We have used American Landscaping several times in the past at my home in Mt. Airy. Most recently they corrected a settlement and drainage issue and removed a tree. Their service is great and employees are courtesy. Work and clean up is fantastic. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience working with American Landscaping to address some longstanding drainage issues including moving a shed, installing a dry well, adding drainage pipes and regrading a good chunk of the backyard. From start to finish it was easy and quick. They are friendly and professional - I look forward to working with them again on the next project!

American Landscaping completed a front walkway, removal of old shrubs and replaced with new ones, and completed a rear flagstone & Riverwalk patio. Everything is beautiful and of neighbors are sending us lovely messages complementing us on our new curb appeal. We are pleased. They also provide our lawn care services and pruned one of our trees. They are very professional, the work crews too. And because we didn’t know anything about plants, walkways, and patios, we left it in the hands of AL to recommend ideas for our consideration. Billy is amazing!!! Thank you AL and we’ll be calling you for future work.
American Landscaping has been doing our spring clean-up (shrub trimming, weeding, bed edging, mulching etc.) for 6 years now and we can’t say enough good things about them. Each year, Billy does the initial walk through of our yard to come up with the proposal and is here in the morning when the crew arrives to discuss any special circumstances with the crew leader which has been Carlos for the past few years. Carlos and the crew do a wonderful job. They work hard all day and everything looks perfect when they leave. Karen, in the office, is always helpful and professional. Over the years we have also used American Landscaping to do shrub and stump removal and other miscellaneous jobs in the yard -- always with great results. We keep coming back to American Landscaping because their prices, service, and professionalism, and the quality of their work are always excellent. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.
American Landscaping made a beautiful garden for me! I had the opportunity to work with Brian and Karen. They are both very informative, accommodating and professional. The job was done in a timely fashion. The grounds people did phenomenal work. I was so pleased with the end result that I am having them do additional work. I highly recommend this team for your landscaping needs.
Awesome service! Their front desk is super helpful. I had a cord delivered to my house and stacked in my garage. The process was easy, great prices, and heir delivery guy was super friendly and great to work with. I recommend them to anyone looking for firewood or landscaping. They definitely have me as a customer for years to come.

Great place to get Christmas trees. $60 cash this year any tree cut fresh. $2 for credit cards. Not bad with everything so expensive this year.
The owner, I forgot his name was supposed to have an appointment with me on 5 date and he missed 3 and came about 45 minutes late on the other two. Ill never come here again.
Fantastic from beginning to end! Ive been watching them maintain property near me and decided to contact them. Glad I did. Good place to get firewood. Easy good quality wood
I have used American Landscaping for two rounds of tree pruning and service over the last three years. They tick all the boxes: professional, on-time, communicative, know how to balance as homeowners with the needs of the trees, clean, prompt clean-up. These guys know what theyre doing and (in my experience) offer a better value than their competition. Truly enjoy doing business with them.
Helpful, tons of Christmas trees
This is my third consecutive year doing business with this company, and have yet to be unhappy with their work. Theyre honest and reliable, and theyll give you what you want if theyre clear on the info given to them. I look forward to doing continued business with them:)
This was the second time I used American Landscaping for tree work. I came back to them because of the great job they did the first time. The second time was no different. They promptly came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate to take down a 35 foot tree and then their crew showed up about a week later. Their crew did an outstanding job of taking down the tree, which was close to my house, removing the stump and the rest of the debris, and raking the area to the point it looked like nothing was there before. I highly recommend them and will use them again should the need arise.
Twice had wood delivered and I noticed that the wood was actually stacked perfectly in the truck to show that it was a cord without question. The wood was seasoned and hardwood. Just now got another cord and although the wood was not as seasoned (because I got it in the middle of winter) it is burning great! Excellent.
