I have called a couple of companies about building me a platform and a wall to park my Atv's on the 1st guy didn't show much interest so I guess he just through me a price that was going to commit to. The 2nd guy gave me a price really low but didn't show up to do the work so I finally got in touch with Mike with Golden strip landscapes I told him what I wanted he. Said ok we chat fir a few I like a person of action if I'm willing to pay atleast say yes or no on the work much respect to Mike and his company 10 thumbs up 100% I love the platform bottom line ignore the wannabes Golden Strip is #1
I have know Mike Lee for 40 years. We went to school together and shared in the same passion for landscaping. My life did not go forward in this trade but Mike Lee did continue and follow this course throughout his life. He has done some amazing and creative work. His skills are beautiful – the artistry, symmetry, and attention to detail in everything he does from design to installation is outstanding. Highly recommended him.

Mike had a difficult task with our project. Former owner of our home allowed Asiatic Jasmine take over a hill, large juniper plants died as a result, leaving many roots, plus we'd removed an ailing maple tree (stump removed but not roots). We hired Mike as he is a knowledgeable Horticulturist. Am an avid gardener. I like a natural and diverse landscape requiring little pruning with an addition of perennials to add color. Mike had several good suggestions. Initially I had concerns about the removal of a significant cypress tree close to front entrance. However HIS CALL was the correct one. I have another landscape project in mind, but other projects for this 23 year old house must be completed first. Mike did not do "hardscaping" for us. However, when he removed the horrific Jasmine, he discovered some extruded curbing along our lot line which has proven effective in controlling water run off during heavy rain storms. Note to all: Allows 2-3 years for your newly designed and planted garden/yard to develop. Mike is a careful installer; homeowner care the first year. Mother Nature does the rest.
Mike has done an extensive amount of landscaping for me. He landscaped the area in our backyard around our pool and all the foundation planting in our front yard, as well as other plant beds. He always stands behind his work. He is on time and responsive to any questions. I will call Mike for any landscaping projects that arise.
When Mr Lee came to give our estimate he was very personable. Focusing on what we were looking for; as well as making suggestions. Great detail was given in a design plan, prior to doing the work. Mike is very knowledgeable. He not only knows what will look good, but exactly what types of plants, shrubs & trees will work best. We highly recommend his work….. He’s a true craftsman!
So Grateful I hired this company! I asked them to come out and help with my dilapidated landscape. Mike came out with plenty of advise and recommended a new landscape design. I was a bit apprehensive to spend money on the design, DON'T be! The design worked out perfectly, then I hired Golden Strip Landscaping to install most of the new plants. They worked within my budget and left behind some of the smaller planting for my self and my husband to to tackle. We both enjoy the outdoors and it was not too difficult. I was equally impressed with the fact we got the WHOLE garden we wanted and Mike helped us budget to get our new outdoor oasis. I would highly recommend Golden Strip Landscaping if you are looking for a true professional landscaper.
I could not be happier! I hired Golden Strip Landscaping to help grade my yard to reduce the erosion in my back yard. Not only did he explain what the crew would do, Mike also recommended I make a country road though my back woods. Now I can traverse my whole yard with my tractor. and he helped me create areas for brush, tree limbs and compost so now my environmental recycling of debris is much easier. Mike came in on time on budget and he actually did MORE than I hired him for. I HIGHLY recommend Golden Strip Landscaping for all your landscape, hardscape, drainage and planting needs.
They came out and I did awesome job. Mike the owner came out gave me a upfront quote for all work and they came in right on budget. He even fixed a small drainage issue without adding it the bill. At the end of the day they finished on time in budget I would recommended Golden Strip for all your landscaping need. I will definitely call for my next project.
I needed an extremely overgrown area cleared, graded and some gravel put down for a greenhouse. I really wasnt sure what kind of base I would need. Mike came out to give me an estimate and was very informative about what was needed for the base and what would need to be done. The finished product was better than I had hoped! He went the extra mile and did an excellent job. He was also very helpful in giving me advice and suggestions about drainage and shelving in the greenhouse. I highly recommend this company!

FANTASTIC! That was my first word when I saw my landscaping work complete. Mike first did a design scope asking for my input, likes, and dislikes. He structured my layout with a variety of indigenous plants to ensure year round color. Despite challenges due to weather and demo with regrading, he still finished on schedule. Always clear communication and never a concern throughout the process. Look forward to enjoying my beautiful yard!
