Steve has always been very professional and friendly. He answers all my questions about lawn care, fungus and insect problems and finds the best way to address those problems. We have discussed pros & cons of when to reseed. He has suggested other services your company provides. I feel comfortable texting him with my concerns & know that he will reply as soon as possible. The rating I gave was for the technican not my lawn. The treatment that was done today better improve the grubs damage, that was supposed to have been put on a previous visit. I have had this company service my lawn for many years and did a decent job. Maybe it's time to move on, if the lawn does not improve.
Several months ago I left a 5 star review because things were good and apparently too early to tell the impact of this year's treatments. However, service has declined rapidly. I don't know if this is because of the company changing from Weed Pro to Lawnsquad, or just bad service from our specific lawn tech (we've had the same tech the last 3 times and possibly since the start of the year). One time, we had a grad party scheduled and I called and asked them to put a note in to delay treatment to the following week, well of course the guy came the day before the grad party, but he did reschedule treatment for the following week since I was home and flagged him down. I've called and even messaged through the customer portal online, for spot treatments several times and it's been weeks and no one has been out to address all of the weeds. I also don't like how I sometimes receive notifications after a treatment asking for a tip. I'm NOT tipping, and asking for a tip is absurd. Stop that practice please. I don't feel like I should have to continue calling and asking for spot treatments. I messaged online...check your messages Lawnsquad...and I spoke with someone (Dan) over the phone after he tried to sell me on aeration. Still no spot treatment. I won't be a returning customer next year.
These folks are super helpful extremely nice. They always let us know they're on their way.. The main thing everyone has to remember. Don't cut your lawn short. Always raise your mower to the highest setting and you'll have a beautiful Green Lawn with the help of these fine folks.
Lawn Squad always does a great job. We are long time clients and my yard always looks great because of the detail they use while treating it. I appreciate the communication they provide before and after the services to make sure the yard is not to wet to get their equipment on/off without damaging the turf. Jeff was friendly and courteous as always. Thank you for all the detail and for keeping my yard in great shape year round.
UPDATING to 3 star. Received calls from multiple managers - Angelo and Matt to attempt to make right. Plan is for them to return to the property this week and correct the mistake. I'm optimistic.... 04/23 _______________________________________________________________To be fair, this is my first aeration since “Weed Pro” became LawnSquad… That said, I could not be more disappointed today. First, I reached out from my account to inquire on an estimated date for my aeration. I have a newly seeded area from last fall that I was hoping to overseed this spring following their visit. No response via email. Eventually I received a call stating my service would occur on Monday. I called Monday morning to get a more specific time for the visit in case I needed to be present to provide additional instruction. Instead I provided the customer care specialist with specific instructions on areas to 2x or 3x aerate (the seeded areas). They have happily done this in the past. I also had these areas flagged out. He noted on the account and advised that he would have the service provider text me before he headed my way and that I could definitely give them more detailed instructions that way as well. Around 4PM on Monday I received an automated call that my service had been postponed to Wednesday due to weather. It was about 72 and sunny on Monday. On Tuesday I moved all the flags and mowed. I forgot to put them back. Today is Wednesday. I completely forgot they were supposed to come today until I received an automated text at 4Pm requesting a review. I received no notice from the service provider of when to expect them. I could not, therefore, provide additional instructions to the provider. Nevertheless, I was excited to come home and see all the plugs in my lawn…. I don’t think I’ve ever had fewer plugs. It would appear some tines may have been broken or clogged or the service-provider skipped sections. NONE of my seeded areas had been aerated - THIS WAS A MAIN REASON for keep the service scheduled. I wanted to seed into the aeration holes! I’m not sure what recourse I have. I would like them to return and provide the service I was expecting or I will have no choice but to look elsewhere for lawn services. Plenty to choose from.
These guys messed up my lawn several weeks ago and it still looks like trash after being told it was temporary and “fixable”. Over fertilized in areas that killed my grass. No fertilizer in other areas so some areas are flush while others look like it’s dying. They came back to “fix” it 2 weeks ago and haven’t received a follow up call. They won’t offer a refund because they prefer to fix it and make it right. But it’s summer and the time we use our yard the most and it’s embarrassing. They also did this to several other lawns in our neighborhood. I’ve used them in the past and never had an issue, but I believe you learn a lot about a company when they mess up and how they make it right. You’re expected to make my lawn look better so how do you respond when you make it look worse? So far, not great. I’m about to put a sign out front letting everyone know who made my lawn look the way it does.

