I have been using richters for a few years now. Every time I call the office they have been helpful and happy. Additionally they have done a great job with my lawn and shrubs.

I have done my own fertilization for 27 years. They have done a terrific job on my lawn. Would recommend them to anybody. The office staff and the people in the field go over the top to make things right.

I have used Richters for over 10 years and have referred them to several of my neighbors over the years. This summer a new neighbor stopped and asked me who I used for my lawn serevice. He said I had the best looking lawn on my block. He started up with Richters service this year and is starting to see inprovement in his lawn.

My lawn looks much better after one season Richters worked on it. Looks like they have incredible fertilizer. Their staff are very professional and left me a note for my lawn evaluation after service every time. Great price.

After dealing with True Green for years of service, I really appreciate the care and service of Richters Beautification Service. My lawn is a lot greener and healthier looking as it was from 12 years ago as a new build home owner. I appreciate that they leave detailed service package at door and answer any questions that I may have. True Green did the same but constantly burned my lawn from over fertilizing and stating that a new guy had applied with little experience. That is unacceptable to me. Last year my beloved maple tree was showing signs that it was not as healthy as it could be (black spots on majority of leaves) Richters promptly came out for a free evaluation and sent a diagnosis with a detailed plan. One year after the executing the plan, I can happily report my tree is looking great! In addition to solving the problem, EVERY person Ive dealt with have been proffessional and friendly. I have been using Richters many years and came back again this year. The technician applied first application and for some reasons we still have few scrub grass and weeds. I sent them an email and one of the rep called and have the technician came and gave us another treatment without costs with no questions ask. It was very nice of them!

My dad gifted me with Richter s one year for Christmas. Been using them ever since for a few years now. When I moved into my new home, the lawn was in rough shape. It s beautiful now thanks to Richter s. They always send a text message the day prior to inform they will be at my home the next day, which I greatly appreciate. They are very professional and do an outstanding job. They leave the information about the services they provided that day and also send an email with that information. They treat what the lawn requires and suggest services that would be beneficial without pushing any (it s all in the email and the information they leave). This is my third year with Richters. The company I worked with before them overfertilized my lawn and burned it up two summers in a row. They have always had my lawn looking beautiful. Emari, my technician is great. When I have questions he takes the time to discuss them with me and offer solutions. Even when I dont have issues we take a minute to just say hi to each other.

Let me start by saying that yes, my lawn is greener than my neighbors (serviced by another company) and yes it s weed free (ironically most my weeds come from the same neighbors lawn lol), but it doesn t stop there! I also have them spray for spiders for the past three years, and i have only had to kill two, yes two spiders inside my home since they started! I live in saint Clair shores by the water, so spiders were my biggest issue! But the main reason I continue to use them is by far the people that work there! The technicians have always been courteous, friendly and actually take time on my lawn, which isnt hue either. I always have enough time to run them out a water and a snack, or a couple extra bucks as a thank you. The office staff has always been friendly, helpful and even laugh at my stupid dad lawn jokes lol. That being said, it was the owners Shawn and Carla, that really stuck out to me. When I had a special request, im sure that wasn t typical for their industry, they didn t hesitate. In fact, they went above and beyond to help my situation out! This is a local, family owned place and it shows. I m not a number, I m not called with upselling tactics, and although service calls are free, I ve never needed one. My neighbor on the other hand can t say the same. With any luck, they will take my advice and have a Ricters flag in their lawn like the other 5 houses on our street!

There was as a time when we thought we would need to get new sod, but their professional, knowledgeable service brought it back to a beautiful, thick green lawn. We use all of their services including core aeration, grub control, landscape (trees, shrubs) spraying and bug control spraying. I have been using PEST-X for several years and now that theyve changed their name to Richters I thought I would try them again; I was not disappointed. The service tech, Michael, called in advance of his arrival to confirm the appointment, showed up ahead of time and we walked through the house and yard explaining what I wanted done. Less than 30 minutes later he was done and on his way. Pricing seemed reasonable for what I wanted done so I am hoping for the same positive results I have had from their past service.

Michael came out and he was fantastic. We had carpenter bees in our gazebo and he helped educate me on prevention and treated the gazebo quickly. I ve had amazing experiences with this company both times we ve used them and would highly recommend them.

The fertilizer they use is very good. Customer service is what pushed me away. I had repeated phone calls to request the technician to only use the walk behind fertilizer. The heavy ride-on fertilizer left large grooves all over my lawn. This continued for the last 3 applications of the year. Its a shame they dont listen to their customer.

We use Richters for our lawn, perimeter pest control, and now rodent issues. Mike C has been very good to work with for our bat and mice problems. He has been very responsive with follow-up appointments to make sure the issues have been resolved, which they now are. We will continue to use Richters for further services in the future.

I have been using Richter s beautification for three years now. My grass has never looked as good as it does. With the other services I had I would have grubs even after the grub treatment. I would see holes all over my yard from the skunks digging for the grubs, since I have had Richter s beautification I have had no grubs and no skunks tearing up my yard. I am very pleased with the service and my lawn looks beautiful.

I fired TruGreen a year ago. By the time July comes around every year my grass begins to turn yellow and for the rest of the summer does not look good. Richters has serviced my lawn for the first time this summer and theyve done an amazing job. My grass is green and Im very very satisfied. Whatever theyre doing works a lot better than TruGreen.

