I have been a client of Sod Services for several years, after having used other services. The do my lawn cutting as well as all my applications throughout the growing season. They are, first and foremost, reliable and honest. If they say they will be there, they will. If weather affects their cutting schedule, I get an email. I have a spectacular lawn from using Sod Services and, in my experience, they are the best at what they do. Sod Services is priced commensurate with its level of service, expertise, and results. The ownership team is perpetually improving their knowledge by attending relevant seminars and courses, staying aware of changes in laws and regulations, and evaluating new and modified products. All of this keeps Sod Services on the cutting edge of lawn care. It comes together in a coherent, customized plan for your property tuned to your soil properties, how the property drains, and the amount of sunlight the grass will receive. Sod Services makes it clear that your results will also depend on you doing your part - most important, watering your lawn at the appropriate rate for your soil and time of year. All of this Ive learned through personal conversations with Christian, who always returns calls promptly and answers my questions honestly. He will clearly tell you what can be accomplished for what you want to spend. You will see him making rounds to his clients properties - not sitting behind a desk. I highly recommend Sod Services Inc. They are a wonderful company that I have been using for Landscape & Lawn Services since 2013 ! They have done (and still do) the following services for me : Lawn mowing, Lawn Fert and weed control, Tick and Flea spraying, Spring clean-up includes removal of debris, trimming and clipping and edging, spreading new mulch (35 yards a year for us), Fall clean-ups & removal of leaves and anything else you ask them to do plus annual aeration and seeding .... They have also installed a retaining wall , several gutter run off drains, repaired many grass areas with both sod and seed and removed some very good sized bushes for us. Their pricing is extremely fair. Christian and Lindsey Nardi are wonderful owners and will work with you in all situations. I cant speak more highly of the company. Christian and his team at Sod Services are awesome! We had our yard graded, soil brought in, seeded and river stone brought in for a firepit area. They came highly recommended and when we reached out, they came out right away to bid the job, gave us a rundown of how the project would go, what options we had and what he recommended we do. The communication of not only Christian, but his team is excellent. Nowadays it is hard to find contractors that not only do what they say they will do, but go above and beyond to the extent Sod Services has. Christian s team was extremely hard working and paid attention to allll the details as if it was their own home. Even though we knew rain could be a factor that would require some additional work, Christian checked in with us during it and afterwards as he wanted to ensure their final product was perfect. We couldnt be happier with the outcome! We highly recommend Christian and his team. It was truly a pleasure working with them and we will definitely be lifetime customers. Dont wait, just call them!

I had Christian from Sod Services out to my house back in September to give me an estimate on a pretty large project. I had an idea of what I wanted but there were also a few things that I didn t exactly have worked out in my mind. He didn t give me the old tell me what you want, it s your yard he worked with me to come up with a great plan. He gave me a fair price and we scheduled the work. Unfortunately like many others I found myself temporarily out of work last year so the project was put on hold. I called Sod Services in early March and told them I was ready to move ahead with the project. Christian came out again remembered everything we spoke about and even made a couple new suggestions, he also held the price from the original quote. Christian and his team showed up right on time and it was easy to tell right away that it was going to be a great experience. I couldn t be happier with the way the project turned out . I would not hesitate at all to recommend Sod Services.

I can t say enough about the amazing job Sod Services did in delivering for us a BEAUTIFUL back yard. We had a pool removed, and the demolition company who did it left a huge mess. Christian from Sod Services came and gave us the best estimate and proposal, cleaned up the mess left by the pool removal, delivered a GORGEOUS back yard to us on both of their scheduled workdays, and then stayed in touch with me after the job to see that I was properly watering the sod in the midst of a brutal heat wave. Christian has also gone above and beyond to help with a couple drainage issues from our downspouts, as well as recommend further drainage solutions around our hardscaping. I can and will recommend Sod Services to anyone with similar needs, and I will continue to work with them in the future. They are the absolute best.

I can t say enough great things about Sod Services. I have and continue to use them for Sod, Lawn maintenance , yard clean up and cutting. They have even delivered ice melt to my front door. Weve used this company a few times for things around our house and had a great experience every time. Weve had them do small and large scale clean outs and they also shaped and laid stone around a newly installed pool. They do fantastic work and we would definitely use them again in the future.

