They showed up but my yard looks as bad as it did a year ago when they started. The visit this past spring for preventing weeds did not work at all!
I called Shallotte Spring Green in November 2023 at the recommendation of the nursery manager whose team installed 19 8 foot ligustrum plants on my property that got cercospora disease their first year in the ground (as diagnosed by the nursery manager). The woman in the office was very nice, the owner Travis called me back promptly, but never showed up when he said he would to look at the plants. No one called to cancel and no one ever called back to apologize or reschedule.
I've been using them for years, greatest my lawn has ever looked. Travis is extremely professional and responsive to any issues/questions that have ever come up. I highly recommend using them.

We decided to use this company because they treated a lawn in our neighborhood and the yard looked great. The only thing we asked was that they call when they are on their way. They don’t give you a time frame when they are coming so expect you to just wait all day for them which some days I can’t do. Plus we have 4 dogs and a dog door so we leave our gate locked so no one accidentally lets a dog out. The first time they came everything went so smoothly! They called 30 min before coming. Did the yard and explained some stuff. Took soil samples and left. I was so happy with our choice. After that it was never as good. The next time I got the call letting me know they’d be there the next day was a Friday. I looked at their hours and it does say they are open on Saturdays so I assumed they were coming Saturday. Unfortunately I had family coming in that same day so instead of spending time with them I spent the day waiting for spring green to arrive. They never did. They came Monday. The guy said some guys do work Saturday but usually if you get a call Friday it’s for Monday. We never got calls before they came. One day I ran to the store 5 min away to pick up a prescription. Apparently in that time he had came to our house cuz a note was left that he had been there. He never called before and didn’t call when he was there either. If he had I would have told him I’d be home in 2 minutes. He could have done the front yard and I would have been home to let him in the back when he was done. We moved to CB 6 months after starting service with them but decided to stay with them for our new yard. I asked them to do the soil samples here at our new yard. They never did. We have used them for a year and never once did they call before they came even though i have asked 3 or 4 times. One time the guy came and something had happened to the hose (I think he ran it over or something and it wasn’t able to be used) so he said he’d have to come back and spray another day. I don’t think he ever did. I have lost track. Today I canceled service with them because a few weeks ago the guy shows up, again without any notice. All our dogs were out. It’s hard to wrangle them all in and then I feel like the annoying one while he waits on me to get them in. It was such a simple ask for them to just call on their way and they never would. We found another company that assured me he will call before he comes. We will see how that goes. Aside from that our yard looked ok but never great and we always had weeds we fought ourselves because whatever they were doing wasn’t totally working
I put in a whole new lawn of Zoysia in May in the house I bought. The team at Spring Green walked me through the proper sets in helping it not only survive but thrive. I didn't loose a single piece of the new sod. When I had a concern they were right over to take a look and give input. I've already recommended them to others and still highly recommend them to anyone.
Excellent service that transformed my lawn from weeds to lush green. I went from dreading to view my lawn when leaving/arriving at my home to smiling when I left and returned. My spouse was very happy not hearing my complaining. Spring Green did this transformation in one season. Highly recommend Spring Green to bring a smile to your face, they did to mine!!

I have always been able to count on spring green to keep my yard looking great. Whenever there is an issue with anything concerning pest control such as mole crickets or chinch bugs they are there within 1 or 2 days to remedy the problem. Great company!
Called them several weeks ago and they came to my home promptly and evaluated my lawn and left the paperwork on my front door with instructions to call them to discuss my treatment plan. I called them a few hours later and told them I wanted them to service my property. They said someone would call me back, but they never did. I called them back after 4 weeks went by and let a message, but once again 4 days later no call back. Why would they waste their time coming to my home in the first place if they had no intentions of servicing my home? I live at Crow Creek and see that some of my golfing friends and neighbors use this company, and I will be sure to warn them of the unprofessional behavior of this company!

Every time I call I get a answering machine.Was promised a Courtesy spray twice and never received it. One guy they sent out did not spray the whole yard and tried to sale me something I was already paying for.This is the first and last time I use a lawn service to do my yard, they ruined it for the next man too! No need for that. I do appreciate you saying you want to make it right,but I have had promises from y all before.In my opinion it it just has not been good Business. I will be doing my yard my self for now on. Thanks.
My friend s house siding was damaged during treatment by Spring-Green and the company is aware. They have come out to see the damage and acknowledge it exists. They are now refusing to answer calls and return messages regarding fixing the damage. Poor customer service and communications seem to be their way of dealing with issues. I would never use this company after hearing her story. Spread the word.
We have not used Spring Green yet but my neighbors do with great results. Ill called to get an estimate and they came out quickly and have fair prices. We look forward to using them in the spring.

My wife and I have taken care of our own lawn for most years. Were getting up there in age and have decided to use a professional company and have not regretted. Spring Green has done very well in getting our lawn to look amazing. Our Technician Les is very helpful and knowledgeable. He showed my wife a technique that you can do to detect if you have insects destroying your lawn. He takes his time and answers any questions we may have. We are pleased!

In the last 7 years Ive used 4 different landscape companies. The first one was good but they bailed out of my neighborhood. The other 3 were not good at all. Now I am using Spring Green and I can HONESTLY say my lawn has never looked as good as it does now! I am glad that Spring Green is taking care of my landscaping needs now.

Spring green in Wilmington has zero customer service. It all sounded wonderful up front, but they came twice in late winter, NEVER did core aeration, and have not returned in last 2 1/2 months. After repeated calls and promises to return sometime in next 2 weeks, and now not returning calls , I am totally frustrated and angry. Is this your normal way of conducting business ?
I have been with Spring Green, out of Shallotte, for 3 years. After the first year, I switched, because I felt they were not getting the job done and I told them so. I went with 2 other nationally known yard services and they were just as bad but with much higher prices. I have since gone back to Spring Green in Shallotte and am well pleased. My service yesterday was the most through service we have had yet. A company only gets better if they listen to their customers and I think this service is doing that.

I have been with Spring Green out of Shallotte, Nc for about 9 months now. My fiance and I share a part time home we live in out of Calabsh, Nc. Spring Green has shown us more results this season then what another company has shown in 3 yrs of having them. The Technician we have had these last 2 visits has been very helpful and educated. He is aware we do not live here fulltime and he makes sure to leave us very detailed information on our statements. The company as a whole has been very friendly to us. Keep up the good work!! PS I think our tech was named Lee?
The office people were nice but they just didn t get the job done in the field. They would say they were showing up and not. I saw a guy drive up, twice, look at my house and drive away. The never did aerate my yard, they wanted to in the dead heat of August and I said no. I told them I would stop bothering them yesterday after yet another no show and for them to keep the money. After emailing them telling them exactly this same story they didn t even try to save my business or offer a refund, not that I ask for one. No reply or call from them. I would not recommend.