TERRIBLE. Stay far away from this company. They recommended that we do an application of liquid thatch reducer and charged us $80. What did we get? A sign that said it was done put on our lawn and that s it! The guy put the sign up, left the bill on our door, sat in his car for 5 minutes, then left. Clearly he didn t notice our cameras What a scam

Definitely used the wrong fertilizer/weed control at summer application. Burned our lawn as well as our neighbors, killed a burning bush, hosta and a couple of hydrangea. Had some early weeds they refused to treat, lots of excuses from this company. They know it all and refuse to come out and see what I was referring too. Poor communication and Very unprofessional. They want to blame it on everything but their issue. I had another company come out to verify what I already knew. They cost us big bucks. Fired them as soon as we saw what was happening. And Richters, save your canned response you gave to others. Just proves our point. You need some education in horticulture. You are not always right. Sometimes the customer is just smarter than you!

Love this company!! Ive used them for the last couple of years and after learning about important watering my lawn was, coupled with fertilizing and pest control, my lawn is the envy of the neighborhood. I almost lost some of my trees as a result of another companys services, but Richters treated my trees and saved them. I ve used Richter s for several years now after trying other companies. The results have been great to say the least, they take the time to custom print what your lawn needs after every application and then a quality clean up. From the first application at the beginning of the season till the last I know my lawn is in great hands.

This is our second year using Richter s, and we will continue to use them! We have tall trees in our front yard, so some parts are shady, and the other side gets full sun. Trying to keep the right balance of fertilizer ourselves, wasn t working. They came last year, and not only did we notice the difference, but so did our neighbors! We received slot of compliments, and renewed our contract with them this year. They are coming out next week, and we are very happy with all the services they provide and helpful suggestions on what we should do ourselves. Very pleased and recommend to everyone!

I ve had Richter s as my lawn fertilizer company for years. Couple years ago they started treating my plum tree. Always prompt and courteous. There techs are professional and clean up after each treatment. I would recommend them over and over.

Spoke to Carla after noticing recurring weeds. Company not willing to stand behind their service. She was extremely unprofessional and told me I should take better care of my lawn! Also told me I needed thick skin after I told her she was being offfensive in her reply. Horrible company! Horrible employees!

We have had some trouble areas of the lawn that needed special attention. A human has always answered the phone when I call and they have been very responsive to the additional care needed on those lawn trouble areas. The guys have also been very nice when I see them doing whatever the service is on that call. They have provided helpful advice, too, regarding certain plants/species we have. I have been a Richters customer for several years. Prior to that, I did my own fertilizing and my grass has never looked as good as it has with Richters. Only one time I saw some weeds after they had done a treatment and they came out the day after to remedy that at no extra charge. They have superb customer service and I have referred them to friends and family.

I bought a house in Warren and evidently inherited a field of dandelions in the lawn. The front was horrendous. The back was better but still weedy. Richters was recommended to me by my nephew so I thought I would give them a try. After the first application I can already see positive results. I am very happy not to have to fight the weeds on my own because nothing I did seemed to work. I am hoping for continued improvement.

These guys are great! They have been taking care of my lawn for over 10 years. They call ahead for specific services, always on time, clean up when required and most important my lawn looks great! Top notch service! My grass was starting to yellow in some parts. Called Richters and they were very friendly and informative with their packages or options. Within a few days Mario came out and applied late summer liquid fertilizer and grub preventative. Within a few days I had the greenest grass on the street! Mario also wrote up an entire report on the condition of my grass and recommendations. I will be using Richters from here on out. Definitely recommend Richters to anyone who is looking for lawn care services!

Cannot say more wonderful things about this company and their services! The staff are incredible to work with and extremely knowledgeable. They are timely with their treatments and send prompt reminders on when they are coming out. At the end of each treatment, your technician leaves a detailed list of what was treated and what was found, and gives suggestions on preventative & maintenance measures. Amazing price too! Ive never seen my lawn look better!!

If you don t mind extra weekend chores, this is your lawn care company. Lawn looks okay but the driveway and brick paving are a mess. They are very nice when they explain that tire marks are to be expected and it s the homeowner s responsibility to clean. The flash flooding rain, or a garden hose will not wash marks away.

I just had a not so good experience with the company. My neighborhoods and I have been getting (stress) burn lines throughout the lawn. You can clearly see the burned tire lines from the machine they use for the application. Instead of being of a stand up company and apologize and make an adjustment. They chose to call me and tell me that all these burned tire lines are a FUNGUS...and if I keep watering everyday like I always have the FUNGUS will go away! BULL CRAP

We have had several lawncare companies and Richters is by far the best service. Have not had a problem with our lawn since. They ae always there if you have a question or a problem.

My grass continues to look better and better since I began service with Richters. There is no lag in service intervals. Staff always seems friendly. I also like how they comment on the appearance of the grass and identify different weeds and other issues.

The team at Richters has the right equipment and the right expertise to take care of our lawn. Although it is doing extremely well this summer, thanks in part to a rainy/sunny season, there are no dandelions and other weeds growing like they used to in the past when we did not use Richters services. So, the overall experience is good and the results excellent.
