Cant-Get-Right Lawns.. The simplest request will stump them. It started with an email explaining Im a current customer in Schertz and asked if they offer a service for bagging clippings. Their response was We currently dont service the Austin area but will let you know when we do. I let that go, a few weeks later I wanted my grass cut an inch shorter, so I thought it would be better to call instead. They assured me it wasnt an issue, told me multiple times they would be there the following day on my regularly scheduled day, she even said their q.c. manager for the area was there and she let him know as well. The following day no one came. So I called back and was informed I was automatically changed to every 2 weeks instead of weekly. I requested to talk to their manager. Michael said she was in a meeting. After 2 1/2 hours I didnt hear anything, so I called back. Apparently their customer care manager Kimberly was still in a meeting. (Must of been huge discoveries in the landscaping industry) After calling my wife, instead of my number that I left with Michael, I got her on the phone. As a Customer Care manager, she couldnt care less. I wanted to be kept on weekly service and for it not to change without my consent. She couldnt do that. Theres only 2 promises they make on their website. Same Day Service when notified before noon. She couldnt do the same day, next day or day after. Basically it was every 2 weeks or nothing. The other promise Satisfaction Guaranteed = She didnt even attempt to make anything right. Cant Get Right Lawns has no integrity or any motivation to uphold their companies policies. They went from serving 2 of my properties to 0! Great job Customer Careless Manager Kimberly! Way to utilize all those lessons learned in that three hour meeting!

From the initial email requesting information and a quote, to service and follow through, these guys have been fantastic! We look forward to working with them and beautifying out lawn.

I got set up over the phone & they said they would come out on 8/21. I was home all day and no one ever came. This was also my birthday so I simply wanted a clean looking yard for my special day. They tried to charge my card yesterday on 8/22 & my grass remains the same. LOL. I checked my account with them online & it shows my yard was serviced by Johnny Lee Jackson. Good thing I gave them a locked credit card so no money was taken from me but cant believe they tried to charge me without actually mowing my lawn

This company is extremely shady!!!! They will charge your account multiple times a week for services you did not accept. I have front lawn only for 29.00 every 2 weeks ONLY. And they decided to charge me every week for 40.00, which is backyard and front yard. And no one did my backyard. Not only that, but after calling them to correct the error and not getting any credit, THEY DID IT AGAIN! AND WAIT THERES MORE. THEY CHARGED ME TWICE IN ONE WEEK!!! Customers beware. They will rip you off and won t accept responsibility. Avoid these people at all costs. They will drain your bank account without your permission. Considering suing this company. Unbelievable!

Getting set up was confusing and frustrating. Very little communication from the team. The service was fine enough once it got going but again no communication about any rescheduling for weather or holidays. Thankfully our dogs stay inside most of the time cuz I never had any warning when they would show up. I would much rather give my money to a neighborhood kid because I feel like the quality of yard care would be the same and the kid would appreciate my business more.

There was a lot of grass to mow for the first time, and the guy did a good job. I look forward to my lawn looking better over time. I m glad I called Just Right Lawns. Update: It s been a year now and the lawn does not look good. The mowing is so-so, the guy has mowed and broke sprinklers, and edging is really a hit and miss. However, for the price, it s ok.

I would not recommend this lawn care service- they are deceptive as to the services they provide and lawn care services are very poor. They will not remove branches or any obstacles when mowing. They have a leaf removal service which means leaving the bag of leaves on your property. Those pictured have been there since February 2024. When you call to get some assistance, they keep you on hold hoping you will just hang up.

We had hired them for just a short while because the cost wasnt worth the service we were receiving. Such sloppy, careless work on our lawn and they were always in such a rush to get in and out of there.

If I could leave no stars, I would. Terrible service, job was incomplete. They left patches of uncut grass and didnt pick up cuttings. Took the day off to be home. Had to call 3 times to verify arrival, and when they finally showed up, no one was home to verify work because they showed up in a window that wasnt confirmed. Will never use this service again and I dont reccomend.

The company is very unprofessional. They dont have a proper website to make payments. Its all done over the phone. They expect us to give credit card numbers on the phone. We wanted to pay as needed. They insisted on coming every week(which was unnecessary). Then after we canceled, they charged us anyways. We tried to get a refund, but they refused to give us one. Bad business.

Just Right Lawns do a terrific job. We have used them for years. They did my hedges yesterday and they look great. So pleased with their work and professionalism.

