giuseppe send some workers to get the job fixed and complete. They have come back year after year to replace stones that have cracked or got loose over time. I plan on having the Gappsi team come back and renovate the basement in the near future.

My problem was I had a 60 year old pool that went from 3 feet to 12 feet on the very steep slope and my young grandchildren were only able to enjoy about a 10th of the pool because there was no place for them to stand. Then things got worse the pool cracked right in half and all I could think about was how do I get rid of this monster. Then a neighbor recommended I call Giuseppe at Gappsi Pools, and I am glad I did. His experience and ideas saved the day. His recommendation was to incorporate a shallow area called a Sun Deck that was 18 inches deep (my 2 & 3 year old grandchildren), then underwater steps going to a 3 foot deep play area (for the 6, 8 & 9 year old s), then gradually to 8 feet for the big ones. When my 6-year-old said Grandpa this is the best pool ever , I told him Thanks to Giuseppe .

Gappsi redid my entire pool. They installed a new liner, checked the plumbing installed new coping and a new bluestone patio. All the work was completed on time and at a great price. More importantly, the crew, made sure to take care of an issues that arose quickly and happily. The lead on the team, Greg, was extremely knowledgeable and affable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work done on their pool.

This is an outstanding company!! My paver Patio was ruined over 1 year ago by incompetent workers who had done a Horrible seal job complete with footprints embedded on the pavers and all over the patio as well as my pvc fence ruined. I called Gappsi pavers and Jeff Jimenez came over to our Home, he sat with us for over an hour, immediately calmed us down and told us don t worry we are going to fix this patio for you . The original project was done almost 5 years ago and this year I submitted a request for service to repair/replace stones in some areas that were damaged. The Gappsi team responded quickly. They made no promises because of their existing, heavily booked schedule but within 2 weeks and a total of two brief visits they repaired the problems and my yard was back to its magnificent original condition. These guys really stand behind their work, even five years later! This year 2020 provided us with significantly more home time and each time we set foot into our backyard we were so thankful we made the decision to go with Gappsi for our backyard project. If you want brick or stone work done on your property, call Gappsi, they know what they are doing. In 2006, owner Giuseppe designed beautiful patios and walkways around my house. This year, we ran into a problem with the walkway covering the septic tank which needed attention. After our contractor purged the septic tank, the Gappsi crew with operations manager Jeff Jimenez, worked with me to get the walkway put back together. What a great job. Is very hard to discern that any work was done. In addition to the excellent technical work, Jeff and the Gapssi crew were quick, reliable and polite. It is very refreshing to know, that after the installation 12 years ago, Gappsi stands by their work and their word.

Giuseppe, Tosh and their team did a wonderful job building our pool. They were easy to work with, addressed all of our questions and were very professional. Our pool looks amazing. I cant wait for summer! I would highly recommend them.

Our experience with Gappsi began in August., 2017 and it was purely by chance. My husband found their website, and dropped by their business after setting up an appointment with another pool builder down the block from them. Immediately upon walking into their place of business, he received a hospitable reception which gave him the warm and fuzzy feeling he likes to get when doing a business transaction. This is his indication of an honest, trustworthy company. And his intuition proved to be right. Having spent months prior doing research, we knew exactly what we wanted, a gunite pool to fit the existing landscape of our nice sized yard. The owner, Giuseppe Abbrancati, came out, took notes and pictures of our yard, and within a week, had computer generated renderings, which we were able to modify on the spot. Giuseppe and his son, Emmanuel, did a phenomenal job at giving us exactly what we wanted, instead of trying to sell us on the expensive add-on features that we didn t want. And what that enabled us to do was go bigger with our free-form design, one of the largest residential gunite pools they had done and at a very reasonable price. The only major hiccup was when their project manager had to be replaced, but once that hurdle was overcome, the newly assigned project manager, Tash, made sure getting our pool, the gas lines, the electrical, the masonry, the sodding and landscaping were all completed in time for the opening of our pool in June, 2018. We are delighted and thrilled beyond measure at our resort style backyard. We would recommend Gappsi, a family run business, to all!! We had Gappsi design a beautiful Gunite pool surrounded by a large Travertine patio, pavilion with outdoor kitchen and we are thrilled with the results. It really looks like Heaven. Anytime we were unsure about anything, all the suggestions that Gappsi made turned out perfectly for us. We are planning another project for our front yard and we are going with Gappsi without any concerns since we are already so excited about our amazing dream backyard!

