We live in an area where the weeds are just out of control. It was my neighbor who decided to try Macario Brothers first. When I saw the results after the first service and the complete destruction of every weed in his front and backyard, I was completely amazed and called them to take care of my lawn as well. I have been with them now for a couple of months, and Im grateful that they are now taking care of it all! Definitely recommend!

We are new homeowners and the people who lived in the home before us did not take care of the yard at all. It has taken my fiancée MONTHS to bring it back to life but the weeds were something he could not get a handle on. We tried everything, he d spend hours and hours hand pulling the weeds, spending so much money on weed killer nothing would work. After seeing the Macario brothers trucks constantly in our neighborhood we decided to check them out and we are glad we did. 1.) Now we barely have any weeds, maybe a handful, but nowhere near to how it was before. 2) they also throw some fertilizer down each time they have come and it has done wonders. Our lawn looks so beautiful and finally full. 3) the price is super similar to another company. I ll be honest, the big chain company ALMOST had us, we were close to signing with them but I m so glad we didn t. We are super big on supporting small business as much a possible.

Best Choice we made for our yard this year. We have been in our house almost 6 years and after hubby trying to do everything to rid the weeds it was just more trial & error and time consuming. We tried another business for 2 years but quit them Nov.23. We started with Macario Brothers March 24 and this is our 3rd treatment and no weeds or maybe a few here and there but it was infested with weeds. Not anymore and grass is pretty green now !!! Met the owner who serviced my lawn and very nice and knowledgeable about yards. Customer Service is amazing and our lawn service is as well.. Highly recommend!

I am leaving this review solely for the incredible customer Ryan was able to provide to my family and I. He was not only able to rearrange our lawn care schedule (last minute on a Saturday) to cater to a personal issue, but he also was able to remedy the fact that I left my gate locked by accident (only front yard was able to be mowed) and somehow managed to fit my yard into the mowers busy schedule TWICE in one day. He was the epitome of what I would look for in an employee if I was hiring for customer service. Dependable, respectful, and humble/understanding. He kept his word, ensured our yard was taken care of TWICE in one day and responded to me immediately every time. Truly exceptional. My lawn was overrun with BIG weeds this year. More than previous years, not sure why. It was out of my league to tackle this. I got several quotes and they included MORE options for LESS money. Took a gamble and paid off BIG! They also did Out Christmas lights! Straight rows. Like military lines! and took them down. They are holding those particular lights for next year already pre cut and measured! Also- after weeds gone, they tipped with rich soil! Gonna be AWESOME! I would say is just a hit & miss with this company. It will depend on the crew you get that day. Some of them really do a marvelous job and are very attention to detail, some just leave gates opened, piles (mountains) of clippings on top of your grass, or just mowed your plants that are part of your landscaping. Some of their crew members really don t care.

I have had a very good experience with Macario brothers. I was usually the one that did the yard work when I was home. As a military member though, I have had some instances where I was away from home for about a year and needed someone to take the reins when it came to managing the spectacle that is our yard. During my absence, my yard was kept under control, so much so I did not get the normal nastygrams that are normally sent out by our very stingy HOA. This is an A+ in my book. Besides that, the workers were detailed in their endeavors.

Aston and crew have done a wonderful job taking care of my lawn. They replaced another company that could not get the job done. I am a very satisfied customer!

When we first started with them they were great. Up until recently they have dropped the ball. Came to spray the yard and failed to do one whole side. We called to have them return. They never communicated that they were on their way so we can ensure the yard was accessible. They showed up again and as I am sitting at home they walk to the side of the house and leave. Never attempt to come to the door to let me know they are here to compete the job. Claimed they tried to call and text .no record of that. So unfortunately with all the headaches we decided to part ways. In response to Macario. Never have we bullied any business including yours into free service. We have no issues paying for services rendered. I have video showing the technician never coming to the door to let us know they are here to complete services. Even if the call may have been blocked there was still no text or anyone coming to the door to ensure they can access the backyard. The original day that treatment was done I was at home and not once did the technician come to the door to let me know they can t access the side of the backyard. I would ve easily let them in to complete the work. This is my review and the experience we have had lately. Like I mentioned everything was fine up until this issue. Which we ultimately decided to part ways. Thank you.

