We recently had the pleasure of working with Jim and his team on the planning and installation of a drought-tolerant landscape for our home. As we near completion of the project, several things come to mind: the company culture at Smith & Enright is one of mutual respect between managers and employees. The team that arrived at our house daily brought not only a sense of humor and enthusiasm for our project, but knowledge of their craft and extensive experience. They took pride in every step of the process and had the resources to deal with problems that came up in a timely manner. I had such an amazing experience from speaking to Selena to the gentlemen that planted my new tree. I called last week to see if they could plant my new autumn blaze. Smith & Enright did a small backyard project for us several years ago and we were very pleased. When we decided to completely redo the front we didn’t hesitate to call them back. Jim Smith worked up a preliminary plan and was flexible as the job progressed. His crew was capable, professional and courteous. Jim was in constant contact. Everything went well and turned out beautifully.

Landscaping was the last major item on our list of improvements to our home. I called 8 different landscaping companies, 4 showed up to look at the property, only 2 were brave enough to bid the project. It was major, probably an acre plus of taking the earth back to a good place, replacing all the irrigation, roof drainage, low voltage lighting and more. Jim Smith is a visionary when it comes to plants, layout, visualization, etc. His vision was clear, his team was extremely professional and very Covid aware. The experience for us was nothing but pleasant, all five months of it. If I was ever crazy enough to take on another project of this size I know Smith and Enright would be our go to guys. Professional, courteous, always a smile and very respectful of our home in the process.

Smith and Enright started out using a push lawn mower when they started our service, now they only use a weed whacker. Today they tried to cut our grass with a huge lawn mower that put large holes in our turf. No one in the company understands lawn care or maintenance or they simply just don't care. I stopped them from using the weed whackers last week, but they were just out today weed whackers in hand. See photo's attached for evidence of damage they are causing.
