I responded to a flyer left on my door for sunrise landscaping and received a quick response. Everyone I dealt with on the phone in the office was professional and courteous. They sent someone out, I believe Sergio, to provide an estimate. We didn’t know that he was here until after he had walked around our property. Perhaps this is what caused a later miscommunication, as we couldn’t point out exactly what we wanted done. The estimate was reasonable. Unfortunately, my service was delayed due to weather and other jobs ahead of me, but I did not mind as the office kept me updated. I also requested that I be contacted prior to service to ensure that my dogs were inside and they did so one day prior. I had requested Mulch, weeding and spring cleanup. When the workers arrived, they told me that removing the old mulch from the beds was not included in the service. They contacted Sergio who I spoke with on the phone and advised that unless it’s specifically requested, they do not provide this service; therefore, I negotiated a price. Although I was unhappy, I wanted the work done. They sent three guys out and they finished in less than three hours. They left before I could check the work. Unfortunately, they did a lousy job. They didn’t remove all of the weeds, leaves and branches; they damaged some of our plants; and completely destroyed ground cover hat we had been growing for years. I immediately contacted sunrise and left a message because it was Friday evening. On Monday morning, they replied and set up a time to have Sergio come out to the house. Sergio was apologetic and wanted to make things right. He came back later in the week with several new plants that he purchased to replace the ones that had been damaged and destroyed. He also finished weeding and cleaning up what had not been done the first time. I always want to give a small business a chance to make things right. Also, their professionalism and courtesy helped. All in all, I would recommend sunrise landscaping as long as you insist on going over what you specifically want done and have it in writing before they come to do the work. I will keep them in mind for my next project.
Sunrise Landscaping did an excellent job cleaning, edging, and mulching my neglected property. They have also aerated and seeded the lawn and I expect great results. Their crew is efficient and very competent, and their prices are reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

We had a very good experience with Sunrise Landscaping. They did an extensive clean out of garden beds in both front and back yards, removing bushes and shrubs and cutting back vines. They also repaired stone steps that were broken. Sergio came and walked the property with me to provide a quote and gave recommendations about which bushes to keep and provide a longer term vision for landscaping in the spring. He and the crew were thorough and efficient, completing everything in scope. Many of the negative reviews on here are from people that did not use the company's services. I would recommend to others.
The crew cleaned, mulched and removed shrubs in my yard professionally and promptly. They showed up early and have done a great job. At first I was not totally sure about the communication style- leaving a message and waiting for them to call you back. However, Beatrix is responsive and helpful that I am confident that she'll address my questions. I hope there's a better system but this works okay so far. Happy with this experience. Will use Sunrise again with our yard work.
Have been using them for many seasons. They are not perfect but they definently try their best to take care of their customers. They always take care of me when I called in. Last week, the crew chipped the corner of our patio. I planed to contact them. Before I could do so, one of owners - Sergio showed up our door and told me that he is here to fix the patio. He discussed with me about how they would fix it and listened to my thoughts. Then they completed the repair in 15 minutes with good quality. I am speachless. This is one of the many good stories I have with them.
For the second time now, they have covered my entire neighborhood with these. Literally, the entire neighborhood. Every property got at least one. Some had two. Most were just out in the middle of the lawns, but some were already in the street. This is not how to advertise! This is littering. Many of the bags already had holes in them. We have a nice neighborhood. People work hard to keep it that way. We don't appreciate someone coming through and throwing litter on every single lawn.