Installed K-9 artificial turf... the BEST decision ever and Gapsi was pleasure to work with. Our fur boys love running around and we love having NO dog paw prints in house on a daily basis. A win win and having Gapsi to do the work was a true score !!!! They also redid our patio area with installed fire pit and we love down time in our beautiful back yard where the grass is now always green! Our family and friends love hanging there. I had a small cleaning job to do and most companies didn t want to bother. When they came out to look at the job and asked if this was a rush job, I told them no. They than told me they would be able to do it in 2 to 3 weeks. They said they would fit it in at the end of another job but couldn t give me an exact date. They told me if I wasn t home when they could do it that they would do it for me and I could send them a payment later on. The job was cleaning a concrete walkway, a brick walkway, a small entranceway to the house and a 50 foot retaining wall. The original job was only retaining wall and entranceway. He told me he could do the other jobs at the same time for a small fee. The job cost was somewhere around 550 and was done to-near perfection. It took a second day to do the job as the walkways didn t dry enough for him to seal. Came back 2 days latter to seal job. Most of the job looked brand new. Have plans for them to come back and do more work. Very rarely am I 100% satisfied. This is one of the few times I was. Herb Buchbinder

My experience with Guiseppe started before he was Gappsi many many years ago when he first started out and did work for my parents. They were very pleased. Naturally when I was searching for a company to install my pool and do masonry work I turned to Gappsi in 2011. Guiseppe was involved from the beginning. The work came out great. Gappsi did a complete pool, patio and driveway installation using granite pavers. Several years later I needed some additional masonry work done and once again turned to Gappsi and without hesitation they completed the work. Guiseppe is available if problems arise and works to address them quickly. I recommend Gappsi and think youll be pleased if you choose them too.

We enjoyed working with the entire Gappsi group that installed our new Bocce ball court in our yard. The work is professionally done and the crew is extremely friendly and will do anything they can to satisfy you. The court was busy with players on the 4th of July. The Gappsi group is also very accommodating to start and finish the job quickly and on time. Well done.

We had a major multi-phase project planned including new deck, hot tub, 2 pergolas, patio, pool, and paver driveway/walkway. My wife, who is very detail oriented and has good vision of what she wants, shared with Giuseppe. He listened and late one night prior to going on vacation, came up with another set up plans, that while not completely what we projected, we were blown away with the conceptual view he created and agreed. The total project was a lot of moving pieces and with different crews and took more time than we wanted, some admittedly related to weather but I also thought the Gappsi was much in demand. That was the disappointing part of the project outside of dealing with the town, but I must also say that the quality of work and the final results were better than we expected. Giuseppe takes great pride in his work and that of his team. Martin and Peter did an outstanding with the deck, the patio/driveway and pool came out great. We were also referred to a Landscaping partner that did a great job and provided very useful information. I never take the time to write reviews but I was truly impressed with Giuseppes professionalism and commitment to providing a project exceeding his customers expectations and I appreciated his personal involvement with any little issue that may have come up. If you want a high quality outdoor project, you cant go wrong with Gappsi.

I hired Gappsi to power wash, re sand and seal my pavers. Their crew of 3 led by Jamie showed up and went to work. My pavers were looking very dingy. After 2 days of work my backyard looks great. After the power washing my pavers looked great and 2 days later they were sanded and sealed. They now look beautiful. The workers did a wonderful job and I highly recommend Gappsi.

