Got an estimate May 18th, nice guy came out and talked about my trees and options; saw I had a fence and talked about needing to remove it to reach the back tree with their equipment and asked if the fence could be removed, I said sure. After accepting the offer they gave me a date they would come out and remove them. Well my date got pushed back not once not twice but THREE TIMES (for apparently 2 months worth of heat advisories). After the third reschedule they pushed me back TWO WEEKS, all signs showed they were going to come. They showed up today (no time given, just told me morning in the email), saw that they couldn t get through my back fence that I told them they could take down; so instead of starting on the front tree accessible from the city road, they tried to call me; but because I was sleeping and didn t answer THEY LEFT and went to a different project to start - guess it wasn t too hot for that customer!! I was inside the house sleeping, had they been doing their chainsaws or trucks (OR EVEN RANG THE DOORBELL) I could have heard them and woken up nope they left for them to text me and tell me they would reschedule me again... I wish I could have left a quality review on their work but after nearly TWO MONTHS they never offered any sort of remedy they just seem to not want to come, glad they don t make you pay ahead of time Heard this has happened to a few people; will deter people I work with from this happening to others.

Cut a tree down for our neighbors, left a huge mess, damaged our lawn severely, left giant holes to step in, broke furniture and my birdhouse, damaged our concrete where are grill goes. Didnt leave so much as an apology letter or a card. Not sure if our neighbors are as unhappy as we are, but I would not recommend this company whatsoever. How rude of a business to leave such a mess on someones property without at the very least offering to make it right.

Wonderful group of people to work with. They were easy to communicate with, reasonably priced, kept to their schedule, and did not damage anything as they removed a large tree from a tricky spot. I would definitely recommend them to others, and use their services again.

We contracted with On A Limb Tree Care to remove eighteen mature pine trees, which were approximately 50 feet tall. One was close to our swimming pool and the rest ran along a rear property line immediately adjacent to a chain link fence. Additionally, two of the neighboring properties had wooden sheds in close proximity to the trees. Needless to say, it was a complicated project with tight clearances and they did a great job removing all of the trees and debris in two days.

Travis was a delight to work with, especially since he is so knowledgeable about different tree species, their growing tendencies, and overall curb appeal. He was incredibly efficient at trimming all the trees on our property and did exactly as promised. Would definitely recommend him and hire again for additional needs. Thank you!

Travis was working on a tree next door and a limb got away and damaged my fence. My wife and I were not home and Travis could have easily finished his job and left without a word. Instead, he contacted us and let us know what happened. We exchanged a few emails and within days he arranged for the fence to be repaired good as new. This level of professionalism and simply doing the right thing needs to be shared with others.

We had a 120 pine that was encroaching on and destroying our driveway. Travis and his helper came out and had it down in less than 2 hours. Clean up and stump grinding went flawless, even with cable wires running right next to the stump. Very efficient and professional. We dont even consider hiring anyone else for our tree care needs.

I had two white pines and several other smaller trees along a fence removed for (possible) safety reasons. The crew was remarkable. On this very hot and humid day, they started at 6:30 a.m. and didnt stop until the job was done at approximately 7:30 p.m. Very reasonably priced, professional crew who was very respectful of the neighborhood and did a great job completing the work that was contracted. I would 100% recommend On a Limb Tree Care to anyone looking for work to be done and will certainly be a forever customer.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I had a maple tree removed that was very close to power lines. Tree came down with no problems. You might have to wait sometime for service, but it s certainly worth it. Very reasonably priced. Travis is honest, professional, punctual. Will definitely use him again.

I had On a Limb come give me estimates on a few different trees I was considering for removal and they were some of the best prices in the area. I used them on two different occasions and scheduling was super easy; the timeframes they gave me were great--not a long wait at all. The guys came and completed the job(s) in only a few hours and youd never know I had two huge trees with the thoroughness in which they grind down the stumps and cleaned up! I had a dying 60 Norway maple tree very close to the house and coming up through the deck. I had called a number of tree places and Travis was the first to actually come out for an estimate. He offered a number of options for removal and scheduling and was very responsive to work with. Excellent communication both by phone and email. Estimate was more than fair given the location of the tree and there were no additional charges added on after the tree was down. The work was done very quickly and very cleanly. They needed no instruction on my part and just got right to work. As I work from home, there was minimal disturbance and they were super courteous to both me and my neighbors. 10/10, would recommend.