Signed up for them to do weekly mowing and that was to include mowing, edging, weed eating and blowing. The first week, I had to call customer service because there were lines in the yard of missed grass and they didn t do any weed eating, edging, or blowing. They sent the guys back out. They spent maybe 15 minutes for front and back with only two guys. I decided to give them another chance and my husband was home this time to make sure yard was done correctly. Still not very good work. The next week they didn t even show up and claimed there were solar panel people at my house. My ring camera didn t show anything and didn t show they ever showed up to my house. Finally, I was going out of town and have three dogs. My husband called to see if they could either come another day or give a timeframe for when they would be here, it was a no to both. We had them only do the front yard since they wouldn t work with us and that was the final straw. Their work was terrible and we fired them. Don t waste your money on these people. They charge around $50-60 a week for work that a child could do 10x better. We have since discovered they broke two of our sprinkler heads in the front yard where they used a riding lawnmower even though my front yard is much smaller than my backyard and they used a push mower for the backyard. They were told about the sprinklers before ever signing up. We haven t heard back from them about the sprinklers and don t believe we will. Unless you are bilingual and can speak Spanish, you will not be able to communicate with the mowers. They didn t speak English.

Made an appt for today I yesterday I gave them my information along with my debit card. I checked with them today and they did not have any record

The Customer Service is excellent from the office and the staff that come to do the yards. We have been with them for a few years now and am happy with the work they do.

I was a customer of Just Right Lawns for about 3 years until I cancelled my service after realizing they do not care about their customers (even their long-term customers). I ordered the Leaf Relief Service (in addition to my usual lawn service) which they stated they would use 30 gallon bags to store the leaves and then put them on the curb/street. I also confirmed over the phone that they were supposed to have SEALED the bags. However, this is not what occurred. Not only were the bags not sealed, but they were all wide OPEN and some of them had leaves past the recommended line that says do not fill above this line. This may not seem like a big deal, but I payed an extra $32 (on top of the usual biweekly ~$50) for a completed service that never happened. Also, I can get bad allergies with wheezing/breathing problems symptoms, so sealing the bags full of leaves and allergens myself was going to be problematic. Finally, anyone could have accidentally walked into these bags, easily tipping them over, and there would have been leaves all over the road that I would have been responsible for. Same thing for any bad weather conditions that could have tipped the bags over or caused the bags to overflow in the case of heavy rain. So I then called their customer service as an attempt to get the full service I paid for. The customer rep lady I talked to was nice and professional, but the scheduling manager that she had to keep putting me on hold for surely was not. However, as a customer of 3 years, I tried and tried (and tried yet again) to work out a simple solution. After all, surely a customer of 3 years would be valued, right? Nope, not in this case at all. First, I tried to get the lawn staff to come back and use proper 30 gallon trash bags because those are meant to be tightly sealed as opposed to the brown paper bags they used. They said no after I was put on hold. Second, I asked if the lawn staff could just come back and just properly seal the brown paper bags like I CONFIRMED they were supposed to have done. They said no again. Finally, I said I will either buy some proper 30 gallon trash bags or buy some duct tape to seal them as protection against bad weather or people accidentally walking into them and creating an absolute mess. All I wanted in return for this inconvenience was a mere $5-$10 discount (considering I had to go to the store and buy some things to finish their job). I was put on hold once more and met with yet another NO. I pleaded for several more minutes that surely they dont want to lose a 3 year customer over $5-$10? For me, it wasnt just about the money, it was also the fact that Just Right Lawns was literally not willing to do ANYTHING to reimburse the inconvenience of me going to the store and then coming back to finish the job they never completed (sealing the bags). All of this even after they admitted (multiple times) the fault was theirs. Despite that, the scheduling manager stated they couldnt issue any kind of discount since the service was already done --even though this statement directly contradicted them admitting fault to a service that was not fully completed (again something they admitted to multiple times over the phone). I judge a business based on the quality of their service, as well as how they respond to customer complaints. Their usual lawn service was mostly good over the 3 years (with occasional minor issues from time-to-time that I never officially complained about). However, in regards to how the scheduling manager handled my one and only official customer complaint was just pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. It showed me that Just Right Lawns is just right as long as there are no customer complaints. Otherwise, youll get an admission of fault from them, but youll still be expected to pay the full price on a service they never completed.

