True North Landscapes in Santa Rosa

Rude drivers in massive vehicles , they never look where they’re going. They blow through a culdesac chronically near where I have to park to work and they’re incredibly unsafe, not to mention the absolute hypocrisy of them when their older male Forman or manager type staff are outside and I’ve driven past feathering first gear going under 5 mph and they’ve attempted to yell at me multiple times, I can’t even go slower than I go and they don’t own the parking lot.

One of their drivers has extreme road rage.

Sending workers to do leaf blowing at 3:30am in a residential neighborhood is not only slave labor but against city and county noise ordinances. Yup, this is after I asked them nicely multiple times to adhere to appropriate hours of operation. A few weeks ago I had to call the cops when we had the 3:30am leaf blower wake up call. Guess we will have to report them again and keep calling the cops. True North has demonstrated they have no respect for people who live in the community so how can they possibly care about customers, their employees, or their reputation.

In October of 2023 True North was tasked with major tree work at Solar Park Condos in Cloverdale CA. The pruning that was done was completely opposite of what was expected from such a large established company. One tree in particular in a private residence was cut so hard on one side it had to be professionally repaired by another company to ensure even regrowth. True North also left debris in multiple units and dead pruned branches in other trees that were worked on. This is a very unfortunate circumstance for the Complex, and was not handled well. As a 20 year industry professional, and established Cloverdale community member I can not recommend this company.

These guys are clueless and lazy. They trim bushes and then instead of picking it up they just blow it under the Bushes. Mowing grass in the rain...

In October 2021, the entire bay area experienced a rainstorm so powerful, they called it a "bomb cyclone." At the peak of the storm, I received a call from our new tenant. Water was accumulating in the landscaping and threatening to spill over into our brand new building. Lucky for us, Doug headed over at 5pm on a Sunday night. In the pouring rain, he was able to find and unclog a key drain. Within minutes, the water receded. The tenant was very thankful, which encouraged me to write this review. I guess you never know who can rely on until an emergency comes along.