I ve known Giuseppe for many years and had pavers installed around my pool many years ago. His team recently power washed, cleaned, re sanded and resealed all the pavers which over the years began to show its age. The transformation is unbelievable and have now come to life once again. I really couldnt say nicer things about Gappsi - they were a pleasure to work with from start to finish! Everyone we interacted with - and there were many - was extremely friendly and welcoming. I never felt like I was being sold too, I felt like they were helping me design what my wife and I wanted, and presented different options that helped align that with our budget. They completely tore down our old deck, installed our new patio, and built our new stairs within 2 weeks - there were no delays outside of poor weather, and no additional charges outside of what we agreed to at the beginning. First time we walked into the store, we met the owner, Mr. Giuseppe. He was very welcoming and concerned and helpful about our project. It was a big project, swimming pool, cabana, landscaping, fire pit etc. There were some issues thats expected with this magnitude of work. But he handled it all and made sure we were happy at the end. The end result is magnificent, and we could not be more pleased. Very hard to find a pool company to trust, but he did everything he promised. A great business man and a great contractor.

We had an in ground pool installed by Gappsi pools. We met Giuseppe over a year ago when we first decided to have a pool installed. We developed a relationship with Giuseppe after months of designing the pool and realized we needed time to install it. Over time Giuseppe sent us holiday messages and never pressured us to get the pool. When we were ready we received a couple of estimates and he wasn t the cheapest not most expensive but he was comparable. It has been a pleasure dealing with Giuseppe through a very difficult process. If you ever have construction done at your home it is hard no matter who you use BUT when the owner is responsive and resolves all problems even those not caused by his team you feel comfortable and secure. We recently had Giuseppe and the Gappsi crew redo our entire backyard. Together we designed our own resort. We have been customers of his for over 15 years back to when he did our driveway and patio. We knew when it was time to redo our backyard there was only one place to go. His team helped design our yard. They would suggest what they could do or modify from what we originally brought him as a design. His son Emanuelle showed us exactly how the yard would look as the design started to come together. If I being totally honest, I know they are not the lowest priced contractor, but they aren t the highest either. But where else are you going to work directly with the owner, have him onsite to overlook the project and have his cell phone in case you need it. His entire crew were great and all reachable whenever. His foreman Greg even was reachable while he was in Europe on vacation. Our project was big, first off they had a pool, deck, retaining walls and a big patio to demo before anything else could be started. They did a pool, waterfall, outdoor kitchen, pavilion, and fire pit area and small deck area with a new slider glass door. With a project of this magnitude, you can always expect hiccups, or delays as there are a lot of moving parts that need to be handled daily. The difference is how the contractor handles those problems. Giuseppe and his crew handled anything that did arise and 100% stand behind the amazing work they do. They have been in business for a long time because they stand behind the work and always do the right thing.

Gappsi has performed work at my home for nearly 15 years. Driveway pavers, pool patio and resurfacing of a gunite pool. The Company does excellent work but more importantly if you have an issue; Giuseppe, the owner, and Tosh will make it right. They re not the cheapest guys around, but you get good value coupled with the assurance that the company is reputable and backs up its work.