Do not use just right lawns. As stated by previous clients I was disappointed in the services I received. They don t keep up with the mow schedule but still expect you to pay. The management, Kimberly, is terrible!

Very disappointed with the service I received, schedule the service for real estate pictures, looks like the service was completed by the neighborhood kid pushing a lawnmower. They offered me a $10 dollar credit, totally unacceptable, would not recommend this company.

The pictures they show of all the equipment they use and trucks is false. You have some random guy that shows up with a beat up lawn mower and just scalps your grass. Ive asked them multiple times to set their lawn mower high so that way they can come out twice a month and they never do. On top of that theyve burnt my yard to where it has a trail of one of the workers when they used a weed eater. They burnt the grass so bad that its not growing back and now I have this Trail around my backyard of dead grass. Ive called their office multiple times asking them to cut the lawn high they never do. The person whos currently assigned to my yard actually cut the wrong yard and had to come back the next day and they did a terrible job. My grass used to look green and now its dead. They arent professional if your grass is dead they wont stop to tell you theyll just go and cut it more until its no longer existent. This company might sound like they have it together but their workers dont know what theyre doing stay away.

I asked for a one time mow and leaf cleanup. They did a terrible job. They didnt even edge and more than half the leaves were left. The piles of leaves I had raked up were still there!!! For the money I paid I was expecting professionals. Instead I got a $40 college kid job. I feel so completely ripped off and misled.

Cant tell the difference between grass and ivy. Mowed over ivy that we had for 20 years.

CROOKS! They take your credit card information and hold you hostage with it. They billed me for services I did not authorize, or they did not complete and refused to take accountability. The customer service is AWFUL!! The service was just as bad. The crews would blow leaves and grass clippings into my neighbors yards causing multiple complaints and even reports to my HOA. I never received a response when reached out to the contact center. DO NOT USE!!

They show up when they say they will , and they do everything they say they are going to do that was not my experience with the last two yard services I had.

The person who cut my grass did a terrible job and when it was all said and done it cost $40.00 more than what was anticipated. I will never use this service again.

I have been using just right lawns for well over a year now, and they are prompt, do a good job, even when its raining or snowing, or shark tornadoes, they just come out to take care of the lawn. Theres not much to take care of but they do a good job of what is there. They tag and bag most of the debris and honestly I couldnt be happier.

The service person was very focused and quick. We requested a time frame and they responded appropriately. We recommend Just great Lawns to others.

I called for a quote. I was told they could not tell me how much the long grass fee would be until they re there to mow the lawn and they would not come to the house until I commit to 3 mows. So I would need to commit to 3 mows without having any clue what that will cost? How does that make sense? What if the long grass fee is $500? This makes literally zero sense.

I was told the crew that was coming to my house had 27 lawns scheduled in one day. So they arrived at the end of the day, two guys. My cameras show that they arrived at 4:02 and drove away at 4:33. The job reflects the time. The grass is all different lengths as if they need to replace their blades, they ran over sprinkler heads and left them in the street, and they completely missed certain areas. I called the company. They said I still had to pay for the service but MAYBE they will come back out to fix my sprinkler heads. I called them to see when they will be back out so I can water and turns out the area manager is going to be out of town. He never called. The crew and equipment is nothing like the pictures. total scam. The two guys who showed up were not in uniform nor had vests, their vehicle was unmarked old and beat up, the lawn mower is the size I bought my son when he was 14 except mine was new and in good condition. They did not bag the grass and they do not haul away. I cancelled my future services and deleted my credit card. They are actually considering charging me for my cancellation. I will let them fight me for it. My credit card is no longer in their file. Horrible service and it starts from the top. No bueno. Go somewhere else I am editing my review to respond to the owners response below. No one has called me to follow up or fix anything. The owner responded so everyone will think they take responsibility. Please dont be fooled. NO ONE has called or attempted to fix anything. buyer beware. update: another week has gone by. My husband fixed my sprinkler and no one ever called. They took my hundred dollars and never fixed their job. This is why they want your credit card upfront. They know you wont pay unless forced or tricked. Im seriously considering small claims because companies should nt treat consumers like this. Everyone needs their money these days and this is a big con job.

