Richard, the delivery associate, is something special in a really good way. He went above and beyond. Right on time with the scheduled delivery...thats rare these days. Also, you dont realize how heavy a roll of turf can be. He was kind enough help me wrestle those rolls into place so I could start our project. He shared some tips with me and was very polite. I first went to a turf competitor and their computer was done and were not able to accept turf orders. The system had been down for a week and they didn t know when it would be back up. I left the store and called Kyra at Purchase Green. She helped me select a product for my pet area over the phone and had the order ready for pickup same day. My wife Dora and I drove down to Santa Rosa to go look at two different turf businesses. The first one we went to was Purchase Green We were met by Jamie who was with another customer so he turned us over to Karla. What a lovely young lady. She was so sweet and patient with us because we had lots of question. Karla was extremely knowledgeable about all of the different turfs. She answered all of our questions and had answers immediately. We were so happy with the treatment we got from Karla that we decided to buy our turf from Karla and we didnt ever go look at the other turf business. We requested our turf to be delivered to Ukiah. Karla set up the day and time. I received a call from Richard 20 minutes before he was to arrive in Ukiah. He arrived at our house right on time. Richard was so very polite and personable. Absolutely one of best companies with which I have done business. They were friendly, professional, and extremely hard workers. Work began when scheduled except for few days delay due to rain and Kim, the wonderful phone person always called and always kept me informed of everything. Steve, the foreman, and the main worker, Enrique, were incredible and available to me every step of the way to make sure everything was done completely, 100%, to my satisfaction. I picked one of the best grasses and best sand so that it would last a long time and look really beautiful and because I have dogs [who ,btw, are thrilled with the new lawn]. My yard looks just beauitiful , even better than I had hoped or expected. The work done on the small retaining walls [which was necessary to level my sloped yard] cdnt have been done better by Michael Angelo---total piece of artwork. It is so nice to be so pleased with work done on ones home--ive had bad experiences in the past on other construction things and so happy that my yard turned out so perfect from this great company.

I was buying materials to do my own turf installation on my new covered garden and the staff was super helpful and friendly. They gave me their recommendations and explained everything in detail. They also told me what to do and how so that I could do everything on my own. Would highly recommend these guys!

If I could give them negative stars I would. Where do I start?? From not showing up to quote appointments, delivering damaged goods, to leaving stuff off our order, to the grass coming cut incorrectly and not the right size. I mean the list of issues from this company is so long, I have lost count because every day there seemed to be something that went wrong. Even more frustrating, they never call you back or answer the phone. I had to leave 4 voicemails for my husband to call and get them on the line. Its like they screen calls they dont want to deal with. Furthermore, after having to pay two days worth of work for nothing to be done (because of there lack of materials delivered) I asked to speak with the owner/manager. The women transferred us to a guy named JT who is their assistant sales rep. He was combative, non apologetic and offered zero empathy for our extremely frustrating situation (after spending over $8,000 with them). THERE WAS NOT ONE SORRY. I couldnt believe, customer service, just apologize for your mistake. We are all human. Nope. Instead he fought us on EVERY. SINGLE. ISSUE. And then not to mention he asked if WE could have people at our house to reload the incorrect grass because his employees couldnt do it. I mean what kind of company does not provide drivers the right tools and trucks to move their main product. Grass. What a joke. I honestly can say this has been the worst customer experience I have ever had and we have remodeled multiple homes and dealt with a lot of vendors. They need to take a serious look at their business, and customer service.

Maybe it s covid but I agree with the last review (3 months prior to mine). An absolutely awful experience and do not recommend since they haven t tried to resolve the issue after 2 months I am now writing this. We have a small yard and wanted a rectangle 12x22 of turf where there also was an existing drain-but a very straight forward project. They came out and gave estimate we agreed. Day of project they did not show up until 5pm to say they ll have to start tomorrow-next day they came late and ran out of material and couldn t go get more. So my tiny project took 3 days but that s not why I m writing this. It rained hard. The backyard started flooding why did it flood you ask? Well they covered my existing drain with an impermeable plastic tarp that was cut with what seemed to be their teeth. My husband was peeling back layers in the pouring rain to discover this bs. We called them, you know it s a great learning opportunity and under warrantee for 5 years and they came out to punch holes in the same dang plastic tarp that we showed them-in other words they didn t bring anything with them OR enough of the materials and said they d come back and THAT was 2 months ago - we ve left vm and still there s crickets sorry guys you dropped the ball with us-poor planning and execution and just bad customer business.

Excellent customer service from my initial email request for information,to the showroom for samples,and to a quality installation.I replaced 15 year old matted turf with a product that looks like beautiful thick real lawn.Purchase Green is truly professional company,and I would use them again.

Simmonds & Associates used Purchase Green for an installation in Novato, CA. They told us they could start in 3 weeks, they were actually able to start in one week. The job took 2 days and was well done. They were inexperienced at dealing with low voltage lighting within the turf area, but responded immediately to a callback to rectify their mistake, and fixed the problem very well.

I love my new back yard! Workers were here when expected, it took one day for complete installation, all my questions were answered. The quality of material is good. looks like real grass. I would have given 5 stars but there was some spillage of glue on a few of the pavers next to the grass border. I am promised they will come to remove the glue soon.