I m a Sod Services customer and couldn t be happier with the job that Christian and the crew have been doing! The grass is greener than it s ever been and there are no weeds to be found. They are really easy to work with too. Whenever I have questions Christian or Lindsay respond back quickly. I also like the online billing and the email notifications that give me a heads up a few days before the guys come out.

I hired Christian and team a couple of years ago to re-sod my front yard. Like a lot of us in this area, I have a lot of trees/shade so my lawn was always a struggle to keep looking just okay, untill I re-sodded which aint cheap. Before contracting with Christian/Sod Services, I always did the treatments myself using Scotts from Spotts, the Home Depot or Laurel Oak. After talking to Christian, I learned that the stuff Sod Services applies is totally different (you need a license to apply it) from what you buy at the home depot. After they resodded my front lawn and seeded my back yard, I got an estimate and realized hiring Sod Services was not that much more expensive than buying chemicals myself...and they did the work at the proper time. Im a DYI guy and I was a bit skeptical about hiring a company to do what I could do in an hour myself, with so-so results, so I figured Id give Sod Services a shot for a year. Im so happy i did - WHAT A DIFFERENCE! In 25 years, my lawn has never looked better! Sod Services also puts out an email about every month describing issues that I should look out for. If I see an issue, I call them, they come out and inspect. They also tell me on how I should be setting my irrigation system - no more guess work! Such a pleasure having these guys take care of my lawn. On time, knowlegeable, great to deal with and a LOCAL FAMILY owned business! I hope to use these guys for years to come. My only regret is that I wish I found these guys 20 years ago, For my property, I estimate I pay about $50 more/year vs. DYI, and I have professionals looking after my lawn, who care about my yard like its thier own. No Brainer...hire Christian/Sod Services today. PS: I dont know these guys personally and dont write reviews often. These guys deserve the recognition based upon my experience in dealing with them IMHO. I do however have a soft spot for WELL RUN LOCAL BUSINESS. (Like: Rosellis Italian foods, Bringhurst Meats, Robys Lawn Mower, Spots Hardware, Kings grant Liquors, OBrien Landscaping, Pic-A-Lilli to name a few)

We recently used Sod Services for our yard. I couldnt speak more highly of Christian and his team! Their commitment to excellence is the best you will find! Communication is also very important to the owner. He always replies to emails the same day and sometimes within hours. Christian is a person of great character who cares tremendously about his product. Shortly after our installation, we faced some challenging weather, with extreme heat, humidity, heavy storms and flooding. Christian encouraged me to keep him informed if we had any problems. Unfortunately, we did experience some issues, no fault of Sod Services. They went above and beyond to rectify the matters. You wont find many companies that take this level of interest in customer service. They stand by their product and always put your satisfaction first. They are a full-service company offering installation and maintenance. If you need sod and want to work with professionals that care more about you than themselves, look no further.

I have two questions, Where do they get the sod from? And why does Google think Ive been here?

This company is rock solid. They are professional, communicative, and do extremely good work. Additionally, they have empathy. I was in a jam and needed my yard fixed prior to an upcoming party. It was going to be a disaster if they could not complete the work in time. Now, I called them with not much time to spare and explained my situation. They listened and figured out a way to adjust their schedule to make things work for me and my family. In addition to this, they took it upon themselves to connect with my sprinkler company to work in conjunction with them to make sure both teams got the work done. Christian is the man. If I could give 10 stars I would. I appreciate the effort and heart of this company.

Awesome service! Contacted them for about a 600 sq ft. Sod install in my backyard and they were quick to come out and survey, told me exactly what had to be done and even pointed out why my backyard was flooding so often. The install was done is less than half a day and looks outstanding. Highly recommend.

The Best of the Best, Reliable, Dependable and affordable. The owner Christian Nardi was very professional, kind and courteous. Fantastic job sodding my house. Very impressive work!! They even replaced some dead spots along the side of my house and another spot in the front for No charge. Highly recommend!!!

These guys are on time professional hard working and can do anything you want at a great price they really know what theyre doing and clean up after themselves which is rare thanks so services they did a better job than I expected and was actually a little cheaper than they quoted
