Weed Man Lawn Care in Sharonville

I went with Weed Man because of the amazing customer service promised by the salesman. Was told that if at anytime for whatever reason if I see weeds pop up in between treatments to call and someone will be out within 48 hours. First weed treatment was done on a day it had been raining and the ground was still wet, making it less effective. Talked to customer service and they stated I was right and the treatment would not work as well and they will have someone out. I currently have weeds popping up everywhere. Does not appear my yard has been treated at all. After a week of no one showing up I called again to check and customer service said they did not put a rush on it but will now. Well a week and a half later still no service and weeds are taking over.

I would stay clear of Weedman lawn service .I was to have aeration done, prepared the lawn as requested.They did not show up and no response from the company. Tried to talk to manager, no response. They have no respect for the customer. The only thing they did was reschedule without even letting me know for 2 weeks out Do not get this company to do any work .

Weed Man Lawn Care has been fantastic. Our lawn is in great shape every year and the service is great.

This is my second summer using Weed Man Lawn Care in my yard looks really good. We also let me know if there are any other issues that need attention, which is helpful.

Will not be using Weed Man next year. Hired them and our lawn looks worse than the neighbors. I had to spray for the dandelions after they treated a few times. Our lawn is still full of clover and crabgrass. Biggest waste of money using them. NEVER AGAIN !!!

Place is horrible. Spent 5 minutes in my yard and charged full amount. Cancelled services and was told they would issue refund but never did. Had to involve my bank directly. They charge good money for the service and short change the customer. Should change name to Scam Man.

My lawn has gone from what I called crop circles to a green full lawn. They said upfront it would take a couple years and it has, but it was worth it.

Can t recommend Weed Man strongly enough! I was using another service for a couple of years and saw declining results. We switched to Weed Man last spring and saw immediate results not only with weed control, but also the thickness of my lawn year round. Professionals all the way around!

The yard looks great. 2/28/24: I am updating my previous positive review after the technicians applied the first treatment of the year. My lawn continues to look better than the other 25 on the street. I noticed last week that it was the first to be greening up, too. THEY RUINED OUR YARD I THINK THEY FED THE WEEDS I have to laugh when I see the great reviews, wish I could do the same. But isn t it how a company handles a problem that tells you the most about that company. I won t even begin to detail the problems we had with this company but will touch on the basics. Like most people we had pretty nice grass but weeds were present more that we liked so the plan was to do weed control and the grass would over time thicken and all would be good. HOWEVER an inexperienced tech killed several large portions of our grass. They agreed to grow new grass for free but inexperienced techs continued coming out all summer attempting the latest service. We questioned the products reminding them their company was trying to grow grass with seed in which the products they were attempting to apply would kill the seed/baby grass. A week later the same attempt by a different tech. We simply asked them to always call ahead as our afghan hound /poodle would lay on our back patio and would escape if they came in the gate. They were so nice in assuring us they would not enter gate. Nope each week we complained and each week they showed up proceeding to the back gate luckily I never trusted they would call so we would have the dog inside. Shall I go on I ll spare you our continued summer from hell with these people. No mistake they are so nice but it s all to get your business. If you go with this company and have no request outside of them showing up and doing what they do provided they don t kill your grass. And I mean kill dead and brown. We had 2 summer parties planned but they had to change since we were unable to walk on the lawn where they attempted to grow the new grass through the summer. FYI Summer being the worst time to grow grass from seed. Oh well good luck if you go with these people.

I have been with weedman a long time we had issues we worked it out you have to stick with one company each company uses different chemicals thats not healthy for your lawn trust me I reviewed a lot of chemicals weedman has been around along time its a company you can trust and you have to think about the climate change it effects everything especially the environment Thank You.

Had our yard treated last season and it looked HORRIBLE! Bought a bag of Scotts Turfbuilder this season and the yard looks 1000 times better already.

Late Spring Application

I had been taking care of my lawn myself prior to using weed man. My spring and fall self routine was doing fantastic, but what I was doing wasn t working for the summer. After hiring weed man, I have the worst lawn I ve ever had. Extensive clover, which I ve never had, and they only gave me one Spring application, but have charged me for two. I plan on contacting them in the morning, having them reduce my bill to reflect the actual treatment that I received. And then promptly canceling.

