Desert Rose Landscape & Maintenance in Santa Fe

Desert Rose and Phil Madrid were recommended to us by a neighbor, and we could not be more pleased. Our yard had begun to get away from us, and we needed some help. The crew comes regularly once a month (twice if needed), and the men are polite, hardworking, and know what they are doing. I hired this company for monthly maintenance last August. I have paid them promptly and I thought, been a good customer. The other day, right after they cashed my check for this month's service, they emailed me telling me that they were ending my contract to take on a bigger customer. I was shocked that I didn't even get a call from the owner as I had always felt that I communicated well with him.

I think it was about 2008 that I was tasked with finding a new landscape maintenance company to maintain our 9-unit compound. I chose Desert Rose. It was a good move. Desert Rose still maintains that compound today and they now also do the same for the home we bought 4 years ago when we left that compound. Good people, quality work, and Phil (owner) will always listen and respond.

What a wonderful experience with this company! Phil was amazing. He walked the property with us, listened to us, and developed a landscaping plan that was perfect! When I asked for a bench with a curve, he found the perfect one! We appreciated that he kept in communication about the progress and when he had questions, he checked in with us. His crew was equally wonderful. The job was even completed ahead of schedule. We are so happy with our new landscaping. We highly recommend this company.

We'd interviewed multiple landscapers and Phil was by far the most honest, creative & best we'd encountered. After 6 weeks of having Desert Rose's crew here, always accompanied by Phil, the owner, our yard went through the most amazing transformation, front to back! The crew was so hard working, and so kind & pleasant to have around. Phil was amazing!
