TLDR: if you need work done, use Jones Curb Appeal!!!! I am extremely allergic to pine, so when we moved into our new house and the builder had left pine trees in the yard, I knew I needed to remove them and plant something else. I called around and spoke with about 5 companies for quotes. Not only was Jones Curb Appeal the quickest to respond and come out for a quote, they also were at or below every other quote. I ended up having them remove several trees and clear a section of the lot. They ground out all of the stumps and removed all of the wood. They even raked up the area where they removed the trees, collecting the branches, pine cones, and sweet gums balls (I have never had a tree removal company rake up the area before!). I interacted with a few of the workers as they did their thing, they were all very polite and seemed like genuinely kind people who were knowledgeable about what they were doing. Their tools were well maintained, which shows me they take pride in their work and are responsible with things in their care. I was fascinated by their stump grinder, I had never seen one that was remote controlled before (watching them use that was almost worth the cost alone lol). The area looks great and I am so glad that I used them! They were very professional, did great work, and had wonderful customer service! I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

Leaves, leaves, and more leaves! We have a lot of trees in our yard, and we fell a little behind in upkeep during the holidays. When we finally had some time this past weekend, we did some raking and leaf blowing, and WOW, we had a lot of leaves. Usually, we haul everything on a trailer and make multiple trips to the dump, but it was the holidays, and we were feeling lazy. So, instead, we called Jones Curb Appeal for leaf removal pricing, and I'm glad we did! The pricing was reasonable, they came out the very next day, and it sure did save us a ton of time on yard work with their fancy equipment. We were so pleased; we are now inquiring about regular yard maintenance! Highly recommended!
The Jones Curb Appeal team did a great job carefully removing a fallen tree off or my gazebo and patio. They are professional and safe and provided a fair price. They had the right equipment and experience and were able to take care of it the following day after reviewing and quoting the job. I highly recommend them!

I'm a neighbor to a client of your at the Waterford oaks neighborhood. Ive asked your crew several last year and twice this year to not 1- blow the mulched clippings into my property. They have weeds and I'm trying to keep my lawn weed free. As your crew(s) mow and constantly push the weeds onto my property my plan i have cannot keep up and they then spread. My hired company has stated such as well. 2- In response to not blowing it into my lawn, now the crew(s) unevenly cut and scalp onto my property. The fence pictured is surveyed too town code 15 feet to the line. Permit too, due to drain pipe easement. Please stop. Thanks

Kevin and his crew did a great job grading our yard after we had a well drilled there. They removed a significant amount of clay, leid down top soil, and planted grass seed in a professional, timely way with an attractive outcome.

I have a laundry list of unacceptable services/behaviors this company exhibited. -Did not complete the agreed upon services; -Poor quality; -Plants died shortly after they planted them; -Non-responsive customer service rep; and - They took the money with no follow-up. Absolutely would not recommend, ever!!!

I had an old pecan tree hanging over my neighbors yard which caused him great distress. One large storm and it couldve have landed on his house. I called JCA and they were there in a jiffy sawing and clearing away the tree and debris. I really appreciate the quick response and my neighbor says thank you also.

Great experience with Jones Curb Appeal. I called in a time I needed services immediately and they we able to accommodate. The job was done in a very short time and the cut was perfect. I couldve has asked for a better experience.
With so much on my plate I was so happy that they came today and mowed the yard.
I saw a sign on the side of the road stating MULCH and a phone number of 818-3248. I called it to ask if they delivered pea gravel, as I wanted to place it around my home to reduce weed issues and help with drainage. Kevin came out to get an idea of the size of the job to provide an estimate. I was provided a quote the following week and accepted it. The initial estimate was low, but they were able to adjust on the fly to provide more. The crew came out on hot humid days, and worked tirelessly to get the job done. They ran out of some supplies, & ended up having to come back to fix a couple minor issues. The initial job looked so good that I realized I should have had my driveway and walkways included initially. I asked if they could come out to place more gravel on my drive and walkways while they fixed the other issues, and they did so without issue or complaint! Great company, professional employees, and a happy customer in the end. I would highly recommend anyone consider using Jones Curb Appeal for any of their exterior landscape projects!

Dont waste your time or money with this company. All Ive gotten are excuses, no solutions, and rude customer service. Response to the owner: Your statements are incorrect. The rudeness I referred to was the fact I kept being blown off by your staff. I never said I was more important than your other customers, but being put in the back of the queue several times and not getting responses from email support is frustrating. As to the payment, you admitted on the phone you had not sent a bill. Also, you did not offer a solution to the two incorrect services, only to fix it for the future. Misleading readers is extremely unprofessional. I stand by my review. A copy of the email is forwarded for you.
I am a residential customer with lots of mature trees. I have used JCA a few times now for limbing up, tree removal, stump grinding, and leaf removal. I shopped contractors in IOW and Kevin was the most professional, easiest to interact with, and reasonable on cost. Quality/value of services is 5 stars, scheduling/communication with the office is 4 stars. Depending on the time of year you may need to wait or be flexible with getting worked in quicker.
There was some initial communication difficulty, which the company addressed. They did great work at our house and the new mulch looks wonderful! They also took the time to clear the sidewalks around the beds and left the area looking very tidy.

This is my 2nd season using Jones Curb Appeal. I gave 4 stars because there were some minor hiccups (nothing important that needs to be mentioned). Jessi is very helpful and provides timely responses to inquiries. The team comes out and cuts the grass, trims the shrubs and maintains the flower bed. I love that Im on a regular schedule and they make an effort to come out before it rains/storms, and theyre usually done in ~ 20 mins (important because I work from home). Its nice to have a company that is focused on customer service and quality. UPDATED stars from 4 to 2: Season 3 of using the company: The company could not provide consistent service of maintaining shrubs and flower bed, but billed for full payment. There is one team that mows and another that does the landscaping. One member of the mow team was not professional; the company rarely sent the landscaping team to my home. Seems like the company took on more work than they could handle, and the smaller residences suffered as a result.
Wow, where to start. Ive used Jones for a number of services and their services are always reasonably priced. Ive used them for shrub trimming, mulch delivery and installation and most recently to excavate an area for a new patio. They went above and beyond the job expectations and since I was physically unable to do it at the time (knee surgery) laid out the stakes and lines for the required slope for the patio. Really appreciate this small business and will continue to use them for future projects.

We had a two man team remove 6 trees from our property and 3 were very large sky scrapers. They did a great job dropping those huge trees exactly where they wanted them to land. I was a little worried but these guys knew what they were doing and they have the heavy equipment to tackle any size tree.. They grounded out the stumps and cleaned up the wood chips. The yard now looks like the trees never existed. Fairly priced too! I would recommend JCA to anyone looking for tree removal. Contact Jessie at JCA who does a great job keeping you abreast of when, where and cost. Now Im asking them to plant some new trees! We will see how that goes and I will let you know.