This is our first year with Weedman. When they say they re going to be here, they are here they have been polite. I had questions about the lawn being thin in some places. Thay sent someone out to look at my lawn and he gave advice which we are going to follow. The lawn is green and it looks great. I just purchased the grub control plan and if I have problems with grubs, they guarantee the work at this point we ve only had three treatments, but it looks much better than last year with Trugreen.

Used them for one year, the following year we did not renew yet they showed up anyways. They were told we no longer wished to use their service as the guy was treating the yard. The gentleman finished anyway and sent us the bill. They are now threatening to send us to collections and tarnish our credit for services we NEVER requested or agreed to. TERRIBLE business practice, will continue to warn all until this is resolved. UPDATE: The branch manager contacted regarding the billing issue and resolved. The services provided by the company were of satisfaction, it was only the billing and lack of support with it that we had issue with. Rating updated to reflect overall satisfaction with company.

They sowed HORRIBLE COW-PASTURE-QUALITY grass (very rough and ugly) Fescue in my yard. Fescue has been re-configured over the past decades to be MUCH nicer than the GARBAGE they sowed in my yard. Since my back yard was 100% hard dirt with a few weeds (due to some construction), I asked if they could seed a new yard... and I was very clear that the dirt was poor quality, and that there was nothing back there. They said yes, the grass would grow... and I was very angry (at first) that the grass only grew in about 10% of the yard). However, now that I see the HORRIBLE SEED they used and the resulting MESS my yard is in with these scruffy patches of ugly grass (mixed in with the decent fescue I sowed myself in the spring)... Im GLAD their seeds didnt take... however, am so mad that now I need to try to GET RID of this grass Even in the front yard, which had some good grass originally, now has these big coarse tufts of wide-blade grass that grows unevenly and grows like crabgrass in huge floppy tufts. Horrible. I paid $500 for this mess. Dont do it.

They are not taking care of the weeds in grass between sideside and curb , he came one other day and said he had know where to park he lied , I watch him. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS AT ALL

Beware.....I had one application which was a fertilization/weed control done. They did the fertilizer one day and came back 2 days later to do the weed control because I busted them cutting corners on the work they werent doing. The tech thought he would just skip the weed control and be okay until I called this company out. This one application cost $132. $66 for fertilizer and $66 for weed control. From this one called which was 2 months ago I am still dealing with a weed infestation. This company cuts corners and double charges for applications all while destroying your yard.

I had called to get set up aeration and overseeding. The person that took the phone call said someone will be out the following Tue, Wed, or Thu. No one showed up. I called on Friday, this time the receptionist said the appt was never scheduled on their end set it up for the following Tue between 10:30am ant 12:30pm. Again, no one showed up. I called back and the receptionist said he would have someone call me back asap. Its been several hours and guess what? No phone call. No surprise, I called back and cancelled all services. Simply pathetic. Why waste time and money on receptionists if youre not going to show up and do the work?

Signed up in March, first application patchy, has long swaths off lawn with weeds and crabgrass due to poor application. Looked like a farmers field with rows except these were weeds. Was on auto pay they dropped us off of auto pay for some reason. Said they lost our email but could contact us at least 3 times for up sells add Ins for about $500 each. Did not apply full treatment, yard looks worse than before they started. I ve tried to claim they re advertised GUARANTEE of 100% SATISFACTION no reply but demand for payments. Asked for on-site visit management, he had no power to correct wanted payment however he declined to put in sign that this was a weedman treated lawn LOL. Read other reviews and then run like the devils after you the weeds in the yard are nothing to their management.

I used these guys a few years back and my yard was worse than it started. I couldnt get anyone out for my scheduled treatments yet they kept trying to sell me add-ons and then tried to tell me if I didnt take it the warranty would be no good. Since then I have received consistent calls from this company and every time I tell them to take me off the list and yet they still call me. Someone called a couple of days ago to tell me how great they are now(not according to all the recent reviews of the same issues we had years ago) and no matter what I said kept trying to get my to let them come out. I once again asked to be removed from the list. We will see if I get that call again.....

