I have had the pleasure to have met and worked with Lee Alderman for 15 years and 2 homes. Both homes received the repeated comment "nicest landscaping in the development". Lee is truly an artist who approaches every design individually. Unlike many landscapers he envisions how the design will look when mature. Maintained properly your home will never look obscured or overgrown.

Lee Alderman’s SilverMoon Landscapes is a treasure. It seems that most landscape designers in Sarasota and Manatee counties are not native Floridians. Lee and his family, on the other hand, are multi-generational natives. He brings Florida Natural landscape designs to life. We bought our Florida home 13 years ago. 10 years ago we started working with Lee to renew the landscaping. Lee’s vision has turned our landscaping into a Florida Natural oasis. The series of projects we have done with Lee Alderman and his SilverMoon team have each enhanced our home and all have met or beat our budgets. Silver Moon Landscapes has always exceeded our expectations.

I met Lee earlier this year, and was looking for a landscaper for our seasonal home in Sarasota. The results were incredible. He transformed our "Plain Jane" front yard yard into a tropical paradise. Lee is a third generation Horticulturalist and it is amazing to watch his mind work. You can see his eyes light up as he envisions his work. The whole design is symbiotic, and the results are phenomenal. He listened very carefully to our ideas, and transform the yard using a variety of plant life into a collage of pieces that were way beyond our dreams. His son, Tal, works with him, and it is nice to see that someday Tal will take over at some point. I have dealt with many, many people in my life, but Lee is one of those people who is the real deal. My wife and I became friends with he and his lovely wife, and things like that do not happen all the time. It is because his magnetic personality dovetails into a fully developed relationship. When we return this January, we will begin with the back yard as well. I know that he has that portion already designed in his head, and we will enjoy wacthing the backyard become a "tropical getaway" as did the front. Simply said, he is the best of the best!

Silvermoon has designed, installed and maintained the landscape for 2 office buildings and 5 residences for us. They are all beautiful and easy to maintaine. Lee is very careful to choose plant materials that need little maintenance over the years. We are very happy with the results.

My husband and I worked with Lee at Silvermoon for two seasons and could not have been happier. Our place was transformed from a typical cottage surrounded by sad-looking “grass” to a cooler, shady and verdant mix of canopy palms, shrubs and ground cover appropriate for the Florida climate. A breeze materialized from nowhere. Within weeks we awoke to birdsong where there had been none before. At the start, Lee wanted my input and opinions. I was not easy! I knew how we wished our place to feel: tropical and lush, but was unable to give guidance about specific plants. Lee mapped out our property and made us an extraordinary color coded plan. Lee and his crew exceeded expectation in that and every other way. He is careful about budget and offers good advice and counsel. His crew is terrific. Work is done neatly and in a timely fashion. We could not recommend Silvermoon more highly. We’ve had quite a few houses over the years and have done many landscaping projects. Our Sarasota garden was the best! Lee Alderman is a true artist and a conscientious businessman.

First class experience; we chatted with Lee, who completed the design and build of the landscape with our input. And Wow, were we beyond satisfied; people still stop by a year later and ask who did our work! He really has an eye for detail and design. Silvermoon's team was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.
