I dont know if it is just me or this happened to all their customers, but this company is really hard to work with. Just getting an estimate / bid is like pulling teeth.. I saw a lot of five star rating on Google and would like to hire them to do a retaining wall replacement job. Called them and spoke with the owner Jo Calo. OMG, I have never ran into anybody from a legit service company , that treats prospect customer like this company did.. The person on the phone who claim to be the owner, is so arrogant and disrespectful.. he interrupted me multiple times, and his tone is condescending as if I am asking them to do a tens of thousands of dollar worth job for free... and all is is just trying to get a bid from them... In this line of work, when your customer is willing to give you an opportunity to participate in a bid for a job that pays you, you need to humble yourself and behave properly.. If this clown is this arrogant even BEFORE earning my business, how the hell can I trust him doing a good job? Dont use them!

This company was referred to me by a person that was contracted to do work at my home. My number was forwarded to the owner of garden lights landscaping (Joe). I received a call from Joe the same day, he ask if he could come and see my yard and discuss the very large project that I wanted to complete this summer. He quickly set an appointment to meet ( a week from the conversation). After I change my schedule to meet with him, he was a no show. Thirty minutes after appointment time I called and left a message to see if he was going to be late.He returns my call 1hour later to inform me that his company does not service the area I live in ( His company address is less than 15 minutes away from my home). He had a week to notify me that the appointment was canceled. This was very unprofessional.

Garden Lights did a great job with our new retaining wall and grading our backyard. We now have a space that s much more conducive to our kids playing in it and for us to spend time as a family. They also handled the permitting process for us and were very responsive to any questions we had throughout the process.

We live on a slope and struggled for years getting grass/plantings to grow and stay in place due to constant run off each time we had a hard rain. Garden Lights installed a drainage solution that worked perfectly and installed landscaping that transformed our backyard. They were professional, friendly and easy to work with. Garden Lights Landscaping did a wonderful job. We used them last year for phase 1 and they did a nice job. For phase 2 the company has grown and they knocked it out of the park. I waited a month to post to make sure all the plants and sod are doing well, and I can say EVERY plant and all the sod is doing great. The yard is unrecognizable from the mess we had. Neighbors are coming up all the time with compliments and asking questions. A+++

He was onsite multiple times throughout the day, working with us to find exactly the type of plants and color schemes we would be happy with. His team was hardworking, very easy to talk with about changes, got the job done in what felt like record time, and cleaned up after they were finished. Weve already had multiple neighbors comment on how amazing our yard now looks! From the first phone call to the finished product was maybe 2 weeks. They have a repeat customer in us.
