As far as Im concerned this company will never get my business or nor will I never recommend them after they constantly ignore my resume ignore my phone calls I have left professional messages and hoping to get some responses to whats going and nothing as far as Im concerned they are rude and unprofessional no decency for someone who is trying to show interest in working for there company

Several months ago I had armyworms and a good friend of mine who owns a big lawn care company in another part of the state told me to get in touch with Barefoot Lawn Care. Although they had a full schedule of appointments, they were sympathetic to my situation and had Jonathan come out and take a look the next day and sent out another employee who took care of the problem the day after that. I immediately signed up for their maintenance program and then this morning one of their employees came out to perform another fertilizer service and I could not be more impressed his professionalism and effort concerning my yard. I cant believe Im going to say this but thank God for armyworms because without them I would have never found Barefoot Lawn Care.

(It was 2 weeks ago but I did not get the service techs name.) Today- after texting Kailee previously, I recieved a follow up call from Barefoot and Jonathan the field tech arrived promptly. He offered great feedback regarding my concern. Great service and follow up as always. Thank you to the Barefoot team. (Kailee, the service tech on August 3rd and Jonathan) Update 5/30/23- Dennis Dewitt- professional, polite, receptive to concerns, great work as always. Thanks Dennis Update -Thomas equally made sure the job was done right. Another exceptional employee of Barefoot. Thank you nice job Tyler and Adelfo had returned three times to aerate and limed my lawn. Each time they were both concerned the ground was to wet and the aeration machine could cause damage to my yard. I appreciate their concern because there were in fact puddles on my yard from the prior days rain. Both Tyler and Adelfo should be recognized as valued employees of Barefoot. When I call the office, the girls are so nice & always helpful. The men who apply the treatments are very thorough. They drive slowly enough so its all applied and their foam dividers are easy to see! They all do a wonderful job, thank you! *08/29 Yesterday, Dylan applied Army Worm pesticide. I stopped him to ask about the worms & he was so helpful. He walked me around my yard, showing me their damage, eggs & the moth they grow to be. Very informative & polite! My regular technician is Drew and he is also excellent! Any question answered & both men were very thorough applying their product. I am so pleased with Barefoot Lawn & my Lawn looks great!!

Just want to give a big pat on the back of the young man Kevin who visited my yard just recently after the initial visit was postponed due to my back yard being partially under water. Honestly, I would rate Barefoot Lawn Care at least 10 stars. In spite of all the rain weve had and the days of high heat index, they actually came to do the work two days ahead of schedule. They went to work Immediately and I am totally pland they saved pleased with the workmanship, and saved me some HOA fines. I ve been using Barefoot for a few years now and my yard has gone from green weeds to a solid green field of Bermuda. Very happy with them and especially impressed with Thomas. I ve had other techs for barefoot out previously but Thomas has an unmatched attention to detail and is always pleasant and willing to answer any questions.

The team led by Jacob Nobling did a wonderful job installing approx 13 yards of mulch. They took great care to be mindful of the many plants in the beds when layering my the mulch. I switched to Barefoot Lawn Care this year after using another company the past couple years. It s a night and day difference after having two treatments. The Office Staff was great when I had to talk to them last week to reschedule. We have had great Technicians out both times who were very thorough and detailed in their work. Jacob Dewitt was out today and was thorough in his work. This is drastically different than the rush jobs I got the past two years from their competitor.

I am impressed with the representative who came to the house to give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and gave us options. The company is personable, responsive, and professional. They came to do the first treatment within the five business days from when we signed up. If you are looking for lawn care, give them a call!

Barefoot is the greatest.

Horrible customer service and when confronted about only doing 1/2 the yard, lied about the reasons why. It s only our second application and when Lee from Barefoot came to spray the trees and shrubs, he blocked our driveway so my husband had to ask him to move so he could take my son to school. At this point, he only sprayed the front and side, missing the back, and around the property line (as indicated in our file). Instead of finishing the job, he drives off after my husband is gone. I was watching. So I called the company and asked for him to come back to finish the job. I spoke directly to him and he told me that flowering shrubs are not sprayed. But what about the rest? He said that the formulas potency would kill the rest of the other plants. So what am I paying for? A manager came to walk my yard so I can be sure and more clear on what work is going to be done that I am paying for. Turns out, the potency of the formula is not an issue at all. When I asked for the service to be completed l, I was met with a warning that my shrubs and trees will die. Not reassurances, no apology, no customer service. When the service was finally completed, I came home to my yard littered with signs that indicated where they sprayed. 5+ signs is not only rude, condescending, but very unprofessional. I called to cancel the service that night.

Jose came by and did a great job to ensure everywhere that was needing to be sprayed got the proper treatment of pre-emergent/ post emergent. He went above and beyond to show his Trainee -Tyler how to properly spray a yard in its entirety. I m very particular, so he exceeded my expectations and hope he continues to be our Technician in the future.

