I had Stepping Stone Landscape Design designed a portions of my front and back yards last year with low water usage plants. The designer was able to blend the new plants with the existing ones and the results shown this year was beautiful. Beside recommending a good selections of plants, they also assisted me with plant suppliers, installation tips and promptly response to my questions. Excellent experience! Eric and his team were very responsive. He really took the time to listen to my ideas for the backyard. His computerized renderings of ideas for the yard really helped give detail to the overall plan.

Erik and Stepping Stone Landscape did a complete renovation of our exterior landscaping, driveway, patio and walkways. Erik listened to our ideas and created a design that captured everything we communicated and pulled it together so that it tied in perfectly with our freshly painted house. Roberto, the job foreman, was professional in every aspect of his work and always did his best to minimize the disruption such a project creates for the homeowners and the neighbors. His, and his team s, attention to detail was on display through every aspect of the project and Roberto often fixed things that I would have never noticed. Overall, the work they did to create our new outdoors far exceeded our high expectations, and they did it on schedule and on budget. Erik was also very easy to work with and he communicated with us continually and kept us updated as the job progressed. I recommend them without hesitation and, in fact, have already started to talk with Erik about another project.

Fantastic experience working with Stepping Stone to completely transform our house from the existing turf into the desert landscape we had always wanted. Right off the bat they worked with us to understand exactly what we had in mind, and gave us great insight into what options made sense for our house. I took a landscape class several months ago in April. As a result of the excellent class, I asked for a referral to help with my landscape project. We worked together from the design drawings through the entire project. I believe it looks great. He was so considerate to make sure everything was just as I requested it to be done, including type of plants, color of rocks, placement of paver stones, etc. Erik was also very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. He was prompt in response to my emails and text messages. Furthermore, Erik provided invaluable assistance in dealing with various neighbor and tenant issues. I just wanted to note my appreciation. I would highly recommend him for anyone considering landscape design and yard improvements!

We recently hired Erik at Stepping Stone Landscape Design to redo our backyard. We couldn t be more pleased. We gave Erik an idea of what we wanted and trusted him to choose the plants appropriate for a drought-tolerant landscape. When he presented the plan, I suggested a few different plants. He had no problem incorporating my few suggestions and even went to great lengths to locate a hard-to-find specific tree I hoped to have in my backyard. Part of getting a job done is how well the parties communicate/get-along. Erik quickly grasp my plans, but more importantly, the vision, so we were on track throughout. All were focused on my project. The experience and creativity of Eriks crew was obvious when an obstacle was encountered. Solution were implemented without delay. The crew was conscientious, not a shirker in the lot. I chose to do part of the work myself, and extra hands were available when I needed them. Eric made sure they had all the material when needed so there was no idle time. Small (and large :o ) details were quickly corrected. My past experience with contractors had left me wary about my tools. With Stepping Stone, this experience was exceptional, particularly in the respect that was given to the tools that were mine. While clean up was great, separating into landfill, recycle and yard waste did not really happen. (I had to put in a wart so the reader can know that I was truly a client.) If I have another project, Ill be back

Finding a good contractor to work with can be a challenging experience, but not with Stepping Stone Landscape. Working with Erik and his team was a pleasure. They understood my concerns, listened to my recommendations and took them into account when developing the plan for my backyard. I had to make certain that the plants were dog-friendly and that was not an issue for Erik s team. The team was courteous and cleaned-up every evening before they left. They finished within the time frame detailed in the contract and everything in my backyard was put back in place before they left. I would highly recommend Stepping Stone Landscape.
