The owner of this business,Rick, was very responsive to any calls or texts and professional in doing the job. He got us ten 6’ Arborvitae’s, delivered and planted them. For the planting, he had 10yrds of topsoil delivered and then he spread it creating a much needed burm for the trees. Has a great work ethic. We are very happy with this job and plan on hiring this business for more work in spring
Rick and his crew just completed a Spring clean-up of the entire yard and remulched the front yard. We found Rick & his crew very timely and efficient for both the estimate appointment and completing the job. Well done. We will use his services again.
I bought my house last spring and was referred to Rick from a friendwho he did work for. I hired Rick to cut down some trees and shrubs in my backyard. He did a great job and his price was very fair, so much so that I hired him back 2 days ago to remove 8 shrubs/bushes/trees from my front yard. Rick and his crew were awesome; professional, friendly and did a GREAT job. Some of thoses bushes and shrubs were not easy to take out, either. Again, good price. Both times he came and gave an estimate and he was able to tell me the best direction to go. I will be reaching out to him next year, to inquire about him landscaping my front yard.
Rick and his team did an amazing job on our front landscaping! It was an overgrown mess and it looks beautiful now. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommend!

We had Rick and his team come to tidy up our hedges as they were crazy over-grown. It was super easy to get ahold of him, and he always got back to me within one business day if he wasn't available upon my initial call. He was also very patient and understanding when we had to postpone our originally scheduled date. His team worked for the equivalent of a whole day (they worked the entirety of the afternoon on day one and then a few hours in the morning of day two) on our front and back hedges and made them look spectacular! And as the company name infers, Affordable Yard Maintenance was by far the most affordable. I called about half a dozen different companies before settling on Rick. Highly recommend and will undoubtedly use again in the future!
We are very pleased with our services from Rick and his team. Right from the start he was an excellent communicator and provided a quote within a couple days from our first conversation. He was extremely affordable and did a great job fitting the work in even in the rainy weather! He kept me updated throughout to let me know when he would be coming and now that the work is done I have nothing but good things to say. He went above and beyond for my yard clean up!! We definitely will use him again in the future.
These guys are a pleasure to work with. I need someone reliable to maintain my property while I spend winters on the west coast. In the past I have been lucky if my previous company even showed up let alone do a thorough job. Affordable Yard Maintenance always shows up and exceeds expectations. A++. I highly recommend.

Just fired Affordable Yard Maintenance after numerous calls to Rick to clean up one of our properties and he was a no show. Also received a number of complaints from our tenants at our other building. I found him very unprofessional toward the end of the relationship and would not recommend this company.
This man made THREE appointments with me and didnt show up for any of them. The first two werent specific times but when I called to ask where he was, he said he was busy and would come by at a specific time the next day. When he didnt show up for that one, he said something had come up that was more important than (apparently) even picking up the phone to reschedule. Then he hung up without even the courtesy of an apology. If you are too busy to take on new clients, TELL them that! Dont make appointments and then not show up or call. Rude.

Avoid it, if possible. Just taking him to court because the job he did, Rick Rickson, is below standard. If this is his real name, he will have to pay for it. His lack of knowledge about plants and yard care is obvious. The stone garden he built is more like a pebble covered dry water bed and the weeds came up 2 weeks after it was done.