The lawn was mowed but was not shaped and the cut grasses were just left on the lawn. If the come in next 2 weeks and repeat this kind of job, I m afraid I will terminate their service

I had great service with this company for over a year, but since March/April of this year there have been missed visits that I was still charged for, and a comedy of errors where I finally decided to cancel. While they have always been responsive and willing to fix billing errors, they have reported limited days and crews to come out to fix my lawn. The most recent crew continuously blows grass cuttings all over my mulched garden beds and they damaged my gate during one of their visits and have been very slow to send someone out to look at it for repair. I finally cancelled service. I don t know what is going on with their newer service crews, but it is not the customer service that I was previously receiving. As a positive, the office team is very responsive to pictures and correcting billing concerns quickly when they do make a mistake with billing.

They came out to our house to do our lawn and missed half of the yard. We called to let them know and we told them that we would not be paying until they came out to finish the job. They came out two weeks later to finish the job. We paid them after they came back. After that we were told that we are no longer allowed to use their services. I would highly recommend not using their services. Terrible customer service.

I would highly recommend this company. They are the best mowing service I ve ever worked with when you call I would ask for Jason. He always make sure the customer is happy and values your feedback, no matter what it is big or small.

Update (9/9/23) Disappointing While the customer service has consistently been helpful the team that cuts the grass has consistently missed large areas that we ve requested be cut dow and left the excess grass over our flowers and bushes. We no longer use them as our service. The Second Appointment Shout out to Gabriel of the Just Right Lawns Customer Service Team. I have had excellent customer service with Just Right Lawns each time I have called them. In December 2022, my elderly parent s yard needed a good cut. I worked with a helpful and friendly young lady who assisted me in setting up an account and scheduling a Fly Bye Service since they did not need consistent cutting until the summer. The lawn crew was efficient and careful about not cutting our flowers or shrubs. Fast forward to June of this year, my parents were ready to set up a recurring service but needed help understanding prices and updating the account. Our rep. was Gabriel, and he was patient, informative, and personable as my mother asked questions and needed help navigating the site. He even stayed on the phone with us a bit more past closing hours because she needed extra time. I will update the review about their experience with the recurring service after a few more appointments.

They were fine at the start. However in November I was going to cancel because it was winter. They recommended freezing the account until March. I said fine. I lock my gate so I was surprised when they came today a week before March and because no one said anything they did not service my backyard. I was infuriated and called to let them know no one told me. We told you 4 months ago that we would come end of February. One, you said March. Two, you won t do anything to fix it other than We ll get to it next time. No. Not happening. Find a new client.

I was a loyal customer for nearly 5 years. I called today to issue feedback/concerns regarding my service. I had a crew coming every two weeks for mowing, edging and leaf blowing. I did not get service two weeks ago, and assumed (incorrectly I now know) that it was placed on winter hold as I have done in years past. When I received notice today that the crew would be delayed, I immediately called as I was confused. I explained that I work from home, and I know when the crew comes each Thursday. I also always check the back deck, to see if it has been blown. It wasnt. So it confirmed that they had not come that day. The customer service rep explained that since I had not immediately called, she could not issue a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she placed me on hold, only to return to tell me the supervisor was not available. She repeated that I waited too long to report the service had not been completed. This is not the first time the crew has either not completed, or done a poor job completing my yard. The longest they have ever been at my home is 15 minutes. Typically they are in and out in less than 10. They recently raised their prices by 25%. I did not complain, as I understand the cost of doing business is increasing. However, I will certainly not allow them to take advantage and charge me for a service they did not complete. Because it appeared no one cared to even listen to my concerns, I cancelled my service, and the customer service rep couldnt have cared less. They were so quick and willing to lose a nearly 5 year customer over $53.

This was absolutely the worst vendor that Ive worked with in some time. I do not recommend anyone utilize this company and I frankly dont understand how their ratings are so high. My husband and I elected for the bi-weekly service and both the sign-up process and first service were great. The second time they were scheduled to come out, they simply didnt show up. My husband received an email stating the team didnt have the gate-code, despite the gate-code being in our file from the first visit. My husband responded to that email within 10 minutes and confirmed the code. The team did not show up, nor did we receive a response until the next morning when a staff member responded saying they process calls faster than emails, begging the question of why they emailed in the first place. They did come out the next day free of charge, but the job they did was terrible. They cut the grass but they didnt mulch the debris they blew off our large porch and driveway before blowing it back onto the yard, and the lawn actually looked worse after they left than before they arrived. I was on and off the phone with two individuals, neither of whom were in any way apologetic and whom were unwilling to work with me on addressing the multiple screw-ups from their team even after I recommended we switch to a more regular service, meaning they wouldve ultimately netted more money from our business. If you are looking for a lawn-care vendor in the San Antonio-Converse area, DO NOT use Just Right Lawns, they are abysmal on all fronts.