I have never had to leave a phone message! Barefoots website is easy to navigate. Plus, it gives us the added choices of paying online, or reviewing and selecting other lawn treatments. An added bonus are emailed newsletters that inform us of lawn related issues in real time. We have seen an impressive improvement in our lawn since we started using them two years ago. They are a premier lawn care service in the Leland area.

Drew from Barefoot Lawn service came yesterday but after seeing how windy it was here decided to come back today when it was less windy here. He took his time explaining what the service (killing weeds) was for and followed up with an email stating what he had done. Always responsive to any question or need I have. Their staff, both in the office and those that come on site, are ALWAYS polite and professional. Today Tyler came and performed my service and is always meticulous in his effort! A+++++ My wife and I recently relocated from MD. I had a brand name lawn care service while in MD but the only thing that company would do for me was come and put product on my yard. With Barefoot and Associates I get exactly what I was hoping for, advice/recommendations on what specifically can be done to continually improve the looks of my lawn and if I have any questions whatsoever in between services they are always responsive to my inquiries. The associates that come to my home to service the lawn are always polite and professional. Scott and his team have been providing services for my family since 2008. Sure, we can get cheaper, less quality services somewhere else, but remember you get what you pay for. The technician introduced himself and told me what he was applying. We talked about my new sod installation and how we needed to wait until it roots sufficiently before applying weed control. He asked if I had any questions. Great guy.

Dylan was the best. Just started with this company 2 months ago and they are EXCELLENT. Dylan has done 2 treatments so far on my lawns. We use them at our business and home. First round knocked three years worth the weeds down. This company and Dylan get an A+. Highly recommend this company.

We are extremely happy with Barefoot. They have done such a good job for us that all of our immediate neighbors have started using their service. Barefoot is run by the same family as the local Propane Butler, I use them both. When personal interaction is required Scott and everyone else on his team have been excellent.

Outstanding service on a house I bought. Cleared and graded backyard, put in flower beds, and added drainage control. Couldnt be any more pleased with results.

Great service and really good attention to detail. I ve used them for lawn fertilization, hardscaping, and some one-off needs here and there. They aren t the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

I have been using barefoot law care for Approximately 10 months. Today I had my lawn aerated and lime put down, as always the two gentleman were very professional and answered any questions I had. They also cleaned up where as there is no mess on my hardscaping surfaces. I would definitely recommend Barefoot lawn care if you are looking for lawn care service. Barefoot lawn care was also very accommodating with scheduling as I waiting to have utilities marked.

After discovering that they werent able to offer the services I needed and in my area of Wake Forest, I suggested updating some of the information on the website for clarity and to save others like me time. That recommendation was quickly followed up by a personal phone call from the president of the company with an apology and recommendations of other companies in the areas that may be able to provide the services I was looking for. He was professional and took ownership for the confusion. If they handle lawncare and their other services like they handle customer service, then they are likely to be a great local business to work with.

We use Barefoot for weed and feed services throughout the year, with a couple of seasonal services like aeration and lime. A couple of years ago, they also planted 10 crepe myrtles for us. We recently used Barefoot Lawn Care Inc. because of a recommendation from a friend and we were very satisfied with the experience. Our service tech, Raymond, was exceptional and made a special effort to come aerovate on a Friday afternoon after he was technically done with his work week. He did a more thorough job than most would. We will certainly use them again in the future and highly suggest them for your personal lawncare needs!

Barefoot service has declined severely. My lawn was great for a couple of years and the last two summers everything browned out and weeds took over. When I complained they said they werent at fault. Im highly pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and expertise of Barefoot Lawn Care. For example: The results are highly obvious when comparing weed control in a Barefoot Yard to most other yards using different lawn care companies.

Since we began using Barefoot and Associates turf management and weed control services we can see an obvious improvement in our lawn. Within a season we were enjoying a nice green and nearly weed free landscape. Barefoot s has provided me with numerous services over the years, from professional landscape design and installation, hardscape design and install, and mulching. I have NEVER had a bad experience! The staff are professional and friendly and very accommodating to our needs always giving a beautiful finished product. It s also worth mentioning how CLEAN they are with their work. Plant trimmings, mulch and all debris are cleared away at the end of the project. If I could give this company TWENTY gold stars, I would!

Barefoot has always been courteous and on time. I started using them in the fall of 2022. The very reasonable cost is well worth it. I don t have to fight the weeds anymore.They sprayed for winter weeds and fertilizer. There s not a single winter weed in the entire yard. I can t wait til spring of 2023 and have more lawn than weeds. Most definitely recommend them.

This is our 2nd year using Barefoot and we are more than pleased with their services. Barefoot Associate Dylan is amazing! Kudos to him! We really like how he applies our application and are excited to have him service our lawn for future visits. He pays attention to the detail, cleans up prior to leaving and does not dig up our smalller front yard using the heavier equipment and instead uses a hand sprayer to apply the application. The Barefoot team is always so responsive. They listen to the customer and offer educational materials to the customer throughout the year about overall lawn maintenance/care that is really helpful.
