Excellent First Year Results!! I was looking for a locally owned business to contract with for lawn care and I was referred to Green Thumb by another lawn care business at the beginning of the 2024 season (because their schedule was packed and they couldn't fit me in). That in and of itself spoke volumes to me. I am so pleased with the condition of my lawn after only one season with Green Thumb. I wish I had thought to take "before" photos so the drastic improvement could be appreciated. My lawn was one huge weed patch, but after contracting for a season of treatment (including aeration) it is like a new lawn. My tech Nat, always gave a courtesy call a day or two in advance of his arrival, so I knew when to expect him. The office staff were always knowledgeable and friendly whenever I called with a question. I highly recommend!!

My landlord continues to use these clowns. Over the last 2 years they have weed whacked bushes of flowers that I have been growing for multiple generations, various plants and vegetables. They have ripped apart a greenhouse I built that was actively growing squash and melons. These guys have no idea what they're doing and have no respect for anyone's personal property. Do not hire them if you value the plants you are growing. These are just a bunch of idiots with no brains who see plants and cut them.

We had several years of good service, but we had issues last fall and this spring with newly-seeded areas of the lawn. They were responsive in sending someone out to inspect the areas and talk over the issues we had, and they assured us that the areas would improve in two weeks. They indicated that they would re-seed the patches if the lawn didn't adequately respond.

Green Thumb took good care of my lawn for about 5 years. However, in July of 2020 I called them to stop and cancel my lawn treatments as I sold my home. The lady on the phone told me everything was set with my cancelation. In December of 2020 I got a bill from them telling me I owned them money for the October and November fertilization treatments, so I called them back saying I had called to cancel back in July and they told me they were going to review my case as they couldn't find anything in their system. Nonetheless, a few days later I got a second bill and a letter that basically blamed me for never canceling on the premises that 1) I could've cancelled by requesting it in writing and 2) I received two calls a day before the October and November treatments were going to be applied. The contract never says you MUST cancel in writing, but it says you MAY. I clearly remember calling them and the person I spoke to clearly didn't tell me I had to provide a written cancelation request. Yes, I received the calls for the October and November treatments hours before they arrived to my old house and I ignored them as I thought the new house owners were paying for those and the guy that used to call me before each treatment (Matt - nice guy) had just forgotten to update his contact information. When I sold my house I strongly recommended the buyers to continue with Green Thumb in order to keep the lawn in great condition so I figured they had done so and I was being called in error because I did cancel. In the end, I sent them a check and told them how disappointed I was of them. Being a loyal customer for years, bringing them two new clients (2 ex-neighbors) and then recommending them to the people that bought my home only to be treated like that speaks a lot about how things work there. Yes, I made that call and I was verbally confirmed I had cancelled the next two fall treatments. The fact that the person there failed to update my account is not my fault, they should record all calls, and in cases where they have no evidence I didn't make that call then they should state that with solid proofs and not try to blame me without any valid reasoning or just based on assumptions like they did.

We purchased our property last year. When we did, our lawn was infested with weeds and was very thin. After searching the capital region for Lawncare companies, we decided on Green Thumb Lawncare. Dane came out and gave me a quote for weed control and fertilization. They had the best price and decided to give them a try. After the first treatment, you could see a noticeable difference! Now near the end of the season, our lawn is beautiful! Thick, green, and healthy. The company is very professional and our technician is responsive to our needs. Very highly recommend and we will continue to use their services for years to come. Very satisfied.

After a bad experience with Tru Green, I showed Green Thumb my issues. I then hired their services. After applying weed killer & applying a grub treatment, a large area in my front yard was taken over by large weeds. When my son pulled them out it, there was infestation of grubs. I wish I was able to attach the pictures that I took. Will think twice before hiring a lawn service again, its a rip off. My neighbors who do nothing to their lawns look better then mine after investing a small fortune

This lawn care company offers value and quality service for a reasonable price and responds promptly to all inquiries concerning lawn care. They do not provide lawn mowing but offer services for fertilisation.Have used them for 5 years.
