When you have been a customer since about 1991 that in itself should tell everybody something. Anytime I have a question or a possible issue Mark Deloach is quick to respond. Multiple times I have answered my doorbell to be asked what I do for my lawn and I am proud to give all the credit to Lawn Doctor. his technicians are always professional and punctual. If it was possible to put a sign in my front yard that says Lawn Care by Lawn Doctor I would love to have it in my yard.

Since we switched back to Lawn Doctor or entire yard looks Lush and green. That says a lot considering the weather and heat of South Carolina. They are communicative and friendly.

Dealing with brown spots that I am informing the person from the company about. I am not an expert, but just pay more money for fertilizer that hasnt help. I am frustrated and disappointed.

Last lawn application might have been too much as it left a strong chemical odor for days.

I had new sod put down last fall and they started treatment this Spring and were supposed to put a Pre-emmergent down for weeds. I have so many kinds of weeds in my yard. My yard looked better before they started treating it. I emailed them pictures and they said your due for service. 1 month goes by and nothing. I have my feeling that they never put any chemicals down They put the flag in the yard and they did not treat the yard. Think twice.

Don t expect specific help for your lawn problems. They talk like they will treat your lawn for the specific issues you have. You sign up, they spray the same thing everyone else gets and sometimes include your flower pots. The only reason I wrote a review is because when I called to cancel my service they just said ok . I said, you don t want to hear why I am cancelling? They said that it s common for people to cancel or start and stop their service. It s very disappointing and frustrating. I didn t expect that from a locally owned company.

Have used Lawn Doctor for several years. They are quick to respond to call backs should certain shrub treatment not be effective or needs another visit. They give excellent advice on lawn and shrub care.

I had a treatment scheduled, technician calls the day before to confirm his arrival. Shows up next day but doesn t treat my lawn because he states he needed approval. How many conversations does it take to confirm a visit with an existing customer of 2+ years. Never showed up again after that. Totally disorganized and could care less about the customer.

Between mole crickets and last Decembers hard freeze, my lawn was virtually dead. Turned to Lawn Doctor for help and by June, my lawn never looked so good.

Due to a miscommunication, I was unaware that my wife gave LawnDoctor permission to be on our property and evaluate the lawn. I left a VERY angry review because we have had some security issues, and I was NOT happy that they were walking around our property without permission. Well I WAS WRONG and wanted to update the review. This is very late, so I am sorry for that as well.

The technician actually applies the fertilizer/weed control to every square inch of my lawn, and not just a little in one place before jumping in his truck to leave like the large national service I had before. An employee recently came to provide a service. At the end of the job he told me to pay with a check and to make it out to him. I called the company and was told by the receptionist , oh that s the owner s son, it s all right to make the check out to him.

I used Lawn Doctor to aerate my lawn and was not disappointed. Prior to aeration Lawn Doctor inspected my property to determine square footage as well as what other professional service could be provided. Aeration was professionally done at a reasonable price point. Once completed I saw improvements within a week in my lawn. Lawn Doctor is my go to company for advice, service and an excellent green lawn.

They did an organic top dressing with good results.

They are responsive when called, the young man who performed the work was pleasant, industrious, and completed the aeration with care!

The company I had treating my lawn before the Lawn Doctor failed to control the weeds, grub worms,, and mole crickets. They were unreliable and missed treating my lawn for several months. My lawn looked horrible. Thats when I called Lawn Doctor. They responded immediately and took care of my problems. My lawn is now the best looking in my neighborhood. The lawn Doctor representative was picked up on a email ad. After many years of neglect by my inexperience, my beautiful plants and bushes faded to an almost total loss. When the Lawn Doctor rep described the service that he would recommend to recover the entire property, I thought I would give it a try. It didnt take long to see the results to all of our plants and bushes to go with the agents detailed care suggestions for me to see a total recovery and return to almost new landscape. Its one of the events in our lives that a simple response to an e-mail ad that changed our propertys landscape appearance. The recommendations for my own responsibilities has paid off.

After 6 years, the owner of this business cancelled our contract. I had been unhappy with our front yard (unsightly bald patches) for some time. I had been diligent in following their instructions to no avail. He graciously offered to continue to treat our lawn at n/c for May- July to see if he could improve the condition - also to no avail. I had scheduled an on-site inspection with him well in advance and agreed to a one-hour arrival window. He called at the outside of that window to tell me he was going to be late - one hour late which probably meant he hadn t even begun his journey to HH. This in spite of knowing we had limited time to see him to try and solve the problem. Don t believe this is how a good client should be treated. Will take our business elsewhere.

They had a set maintenance schedule which I appreciate and they keep on top of that schedule. With my previous company I had multiple visits a month and never knew what work they were doing, billing multiple times a month and not calling ahead. Service people are very professional and when they come will engage you in conversation about your property. They leave notes regarding what substances they treated your property with, safety timetable for pets, watering instructions, etc. If you have any questions you can call the office and they get back to you very quickly with a workable response. Also, if you prepay for the year they give you a nice discount. I think my lawn looks better using their services.

Please do yourself a favor and do not let these people touch your lawn. Service is horrible. They do not come when scheduled. They do not answer emails and the tech Todd is rude. I asked for another tech and they did send a new one but then, Todd was back. My lawn became worse with these people.

