Had a horrible experience with TruGreen. Retained the company after noticing some brown spots. Technicians came out and sprayed something but the problem grew by the day. Within four weeks the lawn was completely destroyed. You cant reach someone at the local office, only a call center. Messages remained unanswered for days. Canceled the service and now receive 3 calls a day from the call center asking why I canceled. Terrible service, terrible communication.

Its the strangest thing - I have never seen TruGreen do a lawn application. The only tip-off is the little card flag they leave on a post near the front of the yard and a recipt tucked into the front door hanger. Its even crazier because I work from home near a window; too focused, I guess. All I know is our yard looks like the front of a Hidden Valley ranch bottle surrounded by adjacent lawns with dandelions, clover, and crabgrass. Wildlife - deer, rabbits, birds, and native plants and shrubs - are living proof that nature is diverse and comingle like they do in Bambi. So yeah, it works! Erica does a great job every time she does an application, and although I get email notifications of when shes coming or going, I have never met her. Still, I appreciate the work she does all the same.

I am a new customer. I had one treatment and let TruGreen know my grass did not look much better after 3 weeks. TruGreen stood by their promise and sent a tech to reapply their product at no charge. I like a company that keeps their word!!

For a lawn that gets treated regularly and watered appropriately, it has many weeds, both broad-leaf and bladed. I was with another company before, and TG bought them out a few years ago. It has seemingly gotten worse in the number of years I have been with TG. You would think that over time you would see a marked improvement.

I appreciate the fact that he listened to my explanation of my experiences with my prior service provider as well as the issues I was having. He made decisions on product to apply based on what I shared, and I thought that was great. I m looking forward to seeing improvement in the quality and growth of my lawn with TruGreen. A little later today, we also had our first TruGreen Shrubs & Trees treatment. It was great to meet Sie, who answered all my questions and provided great advice, along with a detailed explanation about the treatment applied, and suggestions about what I need to do to get the best growth and health for our plants. Pest control is scheduled next week. My wife and I are excited to see what this new partnership yields for our yards. Today, I had my last TruGreen first treatment, pest control service provided by Don. Like the other technicians, Don was friendly, professional and freely shared his expertise after listening to my pest history at my home. TruGreen is a little pricier than other providers, and the final proof will be the pudding - how all the treatments perform - but I m truly pleased with the performance of all the service techs so far.

Just started TruGreen in late June 2023. My Bermuda grass lawn was in a frightful state due to drought conditions and limited water restrictions. Weeds of several kind, including torpedo grass were rampant. It may take a year or longer to rejuvenate.

Excellent customer communications with every visit and in between. Some concerns about the breadth of weed control and palm fertilization have been brought to their attention.

I recently replaced my lawn. I was self-maintaining it it was looking pretty good. I decided to have TruGreen maintain the fertilization my lawn. By the second application it turned brown and look like it was dying. They claim theyre going to take care of it. To find out I do have Bahia grass and they were treating it like Saint Augustine.

My questions about my lawn were answered. We will see if the treatment can restore my lawn.

Wayne has been servicing our lawn the past few years now. The domination of Duane and Trugreen has contributed to a healthier lawn. Since we first purchased the property back in 2019, the lawn was a disaster. Adding an irrigation system along with true brain had restored our Green landscape.

Tru Green did a great job on my yard. When I moved in my new house. The yard was full of weeds. I was going to resod the front and back. But Tru Green said to let them take over the care of the yards. I did, and in 2 months all the weeds were gone and I had grass growing back. Im so happy with the job they did for me. Can t attest to their actual lawn care, but one of their local reps is relentless and not only calls repeatedly, but we also live in a non soliciting gated community and he showed up to our house unannounced, unwelcomed and not on our gate list. Because of this behavior, we went with a competitor of TruGreen. I get making a sale, but don t be a sleazy salesperson about it.

UPDATE: TruGreen Corporate called, was very pleasant, and resolved this issue. Avoid this company at all costs. Paid in full for a full year of service. Never renewed. Received a letter from collections agency for $71.95. Completely invalid. Had to jump through hoops to get it removed from credit report when Trugreen could not validate the debt.

