I would highly recommend Deans for any patio work. They installed our raised patio 10 years ago with a built in grill and we still love it and have received compliments from everyone who sees it. The grill needed to be replaced recently and of course we contacted Deans Landscaping. The new grill was larger then the old one. They came out and modified the enclosure for the new grill and you can not even tell it was modified.

My Wife and I are absolutely speechless!! Deans knocked it out of the park!! They built us a patio of our dreams as well as amazing landscaping. I have to give so much credit to the individuals who brought this to life. We have received so many compliments from our neighbors already. You guys are AMAZING!! I give them my highest recommendation.

Dont call Deans unless you have money to burn. The Highest Cost for Landscaping Services in Lake County. We contacted 6 different companies for quotes in the area to do our backyard. Deans sent out a young lady who looked everything over (as did other companies). Deans quote was by far the highest (yes I compared apples to apples). There is no real artistry involved in revamping an existing yard with some top soil, sod, gravel and mulch replacement, so I can only equate the huge price differences to profiteering. Deans does have a good reputation for doing good work so Im sure they are very busy and now pick their clients based on how much they can make off of them rather than by the worth of the actual job. Its the old supply and demand theory at play. Deans is busy so if you want them you are going to pay A LOT MORE. The 6 quotes ranged from $3800 to $31,604. I dont mind paying for services but this is out of line. Be sure to read their reply to my honest review. I m somehow harboring I ll will I don t know these people nor anyone who works there. Anyone who wants to see the truth for themselves is welcome to. All the quotes I gathered were sent to me via email after each companies visit and inspection for their formal quotes. Happy to forward to anyone who cares to look. Absolutely huge differences in prices. Dean s was in fact 2-3 times higher than everyone and I can prove it. ill will ? Dean s, shame on you.

Ive been using Deans now for two years. They had great ideas on what to plant in my garden and scheduled all the work at my request. They guaranteed replacement of new plants that didnt make it past a year and were very responsive in doing so. Deans Lawn & Landscaping did a fantastic job repairing our lawn and adding a stone trim after we put in a pool and deck. They worked really hard on some very hot days and even did patch repairs in areas that I didnt even ask about. From the initial visit to the completion of the work, Deans was efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. I fully plan to use them again in the future when we are ready for the next stage of landscaping modifications on the home.

I had a large flagstone patio that had crumbling/cracked mortar joints. Deans removed the joints, repositioned some of the flagstone and filled the joints with gator dust (a type of polymeric sand) . Looks brand new! Took less than a day. Workers were knowledgeable and professional- did a great job. Very pleased. Would definitely use them again.

Dean s Landscaping built a 50ft retention wall, as well as a large bolder retention wall to create a paver patio for me. They worked with me on the price, aesthetics, materials, and days of service for both projects. Everyone is friendly, professional and knows their speciality well. I omitted on time because as everyone knows , the weather is always a determining factor with getting outside work done , but it s completed and beautiful . Weve used Deans for several projects. Most recently, they installed a pool for us. Although when they came out to give an estimate, they did not think it would fit. Instead of giving up, they measured and spent time figuring it out. They found the perfect pool that fit! Changed the entire feel of the backyard from something that wasnt very useful to a nice oasis.

Called and asked for an estimate to mulch our flower beds and to create new flower beds with plants in our back yard around our new patio and storage shed. It took two weeks for them to send someone by. They showed up and I went over what we were looking to have done. A month later I still dont have the quote for the work. I havent been contacted at all. I took time off from work for the appointment the least they could do is actually provide a quote for the work. Very Unprofessional.

Deans actually showed up to start the project early and they transformed the curb appeal of our home. I am extremely satisfied with work that David and Brian did installing patio blocks to enlarge my back concrete slab. I was amazed at the number of steps taken to professionally install my small job of only 46 blocks....I had no idea. I thought the job would take half a day, but due to the constant measuring, the digging, the compacting several times, the top gravel, the detailed leveling method, and on and on, including edge dirt with seeds, it took about 10 hours. At first I thought Deans was priced a little high but not after seeing the quality of their work. I definitely recommend Deans for any landscaping work.

I hired Deans landscaping after a major plumbing Fiasco in my front yard. Deans Landscaping Designer worked tireless hours to put together pictures of what I would like in New plants and how they would look in my front landscaping of my house After a plumbing company left a huge hole in my front yard and had to pull out 2 of my 6 25 year old huge hedges. After choosing what I liked, the Designers Crew pulled up the other 4 huge hedges. Deans also had taken up the rock as I requested and hauled it away. Then the Beauty started to come out with Deans crew putting it all together again with my landscaping blocks back in place, new beautiful lively colorful plants, beautiful new mulch, nice new vibrant bright green sod and most of all fixed the huge plumbing hole in my front yard. We has a front landscape remodel last spring and fixed a back area of the yard to alleviate flooding. Great ideas and follow through from planning to finish. We hired Dean s Lawn and Landscaping to do a project in our backyard. It consisted of covering a concrete patio with pavers, enlarging the patio area and adding stone steps from our back door. In addition we added trees and plants where there was only grass. To finish the project they added brick edging all around the area including the side and front of our property. It was a big job and Dean s crew came through for us. They worked extremely hard in not so comfortable conditions. Dean himself came out to check the progress several times during the 2 week process. I have to say that I am more than pleased with the job that was done. I truly love, love, love my backyard now. I went there for Yoga in the Garden. I left so inspired by their water features and plants in the garden. The plants they are selling look to be in very good health. Only idea since I am new to gardening and landscaping is to have the plants that are planted in the garden labeled with their name and if they are a native plant.

