We hired Austin’s to do some verticutting and seeding. When I went to flag my sprinkler heads in the morning for their crew, the sprinklers would not come up. I called Austin’s and asked if they could delay the job so I could trouble-shoot the sprinkler problem. It was definitely a bigger problem than I could handle. Within minutes Sam from Austin’s came out to our place and solved the problem and helped us to bypass a stuck valve in the irrigation. She fixed the problem. Water system works and we were done in time for the crew to begin the seeding process. All in one the first week of October, when we are getting down to the wire on verticutting and overseeding! They have great customer service and I would recommend working with them for lawn care needs.

I just cancelled lawn services today after I was charged for weed spraying which my cameras showed was not done. When I called to discuss with the office manager, she was not completely honest about the situation until I disclosed the ability to review camera recordings. This, along with other problems mentioned below, is what led to my cancellation. I used Austin Lawn Care for close to two years of lawn maintenance. The first year went ok during mowing season. I had some minor issues with punctuality and minor ruts in the lawn but nothing too bad. I had them also install mulch. They left part of the work undone but when I called they came back and finished asap. Finally, I had them install sod and a drainage system on the front lawn and the work was quite good. The second year, I had major problems. The lawn was not getting mowed evenly and there was significant damage to the lawn. I actually canceled mowing services and my lawn looks much healthier/even mowing it myself. One particular day was so bad, part of the lawn was left unmowed with uneven mowing and deep ruts. I called their manager Sam to discuss this, with pictures of the damage. She was quite defensive, dismissed some of the picture evidence presented, and the response was overall anemic. I don’t remember getting an apology, and there was no proactive attempt on her part to make the situation better. After some back-and-forth, she promised to have her team address the damage at some unspecified point in the future. The second incident is what led me to cancel services with them. First, I had noticed a lot more weeds than usual during the mowing season of year two. Today, I was charged $75 for weed control spray but my cameras captured their employee walking the lawn for about 1 minute before leaving. When I called the manager to ask why I was charged for a full spray when no work was done, she initially said that the employee noted they could not see weeds because the lawn was mowed and left. She then said the lawn had also been sprayed for weeds the last time they came out for bug control, but I was not charged for weed control at that time. This was apparently the justification for being charged now despite no actual work done. Then, when I told her I will go check camera records for that day, she then told me that no weed spray had actually been done, and the lawn technician will return the next day to inspect again. Obviously, she was caught in discrepancy and I pointed that out. She then became defensive again, and said that I get charged for the visit regardless of work done. This is not the precedent that they have had (i.e. I’ve had cancellations due to too wet a lawn after it was walked and I was not charged). It sounds like I was automatically billed anticipating that the work will be done which is a reasonable mistake; there was no reason to lie about it. I no longer trust this company so we have to part ways. In fairness, I did get a refund for the spray that was not done.

Was getting my sprinkler turned on and the worker said he will get a sprinkler head replacement setup for me. Never happen had to email them and they told me I had to pay $160 for ONE sprinker head replacement and they couldn't even get me a day for when they can come out. Used them for years to winterize my sprinkler system not anymore after that terrible service. Ended up using another company to replace my sprinkler head and the cost was $40. So to sum it up. If I have to pay $160 I would at least like to have good customer service while you're nickel and diming me. Dont recommend!

Great and friendly service. Discussion was honest and the small business had individuals sharing details to make the best decision for me. I ended up not going with them as my other quotes were slightly less but for bigger projects they would be the quality choice.

Austin was the low bid for some much needed grading and retaining wall work for our townhome complex. Not only were they the most reasonably priced, but they exceeded our expectations quality wise. As Secretary of the Homeowners Association, I'm always cost and quality conscious. We're now having them bid on our regular maintenance landscaping.

Austin's does a great job. We get a lot of compliments on our landscaping thanks to them. I've hired them on several occasions to do projects both at home and at our business. Highly recommend!

Austin's Lawn Care has been taking care of our property for years. We have never been disappointed. The owner (Austin) and his staff are really top-notch. They take the time to not only do a great job, but to ensure you really know what you are getting. I highly recommend them!

Great work and easy to work with! We had Austin's Lawn come out to give us some info on cleaning up some lawn beds, edging, adding some mulch, etc. We liked them so much we went ahead and signed on for their full maintenance program!