True Green has been maintaining our lawn for over twenty years. This is one monthly bill I am more than happy to pay. Their service is very courteous and the serviceman are always giving us good advice on how to maintain a good looking lawn.

I have a No Soliciting sign on my house and yet the tru green boy rings my door bell. I will never purchase a service from this company because they solicit door to door and bother me while I am working. Read the sign, dont ring my bell.

He came to complete aeration of my lawn. He was told to only do the front, back and ONE side. Why only ONE side?? He ended up doing the right side too. But please make sure you ALWAYS do all 4 sides!

Tru Green did not deliver on their promise to provide 12 months of lawn care service for paying for a full year up front.

I prepaid trugreen over $1300 for one year of service in July of 2022. Large parts of my yard are brown as of May 2023. Trugreen just billed me for April services even though I had prepaid for one year. Have reached out to customer service and they were confused as to why I was billed when I had paid for a full years service. I let slide when they didnt show for the appointment the first month but thid is completely unethical business practices.

Killed my grass. We had a lush green lawn until Trugreen came on May 9 and killed it. You can literally see where they drove the spreader. No communication ever. I called the number to report the issue and got a call center. I requested a manager come look at my lawn, was told it takes 3 business days, even though my grass is dying by the minute. Called back today because I havent heard back and was told they didnt have a record of my call, so the 3 business days starts over. Theres no direct line to a local office. I cant recommend them less, so bad.

We use their mosquito control services and they do a very thorough job and take the time to make sure we are happy with their service. We will certainly use them in the future for all our lawn care needs.

A little pricey but they guarantee their products and the progression of your lawn. I am pretty happy with with the way my lawn is turning out.

So disappointed, honestly embarrassed. We were paying them yearly, then monthly. Grass dying in areas etc. Always was notified we were unable to treat your lawn then magically a week or two later we had a notice it was treated, but no tag on lawn or door. Checked the cameras on the days they said it was serviced...they never came. I paid the last bill, even though they never came. Bought fertilizer myself and grass is now significantly greener in two weeks time.

When a customer is told over the phone that your premium package will get you a Tru Green lawn, this is NOT the case. Be aware of this.

Tru Green staff Curtis and Rodney always polite and professional. Our yard always looks good and people notice and comment on how good it looks.We always receive texts prior to their arrival. Could not be happier with this service.

They overcharge you the very first visit then when you tell them that you re canceling and you have them, take you off their list. They still call you month after month to try and get your service. Seriously the company is harassing and annoying.

They came on time and notified me prior to visit. However, despite two courtesy treatments, my lawn still has yellowing. I even applied a bag of Scott s for nitrogen. They are just like all others I have tried. Just so-so and applicators are not very knowledgeable.

Been using True Green for years at two different residences. Lawn looks great, weed free. Rodney, my specialist is easy to work with and has keeps me informed of potential problems etc.

Do not waist your money! We spent around $1000. For nothing, our lawn looks worse then when we started with them. Anytime we called to complain or inquire what was going on, it took days till they contacted us back. Each time they came out they blamed it on the technician who did the treatment the month before or they try to put the blame onto you, that somehow we werent watering enough because of the drought. We told them we have reclaimed water and had been watering as instructed and once again they deflected to something else. They never take responsibility or correct the problem. Will never use or recommend them.

Technicians are good and always notify when they are coming, as well as telling what they treated and why.

I called the week of 12/11 to have someone to take a look at my grass with disease. I woke up and checked my email at 7:40 am this morning 12/18. An email said Brian W completed the service. He didnt even ring my doorbell when he arrived. Is this TruGreens protocol - just stop by as quickly as possible without truly understanding the issue? The report said he sprayed for weed. My lawn has disease which caused the discoloring. This is so disappointing because I waited for a whole week for someone to come and didnt accomplish anything. Even worse, the report makes it looked like I wasnt home which is wrong. Ive been home the entire morning because Brian W came before 7 am. This is not the first time I am not happy with TruGreen service. The service for lawn and tree treatment total almost a thousand dollars for the entire year, and I dont think I get what I pay for.

I told Alan that the nitrogen put down on the last visit appeared to burn some of our grass. Alan shifted gears and added potassium not nitrogen on this visit which should promote better growth and weed killing capacity. I appreciate his flexibility to adapt to the situation