I worked with Dean s this year to fill the outside of my home with all their beautiful baskets and flowers. My house has never looked so beautiful! I appreciated the landscapers and staff members for taking the time to meet with me. Super friendly, great quality, and definitely worth the visit :)

Eric met with us in late March a couple years ago at our home and listened to our ideas. We basically had a blank slate to work with and we didnt know what to do. He created a beautiful design with 3D illustrated drawings so we could better visualize what the end product would look like. He incorporated our requests. Once it warmed up the crew arrived and removed all the rocks the former owners had left buried under a few inches of soil. The final product looks amazing two years later, grown wonderfully and is low maintenance. We just have to water, add mulch and trim the boxwoods once a year. The plants he chose bloom all season long! My wife asked for a quirky bush and he delivered with the Heuchera Caramel Coral Bells. We constantly comment to each other how much we love our landscaping.

Using Google Earth, Dean will come up with designs to fit your space. You ll be able to select actual materials right from their beautiful yard, not from a brochure. Once construction begins, you ll be kept in the loop daily. It was obvious to us that Dean s Landscaping wants you to be happy with your completed project. The workmen are very knowledgeable and thorough. They treated our property as their own, including cleaning up every night before they left. I recommend Dean s Landscaping to everyone. Our backyard was having bad drainage issues that seemed to get worse every year. Half of it was pretty much a swamp until August. Dean came out multiple times and went over what would be the best way to correct the problems and explain why different ideas would or wouldn t work. He went above and beyond before we even signed a contract to reassure us that they could fix the problem and stopped by a lot while the work was being done to ensure that we were happy with it and answer any questions we had. He was always available for questions/concerns and would respond almost immediately any time we contacted him. The yard is exactly what we asked for and doesn t have the drainage issues anymore. Dean s Landscaping replaced brick wall on our raised bed planter at the front of our house. They tore out the old wall that had settled over the last 20 years. In addition, they removed 2 stumps, removed and replaced 3 shrubs in the front of the house. The entire job only took 2 days! Great crew, pleasant and hard workers.

Dean s Landscaping is amazing! I called them several weeks ago for an estimate on getting some much needed landscaping done in our front yard. The owner came out, listened to what I wanted, made some good suggestions, and was able to get within our budget for the project, which was scheduled for this week, and also emailed me a printout of what he had in mind. They ve touched base since then, regarding the exact schedule, so that was great. His crew showed up this morning at 8am, and Dean was here twice today, making sure everything was going smoothly. Franck & Alberto did an excellent job, and it looks great...a huge improvement! Very good attention to detail, and they cleaned everything up when they were done. Dean runs a very good business, and I would recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I were looking for a quality landscaper to assist us with a complete backyard overhaul including a pool, paver pool surround, outdoor kitchen and living space, fireplace, and beautiful landscaping to top it all off. We collected designs and quotes from four companies and Deans Landscaping was our first choice by a landslide. The customer service is spectacular, the design simply stunning, and the focus on quality was superior to the other companies. Other companies did not exhibit the knowledge, design expertise, or willingness to guarantee their work to the extent of Deans Landscaping. Dean stands behind his work and has a rock solid guarantee to back it up. He held our hands through a frustrating HOA and local municipal approval process, worked seamlessly with the pool company, was onsite himself practically everyday, was always available for any questions or concerns, and delivered a final project that FAR exceeded our expectations. His crews were always on time, courteous, available for questions, and if weather interfered we received a call and/or email first thing in the morning making us aware of any delay. Our neighbors, friends, and family are just in awe and consistently comment on how beautiful the space is and we as a family basically live outback this relaxing little oasis. If you are looking for top-notch results coupled with superior customer service, I cannot recommend Deans Landscaping enough.

Im pleased with the landscaping work they did in my backyard, everything looks great.

1st class operation top to bottom. They came out to the site in order to prepare a detailed quote with drawing of plant layout. Office visit walked us thru the scope of work/layout and explained why specific plant sizes and colors were chosen. The installers and owner showed up for the tear out and install when they said they would and staged the plant placement to show us what the finished product would look like. The crew stayed on the project without interruption until complete. Great job by all.

The comment by A Google User is exactly the same experience we have had with Deans. Very well stated. Mr. Flores comments are a result of his being fired. I have seen evidence of respect for employees by Dean and know that he compensates them fairly. Dean has a very good eye for design that enhances each individual project. We are very pleased with the patio that turned out better than we even expected. He has put together a professional group of workers that demonstrate quality performance. His long term employees are an indication that he values their efforts and treats them fairly. I highly recommend Deans Landscaping.
