Laurie Krebs in Santa Fe

Terrible, total amateur! I only called her because other firms had such a long wait time for appointments. BIG MISTAKE! Although she showed up in a few days, she did a little bit of work then had to come back in a few days. This cycle repeated a number of times during which she completely tore up my existing valve system and my system was still not working. Meanwhile I paid over $500 for "parts". After several weeks of this I finally told her not come back and paid Just Sprinklers over $3,000 to fix her mistakes. During all this time she indicated she had other staff working with her by I never saw anyone else. She totally does not know what she is doing. It seems like she saw a few YouTube videos and thought she could do that. Maybe she could handle something simple but anything moderately complex, pay extra and get a real professional rather than a "do it yourselfer" amateur.

First of all, I have never written a review like this before, and I almost didnt do it, but if i can save someone the headaches we dealt with, its worth it. We had Laurie install a new irrigation system about two years ago. First of all, she was incredibly unprofessional, constantly saying she'd show up on a certain day and time and not show up. No phone call or text to let us know why, or an attempt to schedule a new time. This happened regularly for almost two years. I had to regularly contact her when she didn't show up. The work was terrible. First, she did not remove all the old hoses and drip lines. She did not bury the new hoses, there are exposed hoses everywhere and it looks terrible. She kept complaining that our dogs would chew lines, but I kept thinking, well that's because you're not burying anything. We had a different landscape company come out to look at it and he was shocked at how bad it was. The box she installed should be buried so it's at ground level with the hoses going straight into it, but hers is up high and a tripping hazard. Because all the hoses are exposed to the elements, there are leaks in some areas already, and no its not from our dogs. It took 2 years and lots of money and at the end, I was just glad it was over. It has lasted about a year and now we are paying a new company even more than we paid her to do the job right this time. He basically has to do the whole thing over again. Avoid this business. There are way better and more professional options out there.