Dissatisfied!!!! I have called this company on multiple occasions to come out and just give me an estimate and I was assured almost two weeks ago someone would come out and no one has. I then called again and was told someone would come and still a no show. I have yet to experience if they are any good at what they do and I m sure they are, but if I am having this kind of service from the start...leaves me to wonder. I am a person of 2nd and 3rd chances and I truly hope this is rectified. ASAP!!! PLEASE SOMEONE COME TO MY HOUSE AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE!!!

Lawn Doctor has been providing great service for the last few years. They are an efficiently run business and I recommend them.

They treated for mosquitoes last year and we noticed a difference afterwards so we continued getting treatments this summer and are very pleased with the results! Also found the folks providing the treatment and handling billing to be professional and courteous.

This review is being updated. First I need to issue a public apology to Lawn Doctor of Savannah. It was not until just recently that my wife and I discussed their lawn services and the fact that they did contact my wife and received permission to evaluate the lawn. So again, I publicly apologize for the previous review. I was lacking critical information and my response was less than polite. We have not yet made use of their services, but expect to this fall.

Service is timely and good. Office is quick to handle any issues. I had one issue with the airation tech and got an immediate response from the main office when I contacted them. I have used them for several years and continue to use them. I guess that is the best reccommendation.

Our lawn was a mess when we first contracted with Lawn Doctor of Savannah in August of 2019 with severe turf damage from moles. Also, our regular lawn maintenance contractor in Bluffton was not licensed to apply pest control insecticide or fertilizers. By mid-summer of 2020 we had the nicest looking lawn on the block thanks to Lawn Doctor. I wouldnt have thought it possible. I am extremely pleased with Lawn Doctor of Savannah/Beaufort County, both in terms of the quality of results and the ease of working with the company. I do not hesitate to recommend them unequivocally.

I have been using Lawn Doctor for over ten years and have been very satisfied with their service. They are responsive to any questions that I have. Last year I was having some issues and when brought to their attention they came out to inspect and it was determined to be my fault in not watering long enough. I requested a call ahead prior to service alerting me and I know when and what the application will be. If I have questions or concerns they are open and there to help. If satisfaction is not achieved they respond again with a phone call. Our representative, Connie is the greatest.

I have been using their services now for several years and have no issues with the condition of our lawn. They will make extra visits and treatments outside of your plan but you have to call when you suspect an issue. Your yard can be as good or better than your neighbors with some effort.

Although we re already paying for Summit services on the north side of Sun City, it s good to know these pros at Lawn Doctor can provide expertise advice and quick solutions to specific problems. The company reputation is strong and we ll call them again in the future. I m one of the few not dissatisfied with Summit, but sometimes you need more than the standard commercial contract services. This is a good option.

Lawn Doctor keeps my zoysia lawn -- which I consider an investment -- looking fabulous. They know exactly what treatments are needed for each stage of the growing season. Not only the products employed, but also the service people who actually deliver the service. To wit, I very much enjoy listening to the men completing the work as they explain what they are doing and the rationale for the applications. They are succinct and quite knowledgeable with their answers as well as very proud of their efforts. I, too, am extremely proud of their diligence. Another kudo goes to Connie in the man office; she, too, was most knowledgeable and very, very convincing in her soft gentle manner--an excellent resource. As a retired School Principal, Lawn Doctor receives a Report Grade of A+ and is enrolled in the Honor Society.

A great business deal always starts from the fist call you make. Connie is wonderful. I knew nothing about proper lawn care and Connie knew how to explain everything to me. There was no hard sales pitch, like others I d called for estimates. My lawn looks great and the cost was lower than other companies.

Technicians park truck on busy road, should pull off the road onto the tree lawn natural area. Have asked that they be more carful with long hoses as they sometimes damage small flowers/plants at corners.

I engaged Lawn Doctor approximately six months ago to help beautify and improve our lawn. The sales person was very eloquent and persuasive as she described the service, including information about the steps and products which would be utilized to achieve the desired result. Unfortunately, the team at Lawn Doctor talks a much better game than they actually play. The problem started after the first application. I noticed that the lawn was improving inconsistently. I thought that the process must take some time, so I would be patient. I was paying to have both liquid and granular fertilizer applied to the lawn. Considering the inconsistency of the lawn (parts were greening while others were remaining dormant), I thought I would watch the technician apply the products the next time he arrived. Interestingly, it became clear to me just why there were improving, green areas, and there were areas that were just not getting better. When applying the granular material to the lawn in the back of the property, I watched the technician make one pass through the center of the property, and miss the balance of the lawn. I thought, he must have run out of product, so he must be going to the truck to refill. Actually, no. He was done and left. The next visit, on 06/08/20, he again missed covering significant portions of the lawn with the granular portion of the treatment. In addition, he spilled fertilizer on an area in our front yard (approximately 3x3). I noted the problem the next day - that part of the grass is now dead. There is a space, about the size of two trash can lids, in the front yard, where all of the grass is dead - and there is a significant amount of fertilizer granules packed into the soil there. I have been working for months to make this lawn look nice, and now have to repair what will surely be another bare spot. Needless to say, I am unhappy about the carelessness of the technician assigned to our lawn. That was it for me. I sent the company a comment in response to their emailed invoice, and called their office to say that we no longer wish for them to provide service to us.

I used Lawn Doctor for 3 years. Although they treated my grass during the winter, this spring my grass did not comeback in several areas. They claimed it was winter kill. They offered no treatment plan and when I called the technician out, his recommendation was to get a different type of grass. I have been in my home over 20 years and never experienced this condition. If you value your lawn do not use this company.