Tom has great customer service skills. He explained the process for my lawn what slicing and seeding would accomplish. He instructed me on watering and to watch weather if rain is in the forecast no watering necessary. He said not to cut lower than two inches and it would probably only need to be cut once before winter. I may see early growing in Spring. I appreciated him taking the time to explain. lawn squad bought out my previous local small business lawn service. very disappointed in communication regarding date and explanation of each application. my yard has never looked worse. those that apply the chemicals are fine. nothing to write home about.

I had my lawn sprayed with weed killer by Jeffrey Sikora on Wednesday. He did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Dennis Sharp.
I have a new construction yard that was put in early Spring. Despite my best efforts it ended up filled with weeds and very patchy grass. After a recommendation from a family member I decided to use Lawn Squad. Originally it was just ok, they never called ahead to let me know they were coming. Slowly over time the weeds went away. The real problem started when they came out for 3 continuous weeks to put down weed killer. The first visit was a normal visit, the second was for a weed control service call. Ther third visit was not even supposed to happen. It only happened because the worker never finalized the visit. After their second visit I waited a few days and spent 10 hours prepping my lawn to be reseeded. 2 days after my lawn was done Lawn Squad came back and sprayed my entire lawn with a pre-emergent weed killer. I had no clue they were coming and was at work so I could not tell them to stop. I called customer service to ask about how this would affect the new seed that was placed. The woman on the line said they should have only spot treated and not sprayed my whole yard. I explained that I watched on my cameras that my entire yard was sprayed and I was concerned that the seed would not grow. The next day a manager named Brett called and said they would come out 2 weeks later to check my yard and if there was no new growth from the seed that they would reseed my yard at no charge. Well, they never came out, even after almost 3.5 weeks. Needless to say the seed that was put down did not grow at all. I have since had to spend another few hundred dollars on seed to do my lawn again. I ended up having the rest of my services canceled. So in summary, they have 0 communication and do not keep their promises. Go with anyone else.

Walked the property with me to insure he knew where all the sprinkler heads were located. Advised me to call office to touch up on a few areas still showing weeds and to keep watering so that recent fertilizing will be doing its job on the grass. Very professional.

This was out of their control I believe but I do think my internet line was hit during this and we no longer have internet service and we are the only house in the street dealing with it. I m not sure if it was them but it happened as soon as they started the aeration treatment.

We have been with the company for several years. They have completely gone down hill this past year. The technician straight up lied when he said he spot sprayed our weeds. We have cameras around the property and he never stopped to spot spray anything. Our lawn is brown and we have weeds everywhere. Called and cancelled our service today. We were told a manager would be by but judging by other reviews, I would not hold my breath. Clearly they don t value customers or their work.

I have been very disappointed with Lawn Squad. This is the first year I have used then and my yard has more weeds than with my past service and I have come to learn they applied a fungicide when it was hotter than it should have been to apply it. The fungicide caused my yard to brown, and they are now blaming it on lack of watering when I run the sprinkler system at least 3 times a week.
My lawn has never looked worse. My daughter is getting married in one month and you would never know that I pay for a service. I am very unhappy with their lawn care
Our lawn tech Jesse is always fantastic. He takes his time and doesnt take short cuts even when it means reloading his rider over and over for our 2 acres. He even takes the time to blow off our concrete so no granuals are left behind for our puppy or kids to come in contact with and track into the house. 5 stars!

They really take care of their clients. They come back without charge to guarantee their work. It is not an easy expenditure for me. but worth the big difference in my lawn.

Overall, I am not impressed with the service. Grass seed is scattered throughout the flower beds, and the machine that spreads the seed and fertilizer has torn up the yard, leaving large tire tracks that I have to fix. The seed will likely grow in the flower beds, requiring me to clear that out. Throughout the summer, the lawn fertilizer machine has left burn marks and the fertilizer has been unevenly spread, resulting in burnt areas. This service is not worth the money and is very sloppy.

Requested Lawn Squad to come out on 8/5 to look at a tree with yellow leaves and re-requested the following week. I was told on 8/5 he would come out within the week. Called a third time last week and was told he would come on 8/19. We have a contact with the Lawn Squad for the season and it took 2 weeks for someone to come out. Lawn Squad bought out Weed Pro this year. When the company was Weed Pro, they would be out within 48-72 hours.

I have not had them for anything lawn related but I would give them a 0/5 for driving skills. If they can t drive a little van without swerving and going 20 mph under the speed limit, I will not trust them to manage my lawn.
Stafon was very informative and thorough. He was also polite and cautious. On a scale of 1-10 I would give him a 10 1/2!!

They burned out my grass with poor or over-application of a lawn treatment and refused to take responsibility.
Our yard looks the worst it ever has since lawn squad took over. I have called them and a manager was supposed to come to my home and meet me but I have heard nothing. They also service several homes on my street and everyone s lawn looks terrible and everyone is extremely disappointed.
