The guys at Thrive are great. They’ve become my go-to for yard projects. They answer texts and phone calls pretty promptly, their pricing is reasonable, and their workers are very friendly. A few years ago they installed my entire backyard, including gravel, a stunning paver patio, grass, sprinklers, a water feature, and beautiful trees and shrubs. Recently I had them do a cement pad for a hot tub. They got it done in two days and it looks great. Chandler was really good about checking in on the projects and making sure they were done to my satisfaction. They really listen to what YOU want and they don’t try to talk you in to or out of anything. I get so many compliments on my yard! Love Thrive!

One Landscaping Company wanted to charge me 50% more, than the estimate, I received from Thrive! After some initial problems with an inexperienced, inept, and strangely self-confident project manager, Thrive realized that our project was going poorly and provided new personnel. Our new project manager, Jeremy, was excellent. He, Mario, and Jose did a fantastic job on our project though a fair amount of it had to be torn up and re-done. Unlike the first PM, Jeremy was very knowledgeable, courteous, and very pleasant to work with. Instead of issuing commands to his workers, he worked with them most of the time. I highly recommend Thrive Landscape Services for any xeriscaping project. Just be sure to ask for Jeremy and Mario.
Thrive did an AMAZING job on our backyard landscaping project. Chandler, Moises and JR (Alberto) were the perfect people to manage it. They were super responsive and checked in with us regularly. When problems/mistakes did come up (as they will with any project of our size), they handled them immediately to our satisfaction. Our backyard looks fantastic. In a way we were a little sad when the project was over because we felt the Thrive team had become part of our family. We will miss them. I heartily recommend Thrive without reservation.
Thrive was great to work with. They are very responsive and showed up when they said they would and on time. Chandler had to come in half way through our project as a supervisor and was professional, friendly and easy to communicate with.
We had an excellent experience with Chandler and Mario from Thrive and highly recommend them! They were professional, on time, and they worked meticulously to build our toolshed and even built an electric conduit for us. Our lawn (like many in Utah) has a slope to it, and Chandler and Mario did a fabulous job building a level landing with gravel. It was very hard work, with lots and lots of wheel barrels of gravel and never once did they complain. They even let us know when they took a short lunch break, which allowed me some time to run some errands, as well. They were transparent throughout the whole process - I'm so glad we were paired with them!
I first hired Thrive to install two new zones and a drip system. I have been trying to localscape my yard. I got bids from other landscapers and was sad to see that hardly any of them seemed to know what localscapes even was! Thrive did such a good job. I’m converting my landscape in pieces and they made suggestions on what I could do now to make it easier in future. The quality of the work was very good and they did not leave until I was satisfied. I have hired them since then for some sprinkler repair issues. I have been very happy with Thrive and would definitely recommend them!
Chandler and his team took good care of my stream bed project; they were professional and eager to make sure I was happy with the results.
We had Thrivescape put in a section of rock wall and a low block wall in our backyard. We were very happy with the outcome. The company is run very professionally, with project managers and post-project walk-throughs. Everyone was very knowledgeable.

Iwe have subbed and worked on projects around Derek and Thrive for years. They have been great to work with, punctual, hard working, a quality general and sub to work with. We have and will continue to refer them as a great landscape and snow removal choice.
Extensive attention
We had a leak in out water mainline. Thought I would reach out to Thrive to see if this was a service they provided. They do provide this service and were fantastic to work with. They were responsive and took the time to understand the job effort. The quote was reasonable. The workers that did the job were amazing! I can t thank them enough for such a good job!
Chandler and Mario Jr knocked it out of the park on the conversion we had them do on our dog park. They had to excavate and re grade the existing grass and fill, add a drainage system and cover with gravel. Not only did it turn out great but they didn t damage anything in the process and cleaned up when it was completed!
Thrive renovated our two dog parks at my property. Mario and Chandler were amazing to work with and the result turned out great!
Derek s company is one of the very few I have worked with that have come through on everything they said they were going to do. His design and his work are top notch and I would suggest that anyone looking for quality work and for someone who keeps their commitments to use Derek and his team.
We hired them for snow removal for our HOA. They show up with a truck in the morning push it in front of the driveway and leave. You have dig your way out of a 3 foot wide 2+ foot high bank of snow to get to work. Then later they send a couple guys with shovel to sloppily shovel walks and do nothing about the bank of snow in front of your driveway. DO NOT HIRE THEM!
Would not recommend Thrive to anyone. Landscaping services for our community were very poor and their pricing for snow removal was outrageous. We were charged >$3000 for one storm for a short road and 20 small driveways. They charged >$500 in salt alone. Stay away.
Ive worked with the owner for years, and my overall experience with Thrive has been awesome. They are professional and communicate extremely well. Their snow removal service this year has been on point for a very large community we manage. Thanks for all you do!
This company does landscaping for my HOA they ve only mowed my backyard lawn once through mid June, skipped aerating it too. I complained last week and this is the job they left me this week. If I could give zero stars I would.
Generally an excellent experience with the excavation and re-landscaping of our strips around our large corner lot. A very good, professional crew who shared information every step of the way. Excellent quarried rock that satisfied our specific request. Not cheap but we feel we paid for a thorough job. Some of the bid/start process was a little slow but it could have been as much our decision making as their availability.
Thrive Landscaping did a great job on our yard. Nick and his crew were very professional and were quick and thorough. I had two other landscapers ghost me half way through the project. Thrive not only finished what the other landscapers started, they did some additional work for us. They communicated with us throughout the project. Would highly recommend!

My experience is much different than all the 5 star reviews. I contacted them through their website and they did respond promptly, but I missed the call. Returned their call a few hours later and never heard from them again! That was three weeks ago!
Extremely difficult to communicate. No response after multiple calls/messages. Not following the signed contract and schedule-poorly organized.
I live in an HOA community. I had Thrive Landscape Services put in a lot of bushes and plants around the outside of my home and patio. They were very professional, dependable and punctual. I am very pleased with all that Doug and his crew did for me. Everything looks wonderful and I am the envy of my HOA community. I highly recommend Thrive Landscaping!
They went above and beyond my expectations. My yard was even cleaned up from the constant fall leaves! Beautiful and high quality. Great communication, and they are fast. Worth every penny.

We purchased a home with a yard that was not well maintained. The front yard had several patches of Johnson grass, and the lawn in the back yard was dead and sparse. We called Derek to help us out. After a thorough de-thatching and over-seeding of the front and back yard, our lawn looked brand new. The results were amazing and left us with a beautiful yard (see picture). Derek is very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what needed to be done and he and his team were thorough, dependable and got the job done efficiently. We hired Thrive Landscape Services to help us when we put in a basement entrance and needed sprinklers moved. Derek went above and beyond making sure things were ready for concrete to be poured. While he was helping us with that project, we asked him to move a fire pit, lay some sod, clean up our flowerbeds and lay new mulch. This project had many changes and Derek was honest with what things would cost and stuck very close to his original bid. Everything was done timely and looks great! We would highly recommend Thrive Landscape Services.
I have hired landscapers before when I was living in other homes and Thrive by far has been the absolute best. Derek was so responsive it almost felt too good to be true.