The absolute best service!

On November 15, 2021 at 4:00pm. I called the Weed Mam for service. The person who took my call was very pleasant and professional! I asked him what was his name. He told me it was Dan!! Hopefully all of the employees at Weed Man can take a lesson from Dan. Its always nice to get a live person instead of a voice mail telling you what to do! It shows that Weed Man cares about their customers!! Once again hats off to Dan the Weed Man ..

Weed man has serviced my lawn at 3 different residences for the past 6 years and have consistently done a good job.

We used the weed man for several months. While their service was good while we had them, we cancelled and they continue to call us. They are incredibly pesty even after telling them to not call us again!

After some time now of using their services and now reaping the benefits in our lawn, my husband and I are thrilled we made the switch to Weed Man! Not only great people, but great results as well. The Owner of Weedman Cincinnati responded to my review in seconds. A day later and they still refuse to give me my money back or perform the service they were supposed to do weeks ago. I am moving on to a reputable company for this service and Weedman refuses to give me my money back. I am going to have to go through the credit card dispute process to get my money. BTW, their excuse is that the Owner is waiting to hear from Corporate as to whether I get the money back for a job they never did. Weedman is a scam!

Service was great at first but now they are always late to do their applications, they never answer the phone, and their product doesn t seem to do anything as j always have weeds in my yard. I ve used weed man for a year now and I would highly recommend not using them. It s ridiculous that I had to call near a dozen time and leave several voicemails and for them to finally get back to me 2 weeks later. I would cancel them sooner but like it said I can let get ahold of them to do so.

I was disappointed with this service from the start. I described my problems (bald patches, new lawn) and they promised to get our lawn growing thick and full. They promised to be there within 10 days for the first service, but instead showed up a month later and only fertilized the yard. They didnt seed as expected nor did they talk with us about what we were needing. Fertilizer doesnt work if theres no grass to start with so it felt like a total rip off. Theyve only come twice in 3 months even though we signed up for 8 visits EDIT: The company did get back to me to explain the process so my only complaint is that they did not clarify this point in the beginning. The sales rep was more interested in getting a sale than actually listening to and addressing my lawn concerns. Make sure you understand what they are doing before you buy!

This is my first year using weed man, and I can t stress enough how disappointed I am with this service. Weed man has been to my house I believe four times yet no one could tell I have any type of lawn weed service. In early spring I had so many dandelions and clover it was embarrassing. I ve spoke to a rep from weed man and they confirmed with me that they would call me with date and time of my next service so I could show them my problem areas. They called 15 min away from my house when I m at work and no way for me to show them. Half my yard is yellow nutsedge and other weeds. I don t understand how dandelions can be that hard to kill, I can get a bottle of spray for 10 bucks and kill them in one application , so I don t think they re actually spraying anything on my yard.

I receive monthly emails advising how to keep my lawn healthy and weed free. I actually received a call the other day from Zac with Weedman, making sure I am aware of the hot temperatures and what to do to keep my lawn from turning brown. The service I have received with this company is top notch! The product actually works and I feel valued as a customer. My buddy also got a little discount on his next service for me mentioning his him .so make sure to mention Trevor when you sign up lol.

The fertilization & weed control gives me a beautiful yard.

I won t post the complete negative review yet but it s not been a good experience so far. While the customer care and people who showed up are very friendly, communication needs to be improved within the weedman team. When I signed up, I mentioned that we have new sod in front and seeds in the back so we need weed treatment first. After signing up for the service, I had to call twice after waiting for few weeks as no one showed up or communicated with me. Customer care was very prompt in setting up the rush service though. When they showed up, they fertilized the backyard without the weed treatment and we have the weeds growing like crazy now. I had to contact the customer service again for another rush service for weed treatment. Not good if you still have to keep track of things like this as a customer. I ll update this review if the situation changes Update: Service manager contacted me directly and they promptly came out to do the weed treatment.

They have come to my house and called-multiple times I have told them I am not interested and they hung up on me before.

