We recently had them transform our front and back yard, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the very beginning, Greg and his team were a pleasure to work with. Greg took the time to listen to our vision and then used his expertise to create a design that exceeded our expectations. He had some truly creative ideas that we incorporated, and he was always open to our feedback. The crew at Emerald Landscaping was nothing short of amazing. They were professional, courteous, and always willing to answer any questions we had. They worked diligently and cleaned up each day, leaving our property spotless. What impressed us most was their meticulous attention to detail. The results are truly stunning. Greg and his team widened our driveway, expertly laid pavers and artificial lawn, and planted a variety of beautiful plants and trees and it's almost unrecognizable from just a few weeks ago. We used Emerald City Landscaping to redo our backyard which included a sports court, pergola, concrete patio, seat wall, lighting, water feature, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, planting, and shade structures. Greg and his team were such a pleasure to work with. Timely, reasonable, problem solvers, and took great care in their excellent work. Truly professional and good people. Greg and his team at Emerald City Landscaping completely transformed our backyard into our perfect oasis! We worked through Yardzen to help concept our design and Greg's team was not only able to bring the concept to life but also offer alternative suggestions based on experience. I was a little hesitant at first to do our yard, but after meeting Greg, his team, and their fair prices we decided to take the leap and do it! And am I so happy that we did! We cannot spend enough time out there! Our space went from never being used to the perfect addition to our living space that I now want to spend all my time outside. I highly suggest Emerald City Landscaping- they were always responsive, professional, and helped us think through our options. We will certainly use them again for any landscaping needs.
We are really happy with our experience working with Greg and his team! Our side yard was a nightmare to the point I didn’t even want to walk there or look at it cause it was such an eyesore. We barely used it cause it was just a sloppy sandpit. Greg’s team did an amazing job transforming our yard to a beautiful area all our family enjoys! They showed up on time, were easy to communicate with, cleaned up after themselves, checked with us re any possible design changes and were eager to share their opinion and experience. I would definitely work with them again and already recommended their service to our friends. I will add photos of our yard now and before all the work.
We were extremely happy with the job that Greg and his guys did for us! He took our YardZen.com design and implemented it within two weeks. He was attentive ,responsive , easy to work with and all his guys were very professional too! We would highly recommend him to anyone, and will use him again whenever we need additional attention to our yards!
We hired Greg and his team to completely landscape our front and back yard. They always showed up on time and worked all day! They did an amazing job on our yard, from leveling, putting weed cloth down, planting a lot of plants, irrigation and all the landscape lighting. We are so happy with our yard and their work! Greg and his team just finished the landscaping of our entire lot and we couldn't be happier! They took our 50 year old overgrown yard and transformed it into something beautiful. Our job included completely new front landscaping, DG pathways, gravel, fencing, deck stairs, backyard pavers, drainage, plants, irrigation, and lighting. Greg and his team lead were extremely reliable and showed up every day they were scheduled. I appreciated that they asked me questions and we worked through some design changes together. They were able to understand our design decisions and work with us to achieve exactly what we were expecting. Working with Greg and his team was a dream, something we don't take for granted in this current climate!
We had a great experience with Greg and his team. Our project included all new landscaping in our front and beck yard, pergola, veggie beds and fence repair and paint. We have had Emerald City for three projects over two years around the outside of our house. First we had them design and install steps near our sloped driveway, a small stone patio at the front of the house, and replacing grass and some thirsty landscaping with drought tolerant plants and a drip irrigation system tied into our existing sprinkler system. EC worked with the city to get our turf replacement reimbursement too. After that, Emerald City replaced a crumbling old concrete side walkway and wooden landing. Now our most recent project (pictured) was creating a back patio and deck landings in our small HOA space. In each case, EC has worked to create usable outdoor space that we did not previously have. All projects have similar flagstone with wood surrounds. The work crews have been very professional, clean, courteous to our neighbors, and attentive to our design concerns. They have worked with us to make small changes to the designs we came up with that ended up making a big positive impact on the finished results. We are very happy to have worked with Emerald City to get our small outdoor spaces into beautiful shape. I will certainly be contacting Emerald City for subsequent landscape design needs (after all, were already repeat customers).
I have worked with many different contractors over the years, and Greg is hands down a level above the rest. He is honest, transparent, on time and follows through on what he says he is going to do, when he says hes going to do it. Between him and his foreman Isael, they transformed our yard into a space that our family loves in a timeframe that was super reasonable and at a fair price. We had a very specific vision for our yard, and Greg was extremely receptive to our requests and made that vision a reality. The team installed turf, trees, stepstone pathways, a paver patio and walkway, garden lighting, fencing and a magnificent 16 x 25 pergola. I cant say enough good things about Greg and his team, would recommend them to everybody and hell be the first one I call for any future landscaping needs.
Fast, efficient and perfect. Emerald did my side yard, based on plans from Yardzen, and they did it fast, effieint(ly) and perfect. I can t give a better recommendation. Choose them for your project. Did I mention fast? They were fast!

Greg at Emerald City was great with communication, showed up when he said he would be there (which seems to be rare with contractors nowadays), and did amazing work. We are extremely happy with how our backyard turned out, and he and his team were able to knock out the work in a very timely fashion. Highly recommend!

Terrible customer service. I called them to ask for help with understanding a water issue at the property. They werent able to diagnose it, and suggested maybe a French drain. I asked for a quote on the drain, and some clean up, which had become more urgent. I emailed them back immediately and said yes to the clean up, but that I needed to wait on the drain for a bit. I didnt hear anything for three days. When G finally called me back here was angry that he would just be pulling weeds. He didnt think about the urgency, or longer term work, was just rude to me.
Greg helped me by putting together an irrigation system for 5600 sq ft of lawn at a price that was considerably less than other landscape companies. He squeezed me in on short notice and his irrigation tech, Caesar, is top notch. He got the system set in two days and when we ran into an issue with some solenoids, Greg personally drove an extra hour and a half out of his way to pick up the needed parts to keep the sod installation on schedule. I would definitely use them again.
We had a wonderful and smooth experience with Greg and his team last summer. We had an array of things we wanted to get done for our front and backyard: 20+ new shrubs, new fence, pavers, turf, pergola, and more. Considering it was in the middle of COVID during the summer when everyone was doing things to their homes, Greg was able to fit us into his schedule and even work with us when we had last minutes changes & requests. His team was also very professional and on time, while being very careful and respectful as they came and left each day. We also had some shrubs that had some problems in its new environment, but Greg worked with us until we were completely happy. Highly recommend Greg and we look forward to coming back for future projects!

Greg has done landscaping for our complex and for the entryway on my individual unit. He has great taste/ideas for design. He is also always prompt and readily available when I call or text with questions. On top of everything else, Greg is priced fairly and very pleasant to deal with.
