Stewart knows what the heck he is doing with PacNW grass. Last year, we only used him for the Spring full package, this year we have stayed faithful to the regimen. Our yard through the hot days of summer required less water after the aeration and wetting agent, and since the September deathmatch, oversees, aeration, fertilizer and soil amendment, it is going gangbusters. In a week we have gotten strong germination of the seed (yay rain) and the lawn is maintaining a lush thick turf. Thats not easy to Dubai tut h a big dog and a yard that was neglected the 10 years prior to us moving in. He is conscientious of the cost and helps me make the right decisions to keep an economical, organic, and lush yard!

Had them out to thatch and aerate my yard. Stewart convinced me to wait till fall to thatch, as my wife runs a home daycare and the kids need a yard to play in this summer. He could have just taken the money and ran. Appreciate the honesty.

Really good guy. I used the contact form on his website and he called me later that day and came by. I had said I wanted aerating and thatching but with the small lawn that we have he suggested we get the new hand thatching tool that is really easy to use and not pay him to do it. He also gave us advice on lawn care. He aerated our yard that very same day. I really appreciate that he didnt try to oversell us on any products or services that we didnt need. He is very knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge - for no extra charge. We are very pleased with his service and will be calling him back in the fall.

I really had high hopes for Stewart and his company doing work on aerating, seeding and soil modification after reading his site, watching videos and reading reviews. Unfortunately my experience has been horrible though and wouldnt recommend him. It started with filling out his form online for service, which I never heard back from so after a week I called the number and left a message thinking maybe the form had issues. Never got a return call, so another week decided to call again and left another message. Shortly after that message I received a text asking me to fill out the form for faster service. I did right away, texting back it was complete. 5 days later no call, text, email...nothing. Texted the number again that I hadnt heard anything and still nothing.... So with that customer service I would definitely recommend staying away. Its really sad, its so hard to find good quality yard help around here without people either being flakey or just doing a poor job. I mean Im trying go give you my business and cant get any sort of response over weeks and multiple tries? Chalk this up to another one of those horrible experiences with yard help sadly.

I called Aerating-Thatching Co on Saturday afternoon and Stewart came out next day to aerate/fertilize/seed my lawn for a reasonable price. Not sure what happened here - sent an email inquiry in March, scheduled an appointment via email for early April but the company never showed up or contacted me to reschedule. Each follow up request via email generated a response with a different excuse - new phone technology, waiting for other customers in the neighborhood -- finally received a curt email with no explanation saying the service would not be provided. Very odd experience all around.

I didnt know what I needed, and Stewart came by and didnt oversell. He was very honest in what I needed to get my lawn into great shape. He is obviously interested in developing renewal business and not just getting the most out of a 1 time visit. He was also on time and there was good communication for scheduling and letting me know the day of when he was coming by.

Lawn at the house I bought had been neglected for many years and was in over my head trying to fix it. Called Stewart and he knew exactly what to do. He was straight up with what was needed, never up-sold, worked fast, and was very reasonable. 4 weeks ago it was a total disaster and now the lawn looks amazing, really didnt think it could turn out this nice. Scheduled aerating for a Saturday. He called and said hed be out in the next couple of hours. I said I might not be there but my husband would be. After disclosing I was gay, he was a no call no show for our appointment. After 2 hours I called and left a message. I finally get a call back and he said he was at my property but no one was home and he was unable to accommodate our lawn. I dont know if he ever even looked at the lawn. He said he knocked on the door but our dogs never barked and at least one of us was home the entire time. I asked him why he wouldnt have called me the moment he decided he couldnt aerate our lawn. To which he replied, Well, Im calling you now. Horrible customer service.

I have been using the Aerating Thatching Co. for 3 years and I am extremely happy with the service that they provide. Stewart Armour is a pro! He is very dedicated to helping the customer get the best looking lawn possible. He also makes recommendations on products (that he doesnt sell) to help keep your lawn looking awesome. His prices are fair, he is passionate about grass and I would refer him to anyone.

Stewart is a miracle worker. Our yard was full of moss and always very soggy. The grass looked horrible. Stewart explained we had a problem with the chemical balance in our soil and recommended a very economical treatment plan. He gave me a couple of tasks to do and a timeline of when to do them. It is now a few months later and our grass is thick and lush. The soggy mess is gone. He is coming back in the fall to de-thatch and get rid of the moss. Last week, I had a question about the lawn. I emailed my question and Stewart called me back quickly. Service and expertise are what you get with Stewart. We recommend him to everyone we know.

Stewart and his employees aerate our lawn once or twice a year. They are knowledgeable, skilled, and courteous. Full coverage of the lawn area as close to the perimeters as possible. I often get a lawn tip or two from Stewart with no up-sale pressure. I believe this is the fifth year of using his services. Ill have them come back again this fall. Always a thank-you for the employment upon their departure.

After aerating, thatching and over seeding in early June our mossy yard now looks super green and thick and healthy. Stuarts website is super helpful.

Hi Stewart, Thanks for thatching my lawn on Saturday, 8/23. I am looking forward to having my lawn aerated and fertilized in late September.

We had our lawn done in the spring and just recently for the fall. We have a number of evergreen trees in our backyard, which make having a nice lawn challenging. Our lawn has never looked better. We only have one smallish problem spot (related to very heavy tree cover), but its the smallest its even been. Stewart has always promptly responded to filling out the contact form on his website. He is super friendly and takes the time to talk to my toddler (who thinks all the equipment and activity is the best!).

I like a guy who can look at your lawn and knows immediately what to do. I was all set to thatch the bejiminey out of my lawn but he held me off and got me to wait until fall. He did do an aeration/seeding treatment (for less) in no time at all and set me up for work in August. Very credible guy; knows what hes doing. Hes going to be my lawn consultant from now on.

Stuart was quickly to my place and got right down to business. He started looking over my lawn and made some immediate suggestions. While he got the aeration started quickly - which was my request and he agreed, he didnt push for anything additional, just made a few suggestions. Also, he took a video with my iphone making several of his recommendations available for download and review when the time comes. I think Ill be coming back to Stuarts service again when needed!

We had a very large lawn that had really been neglected for 20 years. After installing a new deck that overlooked our very tattered and ratty looking lawn, my wife wanted to install synthetic grass. She said the lawn was hopeless. I said lets get someone who comes well recommended and see if we can resurrect our lawn. We chose Stuart. My wife thinks what Stuart accomplished was a miracle. He thatched, aerated and seeded our lawn (with a fertilizer also). Our lawn is now lush, full and beautiful. I cant think Stuart enough -- he helped me avoid my wifes synthetic lawn prescription which would have cost us about $20,000!. He is the consummate professional -- prompt, timely and thorough in his explanation of what hes doing and why. We give Stuart our very highest recommendation.

Got the work done very quickly, and also recommended overseeding and fertilizing, which he also did that same day. Will definitely call him again for any lawn needs. Great prices, fast service!