By far the worst company, the weeds are thicker and deeper I called and complained they said that they would come out take care of it.... The person who sprayed my yard even admitted that the chemical they use really does not work Then I was told that they were supposed to arrive at Noon and they were an hour and a 1/2 late The company itself is worthless

I am very disappointed in this company and will never use them again. We signed up with them in March of this year. Given a monthly rate and that was that. The techs that come to the house have been great; however, the admin side leaves much to be desired. We received one bill from them and then stopped receiving them. This week I received a threatening email about sending our balance to collections. I emailed numerous times as well as called and left messages - never heard back from anyone. Today, I was finally able to get through to Aeisha. She was extremely helpful and said that they do not send monthly bills - they just expect you to pay. We were never told this - not when we signed up and not in any of the months we have had their service. And then they send a threatening letter?! Had we been told this is how they operate, we would never have chosen to do business with them. This is not how we operate. We will pay our balance and we will find another company for next year.

Moved into my new build end of June and requested an estimate for my sod but never heard back. I requested another estimate end of August beginning of September and Stephanie (I think was her name) JUST called me today (October 2,) to see if they can schedule aeration, but I told her no since I never heard back and she immediately hung up on me. , definitely was looking forward to this service because I knew it was good, but definitely not using them now. You have TERRIBLE customer service especially after months of requesting an estimate for fertilization, aeration and over seeding and never hearing back. Finally I get a call and she hangs up on me? Bahaha.. it would have been better to accept fault and say we will call back next spring. Now you definitely lost a customer for the future.

Ive occasionally treated my lawn with weed and feed in the past but not for several years. The first year of fertilizer and weed control from Weedman and my lawn looks so much better. Grass look green and healthy and weeds are at a minimum. Im continuing my service next year.

Last month a technician from Weed Man was providing service at my neighbors house. I spoke with the technician about the service he provides. I have very little grass, mostly natural ground covering. I was interested in weed control in the natural ground cover area. His belief was that the weed control they use would kill off my natural ground cover. He agreed to have someone else from Weed Control contact me to see if there was a weed control product they could use that would not kill the natural ground cover. No one contacted me, however, I received a bill for $176.04 for service provided on 4/27/2021. What service? I was not contacted by anyone so I did not speak with any one about service or authorize service! I have no grass to treat in my yard. I called today, 5/4/2021 and spoke with Selena. She was courteous and professional but unable to assist. She offered to have a representative come out to meet with me but told me I would have to pay the invoice and if I didnt, it would be turned over to collection! I told her I had no desire to meet with a representative and that I would not be paying for a service that I did not need or authorize.

I ve used Weedman Cincinnati for many years now. They always do a great job. However, if there is something I m not happy about, they will come back out at no extra charge, will correct the issue.

They are very responsive to requests and questions.

I tried Weed Man when they were canvassing our area. Every year my husband makes himself a little crazy trying to keep up with the weeds in the yard, sidewalk, and driveway. So this year I thought I would give him a break. The reasonable price is what got me to try them. I m so happy I did. The lawn looks great, lush and full, and no weeds. My neighbors may have them but I don t. I ll be continuing with this service for sure.

I went with this company after I ve seen the reviews and figured I would give it a try! I signed up with them, the charge every month was suppose to be 61.00 a month just to come and and spray. When they did come out, it rained every time and they still sprayed. They burnt my grass up, when the payment was due again they took 71 not 61.00. I had enough. Called them up cancelled and they took another 4.00 out of my account!!! This isn t a company that I recommend. Will post pictures of my lawn.

I have used Weed Man for the past 7 years, and my turf looks great! They are reasonably priced and their techs are always very professional. In the past Ive tried to handle fertilizing/weed control on my own with poor results.

My neighbors have twice hired these people to treat their lawn, which directly borders my flower bed. Both times, they have run their disperser directly along the edge of my flower bed without turning off the side that blows all of their herbicides and fertilizers into my garden. I do not want this stuff in my garden. I complained in the spring when they did this and they just came back (August) and did it again. When I called the company to complain, they routed me to voicemail. If you have any consideration for the environment or for your neighbors, dont hire these people.

