I asked Lindsey at Silver Leaf to rebuild a granite column fountain that was at risk of tipping over. He and Taylor designed a perfect solution for the problem at a very reasonable cost. Silver Leaf was responsive, creative, and prompt. I couldn t ask for better service and highly recommend them!

We located Silver Leaf online. After reviewing their gallery we liked the focus on local plants and hard scape. Lindsey was on time for the interview and promised a design which could be deliver to our HOA. We liked what we saw and hired him to begin as soon as his schedule permitted. He was punctual everyday and did most of the work by himself. The quality was high and he stuck to his quoted budget. There were no delays and he accommodated a couple of change orders, sticking to his estimate for additional items. Every week he submitted a recap of work accomplished and the appropriate invoice. He also outlined his schedule for the following week. He is an experienced and knowledgeable expert. We were 100% satisfied with the project from beginning to end. We recently purchased a new home and a major factor in our decision was that it had the potential for a marvelous backyard. Our new backyard is not huge and everything past our porch was pretty unusable space. We have a young, very active child, and with the pandemic lockdowns getting outside has been so important for us. We hired Lindsey and Silver Leaf Landscapes to do a major overhaul. They added a fire pit and outdoor shower, installed a small pond and raised vegetable gardens, laid a small area of sod, erected slackline posts, and updated our patio. The results are fabulous. Weve gone from one small outdoor area, to feeling like weve added rooms to our home. Since the finish of the project, weve spent a good portion of our time in our yard, playing games, learning about wildlife, and tending our veggies. Lindsey is a pleasure to work with. OK. We had to do a major remodel of our kitchen. We have a corner lot and would be using our yard as a staging area. With this in mind we basically used the drought and those plans to take our VERY OLD landscape down to nothing. We mulched and cardboarded the lawn. We hired Lindsey to redo our yard and I couldnt be happier. He respected our plant philosophy and desires at every turn. It has gone from a necessary but terrible eyesore to this AMAZING space. This included new steps (we are refinishing the porch soon to match) and giving us sitting areas and gardening spaces. I love it, so do my neighbors and passersby. I met the owner, Lindsey, down the street from my home, at his landscaping project for one of my neighbors. I observed the project from start to finish, and saw artistic imagination, attention to detail, accommodation for practical considerations, and personal commitment to complete the project despite extreme heat for much of the time. I engaged Lindsey to landscape my property of almost a half acre, that included not only traditional landscape design and installation, but also an ornamental fountain renovation, fence repair including some new installation, and extensive hardscape. Design reviews were conducted in my kitchen at three levels of detail, considerations from my daughter were incorporated into the plans, and then the design was installed over a 12 week period and completed on time. Follow-up visits were made on a weekly basis for several weeks to assess plant health, adjust sprinkler settings as the plants took root, and instruct the maintenance gardener on proper care. Monthly visits are now taking place for minor watering adjustments and requests for small changes. The major investment for a new landscape should be backed by the highest personal recommendation. The project for us was very large and complete. Just under 3/4 of a acre. Complete planting, water and decorative rock covering. Very extensive project that was managed to a T. He listen to us and built the finished project to our expectations and more. Very good quality work.

Lindsey Zero of Silver Leaf Landscapes is a total professional in every aspect of the services he provides. The goal of our backyard transformation was to make it inviting, reduce water usage, and decrease maintenance. Lindsey s design and implementation more than met these goals. During the design phase Lindsey listened and then developed a plan that incorporated all of our needs. He also proposed alternatives to keep the budget within our constraints. Once the design was approved, Lindsey went to work and did everything with the highest level of thought and skill. For the hardscape, he replaced a buckled paver path and filled gaps in a retaining wall you would never know that path and wall had been repaired. He also installed a slate stone path through the garden, laid stones out-lining new plant beds and built a wooden arbor that serves as an entry point for the garden. He was very knowledgeable and careful in plant selection; paying attention to the shady and sunny sections of the garden as well as insuring year-around flower color. He installed new watering systems for the new plants as well as replacing existing systems. The final touch was lighting focal points in the garden so we can enjoy it at night as well as during the day. Every week throughout the two month process Lindsey provided a report showing progress and expenditures that allowed us to match schedule and costs against the initial design budget totally professional. We would hire him again!
