My daughter had tree work done at her home in Medford and highly recommended Hernandez tree care. So I hired them to remove a large tree. We found Santos and the crew to be respectful, polite and professional and they do nice work at a fair price.

Great tree service. All great workers, trimmed all twenty of the cypress and white pines bordering the property plus cutting down a black oak and slicing up an old fallen tree from Sandy Hurricane. The clean up was superb. I only wish I was able to speak Spanish because I would have liked to have all the large limbs sliced up for firewood instead of having them all chipped. I heat my house with firewood and there was a lot I could have used. Not their fault. My fault for not being able to speak Spanish.

The crew were diligent, competent, and thorough. They did an excellent job and we will have them back for the next round of landscaping/removal needs. Thanks again

Based on this companys reviews, I made the decision to start with calling Hernandez Tree Service to obtain an estimate for work that needed to be done at my home. I received a very quick appointment for the following AM. Santos arrived on time, assessed what needed to be done, offered his professional advice with absolutely no pressure to follow ALL his recommendations at this time! I told him what I would be willing to do immediately and perhaps one other tree removal (he recommended) at another time. He was agreeable. After he left & with further thought I decided to follow ALL his recommendations which were definitely valid. He did receive my text in time regarding my change in decision to add that extra tree and therefore it was added to the estimate which I received extremely promptly! His estimate was very fair and reasonable. It was then easy for me to make an immediate decision to look no further. Fortunately, I was able to be serviced promptly before I had to go out of town for a couple of weeks. Everyone that arrived were extreme experts on their role regarding large tree removal & additional landscaping needs I had. They were all hard working, polite, conscientious and respectful not only of me and my property but my neighbors as well. Yesterday this company took down one of my mothers neighbors trees, the large oak pictured. Dropping it and damaging her Kwanzan Cherry tree also pictured. She had branches and leaves all over the front yard. They moved the chipper pictured which makes me think they knew it was going to fall on her property. Either that or they totally misjudged where it would fall which is even worse.The entire top of the tree was in her yard.

Very professional...I took off one star because they were supposed to get back to me with an estimate to re-plant a tree for me in the same area after the work was finished, but never did... Santiago came to give me an estimate and was quick & efficient. The man showed up on schedule. Took down 2 trees in less then an hour that were all tangled up in my main electric line coming into my home. As soon as the trees were down they discarded it all the way. Second crew showed up instantly With the big dog mechanical stump grinder & ground down the stumps to dust. These were too big apple trees. The men cleaned up all the apples that were everywhere and all the branches and took everything away. Im very happy with Hernandez tree service. These men dont mess around. They get the job done. I watched them while they cut the trees down. All the men worked in unison. They were very efficient. Great crew & great company.

Santos was very fair with the price. The guys were hard working and nice and cleaned up very well. They came upon a family of racoons and handled it bravely. My only concern is that there are dents in my lawn. I dont fault your service though, I think the ground was soft due to the wet spring were having. Just was surprised but its an easy repair. Will always continue to call Hernandez.

3 1/2 stars. Had 4 trees removed and trees elevated on the entire property. Overall, a good job. My comments are that they could have done a little better job with cleanup, didn t expect as much lawn damage as there was (I should have asked if they bring a bobcat onto the property to remove the wood), and I was disappointed that they didn t ask us to walk the property after such a large job. There were definitely some smaller branches I would have expected to be removed.

One of the trees that was removed was in a confined space, twisted around phone, cable and the power lines. It was also partially hanging over my neighbors shed and fence. The only trace there was a tree in that area once was the sawdust on the ground and a flush to the ground stump. I am still amazed that no other trees or shrubs were damaged during the job. Very talented hard-working staff.

They removed ten 50 pines, grinded the stumps and roots and hauled away the mulch without any issues. The work was scheduled and completed in a few days. Great value.

I needed a few trees removed, I went on the Facebook moms groups looking for recommendations, and Hernandez Tree service was highly recommended. I called and received an estimate the same or next day. They beat all the other estimates and was happy they he suggested only what he thought was needed, trimming and 2 removals. The 2 removals were in a tough spot, in between a pond and a gazebo, and lots of power lines. The removal went flawlessly, not one hiccup. They covered my pond and removed a portion of my fence. There work was superb, the didnt get any debris in my pond, and even replaced the netting neatly when they were done. They cleaned up all leaves and wood chips. By the time they were done you couldn t even tell I had work done. They left my yards spotless!! I already recommended them to 2 of my neighbors. I highly recommend them, I will be using them again for another project in the spring.

So satisfied with the services from Hernandez Tree Care that we decided to use them again this year. They trimmed my river birch and flowering plum. Both were trimmed the way I like it. Looks great. They were professional and quick. They made sure that I liked the results before they left. They cleaned up the debris before they left. And did this job in the rain. A crew of 6 guys showed up and took down two 75 ft pines in our yard. They were pleasant, professional, fast (done in 2.5 hours) and they cleaned up everything when they were done. I would definitely use them again if we need any more trees down. The price was great too.

I rarely write reviews, but I was so impressed by Hernandez Tree Service that I really wanted to. After their crew removed two large trees, I realized that I should have asked them to grind the stumps, which is usually an additional charge. I sent Mr. Hernandez a text the next day requesting the additional service, and he was so responsive and accommodating. He had his guys come back a few days later to grind both stumps at NO CHARGE. I can t remember the last time I experienced this level of customer service and generosity. All I can say is, if you need any tree work done, don t hesitate to hire Hernandez Tree Service.

