I called on a Friday afternoon and Marcus was there on Monday afternoon. Marcus is a craftsman at his work. He took the time to walk our yard and listen to our needs. After quoting us a very reasonable price he went to work that same day. Our yard has never looked this good! Marcus is neat and pays meticulous attention to details. Compared to some other local providers, Hender Bornes came out at the specified time and provided up front pricing and prompt follow up service. They also mow on a specified day and will let you know about any delays (ie-due to wet grass/rain). I don t have to hunt them down and wonder when they are coming. I have a stubborn streak and trust issues, so after a couple of unfortunate attempts at hiring a lawn crew I had resigned to doing the work myself - much to the chagrin of my HOA. That is, until I saw the Hender-Bornes crew at my neighbor s home. I had already seen the quality work I could expect, they got my lawn worked into the rotation quickly and helped remove a bush that had frozen up in 2021. I m very happy to have a trustworthy person to work with so I can offload one of my most time consuming chores and know it will be done well beyond my own standards.

I contacted Marcus in the late evening and he scheduled to come out and give me a quote the following day. My yard had gotten completely out of control (horrible), yet Marcus showed up, walked the property and said that he could get me in right then and there with a very modest price! Absolutely over the moon with this company. Heather responded really quick and was able to get Marcus over for a same day quote. Marcus is kind, polite, and very personable so it was like asking a family friend for help- no judgement on the state of things, just a helping hand. He asked what our budget was so we could gameplan on what to do but we said whatever it takes because the yard needed more help than us plebs could even begin to handle. He sent over a quote and it was so much better than we had hoped! The price was so reasonable and when we got home, we were absolutely floored by how great the backyard looked- it had never looked that good in 20 years. It feels like people live here and not a haunted estates garden! We were able to pay with a card which is a huge plus!
