I love my gardens but reached a point where I did not want to spend all my time tending to them. Mom's has done a great job and while it is a bit expensive it is worth the cost and my extra private time.
I partnered with Mom’s a year ago for a pergola and landscape project. The results far exceeded my expectations! They thought of design and function elements that I hadn’t even considered. I highly recommend working with Owen - he is incredibly creative, has deep expertise, and is very ethical. Plus he is just a great guy!

This is the 2nd design Mom’s has done for me—-20+ years ago, a corner lot with lots of space & design options. This time--a postage stamp-sized courtyard! Mom’s came through—a cozy, nature filled oasis with natural stone fountain, trellises for vertical gardening, & “no mow” grass. I like that 20 + years on, Jim has some of the same talented staff-designer (kudos to Becca & Craig & to Jim for running a solid company); Tony kept an eye out for me as project mgr and Tony & team- the hands-on perfectionists. We cannot say enough great things about Mom’s Design Build!! From our first meeting with Jim, to design consultation and development with Becca, the completion of our total yard renovation with Tony and all the construction crews, and finally Natalie and Kelsey with the maintenance of our beautiful yard and gardens. They turned our unusable yard, that would flood anytime it rained, into an amazing outdoor oasis!! Now we can’t spend enough time in our yard!! The entire Mom’s team has exceeded our expectations! Their team is exceptionally organized and professional. We had zero stress throughout this project, which for anyone who has done home renovations or landscaping knows that’s not always the case. Our designer, Heather, helped make our visions come to life and had amazing and creative options for us to consider. Our Project Manager, Tony, was incredible to work with on a day to day basis. He was always available for questions and help. The crew( Ryan & team) knocked the physical work out of the park. We hired Moms Design Build ten years ago to do an extensive backyard pool and patio project at our home. This summer one of the pergolas they constructed collapsed due to rot. The inspector cited poor workmanship as the reason for the rot and related collapse. We emailed Jim Sweeney at Moms on June 26th for advice on how to have the pergola reconstructed. Its now more than one month later and we have not heard from Moms. We are very disappointed at both the lack of quality of their construction and their lack of responsiveness.
Mom s did a landscaping project for us about 10 years ago, and then due to some structural issues with our house, we needed to get the patio area re-done. Mom s came out and did a great job on the project! We were under a bit of a time crunch, but they got it all done and everything looks great again. Thanks, Mom s!

Moms Landscaping & Design wins more industry awards than any company, I know and it deserves every one. Talented designers, hard-working crews. Super creative. They are especially good at designing waterfront landscapes, outdoor fireplaces and operable pergolas that convert from open-air patios to screen-enclosed porches.