This team arrived promptly and worked steadily and efficiently to remove 8 trees and grind the stumps. They then hauled away all of the wood and debris. I took other bids on the job and no one else could match their price. Excellent job. Great value. These guys are terrific.

Had a great experience removing an old oak tree and trimming a few others trees on the property. I would not hesitate to use Santos again and if you are considering a tree service this is the company to use! His crew was on time every day and worked extremely hard. Daily they made sure they left the area clean. They have the right equipment for every size job as mine was larger and they were able to handle it with ease. Santos prices are very reasonable compared to the other companies I received quotes from. I was fortunate to have been recommended to Santos and I recommend him without hesitation!!

After interviewing many local providers I decided to use Hernandez Tree for several reasons. 1. They do everything via email and electronic forms of communication with the customer. This makes them the most professional provider that i found on LI. Even the larger companies dont even give you a written estimate half the time. The office staff was nice and had all the information. 2. Price. Hernandez came in at the right price that was fair and honest. Other providers came in at crazy prices and Hernandez cut the BS and came in with a fair number. 3. They do good work. Came in on time finished quickly and efficiently. Left the job site clean and took everything away. Very impressed with the quality of the work and professionalism of the crew. Bottom line I will be recommending them to my neighbors who are also in the market for tree services.

In preparation for a major fence installation, Hernandez Tree Care Services removed 37 trees in a mature landscape. They also did stump removal on 27 of those trees and trimmed other remaining trees on the property. They did excellent work! They gave a fair price and stuck to the estimate. They were true to their commitments and delivered high quality work on time and on budget. Given the extensive amount of work they did there was minimum disruption to the landscape. We needed them to return to remove additional root in one place and they were very flexible about returning at no additional cost. I would highly recommend them. Hernandez Tree Care Services is a good company to do business with. They are customer service oriented in every way!

Hired Santos to take down a few large trees in my backyard, trim others and grind all stumps. Work that was quoted and paid for was not completed. I was told they had issues accessing the stumps with their grinder. After about 10+ calls to the office I was assured a crew would return to complete the work. When the crew showed up they told me they could not finish grinding the stump I had paid for because they couldnt access with the grinder. Unfortunately I made mistake of paying before they finished as I had to be at work that day. Here I am 3 months later having paid for work not completed and no response from Santos. Be careful before paying for their services.

Do not use. They stated they would be at my house first thing in the morning and never showed. Placed multiple calls to inquire on the service appointment constantly went to voicemail. Used a vacation day and waited all day. Extremely unprofessional.

this company is very unprofessional. they did come out and gave an estimate quickly. bur once you call for the job to commence the office staff took all your information and never return your calls. to schedule the kob the owner ss well made several appointments in which he did not show up nor gave a courtesy call for the no show.. Same issues stated from other posts. They quoted a job and never showed when they said they would. Left voicemails no call back. Nobody answers the office phone. Purely a scam!!!!!!

USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE GALD YOU DID!!!!!!! From the first phone call to the completed service Hernandez tree service was remarkable!! After my request for an estimate I received a response in 15 minutes with various times and a subsequent confirmation. My tree is huge and hung over my entire house - my neighbors trembled at the thought it would end up in their house. Hernandez came, told me how they would fix my problem and when they told me the price I felt like I hit the lottery - I had received estimates that ranged from $1,000 to $2,000 more. They sent me confirmation for the service and they came with a full crew, fixed my huge tree (which is literally ten feet from the side of my house) with no property damage. They cut the limbs into pieces, and left me with a 1/4 cord of wood I could use in my fire pit. They cleaned my yard and my neighbors and were professional and pleasant. Two hours from beginning to end.

Did great job

Had a tree come down on my electrical and cable wires. Call Hernandez first. They called back right away and told me someone would be out between 3 and 4 to help me. Guy came be at roughly 4:30(not too late), but just 1 guy. Not the tree trimmers. Told me he was just there for an estimate. When I explained to him the office said they were having the tree cut now, he was surprised. He called the office, and then told me the team would be by in a few hours.....they never showed. Now they wont return my calls or texts.....still have tree on wires....disgusting. not professional at all. Wont even call me back at this point. Dont trust them!!

I have used Hernandez Tree service a few times and they always do a great job! the first time I used them was when they dropped a flyer off at my mailbox and I took a chance to have have them remove some trees before Sandy hit. They were worth the chance, a lot of the trees were dead and would have caused a lot of damage but they removed them quickly and cleaned up everything afterwards.

They did an awesome job removing a tremendous tree that was damaged by the storm and hanging precariously over power lines. Also did a bang up job of cleaning up! Hernandez Tree Care was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond and did a fantastic job of clearing some huge branches we had hanging over our house from our neighbors trees. They took their time and carefully removed each branch from so high up without damaging anything. I would Use them again and I m very happy with their work. Highly recommend them.

Did a good job at a very competitive price with no hassle.

The men did an excellent job of removing 5 dead trees, one of which was extremely large. They were very careful not to damage surrounding trees. The cleanup afterwards was also very thorough. I highly recommend them and would use them again.

Great prices and very skilled however, they are not the best at cleaning up afterwards and made huge dents and damage to my lawn from the tree falling and clearing. They give excellent prices but if you care about your lawn just prepare for damage to it after they take it down.

We trimmed a lot of bushes before they came and they hauled the brush away for free. They were on time and took our tree down fast. Its amazing to me how they can climb a tree that tall and not damage anything (sheds, fences) around it. Job well done!