I was at my mailbox and one of their mowing trucks came around the corner at about 45 mph in my neighborhood and almost hit me as well as a neighbor and his dog.
Had them come in and mulch my front brds, trim and backfill some low spots. The owner comes in to estimate, i am home he does nit even bother to ring the bell and ask Me what i needed done. Gives a quote and I accepted. The crew came in including the owner, put mulch, trimmed and since i was there asked him how much to cut a small dead Tree. He said I should have told him earlier. I said you never rang the bell and talked to me about what i wanted done. He said $1000. Then i got upset, then he said if you had told me earlier, it would have been $200 and i would have brought my saw. Fine, i said forget it, and the did the trimming, and mulching and left. Two weeks later, i noticed bare spots and weeds coming through the mulch. The lady said the owner will stop by. He comes, doea not ring the bell, and leaves. He calls me later and says there is no bare spots. I ask him if he rang the bell. He said he went all around and left. I said, can you drop some Mulch off, and i will Put it on. He got argumentative and I said, forget it, i will get mulch from home depot and add a layer. What an idiotic company this is. I will never call him again. The guys who mow the lawn for his company are very good guys. Its just the owner who is, and i will Leave it blank.
We use them for grass cutting services, have really never had an issue. The guys are friendly and prompt. Only issue I have had is when the ground was super saturated last year the mower they use was too heavy and now we have some bare spots. Nothing a little seeding won t take care of.
No worth the $20 cut. I had them cut my grass for about 6 or 7 years because of the cheap price. Last summer they destroyed my yard and my neighbors yard. They cut the grass when it was wet and put gigantic trenches in the lawn. A landscaper came over and quoted $1300 to repair. I gave Sunrise a chance to repair before I told them I would have it done and then sue them. They did come back and repair, but to much of my time, effort and aggravation to stay after them. They cut the lawn for the rest of the season and then this year did not come back. When my grass was high, I called them and Fabiana said that they were waiting for me to call them because of what happened last year. I asked why did I have to call you? I never did in prior years. She put me on hold, came back and said they needed to get $28 or $30 a cut now in my neighborhood. The reality is that they are so bad and destroyed so many properties in my neighborhood, they have lost the customer base, but she did not want to be honest and tell me that. Its just not profitable for them to cut in our neighborhood because they dont have enough business anymore. They never repaired my neighbors property. He didnt push them like I did so he got stuck with the bill to repair all the ruts and trenches they caused on his property. He just switched to another company as well. I have a new company cutting my lawn now. Dont do business with Sunrise Landscaping. Its not worth the aggravation.
They have been cutting my lawn, my fathers lawn and an investment property lawn of mine for two months now. So far they have done a fine job. Show up when they should. If I call the office, someone answers the phone and knows who I am. Grass looks great. And the price is great too. I dont get why there are so many negative reviews. Im quite happy.

I called over one week ago and they still have not come to my home. They also do not provide a time of day when they are coming. When I called this morning, they said that someone will arrive any time before 7pm. That is a long window to have someone waiting without an estimate of when the service will arrive. They do not answer emails and barely answer calls. They post only the positive reviews on their website. Do not trust these people and do not waste your time contacting them. I have advised the people in my neighborhood not to contact them either. This is a bad business and very unprofessional.
Used this company in the 2017 season. Good enough job for $20 per cut. 1/4 of acre lawn. You cannot expect landscapers to give an exact time when they are arriving because their schedule it effected by weather.
Wish I didnt even give them 1 star, called for service before memorial day to get my lawn done based on my neighbors recommendation and they never showed up! Had to cancel my BBQ since the grass was overgrown and yard looked a mess waiting on them to come. Even called them on Friday to make sure they were coming that day and they said you are on the schedule.. Called today to find out what happened and they said, it said your yard was done. Turns out they never even came to my house, and they said that they couldnt come back till Thursday, over a week later... Thanks but no thanks, dont use these people if you want good service and a reliable company. They will tell you they are coming and never show up!!!

Pros: They do a great job of cleaning gutters, mowing lawns, trimming hedges and everything else they offer. Cons: Poor customer service. Every time I call for a quote, they have to call their manager and then call me back. Sometimes I dont get called back and have to chase them down, even after Ive spent over $500 with them. Also, be prepared to wait until next week for them to get to your yard. So overall, they get 3 stars for doing a great job when they get on site - But 2 stars off for the difficulties of actually getting them out there.