We took on a big backyard renovation this summer using Gappsi in Smithtown. We went to the showroom last year and from the minute we went in and met Giuseppe, the owner, we recognized we would be in good hands. We were nervous and kept putting the job aside out of fear of something going wrong and knowing we would be spending a large amount of money. We felt at ease with his wealth of knowledge, and especially after visiting jobs completed by Gappsi, we knew we were in good hands. We also were impressed with his level of patience and how he answered every single question we had and never rushed us out of his showroom (he even met us on a Sunday when the showroom was closed). Our planning began with having to remove an existing disaster of an old pool surrounded by patios and fencing in an upper level of the yard; we would be faced with new grading issues and also trying to savage some trees we didn t want to lose. Giuseppe planned every detail meticulously and reassured us the job would be done perfectly. Finally this summer, a year later, we put in a new in-ground pool and surrounding patios. The backyard was designed and transformed into a beautiful setting, and we absolutely love it. It gives us a feeling of being away on vacation! The stone is absolutely beautiful that we picked at the show room, and the workmanship is perfection. The workers show up every single day, weather permitting and stay very late. They all work very hard. Giuseppe has a lot of patience and any question/problem that would arise would be discussed almost immediately and rectified. I highly recommend Giuseppe s expertise when it comes to masonry and design. We couldn t be any happier with our backyard. We used our pool more this summer than in the past 18 years! Over the summer, I decided to build the backyard of my dreams. After seeing Gappsi s portfolio of backyard renovations, I was beyond impressed with their expertise in masonry work and design. My vision for the backyard was the Four Seasons hotel. I wanted an atmosphere that felt like you were on vacation. After meeting Giuseppe the owner, I knew I was in good hands. I appreciated his knowledge and detailed explanations. Emanuelle, Giuseppe s son created several designs of my backyard that specifically tailored to all my needs and more! Their showroom had a great variety of stones to choose from. I decided to use mocha travertine for my patio and classico travertine for my pool coping. I wanted a water feature that felt upscale. Giuseppe advised me to install several jets that would spray from the ground into the pool. This idea was brilliant! He recommended nantucket stacked stone on the raised foundation walls around my entire home. I wanted my backyard to have 2 grand entrances that had matching wedding cake staircases, using both mocha and classico travertine. We decided to build a small retaining wall around my entire backyard to polish and accentuate my thuja green giants backdrop. The retaining wall also created an enormous amount of seating for entertaining which I loved!! Roberto was the foreman assigned to my backyard project. Roberto and his crew were fantastic. They worked around the clock to meet my deadline. Their workmanship was meticulous. They delivered the elegance and sophistication I wanted! This project was very expensive but totally worth the investment! Giuseppe surpassed my expectations!! My backyard blows the four seasons away :) Hiring Gappsi was the best decision!

Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We were guided through various types of stone and options for our pool patio and waterfall and are very happy with Giuseppi s recommendations. We decided on a durable light colored marble for the caping and patio, and stacked white marble for our waterfall, which look great and won t get too hot during the summer!

I have been very pleased with the quality of work from Gappsi. Not only was the work we requested done well, but they came back day after day until the job was done. They never left us hanging or waiting for the job to be finished. They were efficient, clean, very courteous, and cared about making me happy. Great selection of stone and excellent price. We searched the island for a stone that isn t a concrete paver, is not too hot in the sun and isn t porous like travertine. Giuseppe recommended the Pompeii Limestone. Installation was easy and it looks great.

We hired Gappsi this summer to do a complete backyard project. We chose a free form in-ground vinyl pool, travertine patio, composite desk and full landscaping. From the moment we met Giuseppe to go over initial designs, the process was great. He helped us come up with a design that fits our relatively small space, and accommodated all of our on the fly change requests without a question. We worked with Tosh and his crew to do the liner/equipment/plumbing, Greg and his crew for the patio/deck, and Joe and his crew for the landscaping. In all cases, when talking with any of these guys or Giuseppe himself, the communication is what put this experience over the top. I feel they truly listened to what we wanted and did not try to push their ideas on us. Beyond that, they did not hesitate to take calls and/or return text messages at time/day of the week. Combine that with the quality of the work and the final result, and you end up with an overall great experience. Plan on using any/or of these guys again for other projects! I am so very grateful to Jeff and the Gappsi team. Jeff was amazing, professional, and honest. We had our pavers power washed, repaired, sanded, and sealed. They also power washed the driveway, sidewalk, and fence. The team was meticulous and extremely hard working. The work they did was so impressive that all of my neighbors came over to comment and compliment the work. I would highly recommend Jeff- the Gappsi team. They are the best! Thank you Jeff!!!

Gappsi did my patio area in the front and back of house several years ago and when I called for some minor repairs tbeh came back and took care of it. The crew run by Jeffrey did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them if you need a patio done by a reputable company.

I am so delighted to have met such a wonderful company to seal my pavers. Everything was explained to me and any of my concerns were taken care of. The crew was extremely nice as well as Jeff who gave me the estimate. I would recommend them to anyone for their project.