Super grateful for Macario Bros! Our new home had many layers up on the 2nd story to adorn with Christmas Lights . Booking the appt was easy they were done in what seemed to be less than than 1 hour! And even came out to replace a burnt out bulb. SO pleased!!!

Macario brothers does a fantastic job. They cut my grass and do my weed service and i have no complaints. They are all super friendly and professional and the customer service is always 5 Ryan is especially helpful.

Wish we would have been using Macario Brothers sooner. We cancelled our previous lawn service after a ridiculous price increase. The difference in my lawn between Macario Brothers and my previous service is unbelievable. The lawn is green, lush, no weeds and dead looking areas are gone. Whatever they are spraying is Liquid Gold for your lawn. They also have the best price in the area. You need not look any further for a professional 5 star lawn service.

Had my holiday lighting done by them last year - they did a good job - on the understanding that theyd offer discounted rates as a returning customer this year - and surprise! They tried to bill me more this year giving all sorts of excuses - they wouldnt even match the rate they gave me last year! Very disappointed! And am sorry that the owners defense below too does not hold true - in fact I had requested them to match last years price but obviously commitments dont matter to this company. And yes, I had my installation taken care of by another contractor for a cheaper price than what Macario charged me last year :) with more ethics and commitment to their word.

Best service. We got a winter cleanup and mulch job and these guys are quick and the service looks great. Oh and we signed up for regular mowing too. Easy to talk to

I have Macario Brothers come out to mow my lawn for a home I just purchased. By the time I moved in, it was a Real mess, overgrown grass and in pretty bad shape. Douglas and his team not only did a complete yard clean-up and cut my grass but they did a complete backyard transformation. Im much too busy to keep up with it myself and they were able to service my lawn every two weeks like clockwork without me having to worry about it. Thanks guys!

Douglas is great but there were some issues. - A bit more expensive then their competitors but I thought the extra points resulted in better work - One if the trees trimmed by their company is now dying - Had some trees cut and their sealer dripped black spray paint around the backyard flagstone/concrete - Photos and comments sent to them today, May 1... awaiting resolution Thanks, HV

Macario Bros. did amazing work for us on a quick timeline. We had a ~100 yr old live oak that needed significant trimming and thinning to get ready to rent out our house. Douglas and his team professionally proposed/bid at a competitive price, and scheduled and executed work within about a week of my initial call. Additionally, I called back a year later to track down the receipt for tax time Douglas took the call during weekend off hours, and got me what I needed immediately. Hands down, Macario Bros. is my go-to for any large lawn and yard projects as long as we have a house in San Antonio!

The Macario Brothers were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner. We had the brothers raise the canopies of our trees to remove limbs from our home. This also prepared the grass for plenty of sunshine for the summer of 2019. The Macario Brothers were very polite and respectful of our property. Great impression! They were respectful and easy to work with from beginning to end. They did a great job trimming up some bushes/palm trees throughout the property. As well as replace the sod in the front yard and install 3 new flower beds with mulch/rock. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to have professional landscaping work done! This the first place to call when you need lawn maintenance and cleanups. You will get good communication, inexpensive pricing and a good experience overall. I have been using Maracio Brothers Lawn Care for the past 6 months and cannot say enough good things. He crew is professional and their work is phenomenal. I travel quite a bit and never thought I would hire someone to do my yard work, however I wouldnt change a thing. My wife and kids are comfortable around the crew and again, they are simply extremely professional and do great work.

Fair price. Arrived on time. Work done in a timely fashion. Did a good job. Did what they said they would do. Professional. Would hire again.

We have had Douglas and crews maintain our yard gor several years now. The work is always excellent. We have had them clean out and add more rock to plant beds, tree trimming, along with regular lawn grooming. I love the way my bushes in the front pf the house have been trimmed. My lawn grooming is on a regularly occurring schedule and the crew is reliable. We have also referred friends and neighbors to Macarrio Brothers sll of which have eitger gone eith regular maintenance or have periodic tree trimming by them. So nice to not have to worry about the landscaping. Highly recommend.
