This service has false advertising the assessment is free the guy came to tell me that he wants to change the starter in a new lawnmower when the only I requested to fix was the pole cord and coil. Now they are asking me with invoice to pay something that isn t repair like they leave me to believe for $120 + taxes now they want to charge me for any repair just assessment that supposed to be free. Carful wired way to make business maybe scam.

I have a small cub cadet riding lawnmower that wouldn t start. Die exercise, I have been trying to mow the lawn, using my battery, powered lawnmower, however, the frequent rains have made cutting the lawn a twice a week activity. William diagnosed the problem and fixed it very quickly. He was very courteous and very helpful! I would recommend them highly, and will invite them back in the fall to help me with my snowblower.

Was not overly impressed, I called and then texted to make an appointment and in under 2 min i had a reply saying that my make of trimmer (Ryobi) was very hard and they doubt they could fix it, I just got the impression they didnt want to even try to fix it.

The service technician came right on time. He was polite and explained clearly the problem and how he fixed it.

I requested a service call on Friday afternoon and the Repair guy showed up at my house on Monday and had my snow blower working in less than 30 minutes. I am so ripped of of $100.00 I am a senior on fixed income I was told my lawn mower cannot be fix I need to buy a new one however he still charge me $100.00 Came back a second time with parts however says he cannot fix lawnmower. Just to let you know my son bought the parts for 7.00 dollars and now fix our lawnmower I am not happy with on spot repair and I was being gouged $100.00

He came exactly on time, put my mower into his van without wasting a single minute he fixed my lawnmower. He said there was a tiny little clog in the carb, he was honest. I m happy to the jewel of his honesty and work.

While not a typical repair of a lawnmower or snowblower, I requested On the Spot Repair to fix my gas powered 4200 psi pressure washer pump that had a small leak, but otherwise ran fine. I had purchased a repair kit which included the low and high pressure seals and had Bill from On the Spot Repair come to install them. I was quoted $120 for the service call and $80 for the charge to change the seals. Upon completion, Bill asked me to connect the hose and test the pressure washer. I could see the pump was still leaking, but whats worse is that I could no longer pull over the engine. After paying over $220 for this service, which led to my pressure washer being in a worse state than before the service, I requested Gavin (the owner) to at least refund my $80 charge to fix the seals, understanding that $120 service call would be sunk for their time and cost to come to my house. Gavin said he would talk to Bill who performed the service and get back to me. I did not hear back from Gavin after this despite repeated attempts. I suppose they make a good business repairing quite simple machines like lawnmowers and snowblowers, but I definitely would not recommend this company to repair anything that has more than an engine, a carburetor, blades or paddles. Furthermore, any reputable repairman would not accept and charge customer the original quoted price for something they could not fix, and furthermore, made the machine inoperable. And lastly, never hearing back from the owner after he said he would get back to me is extremely telling of the way this business operates. Very poor service in my opinion.

Bill is an incredible technician. Whereas some mechanics will only address the problems you the customer flag, Bill does a comprehensive review of the engine to figure out exactly what is going on, and exactly what is needed to address the actual problem (as opposed to what the customer thinks the problem might be). In my case, had Bill not gone the extra mile, I might not have had a properly functioning snow blower for the upcoming snow season. Thanks Bill!

I wont give this guy any stars. I spoke with one of the men, and he is very rude, and he has no patience to explain. He doesnt want me to ask questions but accept the price he is telling me. He wants me to pay $90 for visiting and telling me whether they can repair or not. There is no proper price quote, so he can rip me off after repair or without repair. These guys may be cheaper compared to other places, but they are toxic in how they handle their business. Ive read many good reviews on this website, but I guess most of them are from his family or friends or paid for. If you want to hire these guys for their services, please be aware of my warnings.

On Spot personnel have their own van loaded with tools to do your job, they even had a small lift inside so they dont have to bend down.... other companies should take notice ... Im very happy with the service. The rep arrived when he said he would and did a complete going over of the snowblower. He replaced the broken auger cable, changed the oil and then he cleaned and oiled everything. When he was finished it started on the first pull. I was very impressed with the rep as he was very professional and courteous. He had all the answers to my questions when I asked. I will be sure to use this service again in the future and will recommend the service to others.

What a great experience.. First of all, it was the coolest truck that showed up... A hydraulic lift that drops to get the snowblower into the truck, then a second hydraulic lift to get the snowblower to eye level and the repairs began. 30 minutes later, i had a working snowblower. The service was exceptional, extremely convenient and the cost was reasonable. If you dont have the ability to load your snowblower into a vehicle to get it serviced or repaired, I would highly recommend On Spot Mower Repair!!

My 2-stage snowblower could not start due to built up ethanol in the carburetor because of leaving gas in the tank for many years. My 15 yr old blower stored for 10 yrs, so in 1 hour they replaced carb (in stock on truck), serviced fuel line/tank, now works perfect! Technician arrived in a cube van that was fully stocked with parts and even had a hydraulic lift for the snowblower. He figured out the problem in no time and had it running like new in less than a half hour. These are my go to guys from now on.