The wind blew a big spruce tree into my driveway the evening of March 1. The man from On a Limb came by the next day to assess and give an estimate. He brought his equipment the following day, and in about two hours, had everything cleared away and cleaned up. When Travis came to give us an estimate, I knew that he really knows trees. He understands how trees grow and work together, and best practices for tree care. He is not just a guy with a chainsaw! Travis and his crew took down four 75 foot Norway spruces out of our front yard in the middle of February. He did it safely, and the yard survived the heavy machinery, despite being the beginning of mud season. And, although his knowledge level exceeds most other tree professionals Ive talked to, his prices are very competitive. I will definitely use On a Limb Tree Care again for any arborist work that I need done in the future, and I recommend them unreservedly.

I was given a quote and a date to get my arborvitaes pruned. Travis did not show up on the date he provided. In addition to not showing up, there was no communication. No call, text, or email. Did not respond to any calls or emails that day. Weeks later I finally received an email from Travis stating he would show up on another date. Did not show up once again on that date. Did not call, email, or text after not showing up. Completely unprofessional. Zero customer service. Would not recommend to anyone.

Really glad we went with Travis to remove a bunch of trees and grind the stumps. He came and gave an estimate and locked in a time frame for the work to begin. The estimate was well detailed and he beat all the otuer quotes on price. When it came time for the work to be done, he showed up with one other person and they went to work. This was hands down the best experience I have had to date hiring a contractor. From the time that I first spoke to Travis (owner) until the moment the job was complete he was professional, courteous, and very responsive. The three man team showed up at 8am and by 4pm they were leaving after removing 4 very large trees and dead-wooding two others. This was no easy project, all of the trees were surrounded by obstacles - a very large garden, garden shed, deck, glass sunroom, and fence. Not one item was out of place when they were done. In fact, the yard was cleaner than when they arrived. All of this for an incredibly reasonable price (between 10-14% lower than my other two estimates). To watch them remove limbs that were expertly suspended by ropes and swing them back into the open space so they caused no damage was impressive. Horrible experience... I received a quote in July. The work was supposed to be completed in August. I received an email indicating there would be a delay of 1 week. After 2 weeks I reached out to on a limb. They rescheduled the work in September. They showed up on the scheduled day and I got a knock on my door. Travis indicated they would have to come back because he did not have the right parts. Another week or so passed so I reached out again. They rescheduled again... on the next scheduled day I received an email indicating their equipment broke but they would be over that week. That week came and went and they did not show up or contact me. I finally asked them to cancel my job.

Ive worked with Travis for years. At my last place he cabled an old maple that I wanted to keep, but was worried about potential for damage to my home in the event of a big storm. He did a great job and the tree remains fully in tact years later. He also removed several large trees from my backyard and removed the stumps as well. He worked efficiently and made a dramatic improvement to my backyard without leaving much of a trace that he was even there. Most recently Travis came to my (very quick!) rescue at my new home/property after a large tree came down in a micro burst, damaging my roof, fence, and deck. We recently had storm damage to our very old and large silver maple tree in our yard that fortunately fell into the yard and did not damage our house. A friend of mine recommended Travis and his team and we couldnt be more pleased. As Travis is a trained arborist, he was able to let me know that I wouldnt have to take the whole tree down, it was healthy, and we only needed to cut back the broken branch and place a support cable on another tree limb to prevent another large limb from damaging our house potentially during another storm. Travis and his crew did a fantastic job. We have a massive white pine that was taking over our yard with low hanging branches that didn t allow for any sunlight to get through, causing our yard to be a sea of pine needles. He helped us decide to trim the tree up 25- 30 feet to allow us to grow a lush lawn of grass and a garden. Grass is in and garden is planned for next spring. As far as him and his crew, they were on time, fast, efficient, and very clean. We were amazed at what a great job they did. Highly recommend, but must be willing to be patient for your appointment. We have an enclosed back yard which has a lot of trees and had a large Fir tree with a co-dominant stem (2 trunks) that was dying or dead and in danger of falling on our house. Also we had another 2 trees which were hanging over our neighbors property and dumping fall leaves in their pool area. Travis and his crew came out and did a great job removing 2 of the trees trimming back one and trimming some other trees back on the other side of our property that was too close to our house. They were super efficient and worked the whole time (all with climbing and cutting, no cherry picker). They were here and got the job done quickly and cleaned up afterwards. Also, the bill was exactly the same as the estimate Travis had given me. We were very pleased with their work! Would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a tree service.

We were looking for a trained arborist who would know how to prune to train growth to fill holes in a tree canopy, stop a tree from growing towards the house and alleviate crossing branches -- all whilst maintaining a natural look. They did a very good job cleaning up the debris from the trees which they removed, and were very prompt and polite and reasonable.