I called and had this lawn service come out today for every other week mowing, edging, leaf removal, etc. They came while I was out, mowed, did the edging, but didn t provide the leaf relief service. I called back and it was noticed that the leaf relief service wasn t included in the order for today s visit. After speaking to customer service that was corrected and they came back, same day, to do the leaf relief. I was impressed. I went outside to check out the lawn and realized they ve used the weed eater on my amaryllis flower. It had a huge red bloom but this lawn service was unable to identify it as a flower within a flower bed. This was my first impression. I m disappointed in their service. I called and cancelled the service but will be charged a $30 cancellation fee since I did not have them come out a total of 6 times prior to cancelling. I thought it was better to pay the $30 and cut my losses.

Have been using Just Right Lawns for about 4 years They have been excellent and professional. I highly recommend them. Positive

The service was good and on time but I am upset about the additional service fee charged for cutting the grass. I was told I was being charged more for the grass being tall which was not the case in most of the yard. There were a few patches that was overgrown but not much. I just switched from another lawn care provider so it was mowed 3 weeks prior. So to charge an additional 50% fee on top of the regular service was absurd. I understand some additional amount for the overgrown areas but my yard is well kept up and 50% was definitely not justified. I will continue my agreement for the next 6 mows but will probably not continue using this service. If there is anything that can be done to change my mind, now is a good time to reach out.

The workers are always friendly and respectful. I have two dogs who are sometimes outside and the men kindly give me time to get hem indoors and they never forget to shut the gate after them. The yard always looks great when they finish. I am very grateful for their service.

Due to the winter storm of 2021, my yard looked messed and full of dry and dead leaves and branches. I ordered landscaping maintenance for three hours and finally spent 5 hours for everything even with removing a not very tall dead tree ( 10 feet at least). As well as mulching. IMO, two workers for 5 hours is still efficient. I haven t carefully inspected outside after they left. After I do, I will update my review here. Mulching is placed well. Price is reasonable compared with my previous service provider. Only problem for me is the guys coming can t speak English. This is the first time to hire them. Even if I photoed my whole yards and explained to the office, I still needs to talk onsite. We talk through the phone with office and employees together...

From the beginning to end great customer service. Answered emails/call with scheduling questions, set up was easy, and the convenience of not having to present was a bonus as I work remote/office depends on the week. I came home to clean, cut yard, clear patio. Super job well done ;)

A friend, who cancelled his service, referred me to this company. I used their lawn mowing service and their dog waste pick up service. The lawn service was good. However the dog waste pick up was awful. They never picked up all the dog waste there was always old dog waste on the lawn. I called and complained a couple of times but was told they techs took photos of the dog waste they picked up. After a while I decided to go with another company who does a much better job.

They do a good job, plus the schedule & payments are on autopilot, so I dont have to do anything.

Did not complete job. This was after speaking to the lawn people about the cut. To have them jump in the truck and drive away. We called more than once to have them address the issue. Not one person has returned our called.

Tried for two weeks to have someone come cut our yard. 1st appointment was supposed to be last week (June 9th or 10th) no one showed up. Called and was told 3rd party vendor didnt put us in the system. Rescheduled appointment for 6.16. Again no one showed up. Call back and was told our account was never activated and only an estimate was given. No history of an appointment. Again, issues with the third party. Declined being put on the schedule for a third time. They do really great work at my neighbors. Really suggest looking into your 3rd party, who knows how much money / business you could be losing out on for dropped appointments!

Amazing company! They worked around the road closure/re-paving that overlapped our tight schedule needs. We needed our lawn prepared for an open house-las minute and they delivered!! Absolutely recommend! They did a beautiful cut, and, unlike other services we have used, they did NOT cut too short. Fantastic service, communication, and attention!! Thank you so much!!!

These guys have been cutting my grass for over a year and each and every time its professionally manicured. Sometimes our kids leave things in the yard and we forget to pick them up. Just right lawns takes care of it and gets the job done. I have used them on several rental properties as well and they always do a great job! if you need a great, affordable lawn service company then look no further.

I called to let them know and they reimbursed me for the damages. The process to get that resolved was also easy and the young lady who assisted me was very polite and professional.