Wont return calls. Takes 3 weeks or longer to come out after calling about a respray on weeds. Not Happy and this is their second chance.

I used Weed Man in VA and was extremely happy with the service so when I recently moved to Cincinnati I moved to my business. I got an email with an invoice for services, but there were no flags in my yard or note on the door like Im used to so I called. They notified me that they couldnt provide the service because there was construction on my street. Ok, Ill give them a pass as my street was being repaved, but I drove on it every day like my neighbors so weak reason. Almost four weeks went by and two emails from me with no response so I called back and was told there seems to be some confusion and that they need to reschedule. This is DEFINITELY not the same service I was used to. Not again.

After many years of taking care of my own lawn, moved to a new home and the yard just never really looked as good as we desired. In the spring spoke with a a Weedman rep while he was in the neighborhood. The lawn looks much better than what I was able to do. All of the service crew that I have met are very professional and knowledgeable. Our experience exceeded my expectations.

Swerves off the road while speeding past bus stops in heavy fog no less. Speed limit is 35mph on Blue Rock Rd. Slow down!

Only treated half the yard. The part they treated is now full of clover, weeds,mushrooms and moles. I even paid for mole service. They promised to come treat the part that was skipped all year (several times). Garbage service run far run fast.

DO NOT USE WEED MAN!! They dont know what customer service is. If you have a problem they will never call you back. They dont keep their appointment times, they show up late, or not at all. They lie about pricing. Theyll say it is one price when theyre selling a service but then charge you double after the service is done. I had to cut off my credit card and dispute the charges because they keep taking my money even after I told them to discontinue all services. DO NOT USE WEED MAN - THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL LIARS AND THIEVES!!!

Claude was engaging and helpful. He answered my questions Made suggestions they were very very actionable. He was honest about what worked and what didn t work. And I really appreciate that. I really hope he becomes the guy that works on my grass next year should I by the treatments.

* DO NOT USE THERE SERVICES * 1) They do not inform you about the visit and charge you ridiculous prices. 2) I didnt see any change in my backyard grass and was being charged for services that according to them was provided. 3) There number display as *POTENTIAL SPAM* as on your phone. Like most of the people I ignored the phone calls but I wasnt informed through email or voicemail. 4) I called them personally to make a payment but it was left unanswered too. (Poor Customer Service) 5) Last but not the least, They reported me to Collection office with additional charges and late fees and when called they said we cannot do anything from our end. Total waste of money and I feel Scammed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THEM.

These people care about their work, and are knowegable about their task. Like that they call before they come, and will check in when they arrive/before they leave so we can discuss concerns. A phone call brings a consultant. They care, they try hard, they are pleasant and reasonable. I have been happy with them for a few years now.

I ve had Weed Man lawn care for 10 years. For many years, I had a nice lawn. The last few, the results have gone downhill and the service with it. I have a half acre and with regular treatments, my back yard is filled with crab grass and weeds. The last couple years its as though they are spraying the yard with water or diluted chemicals. I have addressed this many times and they have made promises to come back and spray the weeds. It does not happen. I got the the point this summer where I sent the techs away when they came for scheduled treatments. I told them I will not pay any more until my lawn is in better shape. The techs make a note and tell me they will send someone out, but it doesnt happen. They do not fix their mistakes. I have talked to the office, regular techs, senior techs, promo people and apparently they do not communicate with each other. It is the most disorganized company. They kept billing me even when I sent the techs away. They called me because my bill was delinquent I told them there was nothing done to my yard for the last several months. I am done with this company. its so sad.

Weedman is a great company it emphasizes on quality work and excellent service. I am very pleased with the level of professionalism while also being personable and caring!

I just moved to a house where no lawn treatment has been done, in at least 20 years. I am pleased with the results of the weed control done last month, and the fertilization that was done on my first two treatments. The technician Cameron was a very nice, and knowledgeable man. We discussed my yard, and other treatments, and he gave me hope for a nice yard in the future!

This company is great. I have a 1 year old son and a 5 year daughter who loves to play outside and this company had made it enjoyable for them due to not getting ate up by mosquitoes.
